March '22 update: conditions may have improved and while I'm not visiting often, a fourth star seems warranted! Yay. However, no one ever responded to my early 2019 email per instructions in the owner reply to this review. ‍♀️ It's close to where I live and it's okay/ can be fun! I get some beer or a drink here sometimes. I really appreciate the outdoor standing & seating. It's more expensive than at nearby Billy's. Sometimes I watch some college football or basketball but I personally usually don't go based on inspiration about a game that might be on. [Aug. '21 observation: However, they seem to randomly close when they're supposed to be open until midnight or on a specific day that they choose when they're slow or I daresay irresponsible about their business. The screens & the lights are still on, they're supposed to be open until midnight and they're not. So that's annoying. It's not even 11:30 pm.] This has improved but it can be hit or miss with the bar staff. Some of them seem to have a problem before you even order your drink. Well, I didn't come here for a surly attitude. I have a child at home and I'd like to get a beer, is that allowed? But some of them are really nice and efficient. The inconsistency has left me unimpressed in the past.

One star for a super nice waitress who was working really hard between tons of tables. There are no prices on any of the drinks. The waitress - once again, super nice - came over and told me from memory al the prices for all the beers. They're not particularly cheap either. An Electric Jellyfish was $7.25 before tax. Compare that to $6 at Workhorse after tax. And almost all the drinks are served in plastic cups. Yuck. It's cute outside but super duper loud inside. At first glance, it seems like a nice place to watch "the game" but on second thought its basically impossible to talk to other folks at your table... makes game-watching unpleasant. And the food is really not nice. I'm not sure what kind of health code rule they're following, but they don't adhere to practices of sustainability by any stretch. My buddy got a salad, which was served boxed in a plastic container, with plastic cutlery, and without any plate. And when I asked for water this other member of the waitstaff looked at me like I was crazy, pointed at the water station near the door. Unpleasant. Not worth time or money.

Circled the patio with my dog, looking for someone who worked there, before approaching the bar and asking if it's a seat yourself situation, bartender said "yep" and turned around. There was no online menu, no qr menu and no servers at all. I sat with my dog for 45mins not being asked once by any of the workers if I needed to order anything. Apparently it's a seat AND serve yourself establishment. They were fairly busy so obviously there's a way to place an order. I just assume when I enter your business I shouldn't have to seek out and obtain service. If I have to hunt for someone to place an order with, I'll just go elsewhere which is what I did.

Nice little neighborhood bar with a decent beer selection. There is a good selection of sports on TV and they will usually find your game for you. They also have a number of theme nights or fun games or activities if you're into that kind of thing. It's also partially outdoors to enjoy the nice weather or to feel more comfortable in these covid times. Staff is friendly and drinks are reasonably priced. Taking off one star because it's difficult to see the tap wall in the dim lighting. Sadly the restaurant space next door is vacant. I hope something nice goes in there to provide some food with the drink.

Little Woodrow's on Burnet is a bar, it's just a bar not a special bar, not an unspecial bar! you can get lots of beer here, many choices! they have plenty on tap, plenty of bottle, lots of IPA's just take a gander at their menu. They offer plenty of spirits but I wouldn't think their bartenders as being cleverly ambitious or creative and if you don't mind the 5 or 6 maybe 20 dogs barking as you're trying to have a conversation it's a great little spot to walk to enjoy, have a conversation with the person next to you, its just a bar norhing more, it's exactly what you want...

Third time being here, must say it’s never a disappointment. Deyton has been my bartender these past few times and I have to praise the woman! She was able to perfectly recreate a drink I get from another bar. Overall, the drinks are even better than most places & the vibe is great. To top things off, the service is on point and never leaves you with an empty drink. Definitely will be returning soon. Thanks for the hospitality

Nice beer selection, they also have a full bar but I'm a beer guy. Always have new beers on tap and some good specials going on during the week as well. Lots of TVs to watch sports and a good jukebox playing as well. The best part though, is that they have a great patio and can open up the doors to the main bar. On a nice day, if you want to be "outside" but not directly in the weather you can. They are also dog friendly. The staff can sometimes get a little overwhelmed, but otherwise, it's a great bar.

