On Saturday we unfortunately missed the last train home to widnes, the station master was just locking up and did his absolute best to get a taxi for us,it was a wet horrible night and I am he would have glad just been glad to go home himself, so give this guy a pat on the back

A small station with links to Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Picadilly. Staff in the ticket office are very helpful but there is no ticket machine at this station. The gap between the train and platform edge can be particularly large, especially on platform two.

Friendly and helpful ticket office staff. But difficult access issues getting on and off trains on platform 2. Big gap and high step up/down on/off train difficult for people with prams or elderly.

Stopped at Mossley Hill near the Sports Direct fitness gym while stopping at Liverpool Lime Street.

Really good if you want to travel to or from Mossley Hill.
