*******WARNING*********WARNING******** I utilized Lincoln Funeral Home for the burial of my infant son on 03/25/21 and today is 10/05/22, 1 year and 6mos later. They have yet to file a death certificate for my son. I have been all over Dallas trying to get it at Vital records everywhere. They have never filed it so there is nothing to get. I have been calling them monthly since February of this year. I keep getting the run around and out right horribly rude interactions. I called last week and the phone operator was so annoyed at me being frustrated. I asked her “why are you upset?” and the girl had the audacity to respond “Oh, I am having a great day. I wish yours could be better”, and sighs so pleased with herself. I haven’t been able to file taxes including him because the death certificate is required. I have two other children 2 and 3 yrs old. I support and they are holding up more than $4000 of money. They wrote me a check back in April for $345 for my trouble and promised to refund me the cost once they have the certificate. It’s been 6mos since that promise was made. They do not care about human beings or their loved ones. Else, they would call me back not have me chasing them down once every month and they have called back 4-5 times max. Go somewhere else, because it literally feels like I am still there losing my son all over again every month waiting and fighting with Lincoln. It is absolutely not worth it to take the chance that they will start caring now or going forward with your Loved One’s remains and appropriate documentation. Be blessed and I pray much healing in your time of loss. *************UPDATE 01/2023************** Still no certificate and now all communication has ceased. SMH! I have had to go to the state to report them and to get assistance receiving my son’s death certificate. Please beware and be aware. I pray this is resolved soon.

Good evening, let me start off by saying that I greatly appreciate Lincoln Funeral Home &Memorial for the excellent service that they provided my family and I with lying my mother (Angela Rogers) to rest. But all matters pertaining to her head stone have been the complete opposite. BUT, I too just like the post above by Cynthia Hall, have called several times (more than 5) to get a proof of the paid in full head stone that I was promised to be completed within 8 weeks. It has been paid off since the first week of October and I have provided 3 different people with my email address with no response. My brother and I have paid all this money for this service with nothing in return thus far but empty promises. Today is January 6 2019 and during my last conversation with a representative from Lincoln I was told that a manager would contact me via email with a proof and still nothing. I am a active duty United States Service Member that is just trying to complete my mother's burial. If you cannot honor our contract then return all funds that have been paid and I will find someone else to perform this service for us. Looking forward to a phone call from a manager really really soon. Thanks Update May 20, 2019: I am glad to provide everyone with an update to our long and rough experience with my mother's headstone. Today I received a phone call from the staff of the funeral home that our loving mother's headstone has finally been completed and placed at her burial site. It took way too long and there was much confusion about the multiple contractual agreements and monies paid. We want to thank Lincoln Memorial for the exceptional burial service and for finally completing the correct headstone. Though we are not completely satisfied with the total services provided, we are thankful that it is all complete. Mom we miss and love you dearly!

Hi I have called several times to just get the proof for a stone ordered in September 22, 2018 we purchased a stone cash and have yet to receive the proof. Was promised by the anniversary of my dear mother's death date Dec 3. Still do not have any details yet lots of messages. They Never return calls. ‍♀️ the contract says 21 days after paid in full signed 9/22/2018 we knew it may take a little longer but geez it's November 26, 2018 still no proff emailed as promised and nobody knows anything. I will update you When they decide to call me back. praying it will be this year. Update : 12/12/2018 I did get a call from John the General manager he responded to my message and had someone really nice called me back , all they need was a paper signed. On Dec 12th they email the document I got the signature next day back to them and they offer to place my order quickly and offered a nice keepsake magnetic Marker they apoligized for the delay . My sister went to my moms grave this morning on Christmas Eve Dec 24th already the stone was installed . She sent me pictures. I was so happy had to post a new review. So from the Dec 12th date When I got a call From Michelle and John at Lincoln on Dec 21, 2018a nice marker was delivered to my Home. 12/24/2018. I am so impressed with how quickly, not only kept their word they promised the stone by Christmas and it was received by Christmas Eve a day early. very happy with the service in the end. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas thanks to Michelle and John stepping in and moving things forward. I am impressed with how quickly and professionally they worked on helping me complete this last task in the memory of my dear sweet mother. Thanks to Lincoln Funeral Home the family of Mrs Gladys Faye Henry.

