I am actually in the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. I arrived at 430pm well before the lunch menu ended. There were so many things wrong with the service, but I will stick to two. 1. Do not show up during shift change. You will be ignored. I had to grab the mgr (he is super sweet compted my appetizer) and ask where my server was. Loni came over shortly, but rarely came back to check on me at all. There was a table across from me that was not getting good service either. 2. Be specific about your bill. I told my server twice to split my bill. Jesus, be a fence! She finally got it right. I walked away to use the restroom, and my table was being cleaned when I came back. The bill was on the table and my bagged food was still there. I ordered a drink that was not there yet, so I was able to save my lunch for tomorrow..... The cheesecake factory is known for great service (first), first class entrees, but tonight service kept you from not earning the 5 star rating. What I did enjoy was the salad, long island ice teas, and happy people surrounding me. My server was not the best but and maybe it was an off night for her. LONI! CHECK ON YOUR PEOPLE! Your tips will be trash if you dont.!!!!!!!!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this place and was greeted by the exceptional service provided by Johanna, the hostess and Nina, the server. From the moment we walked in, Johanna warmly welcomed us with a bright smile and a friendly demeanor, setting the tone for a wonderful dining experience. Not only was the food delicious, but Johanna's exceptional service and warm personality made our visit even more enjoyable. Our server, Nina, was equally exceptional. She provided excellent recommendations from the menu, answered our questions, and ensured that our drinks and food were always replenished. Nina's friendly demeanor and attentive service truly made our visit memorable. I highly recommend The Cheesecake Factory for its delicious food and outstanding service, and I hope you have the pleasure of being greeted by Johanna’s and Nina’s exceptional hospitality during your visit. They truly embody what exceptional hospitality is all about and are a true asset to the restaurant. Thank you for making our dining experience truly exceptional!

Food: So I order the steak Diane and shrimp scampi long story short the steak was Luke warm at best the garlic mashed potatoes were dark and the shrimp were over cooked sent it back asked if they could make it again, it was the same steak and potatoes and newer burnt shrimp!!!! So I canceled that and got the farfalle with chicken and roasted garlic….and that too was horrible the sauce was watery and the pasta had no taste at all!! Service: the waitress was not very nice or welcoming and acted as if she really didn’t care if we were satisfied or not….. My thing is if you don’t want to work in customer service don’t I realize that as a waitress you don’t have anything to do with the food coming out butttt you don’t have to be rude to me for not accepting what’s presented in front of me especially when it’s not right!!! Atmosphere: The location is great, the restaurant was clean and up to date. Wouldn’t come back to this location at all after this experience!! $75 bucks and very unsatisfied

Went to this one with a friend and the inside scenery is really nice. The seating is not comfortable at all tbh and doesn't match the decor. The waiter was really nice but she was very slow with checking in on us mind you we got their a hour after they open and it was a few tables. Our appetizers were the fried Mac and cheese balls delicious and the chicken samosa which was okay. The order was from the Saturday and Sunday brunch aka the fried chicken and waffles Benedict that is supposed to be served with a maple butter syrup that I never got even after asking the waiter twice. The other dish was the Monte Cristo sandwich which the crunch French toast was underdone. We both had the raspberry lemon drop which taste like coup syrup and the long island ice tea which was water basically and I order a red wine and they could of kept that hot box cup . All of that for 164. First and last time.

The food was delicious but I will never return. The waitress helped herself to adding her own tip to my credit card slip after I left. I had my copy so I know what it was supposed to be. When I discovered what happened 2 days later I called the general manager. She was ad rude as they come, defending what the waitress did asking me, "well did you receive good service?" I don't care how the service was, nothing gives the wait staff the right to freely take what they want from my wallet. Ultimate entitlement. She said she couldn't look into it when I called at 11am when they opened because lunch was going on. Ok, I waited but never got a call back. I called again around 7:30pm and was told she couldn't look into it because it was dinner time. So when can she look into this fraudulent act?? She rudely stated she already told me she would just give me a refund. Great but that was never relayed. Save yourself the pain and go elsewhere or at least save your receipt so you have proof!

