I purchased a picture from Millhouse having visited and been really impressed with the goods available. Having placed a third down as a deposit, I was advised that it would be ready to collect in 2-3 weeks. However, this timescale passed and I received no contact to let me know that there would be a delay. I chased only to be informed initially that they couldn’t find my details. Fortunately they did call me back to say that they had a lot of clients with the same surname and had eventually found me in the system. I asked why the delay and they stated that there was an issue with the supplier. Upon questioning I received no further information. I was told 2 more weeks for delivery at which point the occasion which I had bought this for had passed. Once again I received no contact and was forced to chase again (this time after 6 weeks). I explained my disappointment which drew an apology but that was it. I did explain that if I had been informed of any significant delay I could have purchased this from Barker & Stonehouse and had the painting without issue. I have finally picked up the goods and whilst happy with the purchase, the lack of apology when I did, I find astounding. I can only put this down to them not keeping a track of their clients and issues they may be having. Either that or complete apathy. Overall not a great experience from what I initially thought would be a business that cared for it’s customer base.

Outstanding customer service, Popped in to pay some money off our sofa at the weekend, Greeted with such a warm friendly welcome, Prosecco & Lattes all round. We weren’t buying a sofa on that day so you’d think probably won’t get the red carpet treatment but absolutely yes we totally did. Couldn’t have been more wrong drinks were kept topped up Jayne was so helpful when we bought our sofa a few weeks ago with colours & pattern choices, and ‘auntie’ Jayne was super helpful we bought a Christmas garland she advised about fixing up etc and gave me some extra wire. We added a footstool to our order. Jayne helped us out with that, she’s really good at putting ideas together, so a particular thank you to her. Just nothing was too much trouble, it’s very rare these days to receive fantastic customer service so just wanted to praise the guys for this at Millhouse, it genuinely makes such a difference, and for me really decides if I purchase or not. Can’t wait for the sofa to arrive hopefully in late January, Thank you so much for a wonderful shopping experience

Unfortunately not a good experience. The shop is lovely with some beautiful items. However; our sofa was 8-10 weeks late. When it arrived it was the wrong one. We were advised approx 2 weeks for replacement correct seat cushions, but that took a further 4-6 weeks. Sofa was damaged upon delivery. we're now a further 4-6 weeks since a specialist came to review the damage to be told it'll need a whole recover of one half of the leather. Still no repair in sight. We have had to chase updates ourselves every time, calls are not quickly returned and we are currently still awaiting a call that was promised last week. we have been more that reasonable, more than polite and now I feel like i'd just like it taking away and my money returning, a very bitter taste in our mouths and a terrible experience considering the money we've spent.

If you are after quality furniture, a great choice and friendly staff look at what Millhouse furniture have to offer. After not being able to find a suite we liked at the ‘mainstream’ retailers we called at Millhouse on recommendation. The choice of furniture was really good and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We were advised by Bethan who excellent. She answered all our questions and advised us in an impartial and informed way, she wasn’t pushy and didn’t rush us - she gave the impression she really liked her job, which was re-assuring. We bought a suite and it was delivered today, on time. All in all I couldn’t fault anything about the whole experience and would recommend to anyone

Having purchased from this family business for over 25 years I am still impressed with the level of choice, the quality on offer but above all the outstanding customer experienced offered by Jane and Lewis. I purchased a dinning room table in December and desperately wanted it for Christmas Day, Lewis pulled out all the stops and it arrived on 21st December. The attention to detail that Jane offers, her guidance and expertise is exceptional. I can not recommend this business enough. If you are looking to make a purchase, call and make an appointment with Jane or Lewis, you will not be disappointed. I can't wait to take delivery of my new furniture!

