LCBOs are typically all the same, people are typically helpful and pleasant. However I’m thoroughly disappointed and appalled by the attitude of the cashier this visit. I asked her if they sold glasses by chance after paying for 3 bottles of wine and she responded with an annoyed double negative snide remark: we don’t sell any non-alcoholic items” A bit confused if she heard me I clarified: “I mean glasses to drink it in, like cups or a wine glass” which I thought was a perfectly reasonable question. She responds again: “No, no non alcoholic products.” I respond: “oh okay no problem, I misunderstood you.” And she goes on to condescendingly elaborate: “What’s confusing about that? We only sell alcohol.. is a glass alcoholic? No. Are you still confused? Is anything confusing about that?” Completely taken aback by the unprovoked condescending tone and sarcasm. I looked behind me and noticed several people waiting in line behind me and thought an argument over this wouldn’t be respectful of everyone else’s time so I let it go. A simple no would have sufficed. But apparently this lady couldn’t string together a simple response without a passive aggressive undertone. Needless to say I left very disappointed in my visit and thoroughly annoyed at her disrespect. She was an old lady with a brutish or Australian accent. Crappy cashier.

Good selection, but do not let your teenagers touch the bottles or else they will refuse to sell to you even though they are a monopoly. A month or two ago, my teenage kid was with my and I was carrying a couple of bottle of wine and some cans of Smirnoff ice and a bottle of wine was slipping out of my hands and my teenage kid caught it as it was falling as I was putting stuff on the cashier's counter and the cashier told me, "I cannot sell you this bottle"... what a moronic policy! I checked out, got out of the store, came back immediately alone, went to get another bottle from the shelf and bought it...how stupid is that.

Don't know who makes the decisions affecting the stock selection at this store but very out of touch with the consumer. Suspect it is from head office. Local residents should not have to drive to the 'flagship store' on Cornwall to purchase a specific brand of beer, wine or spirit that again is no longer available here. Difficulties have been encountered with all of the above during the past few months. Downtown store is also closing adding to the inconvenience for the shopper. Centralization does NOT provide good customer service! How about privatization and walking to the corner store!

In Ontario we don't have any other choice for a wide selection of wines & liquors so we are handcuffed to the LCBO if we want any thing other than beer. The grocery store selection of wine is very limited. They do have a very good selection of products but they can also pull products from the shelves and then we have no choice. My favorite wine Cupcake LightHearted Chardonnay is now on clearance and when it's gone I won't be able to get it anywhere else!! We need competition in Ontario for the LCBO!

review date: december 21, 2020 purchase dates: ongoing since march 2020 the lcbo at the dorval crossing plaza is awesome ❤ they have what i need, the staff are polite, and it is very efficient in terms of getting what you need, paying and getting out. bonus for having extended hours thurs-fri-sat, till 10pm. when i am working extra hours, dorval is a great option to grab stuff after working in oakville, in case i can't get back to a hamilton-location lcbo in time.

I am giving it a two, because there was this sales person helping a lady beside me and asking her what she needed, we were in the same section, and after he helped her, she left, and he totally just went back to stock the shelves. Not a single greeting or offer any assistance to me. Maybe some people might not think of it as anything, but i certainly didn't feel good. He was a white shorter man, with tattoos on his legs.

I HAD A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH YOUR MANAGER SUSAN. SUSAN IS EXTREMELY RACIST. IF YOU GUYS REALLY CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE, FIRE HER ASAP. She refused to give my friend and I alcohol because we were Indians and hinted at us being liars. She refused to even verify our ids and asked us to leave. It was utterly disgusting of a person in authority to behave like this. This has been a very upsetting incident.

Great store with friendly and approachable staff. The vintage wine guy (Igor) is top notch. Possibly the best one LCBO has. And the guy that buys the different beers to stock the shelves in the store always stops and asks customers whether they like certain beers, so that he can keep a tab on what people are enjoying and order accordingly. Awesome job folks!

Made me take my mask off wheniwhen 35 years old with a beard and felt very uncomfortable doing it with ppl all around. I look old enough to not stress me. She insisted I do with ppl behind me that understood that it defeatst whole point. I have never had to do this with any LCBOs I've been to. If I get The virus I know where I got it. Never coming back here.

The store has a new layout. What was on the right now is on the left... Very confusing and pushing customer to search and stay in the store long minutes. Great work Management forsing customer to stay inside during pandemic!! Darwin Award contestant for sure. Anyway, I couldn't find fast what I was looking for... So, I left without buying anything.

Most of the staff are lovely but some are inpatient and have an attitude for no reason. If you ask for help finding a particular product, some get irritated. Well, ok. I guess you just don't want me to spend money there...? There's literally multiple LCBOs nearby. I can go elsewhere. Where people don't have an attitude.

