Arrived to bowl with my daughter and her friends on her birthday. Power was off at Cresta and generator was not working. Staff indicated if we waited a bit perhaps the generator would come on. We decided to wait 15 min rather than drive through to northcliff. Power came on after 20 min but when we asked to bowl staff said the system takes an hour to restart so we can't bowl. This should have been told to 20 min before. Upset we left. My wife took a picture of the whatsapp feedback number just before we left. 200 m from the bowling alley a rude elderly lady who looked like a manager from the alley accosted us and accused us of taking a photo of the staff. We explained how we just took a picture of the feedback number and how the staff had lied to us and strung us along and she instead of apologizing got very defensive and accusatory. She attacked me for saying the system takes an hour as it's apparently only 30 min as if that's better. I kept trying to explain I was just repeating what the staff told me and she just kept going on how wrong I was. It was surreal to be treated that rudely after they lied to us multiple times and ruined my daughters birthday. Not once did anyone apologize. I will never return there. Shocking customer service. A sign on the door with that info is all that's needed but she shouted at my wife for suggesting that.

It's such fun to go bowling in Cresta. Great for family with kids, just a group of teens or even veterans. All the lanes open and in good working condition and the environment clean, well maintained and looked after. They have a good selection of balls in different sizes and weights and a frame to help those who still need some help to position the ball correctly. The digital scoreboard helps to keep the competitive spirit running and adds to the fun. It takes about an hour to 45 minutes to complete all the round, and there are plenty of seating for spectators to join in on the vibe. this is great for small birthday parties or even date nights. Arcade next door and cinema on the same floor with a massive fish tank or mini aquarium just to add to the experience.

"Pathetic Pathetic". The games there are amazing but the service is just horrible. An old white lady so called Manager ( marikie) is the most rudest person ever. Her communicating skills is just awful. She loaded our money on a card only to find out the machine doesn't work and refused to give us our money back. Even today we didn't get our money. We were just told it's in the card, we can use it to play another game. Fact is we don't want another game as we won't ever set foot there. Just like that our money Gone. Looking at the reviews most people are complaining about her and no action has been taken. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to cresta for playing games. " AWFUL PATHETIC SERVICE"

Pathetic service old white lady behind the counter very rude needs to learn People skills. Had this encounter with her 3 times now. Equipment not working properly at the bowling area, most of the kiddies rides out of order. Rather close the entertainment area or fix machinery and adjust staff attitudes, really gives a poor image to the mall!!!

Do not bother to go here if your looking for a good bowling experience ! Paid R100 for 2 games. The equipment just kept dropping pins all over the place. After complaining they swapped me to another lane which was worse. Told the staff on duty that their equipment was useless to which they replied "yes we know". A total ripoff.

I I came here early Jan and it was not the best experience. They only have 7 bowling lanes so it is quite small. Trying to book a lane for my friends and I was a mission, we waiting for about 45min for our turn. The lady who works by the bowling section was quite snappy, but the rest of the staff were cool.

The lane we were on kept jamming, and when the staff member reset it, it messed up the scores completely. I also dont recall them asking us if we want to play with barriers up or down, we just found it up. Its not so bad that I wont try it again though. See Next time

***ABSOLUTELY DREADFUL!!!!*** I would not recommend this place to anyone. It is filthy, our clothes are stained from the dirty balls. There is no service, the staff are rude. The equipment doesn’t work. NEVER GO BOWLING AT CRESTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is such fun to get together and do some bowling. The place is great however there are some maintenance issues on the lanes etc but dont let that deter you from having a great time out. And it is an affordable outing!

Seats to sit on are filthy with dust. My fingers were black from touching the coach. We weren't allowed to pay for 2 games and after the first game leave to go have something to drink and then come back for game 2.

Balls are full of black grease, hands get very dirty. Yuck. Lanes are uneven. Pin machines are broken. They had to give us a different lane which wasn't much better. Very disappointed.

Lanes are uneven, not oiled and not maintained. Machines aren't maintained causing pins to drop. Ball return machine feeders are defective. Complete waste of money. Not a clean venue

The lady who assisted us on 1 April, wearing a pink T-Shirt, was rude, unproffesional and uninterested. My and my family walked away as a result. I would not recommend this place.

I have visited the bowling centre at Cresta several times. On many occasions the staff were unfriendly, uninterested and uncooperative. The experience overall was unpleasant

We had fun there. But there was one young male with curly hair who was an attendant. He was very rude and had bad attitude. Either than that rude attendant ...all was well.

It kept turning off we couldn't play staff are horrible to players and picked on my friend because he was waiting for 10 minutes for us to come and they sent him away

Staff on duty was not very friendly. The lights for the bowling alley are not all working. Not the experience I was looking for, quite disappointed at the service.

Very rude attendant by the front desk. No customer service at all and worst part the manager never listens to the customers side and threatens you.

There is an absolute lack of any servics responsibility. I would not recommend. Rather go to Northcliff Corner Tenpin bowling.

Cresta always a family spot for us, no matter what. now added bowling center, adds to the entertainment

Kept on getting stuck. Had to switch alleys 3 times. Wanted a refund but was denied. Unprofessional.

It can get filled so you need to wait for others to finish. There are only 6 or 7 aisles