Ima keep giving yall 1 star because y'all are ridiculous!! And Im really tired of having this problem with yall, if I could I would of had my son buried elsewhere I have emailed and called before and my husband has gone up there numerous of times in regards to our sons grave being vandalized by your staff. They have broken items we had left on his headstone & they have stolen numerous of windmills we left out. I know they are being stolen because when I go to that lil white house, it's not in the trash its on the back door step so they can take home. You all should be tired of reimbursing me for items that were thrown away and items y'all have broken. We visit every other weekend and today his angel was missing and his skull that we brought back from our vacation was shattered in the grass. The weekened before that it was broken and some one glued it back together. Im very disappointed in the level of care y'all have and your staff is very disrespectful when it comes to keeping the grounds clean. My husband Brodrick Kennedy will be making an appearance to speak to someone regarding this matter. My son, Kavod Kennedy; just in case you want to look him up in your system. And you will see all the times we have complained and had to make an appearance because our calls and messages was not returned.

I really try not to write bad reviews about companies, however, I am extremely upset about my experience. My Mother transitioned in April 2022 and we decided to use Lincoln Memorial. We completed her headstone payment the first week of June and went back and forth between Spradling and Lincoln Memorial since then to get it approved to be placed. My sisters and I have called and visited several times to see how can we get her headstone placed. We are usually told to contact their staff member Mya and she is either always on lunch or unavailable. I have met with her in person 3 times when I go to pay for my Dad's pre-need plot and was told that it would be approved and was even given the a copy of the paperwork. The headstone was finally approved and took to Lincoln on August 16th, and as of this morning, August 30th, it is still not placed. So in short we have been waiting since June to have this done! I understand that the staff is immune to death and the process, but not having this taken care of has not helped our grieving process. I hope that no other family have to wait months to get their headstone placed when the company has already been paid in full.

My family and I used the transport & burial services at the Lincoln Funeral Home in Dallas, Tx location 2 months ago after our mom passed away in the Dallas area. We only wanted the best and highly recommended. J. Kirby Pulliam and his staff were friendly, compassionate, kind, and professional from start to finish. They handled everything with the sensitivity and ease needed in the difficult area of death. The day we had to come and sign off on documents, select casket, and complete everything was very difficult. But I never felt rushed, prodded, or like it was business as usual. All the logistical items were clear, and they took the time to explain everything in detail. They definitely took our feelings and emotions seriously and that was very much appreciated. Lincoln Funeral Home Services showed great respect and care throughout. When I recently called and requested a document, Quisha was very responsive and provided the information I needed right away. No hoops to jump through, or multiple calls to make. I highly recommend them. Thank you Lincoln Funeral Home! You truly made a difference during such a difficult time. Carolina & Family

With the loss of my twin sister LaShonda Howard, I was given a recommendation to try Lincoln after a few appointments with other local funeral homes. Kirby and Mya exceeded my expectations hands down. This funeral home cost was thousands less from what I was quoted from others. Due to the upcoming holiday I was on a time crunch for the program and slide show. I had a vision for my sister's program but had anxiety if my request was even possible. Mya brought my vision to life. Everyone that has seen the obtuiary said its the best program they have ever seen and very detailed. What a way to share the memories of our love one. My sister had a love for music. Kirby was very professional and even had a soloist and saxophone player ready for us for he memorial. During this tough time Lincoln took care of us. I would give them more than 5 stars and reccomend them to care for your love one during your most difficult time. Thank you Thank you Lincoln Memorial

Now to continue this review. If I could post the pictures that I took of my mom to show how poorly they did her body, I would. I didn't have a problem with correcting their mistake but I just didn't want to do it. I was told by several people that she looked good. I wanted to let them know it wasn't because Lincoln did a great job, they shouldn't be given any credit. It's been a little over a month since my mom has been buried. My sister and niece went to visit her grave this week and found God knows what in her grave, which I will post pictures of that. Lincoln Memorial you have to do better and be better than what you were to my mom. I pray that no one else's family have to deal with what we had to. It was too many mistakes, I have more to list but I will leave it right here. Due to your errors, I am now under doctor's care for this stress. At this point, if you guys prepared animals, I wouldn't recommend.

