Today was a glimpse into the LCBO and how antiquated they are. Yes they make us money, but how much are they not making us? I encountered their database supply system today. What I discovered is that the system is erroneous. For a system to work you need employees that scan product in as it is received. That way when it's sold the POS updates the database and orders are made without human input. That's where the problem begins. I work for a company with over 15000 locations and two warehouses. We know what's where, what's in transit and what's in Warehouse. It's no mystery you just have to enforce the system. It's all part of how a real business is run. Unfortunately this is not a rep business. Government oversight has produced a bloated and out of touch operation. As a consumer and a taxpayer this solution fails. It's not rocket science, sub out your supply chain, enforce database updating and train your employees.

Good selection of products, but the staff left more to be desired. While contemplating beverages to purchase, a staff member told my partner that he should carry his service dog because, "there's bottles breaking here all of the time. That's why there's a 'no dogs allowed' sticker on the front door." Really? No, "Hello - how can I help you?" No, "We do our best to keep this establishment up to health and safety code and recognize that we are obligated to accommodate our patrons within due reason, but please be aware that there may be residual glass that could harm your service animal." That last script would be a lot to ask for, but in no world should someone ask a person requiring a service dog to lift them up and carry them around the store without thinking that's inappropriate. Do not compare a service dog to your pet sticker at the front of your store. Please be more aware of your industry next time around.

Kingston has six LCBO locations, three smaller ones, three larger, of which the Division Street location is one. It is in an area serving both the city's north end as well as travelers on the 401 who pull off from trips to get a meal. Selection is better than the smaller stores but not as broad as the main downtown store. It works well for the market it has, to the point that some people pass other locations for it. If you have something specific that you want, I recommend using the LCBO app to find it first, as it can have a higher turnover than other locations, particularly during travel times.

I go in alot of LCBO's but this one has to be the best. It is clean, well stocked, fully staffed even with security. But the thing I have noticed everytime I go is their wonderful staff. When you ask for anything, they immediately drop what they are doing and help even if it means going to the stock room. Then if it is a shelf product, they make suggestions. They also listen well as one recommendation was higher priced and I mentioned it was for cooking so he immediately handed me the cheaper one. Then we had a discussion over another product and I decided to pick his! Too bad no air miles!

The worse experience ever. Traveling here from Toronto and after we got in the store, a white hair lady who work there were following us ALL the time and keep staring at us. Another cashier girl join her later on, keep watching us, and following us everywhere. We never did anything bad, we even greeting with them when we get in the store! I don’t understand their behavior which is so rude. I am a big LCBO fan, I go to LCBO every time when I am in a new place. Never thought something like this will happen.

This LCBO actually has a cooled beer section as well. Which means there's no need to head to the beer store as well. As they have a huge selection of beer as well. I only rated it 4 out of 5 because some of the beers that are still popular weren't there/ in stock.but it's a nice large and well laid out floor plan. So yes I recommend this lcbo. Don't be fooled by its location its still pleasant even though the area its in.

LCBO alway has a great selection and is almost never out of stock on the items that I buy most frequently. The only down side to the LCBO is that it is a monopoly so prices are not even close to being as economical or fair as shopping in the USA. A great example is that economy brands of alcohol tend to be only a dollar or two cheaper than premium brand. In that respect, Canadians do get gouged at the register.

I was in the parking lot trying out a purchase from shannonville that was wildly underated but my Roommates brother was down from the Yukon amd wanted Trailer Park Boys whiskey to bring back with him and they had half a case availiable for purchase so it worked out amazing for everyone that day...i barely even coughed.. …

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I am referring to one specific employee - Dyed streak of red hair, name is Kelly, absolutely appalling. I am completely astonished that the LCBO would hire and keep such staff. Will never be going to this location again!

Huge selection of beer, wine, and spirits. Store is very clean and well organized so it's easy to find what you want. Prices were average so nothing outrageous. They have a nice selection of local craft beers but could not buy many things cold so you would have to chill it before drinking.

I paid a visit here today around 6:40 pm I have my I’d proof but my friend didn’t she refuse to give order that’s fine we understand the policy But the way she speaks she has no sense to speak with customer she behave soo rudely. She don’t even have in proper uniform no name tag.

Large store on a vast parking lot. I was a lone shopper in the store (as it was still open for indoor attendance,) generous choice of liquors is offered, the staff is courteous, checkout lines are protected and cleaned after every customer. Great shopping experience, thank you!

Products are as described, and have worked wonderfully. I am camping and having a great time. Don't worry, I won't seek compensation if I do something crazy like try to fight a bear, though you may want to check your disclaimers for that specific thing. Thanks LCBO!

Nice new store, really well organized and has a massive fridge area in the back. Decent sized range of beer and ciders. Staff have been helpful and friendly the times I've asked questions, they also clear the lines pretty quickly.

Nothing wrong with the store. Recently I traveled to Cuba and I can get a 1 liter Havana Club rum for 4 converted Peso ( about 5 CDN ) In the LCBO stores the 75 ML bottle same rum is costing me $ 35 CDN Just one question WHY ???

Attitude of staff was terrible, one guy tells me he hates his job and another guy didn't want to box up products off a shelf for me after he found out that they didn't have a case of what I wanted.

My hubby ran in moments before close to grab our friend's favorite drink for a birthday party and they had it in stock and we're still super friendly and helpful even moments passed closing time!

You can count on the LCBO if you want to stand in a line. They obviously have a policy that insures there are never enough cashiers on duty until AFTER you're stuck 5 deep in a line up.

Great staff.. The LCBO does not order enough of my favorite beverage... For past 4 weeks i have tried to acquire my beverage from 4 different stores and it is always out of stock

Employees there are always nice, basically know who I am, i was asked for I.D alot because i do not look 37 apparently lol. But once i kept going back they knew i was of age.

The staff always check in the back for me, if an item appears sold out on the shelves...always courteous to me, and have great product knowledge. A pleasure to shop there.

My main store, 99% of the time they have what I'm looking for, if they don't they will tell me what store I can find it at. They are always pleasant and very helpful.

Big clean and lots of selection here. The beer cooler keeps it cold so you don't get warm beer at this location. As usual the staff were friendly and helpful.

This is a nice, larger LCBO with a great selection of wine and spirits. Even a refrigerated beer room for imported beer. I'll be there again.

The store was very clean and organized and it was easy to find what I was looking for. The front end staff were very friendly and courteous.

Great expert. Floor manager gave recommendations that we wouldn't have considered and they were great! Saved money and excellent quality.

Expectedly busy. At first I was annoyed with only one cash open but then they opened up two more to get everyone through, well managed.
