I always go here. My favorite shopping center to visit the dollar store. It's always filled with middle aged to elderly ladies who are really nice. There is always parking, and buncha dogs around. I took off one star because Soup or Salad still exists. Heh heh just kidding, I love going in there because it makes me feel like I'm in the 90s again. Nothing about Soup or Salad has changed in 20 years, its eerie. The pet store is lame, asked them if they had frozen mice (snake food) and they looked at me like I was crazy. Ok dude, yall are so cool. Real reason I took off a star is cause there is always transients hanging around, but they dont ask for money, but they let their dirty dogs sit around in the way. Leaving the parking lot I wouldn't use that victory side street, it gets pretty backed up, I exit instead onto ben white and if I'm going east I use the turn around, it's easier than waiting at victory for the light

I've been shopping here since I was a kid in the 1980s (before the overpass and when Jim's restaurant was in the front parking lot). Panteras pizza used to be where "play it again" sports is now. They bought a "Panteras" full-size hot air balloon to fly around Austin, but it crashed on a light pole at Burger center. Chuck E Cheese started one of their early locations at the end closer to lamar in the 80s, eventually pushing Panteras out. They blasted Barry Manalow in the parking sidewalk in the 90s to keep skaters away. Now those skaters are lawyers and small biz owners that would probably enjoy some Barry Manalow selections.

A convenient little shopping area. I mainly go to the Target, Wheatsville, and dollar store. A word of caution, drive carefully. For some reason people drive kind of erratically here so just be on the lookout for drivers cutting across the parking lots. The Wheatsville co-op has some unique offerings but it's a bit pricey. Sometimes I go to the Sprouts grocery across the street on South Lamar for the basics, and then get a few specialty items at Wheatsville. Overall, this plaza is a nice option to get the basics and it doesn't get overly crowded.

Nice little corner of South Austin. Azul Tequila is an excellent Mexican restaurant. Think more interior Mexican and Santa Fe than Tex-Mex. Order a drink with Tequila, you'll be glad you did. Dong Nai has excellent Vietnamese noodle bowls. Chinese fare also. There's a Target and a Strait Music. Reeds and band instruments. Around the corner is a Harbor Freight for your cheap, I'll only need it once or twice type tools. Tomlinson's Feed and Twin Liquors. Look it up: Lake Hills Plaza.

It's fairly easy to arrive at this shopping center via many bus routes. This is directly in front of the Westgate Transit station. The little gift shop has so many wares, but beware no bags are allowed in if traveling by bus. The Coop has some of the best cookies, and the Twin Liquor is one of the nicests in south Austin. Very well kept and easy to walk through on foot from front to back.

This shopping center, which has a Target store as anchor, is home to several good shops. There is a large gift store with booths from numerous vendors, a shop that resells sports equipment, a good Asian restaurant, and more. But I go there becausenm it is the location of the cleanest and best Dollar Tree in Austin. Love Dollar Tree stores!!!!

  • Alma F

I went to Tomlinson's Feed store to get my fox terrier/Chihuahua dog low fat food! Apparently quarantine has affect her weight! I only do organic food for her so I knew this was the place to go to! The sales associate was very knowledgeable on what product to get and how to introduce it to my dog. Highly recommend this place!

The plaza has a Target, which is all I need to give it 5 stars. There's also a Harbor Freight and a Savers behind it, accessible thru the parking lot, though I'm not sure they're considered part of Lakeshore Plaza. There's lots of parking here, and it's a comfortable place to meet people for inexpensive craigslist transactions.

  • Aiyanna Martinez

I so badly want to give this place 5/5 stars but I had such a mixed experience here.... on one hand my poor waiter was over worked and obviously was assigned way more tables than he could handle... but on the other hand the food was so freaking delicious, and the drinks were perfect... just took a while to get them both …

  • samuel walbert

I give this 2 stars because of the service provided was good . Unfortunately the food was not very good . I order orange chicken and it was definitely General tso chicken not orange , the rice was over cooked and chalky the pad tai was not appealing too look at or good at all . The appetizers, though were preaty good …

it's got a little bit of everything I could need and or want. Super Salads, Sprint oh and by the way Sprint is a total top off I had it for a short time one line and it was steadily increasing above 100 $ .Ok back to Lake Hill's a pet store and to top it off a pretty nice Target.

