Went here to wash my clothes today. While I was waiting I observed many confused people. I urge everyone to read the instructions and take your time. Put €4.90 into the token machine and press ok. The token will dispense from the bottom of the machine. Next the soap machine is broken so go to the vending machine here you will see soap for €2 and conditioner for €1. Next on top of the washing machine you will find the flap for washing powder and conditioner put powder and conditioner into the correct compartments. Push the button and the led screen will light up choose the cycle you want by turning the knob clockwise or anti clockwise. Put your clothes in and lock the door. Put the token in and press the button. Dryer takes coins €1 gives 8 mins. I also suggest that you don't leave your clothes or any valuables there. I was standing outside and there was a shady guy watching me from a cross the street. I went to get a coffee takeaway when I came back he was outside the laundrette when he saw me coming back he smiled and said oh I just came to see if you had a lighter but he was smoking very strange guy.

Great place for travelers to get some cheap laundry done. The total cost was 4.20 EUR for wash, 1 EUR for powdered soap, and 3 EUR to get my clothes fully dry - all costs are using coins. Everything is labeled in English. There is a vending machine where you can buy some snacks and it will give you the change back in EUR coins for use on the machines. Note that for the washers, you exchange 4.20 EUR in coins for a token which you use on a washing machine. No change is given according to the token machine. There is a double load washer as well that costs two tokens (so 8.40 EUR). Finally, there are two small benches to sit on while your clothes wash. There are also lots of places to walk around nearby. My load nearly filled the washing machine and took 33 minutes. To get fully dry, it took about 24 minutes, 16 on high and 8 on medium.

This is one of the sleaziest businesses I have ever been to. They say that the price for a wash is 4.90, however, the machine doesn't accept ten cent coins, so you have to give them five euros. It's so dishonest to say it's 4.90 when you're obligated to pay 5 (unless by pure chance you have the exact change). You're losing your customer's trust for ten cents. Also, there's no machine to get coins, they straight up say that if you want coins, you should spend some money in their vending machine. What a joke. The detergent they use is awful, probably the cheapest in the world. The dryer is awful, I actually had to pay for a second round because it didn't dry my clothes. Even then, they were still very wet but I decided to not give one more euro to this awful business and just took them home.

Great centrally located place to do laundry. You can walk around while your cycles run and explore some of the side streets. The owner Rudy was onsite the day I went in. He was very personable helpful with giving instructions on how to use the machines and telling me where I could go to get some change because I only had big bills. The machines take tokens and the token changer doesn’t give change. The wash tokens cost €5 each. The dryers take euro and cost €1 for 8 minutes of drying when you add more coins the drying time will increase in 8 minute increments. The machines worked great and my clothes were fresh. I usually travel with my own detergent but you could purchase a travel size onsite for €1.

The washers here take tokens that you must get at the establishment. The tokens cost €4.90 each and the machine that dispenses the tokens does not give change. It took about 40 minutes for my clothes to be done washing. The dryers take euro and will cost you €1 for 8 minutes of drying. Add more coins for longer drying times. I dried my jeans and thicker clothes for 32 minutes and some items were still slightly damp. Nearby there are plenty of things that you can do while you wait for your clothes to be ready. I chose to eat while I waited. I found this place to be preferable because there are other things to do nearby.

This was our favorite lil laundromat in Amsterdam. It's small but a great place. There is an ATM next door and lots of great food places near by. . They have easy, simple english and dutch instructions. You buy a coin for €5 at the machine, and that goes into your washer. Right now it says the regular machine to buy laundry soap it out of order, so they have soap in a white package in the vending machine. Dryers take €0.50 for 7 mins I think. Under €10 and we did one large load and dried it in two separate dryers. I reccomend happy inn

Expensive and ineffective laundry day- expect to spend 5€ on washing and upwards of 8-10€ on drying. I put in 6€ for 30+ minutes and still had to dry them at home. Dryer kept telling me to fix an issue with the door or lint (didn't specify), otherwise it wouldn't start. Cleared lint but then found no bin in the whole room... Meanwhile, someone was trying to buy tokens (correctly) for about 10 minutes while the machine turned away every coin or note they put in. Expensive and broken machinery. Don't recommend.

