Worst pharmacy I've ever been too. The people selling drugs on the sidewalk of Vietnam have better standards of care and customer service than these downright shills. Its disgusting the thought of the exuberant prices charged by said shills. I asked the owner why a 30 packet of 400mg ibuprofen was 18 dollars and a four packet of oxyxodone 5mg was 18 dollars... He says it's because my healthcare card is expired. I then asked if I can just buy the ibuprofen (nurofen) over the counter (that was rated at 200mg) and just take double...... And before I can even finish my sentence he rudely talks over me and says "so you want to take what the doctor prescribes or not"? I replied and said "the doctor has prescribed me ibuprofen 400mg, why would I spend 18 dollars on that when I could just buy one packet of nurofen 200mg and take double"? My reply was so obvious and blatant.... In their mind it would have gone down like so: (no customer, disregard what the script says because we make full gross profit from you and every other ill person's heath..... Don't go to the supermarket and get your nurofen for 7 bucks... C! .... Why do that when you can Spend almost 40 dollars here and get the same treatment elsewhere for 14-fair old dollars) ..... I honestly wish these people the worst of business. The shop stinks. The service is terrible. The prices... Well, nothing more than simply disgusting. Do not go here at all costs however if you do; Stare them in the eyes..... demand the best prices they have..... Be polite yet tell them their pricing is disgusting..... Make them feel it. Make them feel the guilt. Google all prices if you must. Alway have a concession card with you. Personally I'd never want to go there again. These people make profit from others misery. Good luck punters.

I drove an hour and a half, after I was told by the Pharmacist they had the medication I was after, only to be told they don't actually have it when I arrived there. I confronted the Pharmacist about being mislead only to be yelled at and told he would call the Police on me, not to mention I waited for 45 minutes. After I asked his Pharmacy Assistant which could hardly speak or understand English that I just wanted my scripts back, the Pharmacist abused me, threatened me and told me I have to wait for another hour to get my scripts back! I have never come across someone so rude, unprofessional, nil customer service, zero people skills, extremely blase and did not care that I had a little child and had 20 other customers waiting to be served. They seriously need to be reported to AHPRA and the Pharmacy Board of Australia. I forgot to mention the condition of this Midnight Pharmacy was absolutely appalling, dirty and stank. They seriously need to be audited. I can see based on reviews I am not the only one who has had this experience.

Went to buy Infants Friends for my newborn who has been unsettled for a few days now based on recommendations. As it was late about 10PM and our usual pharmacy is closed we decided to try our luck and get a a bottler from there. When we got there they offered no advice, I asked for directions on how often to use and general advice ect, (where any other pharmacy would gladly spend the time to give you - as I have worked in pharmacy before). Their response was simply quote 'read the label'. Apart from that their prices were beyond reasonable. Yes I understand being open for longer is a convince and service for people who are desperate where I did expect to pay a little more, but was shocked to see their prices was almost double at $19.80 where other pharmacies $10.99. Anyway bought the bottle and had to call Health Direct Australia for advice and directions. Poor form...

Total rip off!! Don't use this chemist if you can avoid it. I sent my wife here late at night to get me some anti nausea script medication (10 tablets of ondansetron). They charged $121! The same script at chemist warehouse even on a private script is only $32! I called them as soon as my wife told me the price to double check they hadn't messed up the price. The guy was very rude and unhelpful. He just said that's our price, and that he can't comment on what other chemists charge. I asked if I didn't take them can I return them because that price is ridiculous. He flatly said no, they don't do refunds. I would definitely not recommend using this chemist unless it's an absolute emergency as they will totally rip you off. If you can just wait until the morning and go to any normal chemist and pay a fraction of the cost. Will not be using this chemist ever again.

Don't go there people.they rip u off n make it seem as we're responsible for there mistakes n to make things worse if ur Caucasian they pull the race card.also wen they finally do c reason they never apologise for there mistakes....ive spent 50 thousand $ there in 20 years n this is how my family was treated.n there aren't 24/7.there r better pharmacys out there people who value ur bussisness. After my last review i had to go n pick up my script they held against my wishes n wen i paid with a fifty dollar bill they gave me change for a twenty n wen i said my fifty was marked with a math sum that i could identify it they call the police n said i was being racist to avoid giving me the correct change. Peter also waters down the methadone n sells it to the owner of the hydroponic store on Bradman Dr in hilton. Br very aware of this shonky business people.

