I have loved Levain for years. Their cookies are exceptional in every aspect. The flavors are great and they use semi sweet chocolate chips so that the cookie is not too sweet as a whole. They bake them to perfection - and consistently. It is hard to bake such a large cookie so well such that the inside is soft and even a little gooey with the outside crisp and firm. While this isn’t easy to do, levain does it incredibly well. My favorite flavor is the chocolate chip walnut, next the double chocolate peanut butter, and the oatmeal raisin. But honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of them. The Georgetown location always runs smoothly and rarely is there too long of a line.

I’ve followed these cookies on social media and finding out they had a location in Georgetown made my day! The shop is simple with a few places to sit indoors and seating outside along an alley. The cookies are thick and delicious. They have a nice crunchy exterior and soft interior. The chocolate peanut butter cookie is my favorite and taste similar to a brownie. The chocolate chip walnut cookie was my least favorite. It was just simple.

Honestly when I walked in I thought these were muffins but I was wrong!! They were HUGE COOKIES. I had them warm them up and it was a delightful experience to say the least, I enjoyed every second of it, it was soft and goey on the inside and hard and crunch on the outside. Supper delicious. I would recommend getting their milk with it that’s how sweet they got my mouth after. Good treat after dinner

I didn't know Levain Bakery had a Georgetown location but after having a cookie at one of their locations in the Upper West Side NYC, you know I had to try one here. I don't know how they do it but the chocolate chip cookie I ordered was divine. A nice chew but soft at the same time and plenty of chocolate chips throughout. For a sweet treat, definitely try Levain Bakery. The staff was welcoming and friendly and worked diligently to rock out orders. Expect a line at times but you won't wait long for your cookies. A must visit in Georgetown.

The best darn cookie I've ever had. This cookie is a beast and will satisfy your cookie cravings and then some. Its mass, texture, gooeyness, flavor, and smell are on another level. We had the double chocolate chip and the dark chocolate chocolate, both were the best in class. I recommend to eat half of it first then save the other half for an emergency snack, if possible. So good...

I first had Levain cookies in NYC so was excited to see one in Georgetown. There is nothing healthy about these cookies but they sure are delicious. One cookie is equivalent to 4 cookies. You can reheat them nicely in the microwave. I am fan of the chocolate chip and the caramel cookies. They are all good though . Like other locations , there isnt really seating. There is some standing space.

Amazing cookies! My friend brought a box of chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies for a birthday party, and they were the hit of the event. Soft and buttery cookies that are large in size and taste delightful. 100% recommend this bakery for a great treat for those with a sweet tooth!

I stopped by for my morning dose of caffeine and I wanted to try this caramel coconut chocolate chip cookie. It is as good as it looks! I had a well balanced espresso on my cappuccino. There are very respectable and friendly people behind the counter. I wanted to make a review because they made my morning so much better! I’m coming back for sure!

Love their cookies! Best cookies I have ever tasted! The cookies were warm when I bought them; they were crispy outside and soft in the inside. There are a lot of tastes that you can choose. Staff is so kind and helpful, they told me what cookies are the most popular. This bakery is located in Georgetown and it is very cute inside.

Literally such a good cookie. I got the dark chocolate peppermint cookie and I've never touched such a graceful cookie in my life. It was a warm melty cookie that tasted so fudge-e and minty. I will return.

Decent cookies, we had them shipped and followed their heating up instructions. They tasted fresh and goey but just wasn't a huge fan of most of the flavors. The winners were the double chocolate chip and double chocolate and peanut butter chip (perhaps because that dough, for whatever reason, was the most goey).

I work at a Bakery and wanted to checkout what Levain Bakery had going on. Well now I know that this place is serious when it comes to some cookies. Boy it was like heaven came down and touched my taste buds. I could have song Some Patti Labelle song it was so good.

Amazing cookies and big as well. I didn’t realize Levain had expanded out of NYC and I had to try this when I was in the Georgetown area and I surely wasn’t disappointed. We got the dark chocolate peanut butter and gluten free walnut cookie, highly recommend both.

A $5 cookie might have you feeling like John Travolta in Pulp Fiction. But they are some darn good cookies.

The line is long but when we arrive to the front of the line the person helping us was very helpful. They only had one dairy-free cookie option that day. I got the chocolate chip walnut. It's a big thick cookie with a crunch on the outside

I would have given 5 stars to this location if they had a nicer interior. I would really appreciate plants. Big and small plants or trees, nice (maybe) woven furniture, and a cute bathroom. When I go to a place I like to have a truly

Bought a takeaway chocolate chip brioche and some cookies the day before. The dark choc peanut butter cookie was nice. But two flies flew out of my brioche when I opened up the bag, which was sealed by the bakery staff. More

Nice bakery in Georgetown. The cookies were delicious and absolutely enormous. Not exactly cheap at $5/each, but this isn't exactly something you eat on the regular anyway. Service was quick and friendly.

My wife raves about Levain. She ordered and had cookies delivered from the NYC shop. We were in Georgetown and visited that location. Definitely a popular spot. Very friendly staff and delicious cookies.