If you have to do laundry in downtown AMS this is a great place to do it. Lots of instructions in English to help you figure things out if there aren't helpful folks handy. There are 8 washers and 6 dryers, but not much floorspace and only a tiny surface to fold your laundry if you're that way inclined. So go early in the day if you can. Place is clean, equipment all good, and coffee / snacks available too from machines if the cafés next door aren't yet open.

Must have exactly €5 note for one token for washing machine. Must have €1 euro coin for powder. Cannot break a €20 note. If you have €10 note you will be forced to get 1 token and some change rather than 2 €5 notes. Also if you have 2 x €5 notes. You can’t break €5 into coins. Otherwise ok. Smell ok. Cycle 30 mins. I didn’t use drier. Only gave lower score based on inconvenience of change. Their vending machine has nothing I wanted to buy.

  • Mark-O Polo

Great central laundry place. All facilities and detergents. You need €5-10 to change into token and coin. However on this day I spent closet to €20 as a washing machine (8) has a fault. And the dryers can only take small loads so I had to use 2 machines just to dry a pair of jeans and underwear . But still ok to have clean clothes Also clothes do not dry fully due to busy time. Machines need servicing

  • Marko Robinić

Dryers need at least 4 cycles of 8 min on high setting to complete the job. You can get change from vending machine but it will give you as much 2€ coins as possible and dryers don't return money... so i've spent 6€ on drying for the same amout of laundry i've paid 3€ for 30min in another laudromat and it was perfectly dry. And as you can see, owner is very protective of his dryers. Only if they clean them as fast as they reply.

  • Morgan Potter

Decent place for a do-it-yourself laundromat. Be aware that only the washing machines require tokens to run and the token machine does not give change. Carry small bills and coins if you don't want to over pay. There's a couple touristy restaurants and bars close by to kill time in if you don't want to partake of the vending machine offerings. Note: the food vending machines DO offer change if you need a larger bill broken.

  • Luis F

washers ONLY take their tokens. Dryers ONLY take euro coins. There is no change machine for just euros, you HAVE to buy more tokens to get change or you HAVE to buy something from their own vending machine to get change. most ATMs only do increments of 20 but none of these machines take 20s so you have to get change from somewhere else down the street. Just gonna wash in the canal next time to save some hassle.

  • Lois Martin

We were traveling and the location was convenient. Simply read the instructions and read the various tips in the reviews and you won't have any problem. Everything worked, we had no trouble drying clothes for €2 because we didn't have a large load. Why is it happy? Because it's €4.9 per wash and you don't get change. You see a credit building up. My guess is eventually someone will be happy with a free token.

  • daichi iwashita

I found here with the google map looking for closest coin laundry from the Amsterdam central railway station. Wash cost 4.5 euro/35minute (only coin) and dry cost 1 euro/8minute. Only for the wash, you need to purchase TOKEN. Also able to purchase soap if you do not have one. You can find chair to sit and vending machine to buy drink and snack if you want to stay till finish.

  • Youtube ITBach

Way too expensive. €10 for washing 8 kg load. Washers and dryers need service... 1 washer didn’t work and nearly all the dryers had rust at the back of the tumble! Very confusing to work with devices for example washer use tokens (no 0,50ct change if you insert 5€ bill) and dryers use euro coins and you are forced to buy something out of the vending machine to get euro coins

  • D Brown

Half the washers and half the dryers were out of order. It's dirty. You must have €5 or €10 or €1 or €2 coins. The only way to get change for the dryers is to make a purchase from the vending machines. €5 per wash, €4 per dry, you will need at least 2 dryer sessions to dry your clothes, perhaps more. Was not impressed with the options to pay or the service. Do not recommend.