Losing a loved one unexpectantly is incredibly difficult, but Lincoln Funeral Home & Memorial Parks met our family's needs! While the whole team was helpful, Lawanda (Michelle) Tyeskie was the absolute best!! She was always available to answer our questions and she was incredibly responsive (via email, phone, and text). Michelle explained all the visitation and funeral service details, shared our church options in the Dallas area, discussed insurance details, and was the liason between our family and the DFW National Cemetery to make sure our family member was laid to rest with his Military honors! I would recommend Lincoln Funeral Home for other families too, just be sure to request Michelle Tyeskie. Other team members that were helpful were Kirby (General Manager), Tawana (Angel) Carrol (Family Service Counselor), and Lamar (Service Support). Thank you, Lincoln Team!

I was okay with this place until today. I paid this headstone off on May 13th... today, May 26th not one contact has been made about confirming the headstone before it is created via email or phone. I had to call them TWICE to get an answer on when I would be contacted. Just because the person who originally helped me set it up the account was no longer employed there... I guess they were going to sit on that $980 until I said something. 10 business days! That's 2 weeks of waiting. 2 weeks my father's headstone could have been in process to reach him sooner with the possibly of getting there by Father's Day. I even asked the incompetent lady, Kisha, Kim whatever her name was, about not being contacted and her response was "I just process the confirmations and send it off to be created". No apology or even a bit of compassion. Never again!

  • Karen Dyer

Funeral home appearance and structure is nice. But.... 1. The staff is horrible. Attending a wake for my cousins husband. No one from the staff escorted the previous family out in a timely fashion for the next wake. Can't hear in the chapel because the previous family is in the front talking loud. 2. My mother purchased a headstone for she and my sister. They told her they would call her when it was done to check for corrections before placing the headstone on the plot. No call to check for corrections. They placed it without her checking the headstone for corrections. Their names are wrong. They then informed her that they could not change it because it has already been placed on the plot. Money lost, and no one will be able to find the marker because the names on the headstone are INCORRECT.

The staff was very very professional they took care of myself as if I was family. They spoke to very professionally to everyone they can in contact with. We were treated with dignity and respected all of our wishes. The staff was very knowledgeable of what they were doing. I could not have a had a better experience during this trying and difficult time. Mrs Stone maintained her professionalism even when heated family situations would arise. Mrs. Stone maintained her professionalism throughout the process. Mr. S. Hill was an awesome speaker and a great assistant to the director. My family was so impressed with the services they requested the directors information. I would recommend Lincoln to everyone in need of your services. Thanks Lincoln Respectfully Mrs. Jonathan O Jackson Sr and Family.

Well as of all the other reviews, burying my son was not a problem, it's the headstone that is the problem. I was asked to approve a proof that I did not pay for. Apparently, this has been happening a lot lately. After I said no, I was told that I would get an email with the correct proof. I have yet to receive that email and when I called I was told that the lady who handles that was not in the office and she would contact me. I'm still waiting on that email and that phone call. I have been going back and forth contacting them to provide a service that I have paid them to perform...this is not a good look. So much for getting my son's headstone down before June 23(his bday). By the way it looks it will be Dec, hopefully.

If I could give them a negative star I would. My aunt Hazel Knight passed away on June 11, 2022 and her services were on June 24, 2022. The day she passed she was beautiful her skin color was glowing her face was plump her arms were not wrinkled she was a fair complexion. I understand the body changes after your heart stops pumping. But Lincoln funeral home mutilated my aunts body her skin was wrinkle and they had her 100 times darker.I had to bury my husband who was almost decapitated and he looked nothing as hideous as they had her looking. The grounds were very unkept and ghetto looking. They staff (or lady who answers the phone) or the front desk never knows anything. I DO NOT recommend this funeral home.

