Summary — same selection as other LCBO's with a twist on layout and a good location in the heart of downtown Toronto but ultimately nothing special for the local. Has some interest for tourists or thos new to the city as due to location in the PATH. Points of Interest: It's one of the more interesting LCBO's. The selection is no different than the others but the layout is a bit more interesting given its a high volume location and it's atypical location in a purpose built store. It escales the "box-store" LCBO style that most of the outlets follow. Hiwever, unless you live in the area or are passing through there isn't any real reason, as a local, to visit this location in particular. For Tourists: For those visiting Toronto however, it might be worth a stop over. It not far from most of the main hotels (20 minutes to Royal York, 10 to Eaton Chelsea, 15 to Marriott and Trump). The main reason for stopping by here, particularly for a tourist type is that it's at the PATH intersection where the Eaton Centre, Atrium at Bay, and Dundas Cineplex are connected by an underground shopping concourse. This concourse effectively extends for a kilometre from Saks Fifth Avenue to Dundas Square, making it an interesting place to explore if you new to the city of just visiting.

So this LCBO has good variety of alcohol and I find it fairly easy to shop and get out in a timely mannor. That being said there are two cashiers here who drop the star ratings of this location. Both are absolutely miserable, sarcastic and have little to no customer service. This location is by my work and so a frequent it more often then other locations and so I know that this was not the case of one of these workers having a bad day or having to be front line staff during this time. For years I have had to put up with eye rolling, curt comments and an overall demeanor that I would not tolerate it any if my staff. The reality is both women obviously hate their jobs and do not care a bit about the people who are going through. My suggestion, for those of you who like me have to walk in and make a quick purchase, is not to ask questions cause they both make it quite clear they do not have the time or energy to answer in a pleasant manor and to wait in the line where one of the other employees work cause getting in the line with these two is just not worth it. Keep an eye out for the two older blond women... They are the Karens of the LCBO.

A rather well stocked small LCBO location. Seriously, it's tiny compared to several other ones in the area, but has an absurdly good stock in rarities for its size (especially craft/import beer). There are a few sections that are tiny (whiskey for example) but this place is always good if you just need to grab a bottle or two of something and you're not overly fussy. I definitely would never come here if I needed to make a large purchase though. It's small, cramped, and gets absurdly busy at times. It also is one that has a constant security presence that tends to eyeball anyone under 30 (i assume they have issues with Ryerson across the street. Honestly I'd avoid this location during busy hours. The lineups tend to extend well into the aisles.

I was staying down the road at the Double Tree and needed a few more beers, so I decided I would try this LC seeing as it was close by. The craft beer selection was incredible! I can’t speak about the wine and spirits selection, but the store was stocked quite well. The location threw me off a little as it’s located underground (it isn’t really where the map shows it to be). The sign isn’t hard to miss though if you continue walking down Dundas toward Yonge and there’s an escalator to get downstairs. The staff are friendly and the service is efficient (I’m speaking covid-wise). Definitely recommend this location if you’re looking for beer, wine or liquor while downtown.

Located in the lower level of the building housing the Bank of Montreal on the corner of Bay St and King St. If you are a visitor and unfamiliar with the area, you will need to ask for directions to find it otherwise. It is not obvious. I am Scotch drinker and went there to find a single malt Scotch. Selection was adequate but not overwhelming, although the Balvenie selection was the complete popular line. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I purchased a Glenrothes based on the recommendation of one of the staff. Good recommendation. Wine selection seemed extensive. Beautiful decor.

The LCBO is a bit small for it location, it still has a great selection. Although, the beer and cooler section could be a bit larger. It doesn't carry much imported brands, you'll be able to find the most common items. The cashiers most of the time are friendly, however a few times it seemed almost as if they don't care and are just plain rude. Could also be a result of them constantly getting odd customers that give them trouble as well. Yet, I would still expect customers that don't cause trouble to be treated a little bit more polite.

  • Dana Dean

Not the biggest LCBO downtown Toronto but therein lies one of it's best features! Unless you're looking for something exotic, you'll find a great variety including all the core brands and a good selection of more select vintages. Absolutely perfect for when you just want to get in, pick up what you need and get out! Staff are friendly and very helpful which also makes it an efficient pit stop! 777 College is right on Yonge Street subway (College stop) which makes it as handy as the Atrium on Bay LCBO but this one is less congested.