  • Matthew Tennenhouse

The owner is a fantastic guy - he took over the laundromat last year and certainly understands how to treat customers. The facility was clean, easy to use (as instructions were in English) and I ended up talking to the owner for about 30 minutes about his life growing up in Amsterdam, what has changed and his experiences. Great facility and great management!

  • Anna Cieslik

So not worth the time and money… It’ll take a few tries before your cash is going to be taken and you get your tokens or… you won’t. The washing machines are old enough to start up before you choose the program. It’s 5€ not 4 and it’s 1€ for the 8 min of drying but no matter how many times you add your extra €€€ you won’t get your laundry dry.

  • Stas Vovk

Very poor place! Took me 3 times to reload a dryer cos every time I removed my clothes it would be still wet but even after the third time my jeans were slightly wet. No baskets, clothes don’t smell fresh. These machines are obviously too old and need to be replaced. Look for a better one, if there any I am not sure though.

  • Pablo Ioli

  • Michael Rubin

The place is a bit tight room-wise. Bring coins for the dryers. The washers take tokens, which you can purchase with notes. Half the Meyers we're out of order, so we had to wait for one to open up. The dryers take a while to dry a load. It's a €uro for each 8 minutes. After €5, the load was not dry.

  • Koert Breebaart

Great for washing big loads. Very well located in the city center near the nieuwmarkt. Washing is 5 euro and takes 30min to complete. The soap an additional 1 euro, so you can bring your own. Drying is 1 euro and takes 8 minutes per cycle. So total 45min and 7 euros to do your laundry. Take cash.

  • David ‘Dave’ S.

  • Mark Rasmussen

A little place to do your laundry while sightseeing in amsterdam. Reasonable. There's a hotel that serves breakfast 2 doors down, great place to while away a morning doing the mundane. Takes tokens that can be purchased there for the washer, euros for the dryer.... no clue why

  • Chandell Gadbois

Decent laundromat, but confusing to use. There is no change machine and you can only use bills under €10. I had to go down the street to buy coffee to get change which was inconvenient. There is also a vending machine with soap and softener, but no labels so it's confusing.

  • Megan Burton

Clean and convienient. This laundromat is in an ideal location if you're in central Amsterdam. It has instructions on how to use the machines posted above them. You can buy detergent and coffee. There is room to sit and fold. Very clean and comfortable.

  • Esther Toledano

Hard to get instructions as some machines work on tokens while another in euros, there's no softener to buy and when you find it it's inside a machine that already include the token that you just bought in another machine, expensive and confusing

  • John Santos

I had no issues walked in was the only one for majority of the time at 7:40am, met another tourist like myself doing laundry. Just make sure you check the machines make sure they are working. They put a sticky note on the machine with a Red X.

  • Reizky Idil Fitri

Not far from Amsterdam centraal, self service laundry there is 6 unit dryer l, 5 unit regular washing machine and 1 unit large washing machine, please prepare your coin before or you can exchange your money @vendingmachine

  • Rebecca Berberich

I went in at 5 o’clock on a Thursday and there was only one other load of wash being done. €4,90 a load and 32 min (€3) for drying later it was all done. There’s soap there. Everything was clean and quick!

  • Paul Mizzoni

Conveniently located near dam square and the red light district. instructions in english and lots of machines and simple coin machine system. 35 mins i was out with clean and spun nicely clothes.

  • Dennis Rich

Just used laundry mat. Great instructions, no issues. As listed elsewhere, bring plenty of Euro coins. 5 to do laundry, 1 for soap, 1/8 mins on dryer. Moderately low load, 40 mins on hot dried

  • Jinpyo Lee

Just worst. Soap is extra, ok. Washer ate my token, ok. Dryer only run 8min for €1, ok. After 3runs of dryer still didn't dry the loads(less than 1kilo), ok. Ok, so just never go here maybe?

  • Marcella Alexim

Very friendly owner who is almost around, but prices are high due to the dryer which needs too long and doesn't dry fast even with the high dry setting (but did burn my clothes slightly!)