  • David Pearson

OMG!!! To whom this may concern, My name is David Pearson. I would like to, say thanks to the staff of Lincoln funeral home!! I was very impressed with the services that was performed Wednesday May, 6 2020 at 1pm at The Mount Hermon MBC 4150 E. Rosedale. The service was for my brother in law Johnathan Jackson and you all did a great job with him! The staff that was present did a very very professional job as they conducted the service! I know the times that we’re living In today has forced many companies to minimize their staff. However and I must say that your staff from being to end exceeded my expectations! Thanks for serving the my family!! Job well done!! David Pearson

Horrible experience and a huge regret that we chose this location for my mother-in-law. A combination of horrible customer service and lack of care from the staff is all my family has received from Lincoln. We were told they were not sure of the exact location of her burial site and the horrendous shape the grounds are in made it even more difficult for us to find her. We were given the run around for weeks by multiple different staff members. While I understand this is a business, the Lincoln staff did not make our loss any easier and showed no care or empathy during our hardest time. 10/10 would not recommend. If we could go back we would've never gone with Lincoln.

  • Sandra Perry

I have a preneed contract set up with this funeral home. Over the last several months i have not received statements in the mail. When i inquire they are discourteous.I am at a loss because I don't drive and when I go someone takes me .When I did the business office DID NOT DO WHAT THEY SAID. They were supposed to provide me with a statement and did not so I could not pay. The problem is the longer payment is not received the more interest increases and nothing goes to the principal. I hope no one else has to deal with this and the reason I chose them is because many of my loved ones are there resting . I do not recommend them at all.

  • Tommy Johnson

We put our mom in a mausoleum in March 2021. We thought this was one of our best options for her, but it turns out it was not. We paid for a plaque, vase, & picture. Here we are in November & she only has her plaque up. This is sooooo UNACCEPTABLE how they treat our loved ones we have paid to be laid to Rest In Peace. I have have had flowers in my car for months to put in my mom’s vase, I have yet been able to do this. We need this RESOLVED NOW!!!! This is a hard enough time already, I really thought they were here to help with our grief, they have made matters worse. Will never do business with them EVER AGAIN!!!!

  • Patricia Waller

Thanks to all of the Lincoln staff for an outstanding job of service for my brother, Lucious Green Jr. Especially Mrs. LaWanda Stone, Mr. Steven Hill and Mr. Kirby for the awesome job of making sure everything was done to perfection. Mr. Hill stated, WE GOT YOU MS. PAT, and believe you me he did. Mrs. Stone stated the ball rolling on the night of my brother's death, and I don't know what she did after that, but he was put away so peacefully. My family was provided with more than enough good food so I wouldn't have to. Just saying thanks is not enough for the all of their kindness and thoughtfulness and love.

  • Blessed and Highly Favored

I can’t rave enough about the quality of service we received at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Every single person I reached out to or worked with was incredible. Mya’s attention to detail was impeccable, customer service and response time amazing. During such a difficult time Mya was there every step of the way to answer questions, guide me and truly help us through one of the most difficult times we’ve ever faced. Thank you Lincoln Memorial, I appreciate all you did for us. Especially Mya who went above and beyond! The Gardner family will forever be grateful for your service!

  • Christi Phillips

Lincoln Funeral Home and Cemetery has a delightful staff who demonstrated care, compassion, and excellence in the caring of my Aunt. Throughout the process of finalizing the Celebration of Life, the Lincoln staff, led by Mr. Steven Hill quickly and clearly responded to my family's concerns and questions. One of the most excellent things they did for us was to honor the pre-burial plan pricing, though even though we had not completed paying for the services. Our family is grateful to work with Lincoln and highly recommends them to anyone seeking out funeral services.

