A sad and sorry state of a once great public park. The cricket clubhouse is completely gutted and abandoned and has a homeless person staying in amongst the dilapidated building - see my attached photo. The rugby club building is finished. The fields are overgrown and general mess. Trash is all over the place. Fences have fallen down and not been put back up. I didn't see the tennis courts. A great place to get drunk, do burnouts in your car and throw trash around and risk your life with the riff raff that is all over the place. Avoid.

I would love to give this a 5* because it truly has the potential to be something beautiful. But it is full of litter and the gardens are overgrown and not maintained at all. Very sad to see what it has become since the ANC took over the area. But the potential is there.

What was once a thriving sports center has now fallen into a deplorable state though not all is ruined. This home to Pinetown Gymnastics which is very much active but in need to much needed upgrade. I’ve experienced hot summers just sitting

1 star unfortunately can't go less .It's not what it use to be when I was a young kid learning how to play sport and training use to be safe and clean well maintained .I crossed through the park to go to the shops no worries .

  • Mzingisi Radebe

Open space with enough space for friends and family to sit back relax and enjoy family reunion.variety of play grounds, ideal for training ones self in an area full of oxygen and space for gym

The park itself looks dangerous. Not that safe and when there is a party of some sort, there are beer bottles everywhere and loud music. It's a bit of a peace disturbance.

  • Theresa Mjenge

More lights required for field runners since its winter and the sun rises late. Saw one or two dangerous holes. Grass is well maintained and park is clean.

  • Carol Budge

The Lahee Park swimming Pool. Is still closed. On the Covid 19 list it said swimming pools would be open. It is so hot and we would like to swim.

  • Winsome Backe-Hansen

While we were out running, a friends car was broken into and items stolen. Lighting was poor and pavements uneven so people tripped and fell.

  • Khethelo Zwane

It a great park but with very little safety measures. There are no lights, 1 security for a large site. Amaphara they walk around freely.

  • Zakhir Hassain

The cricket facilities were spot on. There were also me football matches taking place as well but I didn't see all the facilities.

  • Sandile Ntombela
