Update: Changed review because of horrible experience with delivery. Sales staff does not care to hear about it so I will provide them feedback here. This company has HORRIBLE problems with scheduling and preparing the order for delivery. First, they notified me of the delivery window several days beforehand. I arranged my schedule accordingly. Less than two hours before the delivery window, they sent a text pushing it by two hours. I called to complain and the manager rescheduled me. When they arrived, they were missing one item and a part to another piece of furniture. The manager promised someone would be here before 10 AM the next day with the missing parts. When no one arrived, I called, and the staff did not know anything about it, so I had to reschedule again. In addition, the bookshelf came unassembled. The guys did an excellent job putting it together but their manager called to complain about how long it was taking them when it was HIS fault for not ensuring it was assembled before loading it on the truck or making sure ample time was scheduled for the delivery team to assemble it. I am happy with their delivery and setup guys, but this company has no clue how to schedule and ensure the right furniture is loaded. I have spent hours trying to get it right. I still recommend Kleimer, but I can't recommend anyone else. I wish I could select more stars to represent how happy I am with the design services. Kleimer Quintero is a top notch designer. He listens to what you want and finds the perfect solutions. Not only can he find the right products, but his color sense is excellent. Besides He finding tge perfect furniture, he found fabrics and rugs that worked perfectly with my existing color scheme and budget. Don't hesitate to get in touch. You will be happy with the results.

First time Lazy Boy purchase. I didn't know anything about the brand until yesterday. After being fed up with Ashley Home Store promising delivery on a couch we purchased 6 months ago, we got refunded and started shopping again. Stopped in Lazy Boy and immediately found a couch we liked. SAMMY explained everything about the couch and how Lazy Boy is different than other brands. They are all American made with specific hard wood frames and patented jointing and hardware. The fabric and structure of each piece is stress tested before manufacturing. They guarantee the frame and springs throughout for the lifetime of the couch. I couldn't believe the furniture is made to be taken apart and serviced/repaired if needed. What other furniture store operates like this? Sammy went from a delivery driver to service/repair tech, then salesman. That in itself says something about the company. He built out the couch we wanted on paper and priced everything out and explained different options and even opened up the couch we were looking at and showed us how it's made. Now instead of wondering if Ashley Furniture will actually deliver our cheap couch in the next 6 months we are getting our lifetime couch delivered and set up in 3 days.

I highly recommend you not buy furniture from La-Z-Boy Furniture in Albuquerque. I purchased a set of furniture from the Westside store in May and waited until October for delivery. That was okay but when the furniture finally arrived, all but one piece was not what I ordered. Then I was told that the model of sofa I wanted is discontinued. I returned everything that was delivered and after the La-Z-Boy Westside manager tried to sell me other items that didn’t work for us, we decided to cancel the order and be credited our deposit. That was almost two weeks ago. I waited five days for credit of my account before attempting to contact the manager and leaving messages for a callback without success. Friday I went to the branch and talked to the vice president of both Albuquerque stores and once again requested a credit for my deposit. The credit was submitted and four days later still no money in my account. Me and my family are totally disappointed with this experience at La-Z-Boy and will never step foot in another one of their stores ever again. Be warned, your business isn’t that important to La-Z-Boy.

We recently ordered two chairs and waited for them patiently but when the chairs arrived we were very disappointed. One was delivered in November and the cushion on the bottom of the chair has already flattened out and the arms are starting to wither. The latest chair was delivered about a month ago and once again we were dissatisfied, it has a chip in the leg that was there at delivery, it makes a binding noise when it swivels(it’s a swivel chair), the beading on the edge of the chair is hanging down at the bottom, the material on the corner of the arm rest is coming up, and the seat cushion in this chair is lumpy and uncomfortable. Also we had purchased a lamp and when it arrived it was damaged. The assistant manager said he would have it replaced and the manager said they would not. I’ve had a hard time getting a hold of anyone who can resolve these issues and am quite frustrated at this point. When you think of lazy boy you think of quality not quantity and it seems like they are more focused on having customers pay for mediocre product.

