Burlington on 125 is one of the worst stores I have ever shopped at . Every time I go there I am faced with extremely long lines and usually only 2 people at the register . I don’t know why they have so many registers and no one working them. My most recent experience I noticed how the workers even with long line will close a register so they can hang up hangers. The employees care more about hanging up hangers and not the customers . And the employees do not know how to take the sensors off of the items . While I was on line the alarms kept going off and customers then had to go back to get the sensor taking off . This store used to be quick even with long lines they would move fast because they actually had more than 2 people on the register . But in recent years no matter what time I go there I have to wait at least 30 mins in line which is ridiculous! So many times I have looked at the lines in this store and just left . I was told by one off your employees the only way to avoid these insanely ridiculous long lines is to get there when the store opens . Well that’s not an option since I work nor should I be forced to go to your store when you open just to avoid long lines . And I’m also disappointed that you took away the dressing rooms so you can no longer try on items . Lots of other stores like Marshall’s still have dressing rooms open . So now if I need to return something I have to wait on another extreme long line just to do that . Your store needs to start hiring more people for the registers this has been going on for years . I am done with your store until sometime changes .

They have good stuff but they need better security. Not the fault of the current staff but the area is just saturated with thieves. Once saw a guy used the elevator from 1st floor to the 2nd floor where the bags are , GRAB a bunch of bags , went back in the elevator and he walked out with 3 MK bags. Why would you put the bags near the elevator? Another time saw a guy put on a bunch of jackets and slip through the scanner by the escalot and walked out free with at least 2 jackets and just now saw a guy grabbed a coat and run to board a bus. Good thing the security assigned today was a fast runner and got to the bus in time and took back the coat. Times are hard but there are people who do pay for stuff and its not fair the cost of loss and thefts get passed on paying consumers. Maybe put a better barrier or gate.

This store is one of the worst Marshalls to shop at, but what to expect when you have horrible manager like Moses who spend most of the time gossiping and giggling with other staff while there is a long line of customers. Also there is only one type of people they are hiring that are not customer service oriented they act like Marshall is owned by their father so they can do what the want because the company got billions in the bank so don't care about the customers because at the end of the day they still will get pay. These employees would lie to your face just because they don't want to do their job. Marshall Corporate needs to start firing for the top down before they end up like Bed Bath and Beyond.

I was trying to get helped, but the staff stocking the shelves ignored me. I was asking her if they have a price checker on the wall, but she acted like she didn't hear me. I went to browse with a friend. She was buying a makeup case. We went to use the bathroom to find clogged toilets, and the female security officer said dont use the restroom because someone was going to clean it, but no one came. She kept laughing, and I came to the conclusion that she was the one who bombed it. I left the horrid loo, and was able find some French coffee at check out. I hope it is a better experience than my trip to Marshall's. I hope they improve this store. I use to be nicer, and don't know what happened.

No stars if possible! Marshalls is the worst. Can’t believe such a ghetto store still exists. Ridiculously long line with 3 (really 2) cashiers. To make matters worse staff who work there jumps the line. Note the line wrapped around twice. Employee who skipped the line had the audacity to boast the he is the priority. Really?!? Not the customers who are spending their hard earned money without your little employee discount?? When I inquired with who I was told was the supervisor I was met with that little nasty attitude….GHETTO! She admitted she was there to service the employees SMH! Horrible, horrible, horrible! Don’t waste your time or your money!! Just terrible!!

I ❤️ Marshall but was very dissatisfied with the treatment on May 19,2023. I was shopping at the location on 125th St in harlem. I went to the children section and saw dresses on clearence. I pick up 3. One dress was 6 dollars, great buy right but wrong. I was told at the register the red tag had the 6.00. I was a mistake and the dress was not on clearence and it was 15.00 dollars. I ask for the manager and she also stated that the dress was 15 although there was a red label saying 6.00 dollars. I didn't receive the dress for the price that was on dress. The manager wanted me to pay for there mistake not.

They are clean, well organized and friendly cashier. Sometimes they seem to be short of staff though but I do say the sales person was helpful in helping me look for some sneakers I liked even though they didn't have my size.i want to say the two young female cashier's was really helpful in putting my big comforter set in my reusuable bag I purchased. The two cashier's tried and tried and put my comforter set in bag when it didn't really fit.i was really thankful because I didn't want to carry the set home and traveling with it being exposed because the way it was packaged.I'm visiting again.