  • Jerry Reynolds

Been coming here for about 3 years. 2-3 times a week. Pending on who’s working you might get great service. But no promises. The other locations are way better. At least the ones I go to. (Tech Ridge and Parmer locations) They always greet you nice and and make conversation. This location you should bring a big flag in to get there attention otherwise they will stay talking to there bar backs etc.

  • Wendy Fossett

The bartenders were very nice. The drinks were average price and good. It's doors are wide open and there is a outside deck with plenty of picnic tables. There are several big screen TVs. They don't have food, but said we could bring some from one of the restaurants around them and we did. There were a couple of dogs on leashes. There was a breeze and it was a very pleasant experience.

Burnet is happening and Little Woodrow's moved in! This is an Austin go to bar. I remember this being a little smaller than the LW's off Guadalupe (RIP), and parking was much harder! The wait wasn't bad for 6pm Thursday, but group seating was a bit harder. If you've been to Little Woodrow's before, this is a great place for an afternoon happy hour if you live in the hood.

  • The boujie man Muennink

Food took too long and came out cold. The bartenders are very unexperienced and young women who did not know anything about state issued licenses

I absolutely love this bar. The staff are friendly and the drinks are very well priced. They have an assortment of games too, from retro style Pacman to board games! The jukebox can be selected from your phone as well, which is a super nifty idea. I always suggest this bar whenever I need somewhere to grab a bite to eat (of some delicious pizza) and a pint!

  • Chris

it's a great neighborhood spot and fun place to hang. The overall increase in traffic on Burnet might deter me from making it a frequent stop though. The parking nearby is of questionable legitimacy - it's probably fine and if I went more often I would master it, but the first time made me start to second-guess if I'd be towed.

  • john martinez

An instant classic and favorite, Little Woodrow's is paired with a pizza place. Combine bar+pizza+the amazing patio and you have a perfect recipe for a great time. Whether it's by yourself on a Sunday afternoon to watch a game or with a group of friends Friday night, I can all but gaurantee you will have a great time!

  • Mary Matragrano

This bar is a laid-back and the bartenders are all very friendly. My run group meets here and then hangs out here every week. They don't serve food, but you're always welcome to bring or get food delivered there.

We went on a Sunday afternoon. The parking here is very limited, although some businesses open up there lots for use after regular business hours (6pm or so). They have good beer specials throughout the week and steak night specials! The big 50 club is a fun gimmick that gets you to try new beers.

  • Russ Ryan

Limited parking is a bummer. So was the lack of air conditioning but they had all the patio windows open so might ha e just been the time of day? Sort of small but if you had the space to yourself with a group of friends it would be pretty cool. Great spot if you live in the neighborhood.

  • David Reagan

Popped in to watch the England-Columbia World Cup match and was greeted by very nice bartenders, a varied choice quality draft beer, and a full bar. There are plenty of big TVs for the sports loving types, indoor and outdoor seating, and something to gnosh so you can drink more beer.

  • Ramble Onward

No food available, minimal parking, complain about parking out front. Wait staff were rude, of Pinthouse weren’t closed for renovations we’d never have given them a chance, and now won’t be coming back.

Walked in 10 after it opened and there were people having a meeting no bartender was around not sure if the people in the meeting were owners or partners they were discussing beer selections but we never got served after about 7 minutes of standing at the bar we just walked out.

  • Liv Cannon Chiumento

Went here to watch the NBA finals and had a great time. It was crowded, people were drunk and having fun, and the TVs were loud. Basically everything you want when you go to a bar to watch a game with friends. Those surprised by this atmosphere might be in the wrong place.

  • CatZ Meow

Well we only came in for a beer after work and this place was exactly what we were looking for. Indoor and outdoor seating is a plus. Bar staff, Lindsey, was friendly and greeted us as we walked in. Asked for a shiner, expecting a little pint but got a stine instead! Win!

  • Yzamar Rivera

The atmosphere here is great. Cozy and not overwhelming like some other places can be. Service was wonderful and can't beat the prices. They even had a few games to borrow and play. Do recommend

The bartenders don't listen to what you want. Roll their eyes if they're corrected on the order they got wrong. And basically don't correct their wrong orders. I will never come back again. Would've been a great atmosphere had the bartenders taken a class on work ethics.

  • Dave Kessler

Chill spot. Terrible parking situation but very cool place to have a drink or two. It's open and outdoor feeling even though it's right next to a major road. Bartenders a quick to serve you and the wait for a drink is almost zero. Much better than the 6th Street version.