Fantastic experience!!!! I had been very undecided about replacing all the furniture in my livingroom and bedroom for the lack of guidance. I was passing by Lazy Boy, 60 miles from my home, and decided just to look. Little did I know I would be greeted by Samuel Vargas, Assistant Sales Manager, who introduced me to Kleimer Rambao Quintero, a highly educated interior designer who also has a BA in Architecture. These two gentlemen are professional and very knowledgeable. Kleimer designed the most beautiful arrangement for my two rooms, that I would have never been able to do. He even recommended a paint color for my walls. He is highly educated in this area and it shows. They are kind, patient, and a true joy to work with. I ordered all the livingroom furniture, Yay!, and Kleimer is working on a few tweaks for the bedroom per a request I had. I highly recommend!

I used the Free Design Services offered by La-Z-Boy to design my living room space for my first home. I was expecting a 10 min visit where they recommended a few pieces and went on their way, but the process was way more involved. Kleimer and Samuel came to my house to take measurements and listen to my vague thoughts about colors and ideas for the space. The product they delivered was a 3D model inside a 39 page PDF that they presented to me. I was extremely impressed with the thoroughness and creativity and how well he incorporated what I was going for. The room looks like it belongs in a magazine. I ended up purchasing a majority of what they suggested, minus a few accessories, the aesthetic of which could probably be achieved with cheaper alternatives. But Sam and Kleimer were both very kind and personable and made the entire experience a lot of fun

The⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review is for the Rio Ranch store: Anita was heaven sent. She knows the product and showed me numerous items that helped me to solidify my choice. Anita answered all my questions and backed answers up with demonstrations. All this while helping 2 other people. Thank you Anita! I eagerly await my chair & a half. My review on the San Mateo store is ⭐⭐ & a half star The staff at the San Mateo store could use some training. I went in the San Mateo store several times (at least 3) and I never felt heard nor given the "extra" to help me decide on an item. The representative was just interested in writing up the sale. Perhaps she was new to sales & La-z-boy. All I know is I needed more and thankfully found that in Anita in Rio Rancho.

Purchased several pieces of furniture and a couple of lamps during President’s Day sale. Very impressed with the quality of the furniture and the customer service. Ran into a minor glitch that could have escalated into an irritating problem with the lamps. Our salesperson (Samuel Vargas) was off the day we went in to address the issue. John Delleney jumped in and resolved issue quickly for us. My husband and I were impressed with both John and Samuel’s assistance, knowledge and suggestions. After furniture shopping during COVID times this was such a refreshing change. I felt the focus of theses two men were on the needs of my husband and myself vs the daily sales. I highly recommend both these two gentlemen and the store.

You will love the chair but you will be disappointed when it falls apart. The salesman will repeat 1000 times lifetime warranty on the mechanism but they won’t tell you is that labor is not covered and they charge $125 an hour to work on a chair which when compared to dealer rates for automobiles at $140 an hour makes no sense at all. Very frustrated that the chair screws are falling out which ruined the Pawl mechanism and ratchet And now I am looking at one to two hours of labor even though the parts may be free so $250 to fix a chair that cost me $1500 a year ago.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE! I don't know if all lazboy locations lie. But this one does. I spent $10,000 on a sectional sofa. They knew I lived 300 miles away and I paid $500 for delivery. They sold me on the great warranty and said if anything happened someone would come to my home and repair it. The back has been loose since it was delivered on one chaise lounge. They will repair IF I DRIVE IT TO ALBUQUERQUE AND GO BACK AND PICK IT UP. 600 mile round trip. This is essentially fraud and a scam. Buy 2 from Ashley because Lazboy DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS.

This is a review on the completion of a job well done. My Sales Associate, Anita Baca and Designer, Kleimer Quintero followed through with the completion of the job upon delivery. They were there to be sure all items were placed as designed. They even dusted the items needing it. It is a beautifully designed space. Anita kept me abreast of the progress on the order. This was greatly appreciated. I am thoroughly happy with the job done by both Anita and Kleimer. La-Z-Boy in Albuquerque on Ellison should be very proud of both Anita and Kleimer on a job well done!

