Staying away from now on because they put this sticker on my car window that I still haven’t completely removed all the residue from. We’ve always parked on the roof and there was nothing telling us not to. If it had been taped off or there was any signs to indicate the top floor was closed, I fully would have respected that. But instead we got back from our movie to find this sticker placed on our car window threatening to tow us next time. We spoke to the security employees responsible for the sticker and asked why we weren’t informed in some less destructive way, like a sign. Or just a non-sticky note. They said “That’s why we’re here.” Not super helpful or acceptable. There’s closer Drafthouses we can go to instead. I won’t be back. Not worth the risk of getting towed for something nobody told me not to do.

Where do I even begin. This place is amazing. The service is astonishing along with the whole concept of it all. I love being able to watch great movies while eating great food. Also, the menu has a huge variety which is surprising considering it's a theater. The food is delicious. Also, the previews shown before the movies are very unique and show historical content(not too historic don't worry) that relate to the movie. The whole process is super easy as well. I would highly recommend. It's my favorite theater.

Went to TLC for lunch and it was amazing! It great for friends and family. The food was so good! I got the red snapper and the flavor was amazing! I also got fried pickles, green beans, gumbo for my parents who raved about it, salad for my daughter, and a kids meal for my 2yo. The dessert peach cobbler was awesome. The games inside and outside are fun. And the bar has so much to choose from on tap, especially! The Alamo movie theatre is next door. Big parking garage to keep your car cool.

I wish restaurants could afford the rent here. The turnover rate is ridiculous. I'm hopeful TLC survives... They seem to be doing well. Delicious didn't make it, and I'm not surprised. Their food prices were over the top, probably to cover the astronomical rent. Also I see the owners prefer to have vacated shops than lower their rent. Not sure this complex will ever have an organic vibe ... Still I'm thankful for Medici, TLC, the Alamo, Highball, etc.

My roommate, dog and I all love living here. Our move in experience was great and Mike (leasing) was incredibly helpful. Because of COVID we had a limited view prior to signing but as soon as we had our keys in hand, Mike made us feel right at home. He took the time to show us his favorite parts of the community and ensured that our apartment met our expectations! Be sure to ask for Mike, he will guarantee a great experience!

I've come here several years for a film festival, spending a week in the area each time. There is little need to travel once you're here as there are great places to eat, relax and watch movies on site. The local residents accept the mass of people that come in stride and I have never had anything but friendly conversations with them.

Nice little place shopping area, this is a mixed use development with shops on the bottom and housing on top. There is parking available, usually seems fill but I've always found a spot. There is an Alamo Drafthouse here that draws a large crowd and a few restaurant's and shops. You can walk around a bit while waiting for your movie.

There are some cool things to do here I guess. I always find myself underwhelmed by the restaurants except for the bill. Of course there's the Alamo but the older I get the less tolerant I am to the lecturing geek punishment culture that they have over there. The condos are annoying. I'd say tear it down except for the shake shack.

Cute little apartment complex on South Lamar with some shops to check out, lick ice cream, some great food spots, a salon, Orange theory, and juice place. The highball is also a pretty cool little bar that has great live music most nights. And of course, the Alamo! Plenty of free retail parking for anything in this complex.

  • Jonvolca Man

The High Ball bar and the Alamo Drafthouse was the best. There were celebrities, movie directors, and lots of aspiring young artists. They also had a live show and an awesome DJ who knew what he was doing. No stuck ups and even the young folks were super cool. Great option for those trying to avoid downtown.

  • K Sprad

Great little place for ice cream or a movie, parking in the garage was a little confusing as it said non resident parking and if you go down a level there is a gate where you have to be a resident to get in. We were trapped in with 2 cars behind us, they didn't have proper signage to guide us so be carel.

It is a good burger but it is way too expensive for said burger. Another issue I have is that all the menu items are a la carte so if you want a burger, fries, and drink you have to buy them all separately which means that your meal gets costly quick. I'm sorry to say but this just is not a good value.