Should be called NIGHTMARE PHARMACY. This place is shambolic with no regards to human lives or basic principles. We were given a late prescription by doctor on phone at 1146pm and rushed there to get med urgently needed for our dad whos having bad UTI n kidney infection, even called and told the pharmacist on phone that we are rushing to get there asap as its really urgent and the indian rudely replied we must arrive before 12am. We reached there at 1202am and the same guy stood at the counter refused to open the door for us. 2 MINUTES LATE. Heartless disgusting being. Total shame. If we had other choices we wouldnt be here. The fact that this place still "survive" to this day is coz there really is no other pharmacy that operates past 10pm. I will be the first few to celebrate n throw party in front of the store when this place gets shut down

  • DEC HEX

Very poor customer support and wrongly charged me for a medicine which was clearly done deliberately. Usually we just trust the chemist when they give us the invoice and medicine, that we are paying for WHAT we get. When I was asked to pay nearly four times for a regular antibiotic, I checked the medicine and the invoice. The lady and her boss insisted that it's just a matter of "differnt brand".So I just stayed and googled the name of the medicine printed on the invoice (clearly a different name from what she gave me), it was a pill mainly used for inducing sleep instead of a regular antibiotic. Still no apology, re-issued the invoice with 100% attitude and refunded the price difference. I even doubt if they have a license to operate !! Avoid if u can.

  • Willem

I honestly have no words for this place. It’s so terribly maintained and I don’t know what it really is…? Is it a flower shop, a cafe or a pharmacy? It’s so odd too. You walk in and find a vending machine selling soup, 2 really random massage chairs in the corner of the store, a coffee vending machine, a tonne of random old computers weirdly on display in the “Flower Kafe” a gumball machine and more really random things. The guy seems to just pull a number out of his head and boom, that’s what you pay. It’s so terribly maintained and so strange too. Despite all this, they are basically the only pharmacy open til midnight every night and there have been countless occasions where I have needed items from there. It would be far worse without them.

  • Crispy and Dank Memes

I should have waited till other chemists were open but my doctor wanted me to start antibiotics immediately...I told my doctor I needed PBS because I'm a student. Asked the chemist that it has to be PBS he said yes it definitely is...he comes back with my medication which should only have cost me $7 at most per pack and I'm having to pay $30 for each one!! I asked if it's the PBS price and he rudely answered yes I told him I can't afford to pay that much because that's not a PBS price and he told me it's the best I can get at the moment. Had to follow doctors orders...next time I just going to suffer till morning and go somewhere else where I'm not going to be ridiculously overpriced and treated like an idiot

  • Marc Keschner

Don't know how this is allowed to operate, I suppose scam artists in the medical field in Adelaide are allowed to trade freely? First of all, disgusting interior. No upkeep, bad smell, just awful. Secondly, I went in there around 10pm on a weekday evening and explained symptoms of my 5 year old's gastro to the "chief pharmacist". Guy just brushed it off and told me to look for a doctor, that he hasn't got anything, and I should just buy an electrolyte packet from the counter, which incidentally is about 4x that of retail price. Rude, clueless, and utterly inept is what I'd describe him. Seriously, health officials, how about doing your job and actually shutting this cesspit of an operation down

  • Ibrahim Chehade

My little sister asthma puffer finished, I had to rush to get it. As soon as I approached, he hands me a paper to write down who the medication is for (he did not even greet or ask if I wanted any help) he had a child working on a computer behind the desk organising medicine (Is this legal?) I handed him medicare card/health care and he didn't even look at it (left it on the counter). Before he organized to give me the puffer, he had already put in the cost on the eftpos machine ($32.95) for a standard puffer. at CW ($7.50). very rude, scary shop. looks like a bad neighborhood in middle of CBD. I will not go there again. if it comes to it and I go. I will start an argument. would not recommened

  • sunil surendran

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. The place is manned by discourteous, impolite staff and a pharmacist charging over FOUR TIMES the normal rate without warning customers about it . The pharmacist went into a diatribe about being open on a public holiday as if he was in it for humanity's sake and not for the profit motive. The place , the staff, the technology and the items belong in the 80s and the dust on the items are testament to that fact. Entered by mistake and regret not having a look at the reviews before doing so. Hope this helps someone else. I GOT RIPPED OFF AFTER WASTING ONE HOUR FOR A SIMPLE PRESCRIPTION IN AN EMPTY STORE.

