Extremely unhappy with ABS Adelaide and their service. Took my car to have timing belt and water pump changed, and upon completion of the job my car sounds/feels like it's about to fall apart. Firstly they ordered the wrong water pump 3 times in a row. After replacing my timing belt and letting me drive home wondering why my car was shuddering and making rattling noises, they insisted it couldn't have been something they did. I returned the car to discover my timing belt alignment was out by 10 degrees. ABS then assured me they had fixed the problem, and also recommended I spend more money replacing ignition leads to stop the shuddering. Over $1000 later, my car seems to be in worse condition now compared to before I took it to ABS. I am now experiencing ongoing problems with my car and wishing I had never taken it in. I am wondering if my engine was even mounted back properly, or if timing balance was even checked. Extremely dissatisfied, will never return.

Kon? More like Kon Artist. Do NOT bring your Toyota in because this guy will take your parts and substitute it with a random brand. I took my car in for a general service when this place was still called ABS Auto but I’m still mad about this because my wipers were taken when they were working perfectly fine, but Kon claimed they were ‘streaky’. He replaced these WITHOUT my permission and I only found out when picking up my car. The blades he replaced them with have ever since been causing me frustration as they are obviously not fitted to my car and are TRULY causing streaking, no matter what rubber refills I use.

Have been taking my ML270 there for nearly 2 years now. They will shop around for parts to save you some money and will explain everything that needs to be done and they stick to their quote. Probably not the cheapest mechanics around but not expensive either. Good price for quality and reliable work. Had a free loan car a couple of times as well. Can’t fault them really.

Had my service here, honestly the best service we have had in all of Australia, very thorough and will let you know how you can improve your car (you dont have to take their advice and fork out) but the car has never run better and as smooth as it did before we took it into Midas in Adelaide. Old school team who are super quick and effiecent.

If you love your car as much as I do, DO NOT bring your car here, they will pump up the price halfway through the job and your car will come back with an oil leak it never had to begin with. These guys are a JOKE! Especially a mechanic there called Steve. STAY AWAY! I now have to go to another mechanic to fix their dodgy work!

Good experience! Hard to come by a good honest mechanic these days. Andrew made it a comfortable experience and explained everything well with recommendations for my next service which will most likely be through them again. Car runs much better now then before I brang it in. Thanks guys. Keep up the good work.

I had heaps of little things that needed doing (and two big things) Kon and the boys called around to get second hand parts to keep the cost down. It took longer than expected and I was given a free loan car. They knew what my budget was and kept it under that. My car now runs as sweet as a nut.

Had a problem with my car overheating on way to work one morning and steam coming out from under bonnet. Dropped around without an appointment and the guys were extremely helpful, identified the problem (heater hoses) and had me back on the road same day at a reasonable cost. Thanks fellas.

Excellent experience. Con was honest and thoroughly explained everything. Due to his courteous and respectful communication, I felt very comfortable asking questions which, as a female, isn't always the case when at the mechanics! Great price and work too - highly recommended!

Really good. Steve and the boys were great. Explained everything, stuck to the price and absolutely no dramas. Car was readier earlier than planned. Have had some bad experiences before - not here - and this was reassuring and really good stuff. Will be coming back.

Phil and Andrew both were honest with my problem with my exhaust issue. I thought a replacement was the solution but discovered that a simple fix would solve my problem. Pity more businesses don't have the same ethics

Had a broken door latch on the driver's side. They got the car in the day we called, found a used part for cheaper and called us with a quote all within a few hours! Very knowledgeable and helpful.

These guys are great, they helped my girlfriend and her friend out on their road trip - super friendly, didn't rip them off, turned a bad situation into a good one. Good people, highly recommend.

Good customer service. However there was no transparency with what was conducted and report of the car, except if you paid for the numerous extra service options they came up with.