Visited this store on a recommendation, it was WELL worth the journey. Beautiful shop to walk around and get inspiration. (Even gave us advice on where to eat locally as we were ravenous for lunch after the journey!) Customer service exceptional, they listened to what we wanted and gave us some great advice and thoughts. We placed an order for two settees and am already mulling over some side tables and other bits and pieces. It really was an exceptional store / experience. Customer service is appalling. Ordered a corner sofa in April and arrived two weeks ago completely wrong. The corner had been put on the wrong side, the feet were completely wrong and different colours on the sofa and ottoman! My living room was decorated in such a way that it was going to match this suite, I was devastated. No apology for sending the wrong order just was told it wasn’t checked before dispatch because the paperwork said it was correct! Had to wait a full 7 days for my deposit refund and no offer of any compensation for the stress and upset this has caused. Pay a bit more and go with a reputable company you can trust.

My wife and I visited today and bought a dining suite and chairs. Very pleased with our choice and how well we were treated by the extremely polite and patient 5 star Bee. ( Please dont keep calling me, Sir, though :) We were even given coffee and biscuits. We were also allowed to take home swatches to see them in our home to make sure they were what we wanted to match our decore. This was despite being new stock and could have been required by other customers. A very good price for the quality of the suite, and looking foward to having it delivered. Shopping here is a good experience and the selection of furniture is also quite good, priced according to your taste and purse. We ordered living room furniture and dining chairs in September 2021, delivery was about as expected (12 - 14 weeks), apart from no dining chairs, now into February 2022 and no chairs. Unfortunately I can't say when we will receive them because nobody answers the phone if you call, (if your there shopping you'll hear the phone ringing off the hook). An answering service advises you to email them for attention but tried that, still no response, frustrating.

Ordered a sofa in February. Estimated delivery within 3 months, then changed to 4 months. Once arrived in warehouse it took another 2 weeks for delivery date. No call prior to delivery. Sofa quality good. Found same sofa slightly cheaper after placed order but wasn't worth the hassle of negotiating on price at this stage. Overall, in-store service good, furniture quality excellent but also to be expected for prices. As other reviews have commented, after sales service is a let down, especially considering this is not a budget store.

This is a nice store and a lovely range of furniture and accessories. We purchased some wardrobes in November 21, fitted in Feb 22 as planned, small colour error meant further delay of 3 months so obviously disappointing, supply chains are an issue at present. Victoria however was excellent and addressed our concerns very well, courteous and professional. Very pleased with finished installation, their installers/fitters are excellent too, on time, clean and tidy and efficient.

Love this place. Stylish, ever changing/updating to current and classic trends. It’s the best place for miles and always well worth the visit. Friendly staff here will help you find what you’re looking for. Had a fabulous couple of hours this morning with plenty of Christmas decoration purchases, their displays are truly stunning and all thanks to their loyal staff. A true gem just off the M1 motorway, go and visit them, you will not be did disappointed

Visited Millhouse this weekend, to order a new sofa wasn’t sure on colours or fabrics, Adele,s customer service was amazing she spent lots of time with us helping us choose , nothing was too much trouble for her and so pleased with what she helped us put together. Absolutely phenomenal shop for all your household needs. Incredible staff, both helpful (that does not cover the service they provide) and down to earth. Always made to feel welcome and attended to. The shopping experience and products they sell are amazing, but the after sales is very poor, very little communication, when you go to collect your items you are waiting whilst they go find you order. This is not the first time we have shopped with Mill House but every experience has been the same so it will be the last that’s for sure

We visited Millhouse Pine today with the intentions of reviewing furniture for future des ideas however in the end we were so impressed with the service, value and quality of the furniture that we bought a sofa, chair, cushions and foot stool. Jane in store was a fantastic help - I recommend speaking with her when you make a visit

Absolute joke of a company made my parents wait 6 months for a sofa after saying 1 months on the day before delivering sofa someone van breaks down. How they get customers is beyond me never ever order from this company. Disgusting and rude staff. Disgusting and appalling customer service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!

We has such a fantastic experience at Millhouee, the staff were lovely and very helpful. We told them what we were looking for from a sofa and the sofa they had in mind for us was perfect and managed to squeeze us in for a quick delivery. We will definitely be back for one of those giant Reed diffusers!

Visited this place many times and always has a good choice of products. It has modern furniture. It's in a nice building . Staff are helpful and polite. The items for sale are a very reasonable priced . There's plenty of parking. Looking forward to purchasing more items from this place .