  • Jagpreet Singh

+1 Rudeness +1 Unhelpful +1 Overpricing even though I don’t mind paying extra considering Im buying at Midnight or late night but question then is does he charge regular price during day time? I had a migraine and ended up with prescription over the phone from 13Sick. My wife drove to get the meds at 11:30 PM and he denied giving medicines basis the email prescription. So we had to write to doctor again requesting him to resend the email directly to him so we could get the meds. The least he could do is help people when they are approaching him at critical hour. We were able to get meds minutes before midnight.

  • Isaac S

They have the worst service I've experienced in my entire life. The staff are a so arrogant for meeting so obviously under qualified and heavily uneducated in the medical field. They're prices are astronomically high. They take advantage of people and try to bully them into more expensive items that are completely unnecessary. The place is disgustingly dirty.. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. So much of the food and products that they sell are well past their due by date. I can't believe they are still in business. All in all, I would guess they would be Australia's worst pharmacy.

  • Jazz Chiappini

Absolutely Disgusting. I expected I may have to pay more as they are open later than other chemists however after handing in my scripts which usually cost around $60 at most with any other chemists, the price here was $110!!! , they operate unlawfully, the pharmacist was extremely rude and unprofessional, yelled at me and did not give me my scripts back so I was forced to contact my doctor for new ones. The whole store is unprofessional and scattered, they sell woolworths branded lollies for 5 times the real price and overall a terrible experience, would not reccomend this place to anybody.

  • Tristan Schulz

No issues. I agree they're "direct", BUT, in a crunch, I'd love to know of an alternative, late night pharmacy! I needed late, quick access to prescription medication that ultimately prevented an essentially useless hospital admission. They stock such medication (unlike others), work reasonably well with on call Doctors and it's nice to have 'first world problems' available to deal with such medical interventions. They definitely deserve at least 4 ⭐️, as they can help avert unnecessary medical escalation. Not perfect, but a significantly better alternative to an ambulance ride!

  • Blackwoodhoods

The worst pharmacy in AUSTRALIA. Terrible, terrible service! Con artists! Won't give you your concession and demand cash payment, after checking with Medicare they processed the script as a concession and obviously pocketed the money I paid them! I wonder how many others they've done or do this to! Prices on non government regulated items are astronomical!! X4 times the price of any other pharmacy! And just RUDE RUDE RUDE people!! Especially the rarely seen owner and the Vietnamese lady. The older Indian gentleman is not too bad. Overall though, avoid this place at all costs!!

  • Ingrid Rozenbergs (Ingy)

I've never had a problem - except with unreasonable customers. If you want the convenience of being able to fill a script at 11.55pm, understand that it costs more. The chemist's costs are higher and these need to be met. After all, what is the hourly rate for a pharmacist after 9pm and/or on a Sunday? Or a public holiday? A bit more than usual, heh? If you don't want to pay more, go elsewhere or simply wait for a discount pharmacy to be open, but don't demand convenient and instant after-hours service at discount prices. The world doesn't work that way!

  • Lucien Drivas

Incredibly rude. Asked for a refund because I didn't hear the price properly while buying rats and then immediately noticed on the receipt it was $50 more than I'd anticipated. He refused to do it at first even though we were the only customers!! Said we were wasting his time? Didn't seem like he was doing anything else, honestly think this place is a bit of a scam. Had to get my boyfriend to insist to give me the refund. Regardless, if you can't be bothered to do a basic refund for a fair reason, you shouldn't be running a business. Not going back.

  • Su MaK

zero stars here(if I could). This place is disgusting, rude, over priced. Well known as the chemist that was caught dealing in stolen goods (years ago now) and it LOOKS like it! Really DONT GO THERE. In regards to pricing of methadone and other drug maintenance supplies they are the MOST EXPENSIVE in Adelaide. They do not keep good records, they are the ones responsible for chemists starting to charge large amounts for this service $30 upwards..../per week.. Think this place should be shut down a.s.a.p, and looked into for health and crime reasons.