This is my go to Marshalls. They have way more options than any of the nearby stores. I live for their candle and home decor sections. It's relatively well organized and clean. Their bathroom is always available to customers- which can unfortunately be hit or miss in Harlem. The store staff can be very friendly. The only draw back is their security guards. These guys alternate between lethargic and overly aggressive. Overall, it's great if you don't mind the very occasional drama with irritated customers and security.

  • Dave Rotes

Nice place with plenty of options for the customer. I was able to find everything I needed and more. They got everything from clothes to office supplies which is decent for an all in one store. Only thing was that there was some trash on the store merchandise including inside some of the mugs I was looking at. One of the escalators wasn’t working which didn’t bother me really but is something to point out. Stop by and look around; they probably got what your looking for.

The line is so long for the registers that you don't want to browse for fear you find something you would want to make you get in line. It's no less than 50 people long and no cashiers to allieceiate. They need to do something or close up shop. What's the point of shopping there if it's 3 hours to buy a shirt... Management needs to get a clue and a hiring manager who knows how to hire a cashier or 50 of them and someone who can properly schedule their staff...

I just brought a duffel bag which had a small hole . I used my T.J.Maxx credit or points that was equivalent to 30 dollars At the cash register, I was given 10 % off, they paid me back in cash, $ 57.00 and my credit card was charged $79 . Two supervisors were involved. They declined taking off 30 dollars which I lost at the register. This happened on 8/23 around 6:30 pm Very disappointed and dissatisfied

I am not giving it 4stars because I use to work for the company years ago but this particular site has made dramatic changes. Everything was accessible by size nothing was on the floor and even though the line was long it went fast because they always have cashiers doing their jobs ...great work 125th st team. I didnt give it a 5 because of the visuals wasn't appealing the way items were displayed

Nicole S. Store coordinator at this location was the reason I gave this one star review. Very nasty very rude very unprofessional. There should be some sort of training for workers like Nicole specifically on CUSTOMER SERVICE because it is VERY clear that she needs a course ! Such a disgusting attitude. I asked to see the color of a foundation at the register and got lash back about it

Marshall’s is always a good place to find deals and this one is well organized and clean. The entrance is a little hidden but easy enough find and up a set of escalators. There’s also a second floor for all the household stuffs, just fyi. Overall everything had price tags, was on the self, and was generally well stocked. I’ll come back to this location and I’d recommend it to others.

  • Bernarda Sierra

when I entered the store it was completely ok, but when I went to check out my mom didn’t know where number 1 was this lady behind us keep telling us “number one”!!! “Right there!!!!” But we did see it but then she skipped us! The cashier didn’t say anything! The employees were absolutely terrible! The store was great tho but i never want to see that woman ever again, smh.

  • Pedro Flores

I was VERY surprised at how neat, organized, and welcoming this Marshalls is. I say that because it's in a very busy location and from my experience, high traffic retail stores often tend to be a bit of a disaster. This store didn't give me the feeling to hurry. It gave a feeling to take your time and enjoy your shopping experience. I will definitely be coming back.

I frequent marshals in different city’s n this location has one of the best home departments I’ve seen in a marshals ..it’s always well put together and properly stocked kudos to whoever runs that department.yes the lines are long but they move very quickly !!! Most complaints about this location are things the associates can’t help …definitely going back

  • Tara L

I've been going to this Marshalls for years. Customer service is great and they keep the store neat. I can always find quality kitchen supplies. I'm giving 3 stars because the restroom is always a mess. I dread having to use the restroom here. Please invest in updating and keeping the restrooms clean. Harlem patrons deserve better.

  • Lois Sawyer

Well organized, clean cashier's quick floor manager is not just standing around. He is greeting everyone that comes upstairs. Very refreshing to see. Prices are good as always. Nothing is out of order. There's no waiting line moves no chatting . Would you like to apply for the card no! Let move on. I like it. I'll be back".

  • laura Vazquez

I came in to shop I do so regularly, upon arrival at ladies room I was met by an employee called juan A,, barely speaks English, in addition is very very rude . Disrespectful I hope the owner has an informed conversation with this " apparent animal" his manners are as such. A most horrible customer experience, encounter.

  • Tamika Harris

Today's visit wasn't a pleasant one. The store ran out of big bags, which was causing customers to put back bulk items. Fortunately for me the person i was with was very persistent in asking the manager to find us one or two for the 4 pillows and 2 fleece blankets we were purchasing. I hope this doesn't happen again.

  • Nakia Jankee

They suck now. They use to have better clothes & footwear. I don't know who the store buyer is but they are not good any longer. All of the Marshall stores are bad now. It looks like a salvation army store now. Not that I have anything against the salvation army. But there selection of clothes & shoes are horrible.