The food (4/5): I ordered the Smokehouse BBQ Burger and it tasted pretty decent. I really loved the fries though! The service (5/5): Honestly the waitress was amazing. Super kind, super polite and super helpful. You better give her a raise ASAP!! The restroom (4/5): (disclaimer: Couldn’t take many pictures because of privacy reasons) 1. the room in general: The restroom has 2 urinals (1 low enough for shorter guests) and 2 cabins (1 big enough for handicapped guests). However I couldn’t get a deeper insight on the cabins because they were both in important usage. The restroom seemed pretty clean, but again a little dark in general. Darkness helps a lot in hiding dirty parts. The soap dispenser and sink weren’t that wild tbh. Instead of a Towel Dispenser they installed Hand Drying Machines. Not a big fan of those. Very loud and unhygienic.

the service was HORRIBLE. After we got seated our server ignored us for 30 minutes and then even admitted in doing so. After ordering our drinks he never returned where the hostess had to get us our drinks instead. After our food had arrived we found something suspicious looking in the mashed potatoes which definitely shouldn’t have been there. When confronted our server told us that the kitchen said it was rosemary. It was definitely not. He proceeds to lecture us how we have never seen rosemary and if we have a problem to “call corporate I don’t care”. Left us stunned that this man treated us like this. The manager told us later that what we found was not rosemary but the eye of potato. I suspect our server treated us horrible because we were tourists so beware. Genuinely hope he does not work there anymore for everyone else’s sake.

Had visited their Dubai outlets multiple times so while in USA trusted them to be equally better but this decision turned horror. The server was messy, never came asking for refill. The food was at best uneatable, we left our mains. The Thai lime chicken had rubbery chicken and barely any coconut base to go with rice. Table next to us were unhappy with their pasta and had left it. My wife wanted to try the Cheesecake expecting some satisfaction, after all that's what they are known for. We ordered the strawberry cheesecake and it was way under par, the base was soggy so we left this as well a bit on the plate. We barely finished any food. The bill was 101 dollars and my wife out of courtesy tipped generously as we walked out extremely disappointed. The only reason this place gets customers is due to its location near the white house but this is the most awful cheesecake factory experience you can have.

I finally checked out this location on H St.. & finally checked out the Cheesecake Factory brunch too!  So glad I did.  I got a couple of breakfast cocktails and as an appetizer, I got the Avocado egg rolls.  The Avocado Egg Rolls here are my fave! I really think Cheesecake Factory does these the best.  For my meal, I ordered the Apple Caramel Pancakes and a side of eggs. & OMG, I'm kinda surprised I never knew the specialty pancakes here were so good!  The pancakes were so fluffy, great size, and perfect temperature.  I'm not sure how it's crafted, but the apple filling is actually throughout the middle of the stack--not just placed on top.  So perfect! The vibe here is much different than any other Cheesecake Factory I've been to. I'm thinking it's due to the location and not being near a mall or shopping area. (Hmmm...I'll have to investigate this more). I'll definitely come to this location again for brunch and to check out the dinner scene.

I ordered Louisiana chicken and pasta. It's not something I would usually order, but I'm not a regular of this chain and my friend said I'd like it. The chicken was SO GOOD. I'm not a fried chicken gal, but this was juicy, crispy, boneless, and delicious. I'd definitely order this again. I love spicy food and didn't think this was spicy. My friend who doesn't care for spicy food said it's way too spicy. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself got a 4 because the music was so dang loud. It was good music! But I had to shout to talk, and it felt like a perpetual cycle of yelling over the music, so the music gets louder, and the yelling gets louder. In reality, the music stayed the same volume the entire time. I'd go back!

My service at Cheesecake Factory was absolutely horrible today! After being seated at a table in the bar area, my friends and I waited thirty minutes to be acknowledged by an waiter or waitress… I eventually flagged down a waiter who quickly said it wasn’t his section and directed us to our waitress “Lani”. It seemed “Lani” didn’t want to be bothered with serving my friends and I. We ordered drinks which took another thirty minutes to come, they also came one by one and minutes apart. After receiving drinks the food came, we had to flag “Lani” down again because she forgot to bring one of the four drinks my friends and I ordered. Once she brought over the drink we didn’t see her again until it was time to pay. The food was decent but the service we received made this recent visit very unpleasant.