  • Sleena Collins

Generally, the Pharmacists who work at this establishment are mostly friendly, helpful and provide great customer service. I, unfortunately can not say the same about the service that is provided to customers that require daily dosing of medication. It disgusts me that opiate dependant customers, get served only after the main chemist's customers have been served. I have waited anywhere up to 1 hour and 10 mins just to receive my medication. I can appreciate waiting my turn, but to be ignored and treated as scum of society is appalling.

  • major “ᏯᏌᎿᎲᎡʏ bROᎳᏍ pant” ᏰᏝᎯᏊᏦᏯᏌᎿᎲᎡ

Despite having a prescription for the three meds I take to keep my three psychiatric conditions manageable, and having a letter from my treating doctor explaining the need for me purchase repeats four days earlier than my prescription date (reason for early request being travel plans that could not be changed) , these rude buggers wouldn’t even look at the letter, nor my id-passport, and actually spoke to me like I was trying to scam them somehow. Do NOT RELY ON THESE CLOWNS FOR YOUR MEDICINE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

  • Lesley Sparkes

Wish I'd read other reviews before shopping here. Almost double the price of other pharmacies for hair colour, $23.80 compared to $12.99 elsewhere. Not having bought it before I didn't know that was expensive until I looked in another chemist today. I'm all for supporting small businesses rather than chains, and expect to pay slightly more for the convenience, but this is ridiculous. Of course I'll never go there again and unless it's an emergency advise everyone else to avoid it like the plague!!

  • Jane Burton

We had a screaming baby, a past medical history of Cow Protein Intolerance that looked as though she had the symptoms back again after being back on Lactose Free Cow Protein formula for about 2 weeks. It was 11.45pm and we live in Aberfoyle Park normally a 30 minute drive when the roads are busy. Yep, it was reluctantly but they waited an extra 10 minutes for us to get there to get some Soy Milk formula. I fully understand their reluctance, but they agreed to wait. Excellent service - thank you.

  • Ron Pippett

This must be the worst Chemist shop in Australia. They are absolute rip off merchants and rude too. I refused to pay for medication that they we’re going to charge $22.00! Then the guy said I shouldn’t waste his time! So I said “Don’t waste my time mate!” I was then told never come back. Got it at another Pharmacy the nxt day for $4.60. Stupidly I went bk after 5 years - and got ripped off to the tune of $15 this time. There’s Russians in tanks and then these guys are almost as evil!

  • Jess

The pharmacy that’s got it all, from home decor, random computers, type writers incense sticks to your medication needs. Ignore those 1 star reviews people, at the end of the day, this is a business that is serving humanities needs late at night, the prices reflect the convenience of being able to purchase your medication after hours or when an unexpected emergency arises. Been here multiple times, staff are always willing to assist and have plenty of patience. 5 stars.

  • Allicia Tsolis

The rudest pharmacist (in fact person) I have ever encountered. Yelled at me because my doctor didn’t fill in the script correctly and when I asked him why he was yelling at me for my doctors mistake, he threw the script at me and yelled to go and get another one. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by anyone in the service industry before let alone being a patient and being spoken to like that by a pharmacist. I will be reporting him further. Disgusting

  • wen Yyy

My partner went in to get me those zyrtec in liquid capsules, they didnt have it, but gave him tablet form instead. Then they proceed him to the counter for payment without giving him time to check the package. They also did not telling him it was not liquid form that he was asking for. so, i had to go back for a refund, the guy/owner said 'once it's out, then it's out', followed with 'see you later' and left the counter. how helpful are these people?

  • Andrew Fionik

This pharmacy is the only pharmacy in Adelaide that works until 24:00 and that is open during weekend. Imagine your child gets high temperature, you call 13SICK, doctor arrives at 22:00 and says it is tonsillitis. If you give the child antibiotic in the same evening, there is a good chance he or she feels better the next day. Otherwise it is an ordinary pharmacy just like many others with maybe slightly more higher prices, which is understandable.

  • Oliver Liyou

Very lucky to have a pharmacy that will pay the overtime wages to stay open so late! Of course they have to charge more to cover the overtime because nobody wants to be working up until midnight when they could be home with their family or out having fun on a Friday night! To many people whingeing about expensive prices on this writing site. If you don't want to pay the extra for your medication and take a teaspoon of cement and stop whingeing

  • Luis De Castro

Called to check if they have something in stock, asked for thr price and very rudely turned me down as the "pharmacist" couldn't be bothered to check the price. Honestly, to everyone that sees this and thinks about going there, DONT BOTHER. Just dont support this business, it doesnt deserve to stay open. If you need something and it can wait the next day, then WAIT. Otherwise just try your local hospital and you will surely get better service.

