Light house Cinemas is pretty from the name it depicts. It is located in a very central Area, good looking building however, very basic and shabby. Not much has been put in there from the reception which is at the ground floor, and the ticket purchase points which is at the 5th floor. No working elevator at the time I visited I must state and even if it worked I wouldn’t feel comfortable to use it cause of the state of the place. The only thing I like about the cinema is the marathon movie packages that they offer like an all night movie marathon from 11pm to 6 am of 3 new movies, however I paid 9,000 for a couple ticket for the movie marathon, which was supposed to come with either a pack of food and drinks or Shawama and drinks, we only received popcorn and drinks, no one gave any explanations after all they had mixed up the tickets of those who just payed to watch the movies and those who paid for a meal, they couldn’t even give pack half of the ticket so to differentiate the categories. The screen was good but the sound was low all through the movies. To worsen it, People discovered bedbugs on the seat terrible. After two movies the Air conditioners were turned off it got so hot I left. The restroom is a 3/10 state. The car park is so small with pillars in every corner of you re not a good driver pls don’t drive there, you’ll enjoy frustrated. The Cinema was dominated by students who were so lousy through the movie. In conclusion this is a place you go once and never return. So if you like your comfort or want to give spouse a treat sorry that’s a wrong choice for a cinema.

The owners are clearly not serious about their business. They don't care about customers. Their website doesn't have current information about weekly movie schedules so it's only when you get the cinema that you know which movies are available and the times they are showing. I've been at Lighthouse twice and both times I was disappointed. Last time I was there, the lift wasn't working and I was told to climb the stairs to the 5th floor in order to buy tickets and watch the movie. I turned and walked out and went to Ozone cinema which isn't far away. Certainly the last time I'll be going there unless they improve and treat customers better. Their pricing strategy should also be reviewed downwards. For the stress \ inconvenience of climbing up to the 5th floor and the lack of attention to minor details that would make customer experience better, their N1000 - N1500 price range is definitely not justified.

I went there on a Saturday night, the outside was looking all dry and the front main door locked, it was my first time so I thought it wasn't open. Luckily I saw someone coming from the side so I intuitively assumed there was a door into the building by the side. And yes there was. I met a receptionist at the entrance who directed me to the 5th floor through the elevator. Pop corn cost N500 and 700 for the bigger size, tickets are N1000 per movie which is relatively very cheap. I expected to get a cheap service as well and I did. The screen is standard screen. The AC was working very well. I didn't like the seats so much cos I've sat on something more comfortable in iMax lekki. In summary, this is a place you can come hide and watch all the new movies in economy class. I'll definitely go here again. Cheers.

So this may seem a bit too antagonist or just plain unappreciative considering they just started but then too many things are still wrong and they are minor things that don't need to go wrong. First I had to ask for tissue before it was made available in the toilet. Second their site gave a wrong time for the movie and I had to wait 3 hours to actually see the movie I went for. Third they're still a bit disorganised seeing as their ticket said screen 1 and they had to direct me to screen 2 for the actual movie. But the cinema is nice either way and it's the same feel relatively as any other long existing cinema. I totally enjoyed the movies I watched even tho the first one was to wile away time for my actual desired movie. So yeah 3 stars cus ehhh it's okay.

Been there twice, environment always seem empty. Apart from what is sold in the complex you can't get anything else to eat. Which pretty much limits what your taste buds might want. AC is top notch but the seats are too cramped for my liking and they weren't comfortable for me, movie screens OK but the sound quality is just 'there'. Movies don't cost much if you have about 1k5 you're good to go. Its a pretty good deal for the services being rendered. But one thing I like about the place is the sense of anonymity it gives, you can just jejely go there watch your movie and be almost certain you'll not meet a recognizable face.

It's making sense on the outside but the first problem is having to climb stairs, the elevator has been faulty for a while and still is as of last week. Although the staff are receptive to be sincere but the cinema doesn't make a lot of movie options. Lastly, they experience power outage occasionally, last time I was there power went out. Though we were told to come back another day to see 2 movies but even when we came the next time we only saw one cause they delayed us until it was too late to even request to see the other movie.

  • Afọlábí Ògúnlọlá

Light House Cinemas at Yaba, Lagos State is a big disgrace... For the first time in my life, I experienced power outage in the middle of an exhilarating movie; and power would not be restored for another ten minutes during which movie continued playing with sounds and no visuals. A staff was approached in the middle of the fiasco and was utterly rude literally saying take a chill pill or bounce; a conscious establishment will make moves to compensate or at very least apologize in order not to get words out. SHAME!

  • Chioma’s Box

It is Located at jibowu bus stop It is a lovely cinema and it has nice drawing for taking pictures. It is not a rowdy place, it is quiet and organized The staff are very friendly They have nice speaker The chairs are very comfortable The movies are really cheap compared to other places, 500 on weekdays and 1000 on weekends The for blockbusters 1500 with free popcorn. But never go to see a movie without a sweater or jacket the viewing halls are so cool. Never judge a place by it looks This place has a lot to offer.

On the first visit to the Light House Cinemas, I came with a friend for a church service on one of the floors, to my knowledge there are two churches in the building. I remember remarking about how exhausting it is to climb up several stairs as the elevator was out of order. Regardless, I think the building is well maintained and easily accessible with good directions. I personally don't know the full gist with regards to the various floors but I think it is a usable place for a myriad of things

Nice quiet, not very crowded environment, with basement parking. You get new movies as other cinemas although no 3D features. Cozy cinema halls with good ventilation. Peak periods, tickets are ranging between N1,500 (blockbusters) to N500. Soft Drinks are N300,and you get popcorn, hotdog, meat pie or sausage roll for snacks. (I didn't tell you this: you can bring in your drinks in a bag, no one us searching). If you like an almost private cinema experience, this is the place for now...