What can l say. Lawanda is the most compassionate person l have ever met. During the loss of my loved one she went above and beyond making sure that everything was the way l had asked for it to be. She gave herself from the heart and truly knew exactly what to do and say at all times. If my loved one could have met her while he was alive l am definitely sure he would give her even more praise than l have. Thanks for all you did and continue to do. You are a natural in this industry. Lisa McConnell

My mother headstone was placed down. I went to see it and the words are not black like I approved. It is a rusty look but you see were the black coloring on some letters. I contact the office, the first gentleman was very nice, even clean headstone. It still looks rusty not black. So he told me contact manager, the person I got not so nice, told me the head of the cemetery would contact me. I haven’t heard from anyone yet. Left another message today. It is NOW 2021 no return call yet

  • Ericky V

My experience at Lincoln Funeral Home was great. Mrs. Tawana Carroll made me feel welcomed, comforted me in my hour of need, and made me feel loved. My neighbor told me to ask for her directly. He told me Mrs. Carroll treated him with kindness and love. But I never would have imaged how much! She really is a dream come true. She gave me a little light when all i could see was darkness. I hope Lincoln can keep Mrs. Carroll around for many years to come. She truly is a shining star!

  • Charles White

I think Lincoln is one of the better funeral homes that really take time to help the family sit and talk to them and just tell them all the opportunities they have to do and going through and they step by step with you through the funeral after the front they continue to contact you and make sure that you're all right my family have been using them for decades my great-great-great-grandmother and father use them we are six generations strong with them I think they are the best

  • Courtney B Wright

Never seen at a funeral the family has to insert a love one because the funeral home couldn’t accommodate with the proper service tools on top of placing a simple flower vase over the mausoleum because the screws are missing. It’s been a year I’m sure this is just pure laziness. The GM needs to do better on returning phone calls and then people wouldn’t have to go through spending money on lawyers to get some services done that were PAID for a year ago. DO YOUR JOB!

  • R Kirby

I would like to commend Chris for a job well done. He is very professional and pays attention to detail with a great follow up. He doesn’t leave anything undone and assisted me well. He’s patients, care/concern and ability to allow you to hear his smile over the phone and it was a bigger smile in person is priceless . Your company is luck and truly blessed to have him. Kudos on an exemplary job Chis … Rochelle Kirby (Debra Smith family)

Steven Hill worlds can't and won't EVER explain how thankful and grateful I am to have meet you. Steven went over and beyond to bring me comfort when God sent his Angels for my son. The passion he showed for his work in preparing my son for his Home Going Celebration words can't explain. Steven Hill will Forever be part of my family and will Forever have a place in my heart. Steven Hill May God Continue To Bless You And Your Family.

  • lueseuse mcafee

I don't like how they go through the cemetery and pick and choose who flowers to remove and other items if not in a flower pot if you going to remove one remove all are don't touch know one's what they need to pay more attention to people love one's gravesite that you can't see off in the ground high grass cover the site instead of messing with gravesite that or clean and neat.this need to be brought to the owner attention.

  • RACC J

Both of my parents and many in my extended family are buried here. They purchased their own plots way back in the 1970's. It's unexplainable to describe the pain of loss, particularly of a loved one. But, I believe Lincoln Funeral Home and Cemetery does their best to provide comfort and service during your time of need. The landmark does need some updates, particularly with the graves. The upkeep is at times challenging.

  • Victor Johnson

I was extremely impressed with my interaction with Caron Sneed, one of the advisors there at Lincoln. She was extremely knowledgeable, very communicative, and more than anything, so pleasant and personable, especially during a rather difficult time for me and my family. In the funeral service industry, “customer care” and the first impression is extremely important and she’s is a master at both.

  • CRYSTAL LEWIS

I will like to say thank you to everyone at Lincoln funeral home. You all are great thank you so much. But I will like to say I very very very special thank you to Mr.Steven hill you have help me more then you know. You are now a part of my family. Mrs.Tawana Carroll is the BEST!! She served us with dignity and respect! My uncle and I, came in to purchase a headstone for my grand dad who has been deceased since 2008 and didn’t have a headstone. We came in and talked with Mrs.Carroll and she got the job done!! She is the BEST family service counselor and she treat all of her families with love & care!!! Thank you Mrs.T!!

  • Laleezee RN

I came in from Los Angeles for father's day 6/17/18 to visit my dads grave site. What I found was deplorable. The grounds are not kept up at all. I called and spoke to the staff and I was promised that they would clean his grave site, but that is besides the point. No one want to see a cemetery looking like it has been abandoned. Who governs cemeteries? I'm beyond upset.