  • Bill Welling

It is a convenient and clean self service laundry. However, you need money. €5/€10 for the washing machines and €1/€2 for the dryers. Also, only 3/6 dryers were working when I was there.

  • Talbi El Alami Hicham

  • Greg Weaver

Small clean laundrette a couple of minutes walk from the Central Station. Soap dispenser gives enough for two regular loads for €1 Wash is €4.50 for standard machine.

  • Nicole Roberts

Very simple instructions and easy to follow, make sure you have some change on you as the only way to get change is by buying something from the vending machine.

  • Jonathan Christian

Washed in the afternoon. There was only 1 person there. Clean place. Self service laundry. Finished two loads simultaneously within 1 hour. Dryers were great.

  • bubu jes

  • Lyn Garland

Quite happy. A good half dozen machines. Very clean. €4.50 for about 36mins wash. Can choose water temp. €1 for cup of powder. €1 = 8mins drying machine.

  • Bharat Kalyani

I put one euro by mistake and lost it as it does nt say on coin machine that inserted money cannot be refunded. Drying machine keeps giving fault error.

  • Rinsho TABATA

  • Nyanya Croft

  • Bilal Naqvi

Cash only really!?! Ridiculous that they only accept cash. Otherwise good location and okay machines. The dryer won't dry 100% but work fine.

  • Unkel Tingtong

Better than paying hotel prices for laundry, well equipped, don't dry your clothes on hi in fact only cold wash as well to avoid shrinkage

  • Stan Guintchev

Owner was very nice and helpful, spoke good English, but he suggested I dry my clothes on high... ended up shrinking some of my clothes.

  • Lorne Schultze

Was busy but we got th job done and had some breakfast while we waited. One machine didn't spin properly but everything else worked ok.

  • Mari Mitchell

  • Ashley Hughes

Nice clean place. Press the button next to the door and push hard! To get in. Only in other person when I have here in the morning

  • PMGG

  • Peter Burda

Scam! The sell token for 4,90 with a machine that takes minimum 20c. So it's impossible to pay 4,90€ and no change is given.

  • Darren Veraar

The washers take tokens (5 euro each), but make sure you have change under 10 euro. The dryers cost 1 euro per 8 minutes.

  • Bianca Grillo

  • Ruth Walujan

Washing ok, but the dryer didnt work well. Had to cycled 4 times (8min each) and still some of my clothes are damp.

  • Hamdan Alhajre

  • Richard Ng

Cost is a bit high. 5 euro to wash and no charge machine. Need to make sure you have enough change before you go.

  • Edmond Chan

AVOID! DRYER SUCKS after two cycle of drying (in high temperature setting), the clothes are still wet af. AVOID!

  • Blake Craw

Good laundromat, friendly staff. Could do wit a coin machine. I split my load into 2 for drying, worked a treat

  • Saverio Franchino

Lavatrici molto sporche.

  • Tome Gmail

Washed my clothes in a bit more than half hour, and dried it in 20 minutes. Prices are acceptable.

  • Rita Lopes

Don't have enough explanation how to use the machines. We have guess it. But the price is good.

  • Luke Kissane

Ok laundromat but tiny. 8 machines and 6 dryers. Costs €4,50 for a wash. No change available

  • Laurie Tabbakh

We learned how to wash are clothes here at this laundromat. Small but it does the job.

  • Fernando Princ

  • Kevin Rodgers

Great experience and everything worked wonderfully. Much cheaper than the hotel.

  • Shane Moseley

New machines that charge 4 euro for drying high speed; Washers are standard.

  • Ruby Metrikas

Lots of machines out of order. Also machine only takes 5 or 10 euro notes.

  • Alies Stefan

  • Estelle Bester

Did what we needed to do. A bit pricey and you don't get change back.

  • Anthony Gioia

Easy to use washer/dryer. €4.9 to wash and €1 for 8 minutes to dry

  • WyPk