Paula Sandoval was fantastic! I needed help with finding a comfortable chair that will fit my needs and an end table and coffee table. I found the perfect tables in the color I love. Plus she helped me find the perfect chair! I can't wait to receive it! I will receive my tables in a week but will need to wait for my chair since it is a special order and will take 6 to 8 weeks. I had a lot of questions on the care of my chair and discussed with her on my colors that will work with my existing furniture. Excellent representative for Lazy Boy! Thanks Paula!

We have had several La-z-boy recliners in the past so I pretty much knew what I wanted. Our Salesperson, Anita was very helpful. I told her what I wanted and she found me 4 immediately to pick from. The only thing was the one I wanted was only available on the floor with no warehouse backup. She made a phone call and got permission to sell it to me anyway. She found me the perfect chair.. I was very pleased... plus they had a great sale and it was a great price. Thank you Anita! Me and my dog fit perfectly in our new chair. Merry Christmas!

We had a great experience at our local store. We were looking for a replacement recliner for my husband. Our salesman, Carlos, listened carefully to what my husband said he was looking for in a new recliner. Carlos was able to pick out a number of chairs for him to try out. Then he was able to narrow down the selection to what was in stock for (almost) immediate delivery. My husband was so happy with his new chair! I had been buying the same type of lazy boy for over 10 years. The salesman was very patient with me and we walked through almost all the chairs in the store, until I finally decided to buy a new “style” of La Z Boy. When you go in, take your time and find the exact style, the exact look and the exact functionality you want. After spending hours choosing furniture and agreeing to financing terms and ordering our furniture, we get a call advising that the terms we agreed to had to be changed (not in our favor). We do not appreciate the bait and switch. Then they said that they had not received our new paperwork despite our sending it to them. Their inability to pay attention added another 8 days to our order being placed and delayed the delivery of our furniture. Hope the furniture is better than their customer service.

We chose to buy our new living room recliners from La-Z-Boy because we could each get the type of chair we wanted but in the same material. We were also able to find a material that almost perfectly matches our couch so that made us happy. The salesman was patient with me because I was indecisive on which model of chair I wanted, there is such a vast selection. Finally, even though we placed a custom order we still received the President’s Day discount price, which was terrific.

Mary Beth was the perfect associate! Super helpful, but not at all pushy (which would've instantly driven me away). Really liked working with her. Felt like I got a fair deal. Delivery charge seemed way too steep, though. It was 12% of the purchase price, for a single one-piece couch! Also thought the lead time for custom fabric, etc, was too long. But none of that is her fault. Liked the store, the products, and the experience. Very likely will be back.

Not the quality I was expecting. We we got rid of a 16-year-old lazy boy that performed perfectly the entire life in exchange for a brand new La-Z-Boy that has much lower build quality. It is uncomfortable and won’t allow you sit up while your legs are deployed. The return and exchange policy make this a bad deal for customers. The staff was excellent!

I purchased a lazy boy recliner on 12/17/2022. It broke in February of 2023. Lazy boy charged the person I bought it for 100.00 to come out and look at it and replaced a defective part. I have tried to resolve this matter with the operations manager by letter and by phone. Never got a response. Count me out as a lazy boy customer

I ordered two chairs with remote controls. When the chairs arrived two months later only one had a remote. Salesperson error. The manager told me I’d have to return one chair and wait an additional two months for a replacement. No apologies….and somewhat rude. It wasn’t worth the hassle or wait. Bad customer service for a chain.

Hassan was absolutely wonderful to work with. He answered all of our questions with great knowledge of the recliners that we looked at. Really appreciated that he did not try to sell us a recliner that cost more. If he had it would have been a big turn-off. We consider him a friend after working with him. Many kudos to Hassan.

Love the product, hate the service! Had to wait several weeks for a service tech to come out (who misdiagnosed the problem), then several more weeks to wait for the part to come in and then for it to be installed. Meanwhile, the recliner was unusable for 2-3 months. Will never buy La-Z-Boy again.

I’m reducing rating. When called for a service using the “lifetime warranty “ there’s a $50 charge. That’s not a warranty, that’s a charge for repairs.
