My son Jeffery Jamison died 1/2/2021. His wife used these people because someone related to her are close to the owner. The information on my sons death certificate is false. The wife refused to change it out of spitefulness. However, I have the legal authority being his mother to sign the amendment. The funeral home refuse to sign the corrected paperwork so the death certificate will be right. They are siding with the wife because of favoritism. What type of real business knowingly keeps false information on a death certificate which is supposed to be a legal document. I have contacted the Vital Statistics in Duval Jacksonville Florida to follow protocol but the funeral home isn’t signing the form. I feel this is very unprofessional and my son life insurance policy through his employer paid this funeral home. My son body was sent to SC and another funeral home officiated the funeral and burial in SC. I thought a funeral home is a licensed business. This funeral home is definitely not professional.

For starters...I only left "1 star" because it wouldnt allow me to leave a comment without it, so technically the star has NO MEANING. McKinney Family Funeral Home is by far the WORSE and most UNPROFESSIONAL Funeral Services in Jacksonville, FL. My family received the worse services from REGINALD and his so-called employees. My grandfather wanted to use McKinney Funeral Home ONLY because the owner REGINALD MCKINNEY was a member of his church. If we wouldve known what was to come from this full process dealing with Reginald and his team..trust me we wouldve took our money somewhere else. REGINALD MCKINNEY showed no sympathy or compassion throughout this entire process. Mr. Mckinney main focus was the signature on the bottom of that check. I will make sure my family and friends do not spend another dollar at MCKINNEY.

McKinney funeral home did an exceptional job for my friend who unexpectedly lost her husband. Miss Tasha was so attentive and accommodating. She went out of her way to ensure she was available for every need, concern and question. Mr. McKinney was also very assuring and attentive when we spoke with him. Miss Tasha surprised my friend with a personalized blanket with a picture of her husband. This meant so much to my friend. It felt so good to see my friend smile at such a sad time. Words can not express how thankful I am for the way they so caring and compassionately handle their clients. You honestly feel more like family! Their work was impeccable. Everyone at the viewing was impressed with how well my friends husband looked. Thank you McKinney Funeral Home, you are worth more than five stars!

I wish I could give 10 or more stars⭐ My family experience with McKinney family furnerl home was exceptional. The quality of service on our son a year and nine months ago was everything we expected. Our handsome son looked as though he was just sleeping. Mr. McKinney did an excellent job on our son and all the others family members we have lost. Now he will do the same for my mom next Saturday. We are very pleased with his expertise on embalming and his work speak for it self. Tasha Green was always professional, polite and very friendly she made you feel like family. We truly appreciate all the hard work and the caring Mr. McKinney and his staff really showed our family.

Mr. McKinney did an excellent job on our family member. We were very pleased with his expertise on embalming. At our time of bereavement we let Mr. McKinney and his staff take care of the arrangements, thus lifting a load of burden off of our family. We truly appreciate all the ways that he showed he cared.

From the time I contacted Mr. McKinney he was on point. He was amazing with helping me dealing with the loss and arrangements for my baby girl. He made the whole thing smooth and as painless as possible. His entire staff was simply amazing and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Reginald, thank you so much and I am forever grateful for the compassion that you as well as Tasha showed me!!!! A true blessing!!!!

Losing a loved one is already difficult and I just have to thank the staff at McKinney for making this such an smooth process for myself and my family. Everyone was very attentive, and extremely helpful. If I could give 10 stars I would, they had my mom looking amazing! & big thanks to Reggie for going above & beyond to meet our needs.

I cannot fathom a rating of less than 5 stars. Mr. McKinney and staff are courteous, caring, professional, and exceptionally attentive to the needs of the family. He is a gifted mortician. His work is second to none! As a Pastor I recommend his services

The best work in Jacksonville Florida I have seen so far. Mr. McKinney has worked on five of my family members and they all looked like they were just sleeping. He staff was always family friendly.

The staff at McKinney Family Funeral Home is always professional. This is what made me choose Reginald McKinney when my father transitioned. Myself along with my entire family was beyond pleased.
