Mira road is one of the two railway stations serving the Mira Bhayander Area on the western line of Mumbai Suburban Railway network. Only local trains halt here. Platforms no 1 and 3 are used by Virar (north) bound trains while Platforms 2 & 4 are used by Churchgate (south) bound trains. It is moderately crowded station. It is very difficult to board heavily crowded trains coming from Virar but the trains originating from Bhayander give the much needed relief. It has all passenger amenities like skywalk, ample walking space, well managed roads, parking lot for scooter, public transport buses etc. The west side of station is uninhabited with just salt pans and mangroves. It is the east side of station where the residential areas of mira road like Srishti, Shanti Nagar, Western Park, Kashimira, Mira Gaothan, Entire Mira -Bhayander Road are situated and served by this station. MBMT buses are available to all the residential areas of Mira Road and some towards Bhayander too. Buses to Thane are available: TMT 57, BEST C-61, MBMT 29 and AC 29. BEST Buses going to Dahisar/Borivali in Mumbai City are available too: BEST 701, 703, 710. BEST C-71 operates till Mahim through Western Exp Highway.

In this station there is four railway track lines and from platfrom number one all train go to virar so if anyone have to go virar from Mira road Railway Station then they can prefer by platforms number one and for go churchgate side from platforms number three. And there was atvm facilities also for take your train ticket. Cleaning maintain and some electrical lift work on progress at present. If anyone go from east side in the miraroad then there is so much good view to see market like where can buy all things like for dailly using. Very very close and at exist point at miraroad east there can see all the shops who selling fruits and vegetables and some shops are selling like all electronic things and related to mobile phone like hands-free and mobile cover and wrist watch and so many things. And here all trains stop like slow train and fast train so don't worry to slow and fast can catch all the train for your complete destination. At this station only bridge facilities can get to go one platforms to another platforms and no facilities from inside inside to go another platforms. I'm. Attaching some pics view of mira road station and there is some plants also

The station is clean. Outside the station, things are in disciplined manner whether it be Autorickshaws or Buses or Cars. There is enough Space for Vehicle Movements and public Movements. Only thing i am giving it 4 Stars because there is no Trees outside the station for which the climate in Summers gives Sweaty High temperatures. There is escallator on the station which is a relief. The Stations opposite side is empty farms and only one side is accessible. Food Stalls at the station is good. They provide cold water for free. Vada pavs, Samosa and the Locals famous Ragda pav is available. For the Trains there is Fast Trains Running for Churchgate which is Fast after the Station Borivali, i.e. it runs Borivali - Andheri - Bandra - Dadar - Churchgate.

Mira Road (Pronunciation station code: MIRA) is a passenger railway station located at Mira Road, a suburb in the Western Suburbs of Mumbai. It is situated between Borivali and Bhayandar stations on the Western line, of Mumbai Suburban Railway. The route of the station is located between the salt pan towards the western zone of the suburb leading towards Bhayandar. Platform 1 and 3 are for north bound trains towards Bhayander and Virar while platform 2 and 4 are for south bound trains towards Borivali, Andheri, Bandra, Dadar and Churchgate. Slow trains use platform 1 and 2 (with an exemption of Fast trains originating and terminating from Bhayander which also use the same platforms) while 3 and 4 are used by Fast trains originating from Virar.

  • Anirudh Shetty

Local railway station in the Western line. There is Mira road city on the east and barren lands on the west. The railway station is recently renovated and is picturesque but get usually crowded with street vendors. You can get share auto rickshaws to many parts of the city and must enquire and stand in the appropriate line. There is a bus station nearby from whee you get bus going towards Thane or Borivali. Paid and Safe parking for two wheeler available There are ATMs of SBI, Kotak and some more banks available just outside the railway station. #westernrailway #slowtrainstop

This is a railway station, what more do you expect in the reviews section. In the recent past it has undergone some changes, makes it look sprawling and has been converted to 4 track. There are 2 stations and fast trains towards Churchgate ply mostly form platform 4. Trains originate from either the neighboring Bhayander or Borivali. Busy platform and getting in trains during the peak hours can be a nightmare. Cleanliness is maintained and has a good skywalk. You can spot college friends hanging out on them. Another menace is the swarm of beggars which needs to be addressed.

