Had a case here a number of years ago but didn't leave a review at the time. Judge Osborne ruled in favour of evicting me from my flat despite me having recorded evidence of my letting agency threatening me, proof of them entering my flat illegally, and proof they'd been collecting my post so I had no way of knowing about/challenging the eviction proceedings (they wanted the flat back to turn it into an Air b&b). Osborne even said I was lying about the letting agency having my post *minutes after* he was shown a photograph of the post provided by the letting agency themselves???!!?!? (They were trying to argue I hadn't been residing at the address and this was the reason they'd collected it.) My solicitor told me Osborne enjoys picking on people he perceives as being weak (I suffer from severe OCD) but personally I wouldn't say I'm weaker than a man whose ability to process information logically is as severely impaired as his was. It's a pity people like him are too self-absorbed to ever stop to consider how ridiculous they look to others when they so obliviously twist the narrative to suit themselves. Then again I guess that's why he's in a job where people require his permission to speak, because that way he's able to manufacture and control whatever self-serving narrative he likes, suggesting perhaps a modicum of self-awareness

This Review is for multiple queries to Machester Family Courts: I'm two months into an enquiry regarding a discrepancy with a Final Order. Different Final Orders have been issued to parents. Asking the Family Enquiries Team to look into this and issue the correct version to both parents should be fairly straight forward yet I'm here again two months afterwards with no updates. They do not listen, they put the phone down they have no empathy and no understanding. Good luck to anyone dealing with them and their sloth style approach at handling issues. *edit 4 months - still chasing* *further edit - still waiting* Attempt at applying for a C79 Enforcement Order with Manchester Family Courts 6th September 2021 - Courts confirmed they're received a C79 form. According to the Child Arrangement Programme 21.2, cases must be seen within 20 days. Courts have refused this and told me this time frame doesn't exist as they're waiting on CAFCASS. 23 days has passed Further EDIT: I complained to the courts as they did not follow their own procedures and was compensated for the courts (which is backed by the LAW) for the delays they created. This doesn’t even deserve one star!

I haven't seen any reviews before about this court, but this court us corrupt and under judge Matharu who totally ignored documented evidence ruined Tracey Garry's life by taking away ger freedom simply because Trafford social services under manager's pat Darbyshire abd Yvette Copues covered up stolen money from client's from 2010 to 2014 and used the mental health act after the council social services forced tracey to take Haloperidol and Valium in high doses to give them control over her to stop her asking questions about her stolen money and property and the council told the police and the court lies and the manager Pat Darbyshire had committed fraud by altering evidence which the court and the police ignored because of corruption.

The administration and legal staff in this court is pathetic. 1 - Too many mistakes made in court orders made by district Judge. 2 - Constant delay and forgetting to send on time or not sent if changes to be onsite or remote. 3 - Rude and maladministration with wrong advice and process, having members staff pointing fingers at departments, but in the end they need to remember, is the Family court, and not departments responsibility.^ 4 - Till this date, I never received an ammended final court order with amended name, they sent an order with someone´s elses name. This is escalated, but things like this is irresponsible, and a complete joke.

I've been in dispute with my landlord a man who thinks he can get away with doing electrics without a EICR Report with Bolton council complicit in his skull duggery they are without doubt corrupt and as he has over 50 plus properties who he pertains to let through Bolton council. So that's why he gets away with total disregard to his the health and safety of his Tennant's. But he's bount to do isn't he if the council are to all intense and purpose acting as his Tennant's. But unfortunately for him this time he was dealing with me. I am the first person to beat him and it cost him roughly £18.000

First of all they don't even deserve 1star The judge are totally useless and corrupt she is cheating with parents all the times, I had 5 hearings and she is just delaying my case, every time I'm going to next hearing and give as new dates ,like come back after 2months or 3months,if this is a family court and how they are working, I'm very disappointed with court and UK's law They are just having fun with family cases and breaking the family system , even Bolton local authority and police are not following the court orders and rules., And the judge are working with them as aTeam work

Do not take people s state of mind onto account .Don't care what happens to the other person when asked to leave the family home, left with no where to live .told had to be out the family home on a Friday afternoon, estate agent close half day on a Saturday, This is not good for some one who is on the autistic spectrum, Data protection act has also been broken as twin with the same initials has been sent the court print out .Not good !!! .I THOUGHT A FAMILY WAS THE WHOLE UNIT .NOT JUST ONE PERSON AND THE KIDS . BROTHER IN LAW TREATED DISGUSTINGLY . I HOPE YOU HAVE BETTER LUCK !!!!

  • Diane

It was closed yesterday due to plumbing problems, the whole place is surrounded by cafe places so using their loos wouldn't have been a problem, we didn't get texted but emailed which ob you don't check as much, so had to dive back in a taxi home to do an online webcam meeting instead. Then to be told until more assesments have been done it can't go ahead till either end of August or maybe in November !! I can't comment on the actual building as no one was allowed inside.

