I also unfortunately ran into the same "miserable old man" that another 1-star reviewer ran into. As I approached, he looked at me with a smug stare as if i was Tom Hanks in the movie Terminal approaching the border inspection. He accused me of taking the beer Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier from a 6 pack. When I told him that I'm unsure what the scanning issue could be, it's been in stock at Summerhill for a long time, he said "Well, we have ~700 plus stores and many different products in many different stores so yeah". When he unenthusiastically asked me if I would like bags, I was amused by how he physically displayed his distaste for me as a patron by flicking the bags up in the air and angrily placin the bottles into them. We were like North Korean and South Korean DMZ soldiers when I stared at the receipt that he clearly had no intention of putting in the bag. Hey, absolutely awesome selection though! I just think this guy should be putting the beers on the shelves; Perhaps then he would know what comes in a 6 pack and what doesn't Update: I called the store to provide my feedback. They acknowledged my perspective and opinion but informed me that he's amazing at his work, he's been working there for 25 years, and many people have a wonderful pleasant experience with him. The woman stated that some people find him rash, unpleasant, harsh but "that's just part of his personality". There are a fair amount of cash registers so don't let it put you off the store altogther.

Just because they didnt make me come back in after they were so rude the last time I was there. Very liberating too just walk past the store and walk too shoppers drug mart and get what I really needed cough medicine that is half the cost as the same amount of whiskey and does a little better job. I found out later they werent being personally rude too me playing the song "I knew you were trouble when you walked in" by Taylor Swift. Corporate LCBO said they have playlists of popular songs they play at ALL LCBO's so now I am very embarrased for saying they were personally rude too me. But seriously I would suggest taking that song off for listening pleasure. Some may be offended.

All the LCBO stores that I have been to, this Kingsway location the Visual Merchandising Award for the ultimate showcase and unique shopping experience. Following by strategic Forced-Path store layout, customer flow in a clockwork navigation, I was amazed by the pastel pink Rosé wine selection as soon as I walked in. Then it led me to the sublime vintage selection of Rémy Martin Louis, Maccallan, etc - with the right lightning and furniture, it was truly an art museum. Employees were helpful, because I was looking for a bottle of Japanese Plum Wine. Not to mention, there was an old gentleman playing ancient Persian musical instrument outside the store.

Today I visited your store with my friends and the woman who was offering wine tasting was outrageously rude. She kept making sarcastic remarks that I talked to my friend in another language, and basically ruined our evening. I tried to change the subject, but she persisted with her remarks at some point simply talking gibberish and pretending like this was our language. How come a racist person like this can work or offer her services through your store? Can sales associates be first trained before they meet your customers? My friends were planning to buy some wine that she was offering, but because of her behaviour we simply left.

I had a terrible experience at this location. I was waiting in line for 15 minutes to cash out and was next, when a regular to the store cut in front of me, yelled at me when I asked why he cut the line, and the cashier proceeded to process his 90 bottle of wine (no exaggeration) transaction anyway...and then closed the line once he was done and told me to line up elsewhere. When I asked why they allowed him to cut in front of me, they simply told me he comes to the store often and they like him. Really dissapointed because of how large the selection was and how helpful other employees appeared to be.

I had the worst customer service experience i've ever had in canada. One of the lady at their customer service staff asked me and my friend that if we put any liquor bottles in our pockets. Accusing the customer for something so serious without being sure is the worst possible service you can give to the customer. Being in this pandemic time didn't allowed me to talk to their manager or get to know the name of the lady as she was not even courteous enough to talk to us properly. I have been to many LCBO's but this was the worst experience ever.

  • Lea

This is the only lcbo I've ever been to where there are multiple lines behind the cash, not nice to get yelled at by multiple employees at once telling me to go to any line when it hasn't been that way for ages in any lcbo. Customer service training is needed here, the employees are here every day, customers are not, you can't expect them all to instantly grasp this kind of change when many other lcbos still follow 1 line up to cash. 1 lady was exceptionally rude, maybe she should be the line manager acting the way she was

  • Francisco Peralta

All in all, a good experience. Line outside the store is well spaced. Inside everything is well marked, though not everyone respect the circulation arrows, not even all the employees. The products are good and much variety is to be found. The major problem I see is the lack of proper signaling that help find what you are looking for without having to pop your head in every isle. Cashiers work fast and are very polite. You can take their shopping carts to your car if you promise to return them.

  • Melanius McBain

Item pricing is not updated if you aren't attentive You WILL GET charged the regular price So CHECK THAT BILL before u leave Coz the supe/ manager attending to you will be busy in conversation wz the next customer and not applogize for the blunder. Well what do you know I happened to go again today, I'm doubtful of visiting this branch again. I can't say for certain if the staff are professionally trained or just so involved in sampling drinks to ignore customers

  • Jonathan Marchesan

Sabrina & Brian were great. Sabrina helped me find all the wines and whisky that I was looking for in under two minutes and was super knowledable and polite. Bryan was super couteous and professional when answering all my questions I had about wines as well. Both very knowledgable and I always Love the selction this LCBO has over other nearby stores. Best LCBO in the area hands down! 5 stars for service and 5 stars for selection.