  • Mark Barrientez

Beer was cold. We sat outside, so it was a little hot. They had fans so they did a good job with that. Not sure if they have food, but we just had a few beers. Bartender was nice. Nice laid back spot.

unfriendly staff, incredibly small parking area, wifi sucks, theres some sort of restaurant sharing the building but they'll still have food trucks come and set up out front? seating is a bit tight. they have a good selection of draft and bottled beers.

  • Chelle Flores

I was asked for my ID at a table in a rude way. When I told him I was not okay with how he asked me he insisted he asked the same way to anyone he does not know. He said if I have a problem with it I can leave. He mentioned more than once I

Great shaded patio. Neighborhood bar with good selection of draft beer, cider, and cocktails. Trivia is fun and pizza place next door if you want food. Located in the Burnet bar area with lots of food and drink options on walking distance.

  • Jamie Aucoin

Hands-down one of my favorite neighborhood bars. They have a huge outdoor seating area and garage doors that they open on nice weather days. There's also the pizza place next door that'll bring food over to you if you're in the bar.

  • Andy Jung

This is the fourth place I’ve been today that advertised food but doesn’t have any. I have been driving around for two hours. Please stop advertising food if you don’t have it regularly. I just wasted a ton of gas and I’m starving.

This was a great little stop when I lived in the area. Good staff, nice management and Brooklyn pies right next door that have no problem bringing your stuff to you. Hit it up for Happy Hour and avoid the traffic headache.

  • I Rincon

Nice spot to chill, talk and have a few drinks. We were in town for a baseball tournament and really didn’t want to head to 6th street with the chaos of drunks so finding this spot was welcoming. Drinks were tasty …

  • Caitlin Johnson

Little Woodrow’s Neighborhood Bar is the beer (and dog) lovers' place for sports, also, daily drink specials. :) I love that they're next to a great pizza place and their deck is one of my favorites in the neighborhood.

  • Joshua Love

Staff was nice, but their parking situation is lame. Broke my car on their poorly place yellow curb. Need better parking sign visibility and something to mark the curbs end, so another person doesn't drive into it.

  • tyler stewart

Careful of this place. They’ll add beers to your tab. Check your receipt before you close out, and make sure you close out! Their sign of 20% tip on a walked tab doesn’t include the 3 extra beers they add to it

  • Kelly Kamm

Awesome neighborhood feel, lots of seating. There's trivia on Tuesdays! The large garage doors open to connect the inside with the outside after the sun goes down, misting fans going helps when it's summer.

  • Mercedes Munselle

It was a great atmosphere, but the mixed drinks were pretty awful. I've never had an Old Fashioned that watered down and lacking bourbon. The beer was great though and so is the pizza place next door.

  • Lindsay Lyle

This place is so friendly!!!! Very chill vibe. have a great atmosphere, amazing staff, great drinks and having a food place next door isn't too bad!!! Definitely a must for Austinites and tourists.

  • P S

It was a fun time. Exceptions are: we waited a long time for our drinks, the bartender barely attended to us, bathrooms are tiny as well. Beer was good but a bit over priced for a place like this.

  • Aaron Henderson

Dozens of draft beers, drink specials, lively patio, jukebox, pets, sports...this place checks all the boxes. I love this place! I’m not the mayor but it has been my home bar for over a year now

  • Emily Hejl

The worst staff ever. When the entire clientele is there for a game and you cut it off right when we win bc you can’t wait to get home to play Xbox and ruin everyone’s night.... worst bar ever

  • greg's art

Sat at the bar for 10 min. 4 people behind bar, i saw one bartender give one person a beer. No one even said hello. These folks could care less about customer service/ experience. Epic fail.

  • Christophe Desaubliaux

went for happy hour with work colleagues. The place is OK but nothing more. There is a possibility to buy pizzas next door, but the service was slow. It was also quite slow to get drinks.

  • Bruce Czech

Bad service. 3 games going on the front porch but sound is blaring for the Eagles game inside. Bar maid says I'm wrong and won't send anyone out to fix it. Perfect if you like five bars.

  • Morgan Adam

I was having a bad day. And the bar tenders were really sweet to me and served me chips and salsa on the house as I drank beer until I felt better. Thanks guys. I really appreciate it.
