I made the mistake of buying an eBike online from a different retailer. It arrived with multiple issues. I called around some local bike shops and they either gave me sass about not buying from them originally, said there was a 2-3 week waiting time, or said they couldn't service an eBike that's not a Brompton. I expanded my search - and I'm so glad!! I didn't know about Life Cycles until today and they've been amazing. It's an hour trek each way for me to get there, but 100% worth it. A clearly knowledgeable team, and a very welcoming and calm atmosphere. They gave me a clear rundown of what they could do and the price. A completely hassle free experience. I've ridden home confident in my new bike now, and will 100% return to them for ongoing services, parts, etc. I'll be recommending them to friends and colleagues too. I have a ZIPP 1080 rear wheel, and I want to use it on my track bike. The ZIPP 1080 has 20 spokes, and it isn't easy to find a track hub with 20 holes, so I wanted to use a hub with 20 holes from the Mavic Ellipse currently installed on my bike. Unfortunately, many bicycle repair shops refused my request because the Mavic Ellipse uses a straight-pull type spoke, which they think is too complex. My friend suggested taking my bike to LifeCycles, and they quickly accepted my request without giving the impression that it was impossible to do when I submitted my request. The result is fantastic. LifeCycles can do what no other bike repair shop in Leeds can. The staff is friendly and professional, as seen from the open workshop, so people can see the bicycle repair process firsthand. There is also a cafe that can be used to hang out.

I’m not usually one to write reviews, but felt morally obligated after receiving such good service after a visit. I went in as my front disc brake was sticking, they looked at my bike for 10-15 mins, sorted it and then refused payment as I was purchasing a jersey and some socks whilst there anyway. Great cafe area and staff were absolutely incredible, felt very welcomed and will be going back for all bike related purchases and services in future for sure now.

Wow what a service from Yas & the team. Was having problems with my rear mudguard on the winter bike. Quick phone call brought the bike in to the shop and it was sorted straight away at a very competitive price. Super shop with amazing customer service and knowledge. The best bike shop in leeds hands down!!! First class

Had my gears indexed and very quick turnaround at a reasonable price. Excellent staff and a good atmosphere. Will be going back here to buy my new helmet next month and sample the coffee.
