Vegetarian breakfast tomatoes beans toast egg where are the hash browns and mushrooms? Because I'm a vegetarian I have to pay an extra charge for the food. But a full English gets everything. You could of done a full English for me minus the sausage and bacon and black pudding. I could of made a better fly up at home! My partner doesn't like mushrooms and when brought out mushrooms were on his plate he said no no no mushrooms the young lady rudely walked away! The elder lady was very lovely and welcoming! I wanted a cheese toastie with my breakfast instead of having toast and that came out before my breakfast. Good job I ordered the toastie because I wouldn't of ate otherwise... Will not bother with this place again nor recommend. I'm a chef of 10 years not impressed

Service is good overall, although their hygiene standards are poor, and they can get a little confused with any thing complex as I've been there since I was a child and I've noticed if you don't mind a bit of grim / stuck on food on your plates, cups, knifes and forks then your fine or the odd hair in your meal, I don't mind personally but when I have taken friends there they have been discussed and haven't eaten their meal. Also when you tell the staff at Lyn's they are not willing to offer a replacement, even though your a dissatisfied customer. I guess that the café has its regulars and they are happy with the food.

Absolutely filthy dirty, highchair broken and covered in dry caked on food, the straps were filthy and sticky, I wiped the tray with a baby wipe and it was black! Floors dirty, tables dirty and sticky, staff not overly friendly (probably because we aren't locals) were more interested in talking socially to some prostitue/druggy woman stood at the till for half hour but not actually buying anything! The place needs cleaning and revamping, I don't know how on earth it's got good reviews I really don't! The food wasn't even nice. If you want nice food in a clean place cafe twoten across the road is absolutely beautiful.

Just recently started going to this place a few months the food is absolutely epic, the staff are wonderful the prices are reasonable ... overall it's a great place to get something to eat maybe to start your day maybe to finish your day... Very much recommended!!!!

Lovely service and atmosphere whilst in the shop with space to move around and set up a table for a family if need be. Two different areas to eat and the owners are super friendly and will help you out with stuff and service if needed without annoyance. The food is cooked quick and is of good quality, had never had a fault with the food.