Been going to this LCBO every other week for the last 7 years, no exception on this year. With service canada been closed (because of covid) I have not been able to get my new license. The old woman whom I've dealt with numerous times including just last month (with no trouble then) decided today I couldn't pay for my order because my ID is expired. Just went to 777 Bay (another LCBO) , also asked for my ID there but had no problem with it been expired. Let me pay and be on my way. Avoid the old woman like the plague.

I have had a positive experience at this LCBO location. They have a good good collection of wines, beers, whiskies, rums etc. The cashier was also nice and friendly. He helped us finding the brand we wanted. The only complaint is we didn't feel comfortable since a male security member was on the phone discussing something loudly and looking at us suspiciously for no reasons. I think they need to be more professional when they are on duty. The management should provide more training to the security guards.

  • James Borland

This is a really nice LCBO store that has a really good selection of wines and Ontario craft beers. Please note that the liquors and spirit collections are small, but give customers the option of a selection of the popular high quality brands. As an Ontario craft beer fan, this place provides a wide variety of styles and brands, including a good selection of different porters and stouts. Diffidently a good place to pick up a few cans or bottles. Located in the basement level of the Manulife Centre.

  • Fabio Ruiz

Just been there a few hours ago. There's a cashier lady a fat blonde lady, she was very rude and don't know about manners at all! I will never go back to that Lcbo, and neither my friends. My friend is 34,and he seems to have 40 or more, and we both tried to buy some beers, and the lady yell to us saying if we have no Id we couldn't buy there, I had my id but she don't want to sell us the beers. Ok maybe it's a policy or a law or whatever, but you don't have to yell or even treat us like robbers.

  • Tara Tayyeb

They were rude and disrespectful. My boyfriend was trying to buy alcohol and they would not let him buy it because I touched it. I am 19 and had a picture of my ID. When he went back to get the alcohol we wanted they kicked him out. I have never experienced this type of disrespect before and never had a problem when I touched alcohol as a minor in any LCBO. Employees there should go learn some respect and customer service skills. Would give 0 star if I could avoid this place!!

  • David Mitzva

Outrageously rude and unprofessional employee. As I was walking in the store, a Filipino employee came around the corner and stopped in front of me. She stood there without saying a word. She was expecting me to walk around her. I asked to see her name tag. After she showed me her name tag I walked away. But she then summoned a security guard. She then came over to me and aggressively raised her voice asking me why did i want to see her name tag.

Classic LCBO location. It's closer to Dundas Square than Bay Street. Direct access from Young and Dundas subway station. very busy in the evenings, weekends and holidays. Great selection of spirits, wine, champagne, coolers, beer, and ciders. A diverse group of people visiting from the financial district, shelters, universities, tourists, and locals. Security is tight, still needs more due to heavy foot traffic and shady customers.

  • Sajid Hussain

Cashier couldn't recognize my Government ID, International Driver's license and my friend's Passport. Checked through a catalogue which had pictures of ID's from my grand dad's time, if not older. What kind of a cashier doesn't recognize his own country's government issues ID? And how can the sole retailer of liquor have back dated ID catalogues? Even so, he was extremely rude and wouldn't reply when we wanted proper justification.

  • Dwight Brown

This government owned establishment has a nice set up, good selection of alcoholic beverages that are also reasonably priced. I have noticed that the security at LCBO is tight and are usually police officers. I have given LCBO four stars, because the officers seem to follow people of colour around more often than not. I cannot say I know the reasoning behind this policy is and I would not like to assume the worst.

  • Elizabeth Lamke

I was in this store on the afternoon on June 8, 2023 and I witnessed 2 security guards tackle a woman who was shoplifting. It was very disturbing to witness. In the scuffle a bottle was broken and smashed all over the floor. They basically assaulted this woman and handcuffed her. Are they allowed to do that? The woman was indigenous, had she been white I doubt they would have tackled her like that.

  • Alex Campbell

Selection is ok but nothing special. Escalator down from street level. Kind of grubby compared to other locations. Only one cashier, neither pleasant nor helpful, working at the service desk, which is not convenient because there is no logical line or counter space. Had to pack my own bag. Uniformed Police officer on guard... gives you a sense there are some rough characters around.

  • Jacquelyn Beverly Aileen Duquet Simon

Quite happy they ID people ao diligently but also hire people who can tell a 37 year old from a 25 year old. Any new staff that ID me i take as a compliment. Yonge and Eglinton may have them beat by a small margin in terms of customer service but in terms of professionalism, knowledge and security over a controlled substance THIS is THE LCBO to go to.