Nice folks. Cashier jacked up my order, but the manager got it straight. The problem was that my part of the order came out late, which was well after everyone else in my group had finished. Nothing over the top, but for six people, it was expensive to have so many mistakes made on the orders.

  • Estefan Ximenes

Really nice shopping center to hang out at. The parking garages makes visiting the shops alot more convenient. Great shops to eat and drink out for the night. It goes without saying the Drafthouse is one of the main reasons to come out here but this shopping center has more to offer.

  • Kasey Crick

Great area with shops and restaurants. Great atmosphere to have some drinks and enjoy a date night. Went to a ramen house (forgot name) but it was super delicious. Then walked to shake shack and had a shake. Cool little neighborhood to check out if you are in the area.

  • Frank Headman

Alamo drafthouse is great and a good selection of restaurants. Tiny pie co and the Thai place are great. A fun stop on S. Lamar if you’re from out of town. The highball bar attached to alamo will have some interesting themes nights as well.

  • sparksnsmoke

My favorite places to visit in here are Shake Shak and Alamo Drafthouse. I feel the lack of easy parking (garage shared with residents) means I don't just pop in on a whim. I also miss the old businesses in this complex before it got fancy.

  • Erin Ruthven

Hard to park woth an extra tall vehicle. We have to get lucky. I have a van because of disability and if I can't get one of the two allotted street spots it's extremely inconvenient. Alamo Drafthouse is why it still gets 3 stars.

  • Samuel Lancaster

It's in a really convenient location. Close to downtown. I was staying in an apartment close to the drafthouse which basically always had people outside, but it wasn't loud. Apartments are really nice. You get tons of amenities.

  • Tony Lopez

It's a nice place to watch a movie is you don't mind the servers walking in front of you. It could definitely use done renovation because it even smells old. Don't know why the didn't do it when they built the complex around it.

  • John Hardt

Always a great time when we come to this location. Convenient, and lots of fun. Everyone in this area so friendly and so helpful I love it and I will definitely be back in recommending this place to all of my friends and family.

  • Robert Eaton

One of the first places in Austin to turn into the multi use type buildings but aside from that it's fine. Parking gets a little annoying during busy hours like after work. Great movie theater and okay food options.

  • Dakota Clark

Beautiful area, but outside of the Alamo Draft house there really isn't much here. It's best served for the residents who live in the surrounding apartments. But this place really comes alive during Fantastic Fest.

  • Cheryl Kaufman

Alamo Drafthouse movie theatre is here along with a couple of bars/restaurants and salons. Free three hour parking. Park on the roof of the parking garage to see a good view of Austin skyline.

  • Kristine Gahring

We went to Soho South Lamar in the plaza. Had fantastic sushi. Andy San was fantastic. Didn't order from the menu just said make us your favorites and 2 1/2 hrs later we were in sushi heaven.

  • Nick Button

There are many restaurants and shops as well as lodging in this property. Coffee, burgers, seafood, ice cream, juices, spa, salon, brew theater etc. It's an easy place to make everyone happy

  • Lauren Beecher

Lamar union plaza has a lot to choose from. Alamo draft house (movies, dinner and bar), sushi, pizza, TLC (seafood and lots of beer), thai, juice bar, mexican, bars...everything in one area.

  • Neerja Bakshi-Sharma

Such a cute plaza! Love that they have so many restaurants and options for things to do, two dessert places as well Parking is super easy in the apartment parking lots on the ground floor

  • Kimberly Gavin

Went to Highball, located within Lamar Union Plaza, to see The Peterson Brothers. It was a decent place and had decent drinks. It had very little seating, mostly standing room only.

  • gabe Lensing

Awesome place, definitely worth visiting. I attend events at the highball and then go to licks for ice cream after. Both places have grand service and come highly recommended.

