Went in on a whim when the ladies came out to pet my dog. It’s a really neat place to look around! They have a clear sense of their brand because all the art work went together well. I didn’t ever feel pressured into buying anything, but I get any question I had answered. I talked to 3 or 4 women who were all really nice and helpful without being pushy or encouraging me to purchase something. I was shocked that when I went to leave my review there were reviews that said they were rude to people, so I wanted to share my experience so people can see both sides of what could happen

The best arts and craft gallery in town. Unique pieces. Great ceramics and jewelry from local artists. A tad pricey but hey, artists and gallery owners have to make a living. Great service. I love this place. I wish I could spend my entire paycheck on their one of a kind jewelry. If you like making a statement with wearable art, this is the place to go. The owner Liz is SUPER RUDE! I let her know that I was dropping off some materials for my job. I was not selling or asking anything from her, just doing my job. She instantly got furious! I asked her for a business card and she literally threw it at me! TOTALLY uncalled for. At the end of the day even though I though I was working I could be a potential customer as well. Treat everyone with kindness! I will NEVER buy ANYTHING from this lady in the future.

An absolute gem! Mariposa Gallery is fun, unique, and full of beautiful, quality artwork! This varied group of artists are so talented, I loved so many works, I would have loved to buy them all! Liz, the owner, is the nicest lady you can imagine and you should check out her shoe collection! If you are in the area, I highly recommend spending some time in the gallery, you won’t regret it!

I was in looking at three necklaces today that needed to be stacked to make sense. I stated this and the woman behind the counter literally took them out of my hands and put them away. I was going to buy them, but left and won't be back. Not everyone is a thief.

Love this art gallery. One of my former silversmithing instructors sold her pieces here and after I visited the first time to look at her work I fell in love with the whole gallery. The shop owner is a sweet classy lady. Highly recommend.

On my annual Albuquerque trip, I always stop here. Almost every earring I own I got here. The folk art, funky art, and pottery are all interesting. Totally worth a visit. Pricing is fair.