One of the worst customer service I have ever had. The manager was EXTREMELY RUDE and disrespectful. I lost my debit card in this place, and when I went there to find it, the manager started to yell at me in front of the waitress and everyone there. As soon as she saw me, she immediately said, "I already told you we can't help you" with a very aggressive attitude. She acted annoyed when I asked if I could check the seat I used, and when I was leaving, she yelled again, "Just block your card." (I am not from DC, and I was desperate). I used to enjoy Cheesecake Factory, but after this experience, I will never go back. I highly recommend revising the staff, especially the manager, considering that people prefer to be treated with respect than anything else.

Terrible service in a restaurant with mediocre food. There are much better restaurants in the area to eat, for example, FOUNDING FARMERS, where the pies are much more delicious. If you go through NY, Junior's cheesecake is much richer. The waitress Carolina was very unfriendly, she did everything possible to make our dinner a disaster. He did not want to give us water at any time. He was unhelpful when we asked about the food dishes. He spoke Spanish perfectly, like us and she didn't just want to speak to us in English... We went to celebrate our birthday there and they didn't want to sing happy birthday to us, which is strange, because on their website they indicate that it is a service that is always available. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

First time yesterday at this location. Not pleased at all with the long wait time, after we had reservations. No accommodation available for our inconvenience at all. The manager who was on duty at the time was not apologetic for the situation. Let’s be clear regardless if it’s a Saturday. Reservations were made a week prior for 3:30. We didn’t get seated until 4:30. The food was mediocre. The waiter Tray was fairly pleasant. I feel strongly that they need a lot of improvement in areas of customer service satisfaction, and accommodations to guests. We have been serviced at other Cheescake Factory locations, and it’s much better overall. Lastly, I observed other guests enter with reservations, and they were seated in less than 5 minutes. It seemed to be a bit bias, but definitely not acceptable.

If I could give less than one star I would. I went in with a group of two girls, at night, on a Wednesday. It was dead and not busy. If it were busy, I wouldn’t mind waiting a bit. But again, it was dead. Multiple tables open. We get sat immediately. It takes 11 minutes for someone to come take our drink orders. We decide to order our food and drinks at the same time. It then takes an additional 38 minutes to get our drinks. After one of our party went up and asked the host where our server was. No bread was brought to the table. We were not checked in on. Other tables were getting annoyed too, by obviously not being taken care of. We ended up leaving and going to McDonalds.

Stopped by for dinner after walking DC all day. We were pleasantly seated quickly without a reservation. It was 6pm on a Friday! I tried their chicken parmesan "pizza style" for the first time and it quickly became my new favorite, go-to dish for future visits! My wife had her usual medium-rare steak diane, but it was unfortunately a bit overcooked (middle was closer to medium and sides were medium well) sadness. I also tried their turtle cheesecake for the first time, it was a little too sweet for my liking, the big chocolate flower looking thing on top was a bit much. Next time I'll stick to my usual fresh strawberry cheesecake. Overall, we still enjoyed our time spent at Cheesecake Factory.

Omg it was my first time in DC and we decided to stop in to Cheesecake Factory and have dinner. We had an amazing waiter named Dante who made our visit so much fun and he was so down to earth. You don’t find customer service workers like him. He needs a raise. I kept his note to us because it will be kept as one of our best interactions in the restaurant industry. Dante if you ever see this please continue to live by your “I don’t lie” tat because it makes you into the really cool person that you are.

Our waiter was great. The reason why we gave it 4 stars was my wifes burger. She ordered the stuffed burger, I had the double bacon burger. My wifes burger arrived rubbery, and when she cut it in half, all of the cheese poured out. We ordered meduim well. Im thinking hers was overdone, or had liquid cheese. My burger was great, cooked just like we do at home. Mainly our fault though, in our opinion, anything stuffed with cheese is never good, as its either over or under cooked. Will be coming back for dinner on our visit to the capitol.

