Reasonably priced Cantonese dishes, good for dine-in and takeout. Onion OR salt n pepper pork chops are both fire. During lunch we typically get different types of chow mein and chow fun, but the family banquets (pre-set multi-course meals) are great too. We've hosted large gatherings here with around 20-30 adults and kids at once. Of course you should work with them to plan ahead if you want to do that. There's an upstairs part too that is more private. Cleanliness and service are fine by my standards, but give it a try. Bet you'll come back and at least order to-go if you live around the neighborhood. I am so glad they've remained open through the pandemic.

My parents love this place and we come often. It’s comfort food all the way and i always look forward to family birthday dinners because we always eat here. My favorites are their meats on sizzling platters (think it was the pork chop) and the oxtail sauce—-sooo good with rice. My mom who’s buddhist comes here for the vegetarian dishes, which is the chief chef’s specialty. You know it’s authentic chinese food when the waiters chat loudly and excitedly with regulars and the service is fast fast fast. No frills, which is fine with me cuz the food is cheap and tasty. Large place good for groups and families

Tried to order from these guys online for delivery. After 40 min they called and left a message that they didn't have a delivery person and had canceled my order (too bad...would have done pickup). I called to arrange pickup...told me I had made a mistake and then hung up on me (what?!). Tried to call back but they stopped answering the phone...just a really weird interaction overall...fortunately there are lots of other good Chinese options around here that will actually sell you food.

My first time here was a great experience. My husband and i were driving our dad around doing some sight seeing. It had been over 20 years since he'd been to San Francisco. It was a cold night and we were starting to get hangry. We were happy to see that Ming's Diner was open until 10pm. It's a cozy warm little spot. The service was great and the food was tasty.

Absolutely delicious vegan Chinese food. High quality ingredients and really flavorful. I also love the old vibe of the place, a nostalgia for what San Francisco used to be. The couple working here is very humble, generous and kind. It’s truly a neighborhood gem.

Ate there for lunch for Chinese New Year. Very animated restaurant, can feel very loud. It serves decent Cantonese food, and some HK cafe style dishes. The fried flounder dish was wonderful, their beef dishes may be of questionable quality.

This food is really good! first time trying vegan food and did not know what to expect! all the dishes we ordered were delicious, highly recommend the salt and pepper ribs! we finished the whole dish on the drive home!

it's not the most cleanest restaurant food is decent and price point. Cantonese style cuisine is fair and decent. I typically don't have a high expectation so I would usually rate these establishments as average.

No thrills local spot we always come to for our family dinners. Solid food, decently cheap prices and almost always has seats available! Only negative is they charge you more for paying with credit card!

Truly enjoyed my dine-in experience at Ming's. Food was all fresh and tasty. The waiters and the lady owner was all nice and service was quick and efficient. I would love to come back again.

Great vegan sausages and tons of beer options. Delicious even for vegetarians! Close to union square. Always a fun place in the evening due to all the beers on tap.

Used to dine in regularly, but we switched to take out because of CoVid. Food is consistently good and well-priced. Takeout portions are also quite generous.

Called to place a takeout order but no one answered. I was close by so I drove over and they were closed. Didn't notice any signs mentioning a closure.

Worst general tsos chicken I've ever had. Wader was also super rude and didn't bring our drink until we were basically done eating

All the food was prepare perfectly, most amazingly was their eggplant, not usually a fan but here it was made amazingly.