  • Brittna Valenzuela

During a very difficult time, what a professional experience with the Lincoln Memorial staff. This team exhibited a high level of support, encouragement and sensitivity. We were so pleased and grateful. I would highly recommend Lincoln as an organization you can trust to handle your needs as if you were family. That is how we felt… like we were in the hands of family.

  • Natasha Musco

My mom was admitted into the baylor hospital because of her legs giving out on her. Shortly she was in ICU so I researched about Lincoln Funeral home. My step father and I went to inquire about their services. We were absolutely pleased with their services. Casket, flowers, and their services were great. I would recommend Lincoln Funeral home to all my family members.

  • Jeigh Johnson

Recently lost my mom and entrusted her to Lincoln. My Funeral Director Stephen was amazing. He made sure everything was as we asked and made my moms look like she was peacefully sleeping. He was able to embody her spirit and He helped to make one of the worst times in my life more tolerable. Thank you Stephen and all of the staff at Lincoln Memorial!!!

  • Lashaye Allen

My name is Linda Simmons. I have used your services many of times with and for my family throughout the years. Ms.Tawana Carroll has been a great help in our time of need. She's very helpful and sympathetic to the other, I don't think I/we would have gotten thru things without her help. With that being said, THANK YOU MS.TAWANA CARROLL for everything.

  • Myrtle Dorsey

My family and I received the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER RENDERED BY MR. ARMANDO. We were searching for 3 love ones in the cemetery that we could not locate. He took us to 2 of their grave sites and was very very courteous. You don't find customer service like this very often nowadays. You should be SINCERELY GRATEFUL for an employee like MR. ARMANDO!

  • Shaneqia Sanders

My father was laid to rest there and we finally completed paying for his headstone. It was supposed to be put out on his gravesite two weeks ago and it still hasn't been put down. When my mother went to check on the status of this they said that they couldn't find him in the system. This was very heart breaking for my family especially my mother.

  • Nickesha Stephens

Andrew and I were searching for his brother of 26 years ago. Shametria went out of her way to find the block number and everything. Marcus also went out of his way to find the exact plot by driving there and even sent us pictures of the exact space 6A. I am so . They are So compassionate about what they do. May God bless LMC abundantly!!!!

My experience with Lincoln Funeral Home has been phenomenal. My siblings and I lost both of our parents in a 6 month time span and the staff went above and beyond to assist us in the process, answer every question and be there in our time of need. I cannot seem to thank them enough for their professionalism and support during this time.

  • Mary Vick

I had the pleasure speaking with Ms. Patricia and Ms. Tawanda Carroll , both ladies were extremely nice with great customer service. I discussed my concerns and Ms.Carroll ensured that she would put in a request for maintenance and that they are short staffed. I clearly understood. Both ladies were very nice and helpful.

  • Dom Berry

Had a wonderful homegoing experience for my cousin with Lincoln Funeral Home. From start to finish everything was truly easeful and my family and I felt very well supported and taken care of. The director Ms. Stone was truly a gem in assisting my family during this difficult time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Mrs. Davila is a blessing to the industry, to Lincoln Funeral Home. The caring and professionalism exhibited by Mrs. Davila is unparalleled. During our most trying time her compassion, thoughtfulness, and respect shown toward our family was unexpected, but so appreciated. Thank you!

  • Clifton Sullivan

This past weekend was Mothers Day. Knowing that this will be the businest visitation weekend of the year, management should have taken the decency to have the grass cut at and around grave sites. This was so disappointing to see. As a matter of fact I was embarrassed...... WOW!

  • Tiffany Edwards

Martha and Vincent had exceptional service. This was my first time with planning services and all my questions were answered and they were extremely helpful with making decisions that I had no idea how to about I appreciate all of their help and thank them very very much.

TRASH. DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. I'm for black-owned but at this point throw it away. Poor service, poor management, poor professionalism. And this coming from a family that paid upfront! I hope yall one day would let Dignity buy yall out.