  • Tsering Sherpa

It was much better than i expected. It was bigger and looked properly managed by the staff working there. It has both elevators and escalators. So i am guessing it's wheelchair accessible. The only reason i am taking a star off is because there was only one cashier and it look a long time to checkout the stuff.

  • Wanda Majette

I went there primarily to see if they had any super discounted Christmas finds. And they did. I was thankful that it was organized. I purchased socks gifts and a board game. The packaging on everything was very good so I can gift these items next Christmas. Yay me. The sales associates were very helpful also.

  • grace barthly

Excellent staff. They were very polite when I asked for help on merchandise. I was shocked on how organized everything was on the racks. I love it! After visiting several other Marshall's in Brooklyn. the one in 125 St in Manhattan, shows more organization on every aspect. Thank you guys. Keep it up!!!!

  • Ernetta Carrington

I want to no if you can see in you store steal if I drop something why can't you respect me I lost my gift card I was ask them to look on the camera to see where i may have drop it they just told me to go to the precinct I think that horrible to treat a value customer there service is trouble policy

  • Sonia Washington

There was no escalator service and I'm recovering from a procedure so I had to walk to escalator and the elevators were overcrowded they didn't have sufficient shopping bags for huge purchases they offered to put my purchases they offered to put my purchases in a trash bag!

  • Vanessa R

Because TJ Max and Marshall’s are owned by the same company, I go between the two a lot when I’m looking for a particular product. If it’s not at one it’s usually at the other. TJ Max is where I hunt for skincare and Marshall’s for houseware. Winner Winner chicken dinner.

  • Hellen Ortiz

I went to buy some lunch bag and they don't know where are they located. (I ask 4 diferent people), finally went I'm already gone, somebody can help me, and found it. The people was friendly, but is really important they know where is specifically items in small store.

  • Brittney Rosario

I think they have a nice selection of clothing but not for me. The line is also very long. I recommend additional cashiers on other floors. It was also hard to find shoes in my size. These experiences convey to me that online shopping beats in store shopping.

  • Nikola Janjić

It is a big place, but with mostly empty shelfs. I came here to buy some footwear, but left dissapointed. Poor selection and quality, prices like everywhere else. Homeless people wander around, it wasn't a nice experience at all. Convenient location though.

  • Ramon

Marshall is well you know Marshalls !!! The home of great deals!!! A little bit of alot of things.. i love this store and you will also... heavy cleaning and disinfecting going on all day and night .. I feel super comfy shopping here.. 5 stars well earned

  • Trina R

The store is large but items are pretty organized. The store has two levels. It has an extensive shoe department. The prices are great and it is hard not to buy a lot. The cashier sanitized the register. The line was long but the wait wasn't that bad.

  • Ivy Deborah (Ivy)

Great, I love Marshall... Their customer service is so on point & the store is rearranged & restock well i found more than what i was looking for Yoga pants, sporty yankee tank top & 2 Rebook sports Bra all for $36 great sale …

  • Angel Dones

Place was certainly busy. Not too crowded but a steady flow of people. I was able to find a few bathtime toys and sensory dough for my nephews and a birthday outfit. Got in and out in under an hour. Good experience. I'll return...

  • Kimberly Everette

This location isn't the largest but they have a decent selection of home goods, discounted beauty products, and designer clothes from seasons past. Great customer service makes for a pleasant shopping experience.

  • Dominek Tubbs

Always busy at this location. Sometimes you can find some hidden gems. The best time to come here is early in the morning. There is less of a crowd and the lines aren't as long. They do their best to keep it tidy

  • Yess C

I love this Marshalls store. The store offers 2 floors of merchandise. This store is always clean and organized. The sales associates are very friendly and helpful. The store always offers a ton of good deals.

  • Emerita Ortiz

I found quite a few cute Outfits to gift my young niece, I had so many in hand, that I forced myself to return some to the racks.jh. I was able to buy 4 outfits and a Tahari jacket for my niece for under $100.

  • Sophie Rivera

Excellent store, fabulous service. Was able to find exactly what I was looking for and then some for a cheap price. Was very clean and well organized. Unfortunately there was just way to much drama.

  • Wendyam Gisele OUEDRAOGO

Very bad costumer service. The cashiers refuse to help you with your stuff unless you have a Marshall bag even though you spend $1000. Don't try to talk to the responsible cause …

  • Ernetta Carrington

Felling off there are no nice boots or dress shoes everything looks cheap, whom ever they have for personal shopper doesn't make good or great decision Please get a better shopper
