After many pleasant orders at this place I just had a terrible experience. I ordered a vegetarian Pho, beef Pho and Calamari. The beef in the soup was half raw and there was no tofu in my vegetarian soup. When I called the restaurant (1.5 hr ago) the girl on the phone told me that they will send their delivery guy with the tofu. I declined as the tofu had been cooked in the soup every other time, plus I was about to have dinner with my family and wasn't fine to sit and wait for the tofu whilst they ate/ their dinner got cold waiting for my tofu. I was also told that the meat in the soup was supposed to be half raw and we needed to heat the broth at a really high temperature and then add it to the soup so the meat would cook. This was not explained neither on the website or upon delivery. After a long conversation over the phone with the girl she said that the delivery guy would bring the refund for my soup in cash. After 5 min she called back again, claiming that the chef confirmed that my soup definitely had tofu and they won't offer a refund. I explained that my soup definitely did not have tofu, hence why I was on the phone with her instead of sitting down at the table having dinner with my family. I also offered to show her the food via face time or to send a picture as she repeatedly claimed that there's definitely tofu in my food. I asked her to find her manager so I can speak with them. 5 min later she called again saying that the manager said that I could have double tofu next time (?!?). I asked her to give me my refund and to have the manager call me. Still waiting. I've ordered regularly from this restaurant previously and have recommended it to many friends, but you just lost a regular customer. Beyond poor service, being sent the wrong food then being called a liar and not hearing back from the manager.

There exists a certain magical quality, that cannot be described, but can only be felt: The ability of some rare individuals, to make you feel as if you have known them your entire life. Carolyn and Phil of Miss Viet, possess such quality - it translating loudly into the food they made. Their warm hospitality reminded me of the golden ages of dining - where the experience began from the second you enter the door, until the moment you leave. And from showing us to our table, until eventually stepping out the door, the wonderful Carolyn maintained an unflinching generosity and authenticity that the now-jaded hospitality industry sorely lacks. So much so, I might well have pulled up a chair for her amongst my family. Phil, whose some 20 years in the kitchen having not wearied him, rather possessed such skill and love for his craft, that it seasoned every mouthful of all 15 dishes we ordered. I found myself on many occasions, loudly articulating my confusion, of how a humble "salad" could "taste so good"?!? (An unbelievably foreign concept to me). All in all - no amount of gold leaf and caviar in the world, can beat good, honest, quality food. And Miss Viet was - in whole - such a memorable experience that I could not award higher praise. I saw a lovely elderly couple enjoying fired calamari and their drinks. Other than the couple the restaurant was empty. No staff to be seen, I walked all the way through the restaurant past the kitchen to the restrooms. I heard a faint “hello” as I closed the door. As I came back through the kitchen I slowed my walk and hovered at the door before I was asked if I needed help. After some small banter I was served my wine. (Thank you for the extra pour) Unfortunately I was served a dirty glass and sat at a sticky bench. I cannot comment on the food as I had not ordered any. *Firstly staff should not be coming in if they are ill in any way shape or form. That’s food safety 101. The fact that you have tried to justify my experience through excuses instead of owning responsibility and apologising for the experience I received has lost you a future customer. The appropriate response would be to apologise for the dreadful time I had and invite me back for an improved experience. Was never looking for freebies and was only looking for decent customer service at a nice venue as I’m sure many people would be. If I could degrade this to 0 stars I would but unfortunately 1 is as low as we can go. I wish you the best of luck for your future but to anyone that attends your venue I hope they’re treated far better than I was.

I order the noodle stir-fry with beef. The service was standard and the waitress was attentive. The food look great however it came soaked in the sauce at the bottom (as seen in the photo). Usually this doesn't concern me however as I had my first bite it was very salty. It seems to be the sauce which I asked the waitress to drain the sauce out as it was very salty. The food came back a little later with minimal sauce. It was still pretty salty which I only end up eating a quarter of it and finally gave up. I drained a full bottle of coke along with the food but it didn't help me to finish the noodle. As I was paying, I informed the staffs that the food was very salty after being asked how it was. They seems to notice my barely eaten food however didn't seems to offer any solution. I paid the 22.50$ for the noodle and 1 bottle of coke.

We went to Miss Viet last night as a group of 4 and it’s absolutely a place I would recommend for a menu with every tasty Asian tapas you could want, beautiful mains and very good cocktails! There wasn’t a dish anyone in our group didn’t enjoy, with the pork and chive dumplings, lamb ribs special and tofu eggplant being the standouts. The staff were all great, food came quickly and they were happy to have us sit and chat for a couple of hours. We’ll be back in future!

I’m shocked to read these false reviews as I’ve been a regular for more than 20 years at this wonderful family run restaurant. Cleary someone’s disgruntled and trying to defame and discredit the establishment. Unsurprisingly the same person has written poor reviews for other restaurants that I too have eaten at and had nothing but praise for. I’ve reported these false reviews to google as I know how difficult it is for small business in todays times. Google will deal with this defamatory matter. The law is catching up with these catfish profiles and can identify the perpetrators and deal with them accordingly. See you at Miss Viet!

What a find !! I’m from Sydney and we arguably have the best south East Asian cuisine in the country….but this place is a little gem. Exceptional service from two lovely young ladies serving customers…but the real surprise is the delicious food. Pho comes in many versions, this is the delicious version….while salt and pepper calamari is not a standard Vietnamese dish, these guys know how it should be done and it is done very well. Thank you for your wonderful service and delicious food, I will visit again on my return to “sunny” Melbourne.

My friends and I were recommended to visit Miss Viet 3 months ago. Since then we visited Miss Viet 4 times including my birthday party celebration with family. Very friendly staff, nice decor. Had a mid-week lunch and was quite impressed! The furnishings and contemporary decor (with striking murals) as well as the ambient music gave a chilled-out vibe. The pho was fantastic - very beefy and flavourful. The gentleman that served me and my husband was friendly and attentive, even asking us how sweet we like our Vietnamese iced coffee before making it. I’d say I’d come again but unfortunately I’m moving interstate! Learn from my mistake and visit sooner rather than later!

Absolute banger of a meal here boys, Ordered the chicken satay noodles from the expansive custom noodle menu and let me tell you, the chef cooked it up better than Mama used to make. I've been to Vietnam and I'm not normally a huge fan of Vietnamese food but Miss Viet was excellent. One of my best Vietnamese food experiences. I ate a tasty chicken curry and the server surprised me but giving a complimentary desert of ice cream and some sort of chocolate profiteroles but without cream (they were delicious). The decor is also really good. Miss Viet is a gem hidden in the suburbs.

Called up and ordered delivery from Miss Viet. The food arrived sooner than their predicted time, hot, packaged well and delicious!! We ordered spring rolls, chicken ribs, pork bun vermicelli salad and beef pho. Everything was so tasty! They handled my allergies well too. Highly recommend

We had a magnificent lunch at Miss Viet today. The chef Fung is not only brilliant at cooking but she is a very pleasant person to deal with. The owner is lovely too. Been here a few times both in large groups and small. We have always found the staff to be excellent. Friendly, attentive and eager to go the extra mile. It was packed (Friday night) but they still got us a table within a few minutes. Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about food options and ingredients. Tasteful decor, prompt and friendly service. The pho was 6/10, however the chicken curry had too many dried potatoes which deteriorated the experience, the bread was dry and too crisp for my liking. However the menu had potential to warrant a return visit to redeem my first encounter.

We live locally. We ordered via the restaurant website and unfortunately food was about 30-40mins late. However food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced given the good quality. Also serving sizes were excellent. Would order again and we highly recommend to others.