  • Sean McGuire

A variety of great shops. Target, Dollar tree, play it again sports, Austin gift shop, Tomlinson's, harbor freight, wheatsville, Goodwill, twin liquors, etc etc etc. Lots of decent restaurants as well, such as song nai and tequila Azul..... Something for everyone!

  • Carolyn Clark (Carolyn Montgomery-Clark)

Loud, crowded, tables were to close to each other and it is hard to have a conversation with your friends. Staff was very professional , pleasant and very helpful. Food is ok, however, im a coastal girl who has had the best fresh seafood in culf for 50 yrs!

  • Ej Kelly

This place is chaos, parking is a nightmare, too many speedbumps in odd places. In addition there are regularly homeless groups which occupy the area and come over to harass people coming and going from their vehicles (also no security to

This is a pretty decent shopping center. The Pho that Dong Nai offers is divine. There's a Target here, which is convenient for all things you shop at Target for. The music store is awesome for all your musical instrument or lesson needs!

  • Kathleen Johnson

Ran into Target for a few things. On impulse, we bought a large wall clock. Got home and it was wayyyy too big. Returned it next day. No line at Customer service desk. Easy return process. Found another wall clock that looks great!

  • AJ W

Not too much to review. We were visiting Austin when the weather was crazy and staying at the Omni and wanted to play games ..so we ran to Target to see what games we'd get.....we didnt find anything we wanted. But store was clean!

  • Xela9

Nice shopping center. I usually come here to go to Teacher Heaven and/or Target. The parking lot is well maintained and easy to navigate. They also have the only Music store/school I know of - Strait Music Company.

  • Eduardo Martinez

Lots of great shopping in this small plaza. You can get your dog food at Tomlinsons, go shopping at Target, pick up gifts at the gift shop store and even get a haircut at Cost Cutters. Highly recommend you stop by.

  • GrandPa G

The mall needs help. I went there to find the James Avery only to learn that it was inside of Dillard's. I was not impressed with the mall at all in fact, I did not think the James Avery would even be in that mall

Eh, its a shopping mall, I needed some stuff. They're usually a little chaotic now that Austin is being referred to as a "Boomtown." How long until the next recession happens? (LOL just cracking jokes).

  • David White

Well, I went to the Target there, to get some eye drops, ended up staying, and shopping for at least an hour, the store is huge, carries everything, real easy to get caught up in shopping spirit.

  • Vert

From San Antonio, and this place was a bit rough for me. I've actually never been in a target as rough as this one! The electronics department appeared as if it had been ransacked!

  • Shirley Evans-James

As a person with a disability, there aren't enough handicap parking spaces with ramps in front of stores. But I do enjoy going to lLakehills Plaza for the many stores in one place.

  • AngelJane Wiser

Lake hills is an Austin original. The companies sometimes change but the area is well maintained and clean. A few good eateries and a Goodwill store too. Plus others! Excellent!!

  • Jennifer Limon

A wonderful spot to stop and for coffee or clothes. My most purchase item here are childrens clothing. They fit my children comfortably and are of good quality material.

  • Michael Sarahan

Very good Cajun food and great service. Inordinate showing off support for concealed carry at the front door, but it that doesn't scare you off, it's a great place.

  • Danielle Gonzales

Massive lot connected with Target and other shops. There seemed to be a lot of homeless people hanging out here and narrow lanes through the parking lot so beware.

  • Carlo Maples

It's got target which is epic! It also has play it again sports! The rest are stores I will never visit or are crusty as heck. But target alone is a deal maker.

  • Daniel M Hernandez

I did not mind the traffic but the parking was not very user friendly. But I got around it and I had an okay experience. It was just a very very hot day LOL
