Terribly rude service on Friday Nov 18th. We are in Kingston on a college tour for our young adult. Family went in to purchase product and left feeling like criminals. Extremely embarrassed how we were spoken to in an extremely busy store. Our family stopped into purchase beverages…long story short. You are right with asking for ID, however there is a way to speak to customers and let them know in a professional manner regarding carrying purchases for adults when you are 18. Father and young adult refused at cash because daughter touched cooler for 10 seconds while father grabbed basket. We understand and apologized. Mother went in after to purchase product and refused at cash as well. Shame on you for making me feel this way. I’m sure there is a better way to deal with this scenario. We travelled along way to look at colleges in Kingston. You put a terrible taste in our mouth regarding your customer service. My husband and daughter might have made a mistake but the way I was treated is unacceptable. I didn’t go with them the first time. Learn some customer service!! Princess street lcbo

Only because of one staffs tone of language. There was a fat young lady with specs . I felt her tone of language was rude and arrogant towards us. I bought 3 tin beers and because of cold I gave one of them to my cousin who was with me at that time. Because of the cold, one beer was in his hands, and unfortunately he did not have a physical ID ( he is 25 years old) to show. But it was for me and I was paying the money.But she did not give us one beer which wan his hands only because he hold it. I can understand that but he told it in a tone that was rude and arrogant. It is not good for a front deskor billing person especially in a country like Canada. To be frank I was a daily customer there and I don't want to go there again. Thank you

Terrible experience!! Manager Allison was verbally abusing an employee who was calling another store to confirm stock before we drove there! We did not get served and the poor cashier who was being yelled at had paper snatched from her hand. That manager should not be running a store. I feel so bad for those poor staff who are forced to work for such a bully who would be so abusive to staff, and in public no less! Time for a change in management at that location so staff can do their job without being harrassed. The bully also inconvenienced us, wasted the time of the employee at the other location who was checking stock there, and then prevented us from getting the info on the product we needed. Terrible

I usually go to the LCBO on Armstrong because the customer service is always exceptional. Today, i stopped in & the tall young man with reddish brown hair decided to put 12 cans into a single paper bag. Inevitably the bag ripped in the parking lot and I lost 3 beverages I just paid for. Absolutely livid. I expected that staff were TRAINED on how to handle and package the merchandise. Safe to say, your staff don't seem to care. You can find my leaking cans in the lawn at the back of your parking lot. Happy Friday.

The worst experience I’ve ever had at a liquor store. I went in with my brother because he wanted to stop in as we were out shopping and it isn’t safe for me to walk home alone at night. The security guard followed us around the store the entire time, the manager walked by to watch us, another supervisor asked the cashier to check my ID and then the security guard proceeded to be yell at my brother that he was buying alcohol for a minor. Never have I experienced this before, the blatant rudeness and disrespect.

Visited on a Friday afternoon, around 4 PM. The staff person that helped me find the products that I was looking for was helpful. Unfortunately, only 1 checkout was manned. I was 7th in line. When I asked if another could be opened, I was informed that someone was coming. 5 minutes later, when I asked again, was again informed that someone was coming even though the person at the checkout counter did not query anyone. On a busy Friday afternoon, you can't have only 1 opened checkout!

This location always appears to be very well stocked and I have always had a good experience with the staff members. Today I decided to write a review because I just had another excellent experience. I was looking at a specific brand of cider but only saw one flavour. The staff member saw that I was looking at the cider, asked me if I was looking for the original flavour (I was) and ran into the back to grab it for me. She was so kind and helpful!

Lady at the counter can't do the simplest of math she looks to intoxicated to be working then the security guard sits there hovering over your shoulder because he's so board an has nothing to do definitely will not be coming back to this one me an my brother took our money to the one across from basics it's very nice there and it has a very good set of employees I don't recommend coming to this one tho any other one is a better choice.

My go to for spirits :) staff there are friendly and very helpful. I go here all the time because im basically a regular and they know who i am. I get alot of other places asking for i.d when i am 37 years old. Some say its a compliment but when im refused service because i look 21?! Its disappointing, but here they know im of age so im always able to purchase my spirits for my get togethers :) great job staff! Keep it up!

Very rude stafff. I went there before many time never felt that. But new staff i just went there today 17 feb 2022. Lady working there was so rude have no sense of talking to someone. And make comment on my nationality that i am idiot indian. It was rude and racist. I will never come back to this place. Go to LCBO located on midland they are really good as compared to this one. So racist

This location has incredibly helpful staff! Particularly Denelle and Cole who both went out of their way to spend extra time trying to help me find what I was looking for. Cole has an expansive knowledge of wines and went the extra mile to help me and make suggestions. VERY good experience at this store.

This location has ample parking, and the staff was more than happy to check the supplies that were just arriving to find product I was looking for. The store is a short distance from the Kingston center transit hub, making traveling to and from without a car convenient as well.

The Princess and Concession location in Kingston is smaller than the two other sites I usually go to, but not the smallest one I've been to. Selection is limited as a result. It feels like it should be replaced with a more current designed facility.