  • Kez

Was referred here from a nurse on call line after potentially overdosing. The nurse couldn’t find the symptoms for the medication I took so I was told to phone here. The man who answered was extremely rude and just incapable of having a conversation about what I was asking. In the end I told him not to bother and hung up. Disgusting honestly. Such a shame that people spend years training and end up being unable to answer a simple question

  • Rita Powell

Please avoid this chemist at all costs. They don't have even basic medication; the service is absolutely awful, very rude and the pharmacist I had was sooooooooo slow. You can't scan online scripts; you have to email these and then they don't check their emails. Waited 1.5hrs for a script when they said they didn't even have it even though I emailed it to them right in front of them. Soooo many sick and frustrated people in this chemist

  • T Cull

THIS ISNT JUST A RIP OFF OR BAD SERVICE ITS ILLEGAL!!! I got told off because I rang the bell twice because no nobody was at counter, after telling the young African guy who works there to calm down and stop shouting at me he then tells me I’m banned from entering the store for 2 days? I have medication I need to take daily from there ? If I don’t I get really sick How the fxuck can he refuse to give me my medication for 2 days

  • Daniel G. Taylor

When you come here, you get exactly what you expect: a chemist open later than most. You may wait a while to get served, but when you do, the staff give you their full attention. They like to understand your problem fully, and help you find a solution, before they move onto the next person. It's this detail that pushes them above the ordinary. When you need great customer service with your health advice, visit them.

  • Travis McDougall

The same as what everyone else says! Quadruple the price of everywhere else, heaps rude, no customer service, and clearly no concern for patients/customers health. Probably one of the most consistently rated 1 star establishments in Adelaide and if there were negative stars this place would take the championship crown for that also! Stay away, die of your condition before attending this place!

  • christos Christos

Always rude . Ventoline to help me breath $20 everywhere else $7.00 prescription medication $19.00 next day paid $9.00 from a local chemist . The mam behind the counter started to argue with me because he is trying to rip everyone off .. do not go there no matter what and i have also seen them let someone on medication falling asleep drive home in there car. These guys are hopless and useless

  • HT

wish there was a 0 star review option. I had visited this store to pick up a bottle of cough medicine for my mother who has a autoimmune disease called fibromyalgia and the man refused to serve me even after i had doctors approval to pick up the medication. Horrible experience and very disappointing. Would never return here as the store is an absolute mess and very rude service. Very upset.

  • Ash Cook

OVERPRICED - TRIPLE THE USUAL COST OF MEDICATION. I entered this scruffy little dive to renew a standard medication. I normally pay $8.00. I was charged nearly $20 for the same thing here. I cannot understand why this place even exists. I see that the building is for sale. It is time for change. It looks like a store room and clearly night-people go there for there various needs. Yuk!

  • Harison

I have no other option but to rate this pharmacy 1 Star otherwise it does not even deserve a star rating at all. The Pharmist/owner of the store was extremely RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL & a RACIST. I don't recommend this pharmacy to anyone as the owner is extremely unprofessional & unethical & should be investigated further for his misconduct as he is not fit to be a Pharmist.

  • Jason Anand

Bad and scary experience with the pharmacist. Had called to find out if they stock any of a specific morning pills but the creepy pharmacist keep on dragging about coming into the shop to discuss. All it wanted to know if either they have the stock or not thus saving me the hassle to drive there to then find out they don't have the stocks. Avoid going to this Midnight pharmacy.

  • Becca M

Go to GLENELG as there is a chemist on Jetty Rd that's open till 11pm or midnight (definitely 11pm). MUCH better pricing and staff are a LOT more friendlier. RUDE and ARROGANT staff at this chemist. It's odd that they changed from West Tce to Wakefield St. Wonder if it's from ALL the complaints people made and from McDonald's too (they were sick of needles in there carpark)

  • James Baylis

Only go to this store if every other option has been exhausted. And then consider if you can wait until the next morning when another pharmacy opens up. Careless, disinterested, lazy and bad attitude staff is what you will find here. When you get past that you will be unfairly slugged with inflated prices for having the convienience of a late night pharmacy.