  • WellPricedStuff

One of the best LCBO (Liquor Store) locations downtown. Conveniently located on the lower level of College Park near Service Ontario. Clean brand new store. Very good selection of wine, sake, and hard liquor Check out their Ontario craft beer section !!! Line moves fast. TorontoLocalGuide review. …

I came in today around 3:30pm Staff are rude for no reason I just asked if they had a drink in store as I couldn’t find it and the woman stocking the selves was so mad for no reason with attitude. Then I got to cash and the guy an older guy was rude as well getting Mad over my ID which I provided and am of age.

  • Aria Al

Rude staff The lady her name is Jo was greeting me with “put away that garbage” talking about my scooter Such rude staff I called manager, Mr. Michael, now they said scooters are not allowed. No apology was made. No clarification about her behaviour and why she would be this low to greet customers this way

  • Kevin T

Quite a big selection of vintages, many of which are locked up in a vault. Big selection of international wine and beer, coolers and spirits. There isn't a separate walk in cooler for the latter but much of the selection is stocked into cooler bunkers. The long line up moves quickly and efficiently.

  • Gnomze

This LCBO has a good assortment of wines, liquor, and beer. I would like to have more options for craft beer here, especially given the large number of breweries that are downtown Toronto. The staff are friendly, and always willing to help especially when it comes to the vintage wine section.

  • Andrew Kachaniwsky

Nice LCBO with a very decent size for being in downtown Toronto. Staff are knowledgeable and have been able to assist me in wine selection on more than one occasion. Beer section at the back is fairly large and offers a good variety of local craft beers and the usual more popular brands.

  • Yayopuffy Malabo

The best part of this location is that it's right on the subway, so you can hop off and in of the subway and do a quick shop of you favourite liquor. Doesnt cary a large different variety but it will get you what you might need, I was surprised they Carried my favourite beer. …

  • b m

Avoid this LCBO. I’ve gone here multiple times and had negative experiences each time. Staff are no where to be found. Old blonde lady with spikey hair was so unbelievably rude and walked away from someone as they were asking a question. Train staff on basic customer service.

  • Dreams

How could they make it a big dealfor expired ID seriously I was shocked when husband and I were told we can't buy alcohol because his card was expired and they can't sell to me what does expired ID has to do with anything... I would say we were bullied in this store

  • Leegene Gocon

Female security guard accused my friend of stealing a bottle of alcohol, as soon as she realized it was his phone in his jacket pocket. No apology was given. My group of friends and I were very upset at the way the security approached us as it was very aggressive.

  • Christopher Hollow

Good selection, long lines. Poor layout has you walking through lines that cross over the main road and snake down through the aisles forcing you to have to walk through multiple lines to get your business done. Staff tend to be long-term, fast and efficient.

  • Adam Boroniec-Maslis

This LCBO has a nice selection of single beers as well as packs. They stopped carrying a Czech alcohol because it wasn't moving in the area. Nice staff and helpful people. You get a bit more traffic from university students than other locations

  • David McGuinness

This LCBO seems to be a bit of a hidden gem. It's usually pretty quiet and although it is a bit smaller than some LCBOs it still has a great selection. Their Ontario Craft Beer section is especially impressive. Staff are friendly and courteous.

  • Dan Gaudette

Fine for an LCBO. Only a small section of cold Ontario craft beer, but had others on the shelves. Feels crowded and hard to walk around when there's a few others in the store. If you come in from the street you can only exit through the mall.

  • Chris Levien

Seriously? Who doesn't like booze? The only thing that would give them a negative rating is customer service. But that would be hard to do since they are helpful, have sampling and staff and customers don't have much else to interact with.

  • Nicholas Kalicharan

As soon as I walked in I was followed by a old white lady and eyed down by the rest of the staff most likely because I'm a brown guy wearing a do-rag wearing my cam newton jersey...... Most racist lcbo in Toronto.... Just so disarespectful

  • Cam Slingerland

The LCBO is something Ontarians should be proud of. Even in sketchy areas of the city the stores are clean, staff are knowledgeable and the variety of products impressive. Privately owned stores in the United States can't compare overall.