The single malt scotch selection at this store was fairly good, but can't compare it to the one at Cornwall Drive. Always found someone who could help out finding the obscure vermouth or bitters. As like any other LCBO store, you can place a custom order for a bottle provided it is available in another LCBO store.

The staff are super friendly, store is clean, they have hand sanitizer to use upon entry and there is usually someone wiping down carts and baskets. The only reason why I didnt give 5 stars is because they are frequently sold out of the products that I go in to buy so I have to get something else.

A lot of good selection for a medium sized store, with a mix of high end wines in a big vintages section, expensive scotches and cognacs under lock and key, to cheep and cheerful wines, coolers and liquor. They also have a decent collection of craft and imported beers on unrefrigerated shelves.

The store was clean and the staff were helpful. Although, none of the staff was COVID-screening people entering the store or even keeping counts of people inside the store. They had a good collection of liquor, red wine, white wine and vintage. Although I had trouble finding a good Prosecco.

I visited this LCBO to pick up a bottle of wine for dinner on the way home. They didn't have the bottle I wanted but I found a pretty decent replacement thanks to the suggestions from the Vintages magazine in store. I also found a couple of interesting and expensive bottles on display here.

I love the fact that it was a well stocked store, so much wine, liquor, etc. to choose from, the fact that the store is smaller than the average liquor store truly surprised me. I like this store, I will go back there again. Fast service and a smooth flow of traffic.

In store is good, pretty decent selection. Careful about private ordering as it may take an excruciatingly long time to deliver. I tried to order something 2 weeks in advance for an event...a week ago. I might be lucky if the liquor arrives this summer.

Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Haven’t had a bad experience here and tend to use this location when we are looking to pick up some alcoholic beverages. Doesn’t always have what I need but they’re willing to help me find it if it’s close.

I try to avoid this particular location if I can. Selection is small, the employees are stuck up and overall a subpar LCBO. Their only advantage is that they are open later than locations near me. But if you can make it to any other location do so.

they never have what im looking for and everytime i go into this location everything is moved to completely different parts of the store making every trip a guessing game. they also dont care if other customers harass you.

I called them to ask about certain beer, lady on the phone was nice and polite. They put ot away for me because it was imported, and it was the last 24 they had. Even with this covid thing everybody was nice and patient.

Love this LCBO store. Located in dorval crossing with lots of parking it's always kept in tip top shape and clean. Nice and big selection of wines and liquors. Wish they had a big more selection on craft beer.

Nice location with a decent selection of spirits. Note that they must have recently added a large refrigerated section to the store and thus have expanded their selection of beer and coolers considerably.

I like this place because they sell booze, however, be aware that, along with a "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service" policy, they also have a secret "No pants and we call the cops" policy.

This is my go-to and favorite LCBO in Oakville. A very good selection of stock, including a nice vintage area and good selection of top shelf whisky. Worth a visit for sure.

Over priced and government controlled. The staff are overpaid yet go on strike regularly for more pay. This chain should be closed and replaced with private sector vendors.

Typical government unionized jobsworths who have zero ability to apply common sense and rationality. Rarely have the non-traditional offerings found at other locations.

Their inventory seems to have narrowed quite a bit… used to be able to find lots of fun new things to try but now I see the same products featured time and time again.

Great selection of beer, wine, and spirits. Nice staff who are very accommodating and will look up anything for you. Highly recommended as your alcohol 1 stop shop.

Monopolized liquor sales. What's there to be happy about? The price gouge on bottles of liquor? Should be embarrassed to run a government business like a mob movie.

This Location is best-selling and welcoming where staff go above and beyond to serve their customers. Ended with some nice ice wine collection to take abroad...

Government liquor store ,warm beer , high prices, long lineups. Here's to the end of this monopoly and allow the private sector to retail these legal products.

Whats not to like about an L.C.B.O. Not promoting the usage of alcohol.. its summer time for me, so a few beers here and there are okay ( in moderation, lol )

The teller forgot to ask if I wanted to make a donation to current charity. I enquired if I could make a donation then the transaction had to be done over.

Great staff, always points you in the right direction. Can walk a straight line from door to vodka selection, excellent practice for later in the evening.

The renovations to this store made a huge difference. The interior is much nicer, but more importantly the selection has greatly improved.

Dorval and Service Road location. Excellent store. Very friendly, helpful staff and great selection. Store was very well staffed as well.

Not as many options available for vintage selection since it is smaller but it's opened an hour later compared to others in Oakville.

Wide variety of selection my only feedback is when there is a sale tab sticker but once you get to the register and states it's not.