  • Daman S

Supporting Premiers decision on 3 other 24/7 pharmacies, your greediness is not above someone else’s health, hopefully the doors close soon on Midnight pharmacies - your staff is bad and your jacked up prices are no good! Saw a woman with baby begging to get prescriptions when I came, now you’re crying about govt funded 3x24/7 pharmacies, shut up!

  • Sam Botten

Would happily use again. It’s open late and stocks pharmacy items at a higher price (say 40%) than competitors. Only pharmacy open late a night and I was happy it was and was happy to pay. I think a lot of the reviews here are inaccurate. Yes, the place is a little strange, but i appreciate that it exists and will most probably return, if needed.

  • Les Jay Co

This place is a total rip off, beware. After entering the store the assistant reminded me I had forgotten my mask. I was about to get one from the car but she said they had masks so I thanked her and put one on. Moments later after I had already worn it she said by the way it’s not free and that would be four dollars! Complete scammers look out.

  • ZM Safi

Very disrespectful and clueless. Worst customer service ever. They wouldn't let my husband pick up medication for me even after I called them. My husband went to another pharmacy and they were baffled and couldn't understand why Midnight Pharmacy wouldn't let my husband pick up my medication. Appalling service avoid at all costs.

  • 白纸与墨

I have been there 3 times. At the first time i found the price was over priced and I asked the owner why! He said because this is a 24hours pharmacy, ( at that time). I actually didn’t know if that is truth! But this one is the only one i know that open to midnight! Sometimes you have to go there even it’s so far from my home.

  • Haylee Grant

DO NOT go this pharmacy. Pharmacist gave me the wrong script for my 8 month old son and almost killed him. Manager of pharmacy now refuses to take any responsibility and has been extremely condecending and rude when trying to sort out the issue. If i could give less than a 1 star rating, i would. WORST pharmacy in Adelaide.

  • Jade Tatana

Good to see im not the only one, who has had bad experience with these guys, old lady very rude and the old man, always waiting long time, but very rude how this is still. Open amazes me, only go there when my voucher has there name on it she really gets me in a fluster, i told other half he's going in from now on!!!

  • Cain Deleeuw

Open until midnight is very helpful. This place is great! the staff really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Service was delightful and very professional. 10/10. I would highly recommend shopping here .

  • Katerina S

Not even worth 1 star. Chief pharmacist is rude and the place is a scam. Overcharged my mum by $40 for medication when she is on concession card. Medicare and PBS have told me to demand a refund and he refuses, making up any excuse. I have lodged a formal complaint with PBS so others are not scammed.

  • Liu Xing

Google should allow negative stars, this shop is insane. Charged three times more. Really a shop running in the dark. I dont understand how this shop is still surviving, let's sink it down. DO NOT GO, DO NOT BUY. I guarantee you will regret from entering to leaving . Bad words are compliments for it.

  • Rebecca

I was desperate, but I shouldn't have been stupid enough to go here during the day. After checking prices online at chemist warehouse I found one drug was 1/3 of the price at CW and one was about 2/3 of the same thing (brand and everything) at CW. Damn. That's 40 bucks I just threw down the drain.

  • Rupinder Singh

Not even worth a single star, place is a mess, whole roof is leaking, they had no hazard signs just had a mop bucket in the midst of the shop which was already full. Price of medicines are double compared to all other pharmacies and on top least interested customer service. God bless them.

  • Ashish Shrestha

It's good to have something open at night when everything is closed. That's a bliss. However, the place doesn't look much organised and have much stuffs like other pharmacies. But hey, it is very handy for emergency and as i said, when you have nothing else open at the time of the night.

  • Ahmad Ali Farooqui

Worst pharmacy and very rude and racist owners and workers. They are rude to almost everyone just because they are open till midnight. Government should take serious action against them. I was sick with cold today and they let me stand for more than 30 minutes and was not professional.

  • Stephen Gun

For some reason they took 15 minutes to put 20 tablets in a bottle. This is how pharmacies operated 20 years ago. Also, they're pretty expensive - hearing aid batteries are 50% more than in other pharmacies, and 300% more than online. Of course, the good thing is they're open late.