I ordered from the H street NW location, Bistro Shimp through DoorDash. I recieved bites of Shrimp throughout the pasta. The meal is supposed to have whole Shrimp with a crispy batter but I didn't get that at all. I call the location and spoke with Mat the manager and explained, he stated because it was DOORDASH he couldn't give me a refund. I stated you all made the food and it was not correct. He said, unfortunately we can't help you since it was a DOORDASH purchase. Never have I heard of this before. Cheesecake factory you are not trust worthy and I am truly disappointed in your restaurant.

Maybe the staff had an off-day, but this was an evening to forget. It took a long time to order and then the difficulties began. The first 2 drinks took 5 minutes, the other 2 took another 5 minutes. Then the first appetizer came, pretty fast. Just after the plate was finished the specialties for some and the salad for others came. After 3 bites the salad (that was ordered before the specialties) came. How to eat two warm dishes at the same time? In the end we sent one salad back and took another in a doggy bag. The sent back salad was taken off the check. All in all the service was not as expected, the food was ok (nothing more)

I was visiting Washington from L.A. and it was my first time ever eating at a Cheesecake Factory restaurant, it appeared to be a good choice. Overall great service. The waiters and waitresses speak English and Spanish. Very friendly too, made me feel welcomed and safe. However, this location is a bit dim with the lights, I could say it was a little too dark for me so I couldn't see whether the salad I ordered was super fresh or not. Nonetheless, I had to use my other senses and the salad tasted fresh. Didn't wait much for my food and I was able to get a nice slice of cheesecake. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did.

Our server was very sweet, but the food was not impressive at all. The miso salmon was over done and very sweet, almost sugary, which wasn’t mentioned in the menu at all. The rice with the salmon was over done, very greasy, and practically mush. The two I had with me both got the burger and only ate half. My brother got nauseous cause of the grease, and it was cooked unevenly through. I was so excited to try the food here, but really sad after my $90 bill came out when none of us liked our meals. The people standing up front just stared at us and had a slight attitude. Didn’t bother trying the expensive cheesecake either- so no opinion on that.

We walked in for an early dinner for a party of two. We were seated at possibly the worst table in the restaurant. It was small and in the area where the wait staff hangs out when they have no tables. We asked the hostess to move us elsewhere as she was seating us, but she refused. No idea why, since the restaurant was largely empty. We seated ourselves at the bar. Josh, the bartender, rescued our dining experience. He was very congenial and attentive and offered some great suggestions. Thank you, Josh!

Update: 8/11/22 Thank you for the apology and gift card. I used it today and had a wonderful experience! Food was on point (spicy cashew chicken). Five stars -------- July 2022 3 star I understand mishaps will happen. I understand the experience will not be perfect every single time. However this is unacceptable, I'm not sure if this cheesecake was previously served but I should not have received this. The pasta dishes both were dry, asked for extra sauce just to meditate it potentially being dry and here I am. Spent $85. I will try and add pictures.

One of our best dining experiences in Washington DC. Usually, while eating out, it is really hard to find enough vegetarian options on the menu but The Cheesecake Factory had quite a lot of options to pick from. For appetizers, we got the stuffed mushrooms made in a delicious wine sauce and herbs and garlic. With that, we also got fried zucchini. We also got the Evelyn’s pasta, the Margherita pizza, and the Thai lettuce wraps. Hard to pick a favourite as everything tasted so amazing. The service was incredibly warm and welcoming too - such a great experience.

I ordered a ceasar salad with grilled shrimp. The croutons were exceptionally stale, to the point I thought I might break a tooth. The shrimp was too salty to enjoy + only four medium (4) shrimp were included in the salad. The restaurant charged $30 for this horrible salad. I could've been more satisfied with a fast food meal than this disgusting food. I left hungry and feeling taken advantage of after that. Just because it's cheesecake factory in the district does not give them the right to be lazy or take advantage financially. Do better.