  • Damion

It's a family court. Very rarely does something nice or good happen here. Filled with magistrates who don't really make a decision. The true decisions are made by social services and children's guardians. Watch your step when you go in here it is filled with pretentious and judgement all around. We all know sometimes judgement can be unfair and just because they sit in these walls they act like Gods but in actual fact they aren't they are just people doing a job

  • Mrs Maggs

Absolutely shocking judges who are intent on breaking up families and favouring the mothers... even if the mothers are the ones who should be locked up and have the children taken off them. No wonder there are loving fathers using suicide as an option when dealing with these idiotic power freaks who should hang their heads in absolute shame! You’re a disgrace and all these poor children lead a terrible life because of your actions

  • Daumantas Samanskas

Received a phone call about tax evasion, I bet it is a scam, as Officer Mike Miles called me and told me that I haven't accepted a letter from HMRC for too long and it was bounced back. They forced me to pay money without giving me an online payment receipt or the access to make the payment. I personally don't think this is how it is handled and I flag this company for fraud, anyone had similar situation?

  • Stuart Potts

The worst unjust place on the earth where lies are encouraged and compiled again loving caring parents they all side with corporate people and love to rip families apart causing people to have breakdowns and sometime even kill themselves as I have many of my good friends do this as a result of what they've done to them corrupt unjust courts it should be renamed

  • Ste May

Corruption is rife at this court and has been for the last 20 years , the judges are so far up their own arses im surprised they can see daylight. Solicitors barristers and judges all feeding each others pockets, corruption fraud and deception throught this court not to mention lost paperwork numerous times bit too convenient !!! CORRUPTION

  • Shezad Hamid

Biggest crooks in the world. Took fee from me 3 times. And then dismissed the case without hearing. Worst than the Dodgy car dealer who ripped me off. People expect justice from these people. And they they deliver injustice and cause more anguish. These ****** people needs investigating. And I am serious about this.. Very greedy people

  • Pruthvi Khilosia

All the negative reviews are true. Absaloute animals that work behind those phones. No professionalism, respect, dignity or politeness. There are victims calling up to chase up their own justice and they think its too much to do their actual jobs. It's more than just a receptionist job when dealing with abuse and harassment cases.

  • David Parkins

Functional modern building, clean, with cafe but a bit institutional, and hence a bit stressful for people attending court for the first time. Staff friendly enough. City centre location inconvenient for parking, but ok for pedestrians and those using public transport.

  • Daniel Boyd

The site is a dump, theres remenance of cellotape on every wall. The seating is soiled and dated. The offices look like they have been smoked in for centuries. For a fairly modern building you wouldnt think so walking around it.

  • Scott Whittle

The only reason I've gave it 1 star is because you need to to write a review. The place is a shambles. Complete incompetence by so called professionals. Waste of public funds and not fit too run a bath

  • John Williams

Aside from the obvious ominous connotations that courts bring, the staff were extremely helpful and the building was pleasant with the necessary amenities. 3rd visit and I still have the same opinions.

  • Opium Drop

Expensive parking bad design carpark Building is updated private areas are available if allocated Down fall cafe area closes too soon so beverages are available only at limited periods Not good enough

  • Ayesa Arif

Easy to find, lots of parking spaces near the court, not sure about any bus routes. I was helping someone, they have a duty solicitor available for free. Fantastic service very happy with it.

  • valerie peachey

Parking a bit difficult but leaving plenty of time it's manageable. Court is covid aware, well structured and organised. The court us clean and as welcoming as a court could be.

  • charlie rogers

No point ringing the number they just don't answer the phone, How can a line go from busy to just not answering ? This is unacceptable given the nature of the establishment .

  • Men Mentalhealth

I feel that vulnerable people are being mistreated by Manchester family court in court proceedings and allowed local authorities bullying and intimidating …

  • Sed Mzala

The administration Court has lost my file twice and the judge has ordered me to pay the defendant more than £600 for non attendance which is not my mistake Total injustice!

  • Khadija Ali

  • Deborah Williamson

Diabolical service at the expense of the taxpayer. I have reported their appalling conduct to Lord Chief Justice Burnett. Shocking behaviour, absolutely shocking.

  • Paul Paveley

If it wasn't for what happens there it'd be a nice place as its a nice building. Coffee and breakfast available, toilets on every floor. Prayer room available.

  • Aaron

Your average family and civil matter court house only bonus if you have to visit is the cafe on the first floor ain't bad for food and drink while waiting

  • Aleur Rahman

Very classy building with not so classy staff. Cannot fault the staff or security. Food is also very cheap at the cafe. Only issue being they close early.

  • Francesca FR

The lifts take along time to come. Security staff are very nice. People on the front desk aren't very nice. The man I spoke to was incredibly patronising.