  • Jesse Butler

Absolutely disgusting service the pharmacist that look like a little boy (I think it was a girl) treated me so horribly when I was a day early on my script (simple mistake) instead of notifying me nicely me and my family were yelled at by the staff and told to get out of the store

  • Ari Small

It feels like a bomb went off and they are the last chemist open in the world like war smuggled prices and the remaining survives of nuclear devastation half dead and filled with radiation or just slow in the head. Biggest rip off ever don't expect using your concession card ether

  • Mr B

Very friendly service. Only pharmacy open this late and Im always helped promptly. Exhorberant prices but that's what you get being the only place open at this time. Great for birth control, pain killers etc (emergency stuff) Would wait till morning to fill bigger scripts

  • Jasmin Witham

I was grateful that this pharmacy was open late at night as I didn't have the option to wait till morning and go elsewhere. It's definitely a lot more expensive than other pharmacies. I didn't have any problems with the staff, and found the pharmacist quite helpful.

  • Hardik Patel

I arrive at midnight and they just close... Why name your business at what time you close instead of what time you are open??? Hi, welcome to Micky's Midday Chicken Shop, oh what is that? The time is 11.55am? Yeah kitchen is closed, we shut down at midday. WHAT

  • Robyn Elliott

I recently had a prescription filled at this pharmacy. I was aware that it was not covered by PBS and have previosly paid aroud $60.00 per script. Tonight In had to pay $109.80. Why such a difference? Is there an authority I can report this gross overpricing?

  • Ben Stuart

Had a script emailed to the pharmacy and when I went to pick it up, it was all to much of a bother, the response was my emails are overwhelmed. When asked what does that mean he just shrugged at me and wasn't bothered. Left empty handed after a 40 min drive.

  • Brenna Bishop

Rang for advice about medication during pregnancy - the second the guy answered the phone he was rude, cut me off and put me on hold. When he returned he was still just as rude, told me not to take the medication and offered no further advice and hung up.

  • Ben V

Very expensive prescriptions. Nearly triple the price of other places. The lady's excuse was that they were open until midnight despite I was there at midday ! Had to go here because it was a public holiday and no real alternative. Wouldnt recommend.

  • Gene Mercer

Slow service and scam prices. Bought a 30 pack of no-name brand telfast and was charged $30!!! Didnt register to me at the time but after googling i relaised you can get a 70 pack of the same from Chemist Warehouse for about $15. Absolute scam!!!

  • Pauline Su

Really overcharged and terrible aggressive attitude. We just asked if there was a box of 20 tablets and was being yelled at for no reason. Could have just said nicely that it doesn't come in a box of 20. That's it! Sorry lost my business mate.

  • Evan Morony

This place is all for the convenience. If you need a script filled last minute they have you covered. It certainly isn't flash and you pay a bit extra for the ability to go to the chemist at 1130 but the staff are always courteous and nice.

  • S Ryan

Rude!, Overpriced ,unhelpful, dirty store, tried to return unopened incorrect class 8 drug within 30 mins of despensed at their store once I'd seen the error, they refused, all Decent chemist give 24hr return policy. Avoid! ACCC report.

  • Fiona Gilchrist

O stars. this place is over priced with a mark up of $10 above regular retail prices. it looks disgusting and dodgy like out of a really bad movie. staff just as bad! The place refused to return an item which has no impressed me at all.

  • Andrew Wong

Good place to be if you have urgent need. Medicine price is higher than normal pharmacies. Two stars for the customer service. Also be careful of insane customers at night, some of them seem to be aggressive and dangerous.

  • Debojyoti Mukherjee

Worst place ever. I am amazed they are allowed to do business in Australia! I wish I read the reviews earlier. I ended up paying 3 times more than what I normally would for my prescription medicines . Never again... …

  • Elena Thomas

TRANSPHOBIC Refusal of service to trans people. They don’t even check for alternatives for prescriptions. This was beyond their standard bluntness, if looks could kill the old woman pharmacist would be wanted for murder

  • amy hall

Disgusting service and rude with pharmacist on duty at the moment he can’t give a price over the phone this place also refuses to sign stat decs even though pharmacists are on the list. Just want your money! Disgusting

  • Stephen Damms

Very very convenient especially if you have a sick little one in the middle of the night perfect for getting your medicines in an emergency in the middle of the night I personally think there should be more of them

  • yufan yang

Rude staff, took us forever to wait, 4 times more expensive medicines !!! I waited 20 minutes for them to get me the medicine. When I asked why was that so expensive, they said “IF YOU CANT AFFORD JUST LEAVE!!!!”

