After having McGinty Toman electric do the electrical work for our renovation, knowing their workmanship made it real easy to ask them back to install an EV car charger. Mark McGinty was very helpful in reviewing our current set up and what our options were and pricing for each, so that we could make the most economical decision for what suited us. He went through everything with me, was very timely with responses to questions and had the quote done up and had us scheduled in very quickly. The ESA inspector himself had nothing but good things to say on their work, and referred to them as having strong skillsets and work ethics.

I recently bought an older home and hired McGinty Toman Electric to replace my old fuse panel and check all of the outlets in my home to ensure safety. Their price was roughly aligned with other quotes. Mark came out and assessed the work, and made recommendations based on what I needed rather than trying to upsell. The work was arranged as quickly as possible and the electricians arrived on time. When the morning started with an unexpected issue with the meter base, Brandon found a quick fix and got on with the work. In the end it was finished on time and at no extra cost. I would absolutely recommend this company.

I called Mark yesterday and described the electrical issue that I was experiencing. He advised me to try something first and get back to him which I did and, ‘problem solved’. Not only did Mark save me money but he demonstrated a non selfish professionalism that is rare to find nowadays. One of the advices he also gave me was that if my problem could wait for Monday, that would be preferable so that I pay lower rates compared to weekends which I also found to be an amazing customer centric service. Mark,a licensed electrician and co-owner was the person who came to my home to give me a quote. Two other companies sent out a person to quote me but neither person was a licensed electrician. Mark on the other hand was able to see exactly what I needed and quoted accurately. He told me he would work with me on the project and he did. The two men who did the job also worked well with me. Communications were perfect; I was pleased that they checked with me first on any decision point that warranted my input. They made suggestions on lighting that enhanced both of the jobs they did for us. They sourced and brought in a trenching contractor that was equally impressive.