  • Giulio Moro

This is yet another hidden gem of an LCBO with a very long list of fine choices for every possible person you can imagine. Their extensive slection of products will make you spending a lot of time inside this store stocking-up and getting gifts for friends, family and cowokers that will be pleasantly surprised with your newly found treatures that many times are not seen in other LCBO stores.

  • joanna E

There was a tall brunette that worked here that was such a sweet person. This store is stocked well! Lots of high end things go on sale here, similar to the location on queens Quay by the water but that one is huge and they also have the largest selection of vintage wines so that place can't really be beat but the customer service at this west end place is better.

  • Mike Salter

This is an outstanding LCBO store. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the customer service is great. The bright, open layout of the store is excellent and everything is very easy to find. The vintages section has a very wide selection of excellent wines and spirits. With the large walk-in beer fridge there is always a terrific selection on ice.

  • Michæl Dolega

perhaps the best lcbo in the province as far as selection, convenience, and customer service is concerned... Giorgio has been there forever (no disrespect my friend) and has always made everyone feel welcome and like a VIP... amazing atmosphere and the staff is helpful beyond words... thanks guys... appreciate you stocking the Angry Orchard cider... Store is a nice size. Lots of variety. Vintages section is decent. However, the few times that we've been to this location and go to the tasting bar, we either having to find somebody to help us, or no one helps at all. I'm not sure if that's a product of understaffing, or employees not paying attention to customers in the store.

  • Jason

Great selection of beer and wine. Always have a great selection of Collective Arts, and ordering online is great. But why do you have an employee who refuses to wear a mask in a pandemic? If you are asking for a mask over mouth and nose to the customers then you should apply this expectation on staff. A face shield is not a mask.

  • Land Analysis

One of the best selections in Toronto. This location has refrigerated beer sales area so you may want to grab a hoodie even in the summer if you want to browse instead of just grab-and-go. There is free parking at the store and tons of municipal paid parking at the back if you happen to be there during busy time.

  • Crafty Cuisine

This location at Royal York and Bloor is very well stocked. Staff are knowledgeable, and if something is missing from the shelf, just ask, and they will bring it out if its in the back. They have a very large wine selection in the back. Very convenient location right outside of the subway (back entrance).

  • James Vrolyk

Quick walk from Runnymede station for commuters. This is a well managed liquor store with a walk in beer section including a great selection of Craft beer as well as all the big brands. Also a small vintages shelf and VQA aisle for the wine drinkers. Hard liquor is well represented too.

  • Randall

Great selection especially the wines. But most else still has an excellent selection. Signs for some things were not correct . For instance I was looking for Irish whiskey and it was on the bottom shelf of American whiskey. Could be better. Service at the checkout was very good as well.

  • Ravi Mohan

One of (if not) the best LCBOs in the GTA. We'll trained, friendly staff, always willing to help. Excellent vintages section and lots of tastings/events. Try Joe's picks, they are always on the money! Plenty of parking, steps from the subway. Located in the heart of Kingsway village.

  • Sue Kennis

On average it's a good place to stop on my way to my bf. Today was a different story. I was tracked by security I feel because maybe of my backpack;but its ok different than every other time I have walked in that location. I'm not a shady customer. There was no reason for it. …

  • Terry Michaels

Excellent LCBO at Royal York and Bloor containing an extensive vintages section with a tasters' wine bar. Staff are numerous and most willing to help whether you are searching for either a beer, spirit, or wine product. Wonderful place to drop by and review the diversity of product.

  • Chris De Shane

This is one of the better LCBO locations in the city. It is quite large and has a large vintages and beer sections as well as a tasting bar. The staff I have met are all extremely helpful, including carrying my box of booze to my car when I was there with my one year old.

  • Jonathon C

This LCBO has a great selection across the board. Lots of vintage wine, a big walk-in beer fridge (with plenty of hard to find craft options) and their liquor section isn't too bad either. I was surprised to find a few bourbon that I've had trouble getting my hands on.

  • Noel Kent

Top notch LCBO with a huge selection and very large, predominantly french, vintages section. Service is amazing, staff are very helpful and friendly always willing to help carry out your vino. Georgio is a lengend here and everyone who goes here regularly knows him!

  • Ryan Patrick KEOGH

This is a great LCBO for its selection, especially wines. Customer service is the best (Georgio) and the have a large walk in beer/cider fridge as well as cases of chilled white wine products. The paired this LCBO beautifully into the surrounding neighborhood.