  • Sonja Bow

I got my prescription medication from here for $91!!! But i checked and its $45 everywhere else =( I didnt know that pharmacies could charge whatever they like for prescriptions, I'm never coming back here again!

  • Hamed yari

I have been there couple of times. Very bad behavior, 0 customer service , only reason i go there because there is no alternative. They dont know how to talk with the customers specially the guy at the cashier

  • Kukkudanandan KT

Very bad experience. Very expensive more than double the price from other pharmacies. I gave one star because they are open until midnight, so someone need urgent medicine can walk in. Or else - minus star.

  • SODE AUSTRALIA

I would actually rate it ZERO STARS. Waited 1 Hour and 30 Minutes for a script!! Horrible service, horrible staff, horrible chemist. DO NOT go here. How this place is legally operating, is beyond me AWFUL

  • Lincoln Davey

Honestly speaking, I didn't go here, but my wife did. She said that all the items were good priced but sadly we had to move because of work. Now we only can go to the bad chemists like Midnight Pharmacy.

  • Susannah

This place has a weird vibe, but when no one else was open, I was so grateful that I could get the medication I needed there. The lady who served me, was also the pharmacist, and she seemed quite nice.

  • Jun Ma

My baby was sick at 11:30 pm. I called the store and then went there to purchase. From my experience, both their attitude and price are reasonable. It is expensive, just because they work longer time.

  • Ralph Martins

Unbelievable! I paid 3 times the amount charged by other pharmacies. Does not deserve a single star. What surprises me is why a regulatory body is not taking action against this appalling behaviour!

  • Dipu Revindranadhan

Very expensive. More than 50% more price compared to other pharmacies. When I ask them I want to return immediately, they said they can’t take it back. Not at all satisfied with this pharmacy.

  • James

The prices seemed a bit high but I was satisfied with the service, went in there when it wasn't busy to fill a prescription and didn't have any issues. Also open later than most pharmacy's.

  • Chloe Wilson

Called politely to speak to pharmacist and was told “nope he’s too busy at the moment”, no offer of apology. Proceeded to ask my question to the attendant answering my call, who was rude

  • saqib hussain

Rude behaviour. Took Panadol syrup for kids which is usually much more less in price with other chemists, 3mins after getting it asked for refund and they refused it showing no respect.

  • Richard Tyerman

Twice the price if not more than any other pharmacy, if someone opened a midnight pharmacy with sensible prices they would cripple this thief. Accc should investigate the price gouging.

  • Keana Williams

After a very long shift at work came here to fill an urgent script. Such lovely staff. Gave me helpful advice. Very thankful to have a midnight chemist with such a welcoming atmosphere

  • Isaac Dodd

There was a small European man selling 'Cheaper Alternatives" out the front for a fraction of the price. I would say to passers by DO NOT buy from this man, you will have a bad time.

  • Hitesh Kumar

Always thankful as this is the only place that helps in emergency. I found them to be polite. Yes over priced but happy to pay extra to have this service outside the normal hours.

  • James Crabtree

Bloody scammers, incredibly rude staff, took twenty minutes to get one morning after pill which cost 40 dollars. Such a scam and rip off, Don't go there unless its an emergency.

  • Randy West

Late night convenience is where it stops… charging 10 x the price ($20) for items that are mega cheap elsewhere ($2), is opportunistic thievery at its most blatant. Good times…

  • Candise Mastanduono (sour)

I went here with my mum, the place looked dodgy and kind of smelled, but I would only go here as a last resort, or if it's urgent, besides that I wouldn't recommend this place.

  • Araluen Villis

Way overpriced for prescriptions, I paid an extra $29 for one product. Absolute rip off, as well as questionable hygiene for a pharmacy. Would not recommend if you can avoid.

  • otto titslinger

If you want 24 hour service you have expect to pay for it. Used it a few times with sick kids, always had what I wanted. If you don't want to pay for it go to a servo.

  • Luke James

$44.50 for a prescription that’s under $10 anywhere else. I know you’re open until midnight & I like to support independent business, but that is extortionate.