Usually do not seek out the Cheesecake Factory for a meal. We were hungry and in the neighborhood. Food was good. Server was friendly but service was a little slow. Perhaps less staff on the opening shift. Portions were plenty big enough to take 1/2 home for later. It was cold so we ordered coffee. Not the best coffee. The regular coffee had to be sent back because it was full of grounds and the decaf was a little weak. Asked for 1/2 & 1/2 and was surprised with coffee creamer instead. Overall not a bad experience.

We were visiting DC with my wife and we had to go and try out rhis chain and it was absolutely fantastic. Without reservation we got a table in about 10 mins. Huge portion and we were amazed how great and stuffed the veggie burger was. BBQ Steakhouse burger was also spot on, not to.mention the cheesecakes. Service was amazing (Trevor) and friendly. Only downside is that at the table where we were sitting it was a bit dark for our taste.

Ate here while touring DC near the White House with family. Walked in and there was absolutely no wait on a Sunday at 1pm. We had an outstanding server who kept checking on us which was nice. Our food was delicious. I was able to try their brunch which I had never had before. I tried the fried chicken waffles eggs Benedict. Loved it. Will definitely be getting that again. I included the families orders in the pics. Overall I would highly recommend this location and will be back again soon.

Coming from Canada, hadn't been to a Cheesecake factory in a while and decided to stop here after a long day of walking in DC. Our server was amazing. Great wit, and recommendations were on the spot. Food was great we all got different dishes, pasta, lamb, pizza, chicken. Restaurant decor seems like a maze, also pretty dark despite it being midday, but I guess that's maybe what they are looking for. Also, having 20 options for cheesecake is never a bad thing.

A typical cheesecake factory restaurant. Not far from the White House, as cheesecake factory restaurants go, this one was fairly small. Quality of food was quite good although the desserts we had were not quite as excellent as I might have expected. Though it was busy, service was friendly and reasonably fast. A nice option not far off the National Mall. Like most places in DC, parking is scarce.

We had impressively good takeout from here! I had the ahi tuna which could have been hit or miss after 10 minutes delivery time, but it was delicious (do not judge from the picture)! Is it possible to say anything bad about The Cheesecake Factory? My only complaint is that there are not more of them. Replace Starbucks with more Factory locations. Not only was the cheesecake good, the bathroom mirror was a great place to snap a quick selfie so people know you’re treating yourself to a culinary delight and as a surprise the bathroom actually have two mirrors. A must visit stop in DC.

The food is always good, with lots of lunch specials to choose from, and the service (Kadeem) couldn't have been better. My favorites, the Chicken Madeira and Chicken Marsala with Mushrooms, don't come in lunch sizes, but the crunchy Chinese Chicken Salad and Crusted Chicken Romano do ($16.95 each), and were perfect for sharing. Everything comes with a basket of freshly baked bread.

Everything about this Cheesecake factory is good, as is in the rest of the chain. I had the chicken and biscuits, as advertised, comfort food with a couple beers. The only drawback, no Draft Miller Lite. My meal filled me up, no room for cheesecake, my loss. It was a great place to cool off while walking the Washington D C area. This location is located a block from tha White House. Wonder is the President goes there?

During a visit to Washington, we saw the Cheesecake Factory which was often recommended to us in Germany. We got a place and in advance ice cold water and bread, they certainly thought that we want to eat right for lunch. We order a carbohydrate reduced cake, an original and a salted caramel. All three were extremely tasty ! The store is highly recommended, also our waitress was super nice and brought us fresh coffee.

We had the best experience at the Cheesecake Factory tonight. Our server was so friendly and even asked our pronouns. We got the orange chicken and the fried chicken sandwich, and loved both. After that, we got the 30th anniversary chocolate cheesecake, and they wrote happy birthday which was so lovely. We want to come back and try the whole menu!

Food was really good. Mu daughter loved the mac and cheese. The shrimp pasta was delicious and a decent size portion. Ordered the special appetizer street corn was good but the portion was on the smaller side. Still tasty. Waiter was very nice and attentive even though it was very busy. Went for the dessert was not disappointed. The only complaint I have is that it was very dark in the restaurant, very dim lighting.