  • Chibuike Okonkwo

Currently, I do not like this place. The cinema is in a complex, no directional sign to the cinema, waited at the ground floor reception before I decoded I was to go to the 5th floor for the movie. The costs of the add on are prohibitive. About $1 for a small coke and $1 for a chicken pie. Pringles was $3. Movie started at the exact time but the viewing area was noticeably empty; probably because they are new to the location. I'd be going back because of the proximity to my house.

  • Chibuikem Chris-oparah

The Elevator is scary. You always feel it might stop working at any time. Movie and show time not well organised, horrible drink served (Chapman or whatever that is), however it is very affordable. A place you can see about 3 blockbuster movies for the price of one in a top cinema... however the experience is something entirely different

  • Onyedinma Chizitere

It is just an average cinema. It would have been more but I don't think the management is doing anything to pull customers. It is located on the 5-7th floor yet the lift doesn't work most times and their website is almost nonexistent. Asides these it is located in a good site with nice environment and enough parking space.

  • Eniibukun Adigun

Light house cinema has a serene environment where you can get to relax after the day's work. The cinema has 4 screens, there's a big concession area where you can stay to wait for your movie. Also there's a games area where you can chill and hangout after seeing your movie. It's a really wonderful experience there.

  • Jesse Ojo

It's a good place to see a movie, the only downside is that most of their screens are on the 7th floor and the elevator is not reliable don't bank on it working anytime you visit so prepare to use the stairs sometimes. Plus it's a place to go on a date cause the movie screens aren't always very full.

  • victor odutokun

They are starting out... So a lot of things still need to be put in place. However what I found unforgivable was that I was sold a doughnut that was stale. That doughnut must have spent 3 weeks at the counter. Why should people be sold expired/stale product? What if I died of food poisoning?

  • Olalekan Baiyewunmi

They have got the latest blockbusters and the cinema is not as crowded as other nearby cinemas and this ensures that you are comfortable thus having a better viewing experience because their is no noise during screening of the movies and less human movement here and there.

  • George Moses

Low quality everything. And everything is way way below standard. Bad and dull environment, no Aesthetics, no cleanliness, bad service, no elevators (you have to climb all the way to the 6th, 7th and 8th floor) It's just an overall dilapidated cinema to be in. Bad choice.

  • Araoluwa Ebenezer

Lights went off in the middle of a movie and after leaving us all in there for about 10 mins, they came to say the movie can't continue, they'll sign on our tickets to come see d movie another day. It was my first time there and will def be the last.

  • Obafemi Babatunde

The greatest movie of all time Avengers was showing and there was actually spoilers in the Cinema before we even got to see the movie. To make matters worse, we had to wait 9hrs for a 4pm movie. The generator was faulty for about an hour

  • Odubiyi John

First, there was a challenge with power which made viewing starts pretty late and there was also a substitution of the Air Conditioning for stable power and to keep viewing rolling. But ultimately the movie was a splendor. Thank You.

  • Jibola Makinde

Fair place. Elevator wasn't working when I was there, had to use stairs. Rest rooms are not excellent. I was there for an all movie night, I don't understand having to shift between different arenas for different movies.

  • Ayodeji Okulaja

Cinema wey no get website. Wetin una wan expect? You can only know which movie they're showing and time when you get there. Or if someone decides to pick your call. But why should you call a cinema in the first place?

  • Adeoye Akingbola

Very poorly managed place. The elevator is like a death trap. The elevator shocks when you touch the side of the elevator. Most times the elevator does not work. I would not even advise my enemy to rent a space there.

  • David Okusanya

This place is cool and serene but it lacks a good audience... It's usually empty... So if you're looking for a private cinema, this is your place but if not make a u-turn. Their movies are also very affordable

  • Adigun Rosane

You prefer not to crowded Cinema? Go to the 5th floor. The have new movies as well. But I did like the fact that it was more like a reserved place. Not everyone likes crowd. And the budget was satisfying.

  • Oyekunle Babatunde

The lift facility is faulty so you have to use the stairs. Though the movie tickets are cheap and they have a very good cinema screen but the seats are not so comfortable like other popular cinemas own..

  • Imaginations Creations

They have several cinema halls, which is great to prevent overcrowding most of the time. I usually prefer to just hang out alone with very minimal interaction so this is just the perfect location for me.

  • adetola olagoke

An up coming cinema house, the ticket is affordable and its easy to locate, situated at Jibowu bus stop close to the popular yaba market, you don't have to travel to the island or Ikeja to see movies.

  • Ben-eze Chidiebere

The service of this cinema is very very poor. They always have power issues with little customer empathy. They really need to do so much more. Their services are par below average.

  • Olanrewaju Ariyo

An upcoming cinema which needs to do a bit better with their services. Drinks served during the movie didn't taste good and I think it made my tummy rumble later in the day.

  • Adenike Daramola

This place needs a lot of improvement. The elevator was not working smoothly. Infact I was scared . I thought it would eventually halt with the way it was sounding.

  • Tinuade Adeegbe

The place is scanty. I got there today and they don't have popcorn or any snacks that's really bad. Asides that their movies are really cheap and good

  • alamutu o. rasheed

Light house cinema is a place where you pay to watch your cinema,it also multi purpose building where different businesses are located.

  • Frank Izu