  • Sonny H

As far as LCBO's go, I have to say this is the best one I've ever been to. The selection for anything is amazing. Huge beer selection, huge wine selection...both mainstream and vintage, huge liquor selection. Friendly and helpful staff - Georgio is great!

  • Em

Decent selection but they get everything later than other locations do and there is one miserable old man cashier who is the rudest person I have ever had to deal with. He has absolutely no business being in customer service with an attitude like that.

  • Debra McLennan

A shout out and a big thank you to the manager for keeping us entertained and updated best he could as we waited patiently for our Covid kits. Just another fine example of how this store is the best in the city! Merry Christmas to you and the staff!

  • Sue Robinson

Went to buy a mix for sangria. They had our brand. Great for a small store. Very knowledgeable staff. Go out of their way for you to find what you are looking for or have recommendations for queries. Clean bright store. Very organized. Well stocked.

  • rajeshree chauhan

Not very big LCBO when talking about space. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. I wanted to get a California Rosè, but they did not had that in stock, so bought Carlo Rosié instead. The area was clean and has enough parking area as well!

  • Terry

Organized layout and bottle arrangement. Helpful staff that will even assist in locating even small quantities. For large orders, they will assist in loading your vehicle nearby. I will return for VIP service like this for all my large orders

  • HH Kim

Service in Vintages section often lacking. During my last visit, one person was busy opening bottles for a tasting and another was on the phone, clearly engrossed in a personal phone call. I walked around for about 15 minutes and left.

  • Rita “Riorita”

Very un-staffed. 2 cashiers 1 staff in the beer hall...lots of empty shelves ..good product sample person at main door ...and a huge street fest outside so busy I could use a job but they said their hours have been cut!!

  • RN MS

Great selection of beers and specifically Spanish wine. Very knowledgeable staff and a wine tasting area in the back of the store. The vintage section is also very good with a strong selection at various price points.

  • Wall-E

Was on the hunt for a few bottles of good wine for Christmas gifts. the staff were super helpful in not only showing us some but also taking the time to listen and answer questions as well. Great customer service.

  • Jesse Wood

Covid visit around 1pm. Medium short line, moved quickly. Fair variety of sherry (purpose of my visit) and interesting whisky selection as well (secondary purpose). Note for post covid: they have a tasting bar.

  • joe hamper

Stock low, couldnt get the size of bottle i was looking for. Cashier was inept and seemed severly drunk, took 5 minutes to put a bottle in a bag. He than marked something on his computer saying I was drunk.

  • Jose Bustillos

This LCBO was great, all staff members were extremely helpful and very patient when asked about bottles that I didn't know their loaction. Would recommend it to anyone that wants excellent customer service.

  • Chris Payne

Holy Chilean wine selection! Massive vintages section with a ton of helpful staff. A large cold beer room with a ton of deep cut selections from all over the map. Excited this is in walking distance!

  • N F

Overall good store. Friendly staff. Well stocked. Particularly good for those who live in the area. Great if you can walk there. Only a few paid parking spots around the store. No free parking areas.

  • Gursimran Ghai

No doubt the selection is good. Service on the other hand, is a mixed bag of nuts. Andrew was great and very helpful with lock up items. After that, it goes downhill, one of the older ladies

  • Jason Crowe

My go-to store - large Vintages section (ask for Joe), beer cooler and an exclusive selection of Spanish Wines. I've tried some incredible Riojas that aren't available anywhere else.

  • Shawn C

One of the best locations in Etobicoke. Good selection, friendly staff, easy parking. This location also usually gets allocated some of the hard to find limited releases in the city.

  • Jon Lee

Went to the wine section and spoke with Adara and tried some great samples. She was very knowledgeable, professional and experienced in various wines offered at this location.

  • Vince Poil

This location is a bit of a TARDIS. I’m always surprised how big it is on the inside. Very good variety and selection, but I do find stock levels to be a little low sometimes.

  • Carlo Franco

This location tends to carry a wider selection of wines, beers, and alcohol. Their employees are also very helpful when I needed assistance locating wines in their inventory.

  • Eve Brouwers

What can I say... this is one of the best locations and it has an excellent Vintages section. Ask for Joe and he'll get you the best wine for whatever you're trying to pair.

  • Michael Krauss

Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly staff. Many things I like to drink in stock. Price are still monopolisticly and unnecessarily too high when compared to other jurisdictions.

  • Taylor Bey

One of the nicer LCBO's in the city. Phenomenal wine selection, vintages; VQA's and a great craft and imported beer selection. The tasting room really sets the bar high.

  • David Reyes

Mr Georgio is the man who leads. Unfortunately he doesn't remember daily customers. Store is clean, but if you don't dress well, you're non existent in this store.

  • Steve Power

Terrific selection of beers, wines and liquors a great shopping experience, special mention about Wanda who did and an exceptional job assisting me during my visit