While the Hostess desk makes you wonder if it's possible to get a smile from an employee, our server--Kadeem J.--was attentive, polite, and friendly. He fixed a mistake on our order quickly and with a smile and made the whole table have a great experience. Side Note: it was the beginning of the evening rush but the Ladies' Restroom was understocked, over-trashed, and the stalls we're filthy.

great cheesecakes. not the cheapest, but you can taste the quality. our server was very kind. got brought a second coffee for free, and didn't feel rushed when we were almost done - quite nice to be able to sit in a restaurant and not get kind of thrown out as soon as your plate is around halfway empty. would recommend!

The foods were amazing. Everything came out delicious. We even wipe down the stuffed mushroom plate with our remaining bread from the bread basket. We went about 4ish in the late afternoon after a whole day strolling the tidal basin and Renwick Gallery. The place was calm and quiet with just a few tables occupied but took awhile before we have a server attending to us.

The Google app says *preferred to order delivery from Cheesecake Factory. They don't deliver!!! This is B.S.!!!!! Fix the website!!! When I called because there was no delivery address, I got hung up on by the representative. So not only are they rude. My plasticized was melted, and I had paper wrapper or plastic in my cheesecake.

Amazing food and service!! Chicken pesto pasta was one of the best that I’ve had my entire life. The chicken was so tasty!! We also ordered a white chocolate raspberry cheesecake which was over the top! Super delicious food and our waiter was testing us with fresh bread and always was there for us to help. Highly recommend

The food is always great here. Save room and make sure you have cheesecake. I think our servers was having a bad night. She tried hard, but made mistake after mistake with orders, drinks, billing. The manager tried to help, but you can fix this kind of poor quality.

Located on 14th and H st NW in Washington DC. I have been visiting the locations for social and business meetings. From the weekend it opened it's always a good time. Staff are attentive and very amicable as well. The food is colorful and flavorful, and usually take some home. So, live the experience yourself! Beware, usually reservations won't work for same day so, like me, try the bar area.

  • ESB NYC

Very lackadaisical service. The host was very low energy and showed us to a weirdly dark interior table and moved us to one of the many vacant window tables upon request. We shared an appetizer (stuffed mushrooms, tasty) and flatbread pizza (not bad) with a small salad combo for lunch ($18.50). Cokes are overpriced.

It was quite busy on a Thursday evening but the wait was cut short (after a few minutes) when someone asked us if we minded to sit high (at the bar or table). The steak was great and as dessert they poured me a rather large scotch (which I rather enjoyed).

Finally a restaurant at this corner for everyone. Their extensive menu and familiar name should be inviting to tourists and locals alike. Kudos to the entire company. How they consistently maintain a high level of quality in their food and service with such an extensive menu is a marvel in it self. There is something here for everyone, and if that isn't enough come for the cheesecake!

AMAZING! Food was incredibly yummy. Cocktails are what you expect from Cheesecake Factory - potent but in a good way. We had the Long Island Iced Tea and Sangria Rosa - both hit the spot after a walk around the landmarks of Washington DC. Staff are friendly and welcoming. If in the area, visit - it’s great.

Our hotel was just around the corner and my wife wanted a Cobb salad, so, we went to one night. Food was good, had the NY Strip and they cooked it properly. The server was very good as well. One thing, not sure why, but the Cheesecake Factory just can't make decent mashed potatoes. It is bizarre.

I gave 3 stars for the service. Near the bar is open seating. We saw a table that needed to be cleaned. We stood there and waited. Workers passed us and didn't greet us or say, will be right with you. Nothing. Jasmine saved the day. She took good care of us afterwards. She was a great waitress.

Met my friend here and got seated quickly even though they were busy, we had to get reseated though. But our waitress was very nice and helped me out when there was a hair in my food. I agree with others that the music was way too loud it was overwhelming. Otherwise a typical Cheesecake Factory.

Cheesecake Factory in Washington DC is structurally the same as all others. This has become a " comfort" factor for me. I know what my favorite choices on menu & service is overall very good. Only issue is the background music is a bit loud for casual discussions with my company.