  • Kevin Eh (he / him / his)

Amazing inventory and staff. I was here last week and Marie offered me some great advice on a new cider. I didn't end up liking it but all my friends thought it was amazing. Thanks for the help Marie and I look forward to going back.

  • Kynan DeSouza

Really tiny and tucked away, but solid selection of most items. What really blew me away was the kind and knowledgable staff who helped with selection, pairings and transactions. Great job guys, love coming here if I'm in the area.

  • Ashley Jung

The store is open but you can’t enter from street level. You should go downstairs through the subway entrance just out front and then go downstairs to cross to the entrance. This store has a big selection and the staff are helpful.

  • TRI

Found the stuff that I was looking for, but it's a small place. Gets crowded and heard a disappointed customer who couldn't find the stuff they were looking for, but customer service person did there 100% to help the customer.

  • sayo. ca

I stopped by getting Japanese sake. Aisian section has 白鶴 Hakutsuru and Korean Soju. It’s quite busy store but cashers are attentive and I didn't wait for so long. 純米吟醸 Junmai Ginjo 300ml $9~ さゆりSAYURI Nigori sake300ml $8~

  • Jade

although it’s a small lcbo, the location is amazing as well as the selection. my cashier was also absolutely lovely, i regret not getting her name. she was super friendly to me and all my friends and we had a nice convo.

  • David Ray

Always bustling. Can get very busy on holidays but the cashiers are pretty quick. Normally always a police officer on site to act as security because this location does boast a fair amount of homeless and troublemakers.

  • Vishnu Rajkumar

Nice location, clean site and decent selection of craft beer and wine. A good selection of European craft beer here like the Duchess du Bourgogne, la trappe and Chimay. Some nice niche Ontario craft beer cans as well

  • T S

It's an astonishingly tiny location with an extremely limited selection, offering few choices for your visit. The confined space constrains options, so be prepared for limited variety during your time.

  • Joel Tax

This is whete you go for wine and spirits in the area. Good basic selection. Check to see if what you want is available by going to LCBO website. If it doesn't show up, other stores are not far away.

  • Afshin Rahimi

A convenient way for people to get their drinks and go to their gathering or home. I just wish that they had longer hours. Sometimes it is really annoying that you cannot find an open LCBO.

  • Stephen P. M.

Nice, large store with great selection and seemingly well stocked on the visit I encountered. Very busy, lots of traffic but staff work super fast at the cash. Clean store. Solid hours.

  • Eric Wong

Overall selection of wines and spirits are excellent. Perhaps it was an off day, but the cashier was not very friendly and roughly handled an expense bottle of champagne. Not impressed.

  • Ian Colthart

Staff verg helpful. Even the onsite security guard helped in searching for additional product as noted on the site and their system. Only 1 bottle though when there was to be three.

  • Amuthan M

This LCBO is small but it is fully stocked with almost all of the various spirits and alcohol you could want. Located in the lower level of Atrium on Bay near the subway entrance.

  • Nero T

This LCBO has a great selection of wine, but a limited beer/craft beer selection. The biggest issue I have with this location see it's hours - it's usually closed in the evening.

  • enan cruz

Very nice and professional security guards especially the Filipino and Indian security guard. Made me feel safe and they operated very organized at the LCBO. 5 star security !

  • C Vu

Nice and clean and a very convenient location in the underground shopping area right outside of College station exit. Not the biggest but big enough for your most common stuff

  • Raven O

Easily accessible, my needed item was stock out with no alternative. Got the other items, but really wanted one that was not available. Good prices and approachable staff.

  • Nick Corona

Selection of liquor is pretty bad. Not a lot of good Bourbons, or cognacs to choose from. Way overstocked on crown Royal and other Canadian whiskeys that seem to not sell.

  • Igor Savchuk

This is a best LCBO in downtown. Small area, but with proper and well selected assorment. Best assortment of beer, good assortment of wine. Helpfull and friendly staff.

  • Lana Tyrras

The LCB under Loblaws on Eglinton has a quality collection of wine and hard liquors, the staff is knowledgeable and courteous, the beer selection is extensive and good.

Good service...and if you are in subway and don’t want to go outside then best place... just get off the subway, buy beer and get in the subway... …

Convenient location, friendly staff. Very congested on a Friday night, which is to be expected. Lots of security too, so don't try and steal anything

  • Aaron Benzaquen

This is a good liquor store however, the selection is limited due to the size of the store. Staff here are knowledgeable, friendly and professional