  • Yao Zhang

This place is surprisingly awesome! We are amazed by their kind service and agree that their foods are truly amazing! Also, it is very new and their environment looks great.

  • Keevin King

My crab and shrimp boil was Not good. They boil it water with No seasonings and then sprinkle the seasoning on the outside of the shell of both the shrimp and crab. Smdh

  • Joshua Hardin

Nice theater. Could use with some updating to the seating. That being said you can expect the usual Amazing menu and drinks as all of the Alamo Draft House locations.

  • Stephen M.

I hit the three star because I'm not even recognizing this place and Google's having me there so please don't blame me but I really don't know but y'all be blessed.

  • Denise Ke

We had dinner at VOX, then Lick Ice Cream for dessert. Saw Black Panther at Alamo and finished the night with drinks at High Ball, everyone had a great time A+

  • Terri St. Arnauld

I especially like the movie theater. Restaurants there have been very good but there has been a lot of turnover, especially since the COVID shutdown.

  • Jeff Merritt

Free indoor parking!!! Need i say more...well maybe. Nice clean modern retail park. I just saw a movie though no info on the other establishmeants

  • Howard Boggs

Super nice area, we went to Licks Ice Cream and it was the best. Of course I love the Alamo Drafthouse also! Some other nice places there as well.

  • Christopher Lund

Love this part of Austin. Lots to do including a cinema, several restaurants, coffee shops, and other hang out spots. Always active and fun!

  • Mark Smith

Nice development with lots of structured parking. Could use better signage indicating which parking lot to enter for the movie theater.

  • Hildi Barnett

The design is weird. Need more signs directing traffic to the exit. Otherwise a cool little spot with several interesting businesses.

  • Illya M

Always clean, awesome places to eat and shop at, and there are outdoor patio sprinklers on hot days (heaters for cold days.)

  • Cin Rocha

Went to the Alamo Drafthouse, first time here it was nice. Just make sure you have your ticket online. It is much easier.

  • B “easy” Palmer

Great place. I could spend all day here. Brought my 14yo nephew here and HE thought it was "cool". He hates everything.

  • bismaeliaz

It's nice, but they could have more spaces for businesses, trees, or apartments even if they had fewer parking garages.

  • vic whiting

If you want good food & fun, this is the place for you. Plus a great place to see movies @ the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema.

  • Nila Dhinaker

Really happy with the free parking. Nicely decorated, good ambience, very clean looking and had a nice bustle to it

  • Awww Sam Norton

S'okay; great people all through it alongside wonderful scenery Mr. Natural and Marigold's are my healing go-to's

  • Tom Z

Stopped at the Alamo Drafthouse movie theatre. The best thing about this plaza is that they have a parking garage

  • Eli Saphow

Went to Lick Honest Ice cream, was very impressed with untraditional flavors and good quality local ingredients

  • Nick Mowen

Nice area with a great assortment of places to go and areas strictly for walking, really nice and modern.

  • Zuly Nelson

Delicious! The seafood is great! They were really nice and they are following all the safety protocols.

  • Becky Rayos

  • Jonathan Kirkland

Great spot with restaurants and entertainment. Try the ice cream shop there, it was the BOMB …

  • Ryan OMalley

Lots of turn over, always new places popping up. Parking is a lil difficult. Lots of movie goers.

  • Matt Hudson

The taste is yummy but the food quality is very bad. I hurt for a whole day after I ate there.

  • Carlo Maples

Really only come here for Alamo but love the place anyway. Good vibes and mood all around.

Next to the Alamo Drafthouse with restaurants, Lick Ice cream, mini pie bakery, nails ..

  • Pablo

I been living at Lamar Union for 6 years, location is great and everything is awesome.

  • Danielle Uhlhorn

No shopping as advertised on their website besides a closed pop up shop and weed shop.

A theatre with history and fun to visit during SXSW. Sticky floors. The food is okay.
