Mettuguda area in Secunderabad part of city was a local hamlet with big water tank adjoining the railway track. Later on colonies developed around it and after this area like tarnaka etc. Now it is a busy centre leading from Secunderabad to Warangal. Sithaphalmandi railway station abetting it and second side goes to secunderabad railway station. It has metro station and central railway hospital to its credit. Rail Kalyan and railway officers club are placed here. Also RRB and IRISET including both railway officers and staff quarters you can find. From here Malkajgiri route begins. You can find Anglo Indian Christian churches here like St. Anthony's and Cyrian catholic church etc.Main road is of six lane leading to Secunderabad to Tarnaka from there to Uppal, Bhogi n Warangal. A good n calm place to reside: yet at a stone throw distance to secunderabad n railway station n Osmania University.

Location is a plus as we can move to nearby areas of importance namely St Anthony's Shrine just a few meters from the station. Likewise can also move to S C Rly Hospital which is just a few meters walk and also to important areas namely moulali rly quarters malkagiri and other important areas in close vicinity. Metro station is well maintained and cleaned at regular intervals staff are polite well mannered and ready to help whenever asked for.

Very good land mark for major areas of hyderabad. Mettuguda is a place connecting major areas like secunderabad, ecil, uppal etc. Mettuguda having 3 roads junction and metro rail connectivity. These both transport facilities are helping thousands of people to reach their offices and homes everyday. I am also one of the beneficiary throw the metruguda junction, many times I am using metro and bus facilities.

30-03-2018: Trains stand here for quite a long period of time....also stops at least two times on both the way, which are irritating ... otherwise it is a good metro station like all others. 07-05-2018: Thanks to Hyderabad Metro Rail Corporation for rectifying above mentioned problem...Now train runs very smoothly without interruption.

Everywhere we can see that wastes are dumped and thrown here and there. No public awareness was given to people, so that they may be aware if its consequence. What to do our our public servants have no time for this kind of works.

There's a paid parking at mettuguda, well maintained station. There are some special trains starting here to Raidurg, Eg. 7.59am, 8.20am daily to decongest. Likewise in Evening. Appreciate LT HYD METRO.

Mettuga Metro Station is neet and clean. Towards Raidurg some special trains start from here at peek times.