Mira Road station has certainly undergone a nice facelift over time! Credit to the local authorities for that. I certainly loved the Roman or Greek facade at the entrance. It makes the entrance quite eye-catching. Recently I have noticed a beautiful statue erected to commemorate the brave Indian soldiers. It's presence has pushed the hawkers out of the entrance and to the periphery. The cobblestone work at the entrance has also added a nice touch. Hope you get a chance to visit Mira Road. It's also a great place for foodies and shopaholics alike.

  • Nik

Mostly crowded specially in pick hours, only have east side, you can not go to west as there is nothing on west side of railway station. you can find many small vendor outside station, selling, mobile accessories, fruit, toys and many, also have vegetables market on back side of station . Tain Platform is quite clear and maintained. And does not have stop for mail train. For local train almost all train have stop. Also have auto stand and bus stand.

Mira Road is a passenger railway station located at Mira Road town of Thane district. It is situated between the Borivali and Bhayandar stations on the Western line, of the Mumbai Suburban Railway. One of the crowded station on Western Railway... typically crowded at Morning and Evening peak hours...station is good in condition but it can be more beautiful...there are hawkers outside the station and also at over bridge. Parking for bikes available.

  • Shekhar Ulli (Shekhar)

Mira Road is a railway station located in Thane district. Starting from Mira Road Station to Virar Station, all these stations comes under Thane District of Maharashtra. It is situated between the Dahisar Station and Bhayandar stations on the Western line. It has 4 platforms with 2 for Slow line (Up and Down) and 2 for fast line(Up and Down) towards Churchgate and towards Virar. Mira Road offers easy connectivity to Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai.

  • sahil nagpal

Mira road station is very well maintained with facilities for travellers to move around the city. Also mira road station has the Roman or Greek facade at the entrance. It makes the entrance quite eye-catching. Recently I have noticed a beautiful statue erected to commemorate the brave Indian soldiers. It's presence has pushed the hawkers out of the entrance and to the periphery. Also best place for shopholics and travellers. Clean station.

  • Imran Shaikh

The station does its job, however, there is a whole lot of scope for improvements. The platforms are uneven and that is a hazard during the rainy season as there are puddles formed due to stagnant water which create bigger health hazards. The foot over bridge needs urgent repair so that the commuters don't get injured. The pic is attached. There is material leftover from the work undertaken left on the platform for a long time.

  • Navneet Joshi

A busy station to experience travel in Mumbai local. If you want to travel comfortably, then I will suggest buying an AC ticket as now there is a full ac train service available. There is not much difference in first class and second class. Better to have at least an AC compartment. Also, keep an eye on fast trains they usually help in getting the destination faster as compared to the slow one(which stops almost every stop)

  • Prajwal Kather

One of the biggest and most famous railway stations of mumbai . It is a location famous and top spot for many movie and we series. Famous series like family man etc have been shot here . Also just outside the station there is a statue of jawan and a famous restaurant. The vicinity also has many lodging options for travellers. Also the street besides station is filled with hawkwers selling all sorts of yummy munchies .

  • ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ Manpreet Singh Gulati

Typically Mumbaiaa crowded n among busiest railway station for Mumbai locals. Though not much developed as it must be for which we citizens have for long are paying taxes. Lacks lot of proper organising, infra development & maintenance, in and around. Cleanliness is one major concern too from users too, big time messy people. The maiden visit to Mumbai made me deboard here too didn't make impressive memory

  • Keenan Fernandes

Mira Road is a Rail Station after Dahisar in the South & before Bhayandar in the North. All Mumbai Local Trains - Slow & Fast halt here in both directions except few of the Fast Trains. Platforms 1 & 3 are for Trains towards Virar & Dahanu Road in the North. Platforms 2 & 4 are for Trains towards Churchgate in the South. Platforms 1 & 2 are for Slow Trains & Platforms 3 & 4 are for Fast Trains.

Essel World and waterkingdom is too close to have a great time in weekends... and the most important reason is that affordable housing with all these.

Nearest to Bhayandar and Dahisar station !! Located after Bhayandar and Dahisar station, this is nicely maintained station on Western line that caters for Churchgate and Virar crowd. You don't get fast trains from here, just slow trains for Borivali and Virar. Slow trains for Andheri and Churchgate also available.
