I received a £20 voucher from a family for Motor Marque as my service and MOT was due I decided to try Motor Marque being a first time customer. I spoke with a very polite gentleman called Sam who provided a realistic price for the service, MOT, a courtesy car and he also mentioned my car will valeted too! (having a dog this was a bonus!). I decided to book in. Everything went smoothly on the day the car was due in. The location is easy to find, lovely reception area and polite members of staff at reception. After dropping off the car and sorting out the details with Sam I was on my way, I reconfirmed my car would be washed and valeted which he said will be done. I received a call from Sam confirming my car was ready to collect within 30 minutes as it was being finished off with a full valet. I collected my car around 5pm which at that time of the year it’s very dark outside. I was unable to check the full valet until the next morning when I realized that the car had not been touched at all inside but it had only been given a wash. I called back to verify exactly what Motor Marque classed as a ‘Valet’ as it was not carried out. Obviously having dogs in my car the valet was something I expected to be done as promised because as far as know “a valet” is where the car being is cleaned both inside and out. If that wasn’t the intention of Motor Marque they should say “we will give the car a wash” instead. It’s clearer. After complaining I received a call back from the branch manager Mark. He was apologetic regarding my car not receiving the proper care and that a valet is something they do not offer while the car is in for service it is only a mini valet (meaning a wash i guess). Mark offered a full valet free of charge as due to their error which I accepted. The car was immaculate when I got it back I was extremely pleased. Overall I would recommend Motor Marque even if the free valet was not offered as the company are very professional and with offering a full valet as of the mix up, you can see they take customer satisfaction seriously.

Would not recommend going here unless you have money to burn! my girlfriend took her car for its MOT. It failed on all break pipes, two tyres, a track rod end and for having a sticker on the window. She was quoted £572 for all the work. She said that she would sort the tyres herself with part worns leaving the rest of the work costing a pound or two less than £400. She took her car to get the tyres and was told by the person changing them that they did not have 'cuts in excess of the requirements deep enough to reach the ply or cords'. The MOT tester who works there then came and had a look and said the tread was a bit low and would be classed as an advisory. This coupled with the fact that The receptionist aka sales lady was a bit too over the top with her enthusiasm for getting the car booked made my girlfriend get a second opinion from M&S tyres on pontefract road. They told her the break pipes were slightly rusted as Expected on an old car however they were still fully covered by plastic casing and should not even have been classed as an advisory. He then fixed her track rod end for a total cost of £35. (She of course needed to pay for the MOT again on top).May I add that The sticker on the windscreen that was an original failure was laughed at by the mechanics at M&S tyres. There is not enough decent garages out there and unfortunately this is not one. Would highly recommend M&S tyres on pontefract road. Motor marque replies 3 years later with the stupidest comment of course you don’t have a record of me it was my girlfriends car and her name. I’m not going to share her details online but unless you don’t keep records you will have it. Review still stands and is 100% true of what happened.

Took my car in for full/major service before Christmas. Was told that it had an oil leak which I'd not noticed before but accepted and asked what best course of action was. They were clearly overbooked as anytime I spoke about booking it in to get the leak sorted, they weren't keen on it and said it would take weeks and cost alot. They said don't worry about it. They replaced fuel filter as part of service. Took the car home and there was an overwhelming smell of oil/diesel. Called the place back and asked if they can look at it as it was uncomfortable to be in the car as the smell was coming through to the cabin. I took photos of the fuel filter, then took the car back for them to re inspect their work. The chap called me back and told me everything they had done was fine, even though it was clipped in differently when I got the car back for the second time which rang alarm bells. (have photos of before and after) A week or so later, I saw a leak coming from a different part of engine and a rubber seal/grommet sat lose under the plastic engine cover and a plastic hose with oil round it that had clearly not been clicked in properly. Yes-that may have happened after, but seemed very odd that after a full service at £265 suddenly the car reeked of oil for a couple of weeks and then I spotted this. They were reasonable to deal with and decent on the phone with me but I won't be taking my car back to them, as it felt like they weren't being totally honest with me and I made it clear that if there was issue then we should have it sorted regardless of cost. Hopefully it was a one off bad experience as I'd done my research and picked this garage as they have some really good reviews.

Having used Motor Marque numerous time over the years i thought it was time I posted a review. When you arrive you are greeted with a modern reception area with free WiFi and various refreshments. Staff are always welcoming, helpful and eager to please. It's such a refreshing change to experience this level of service outside of the main dealer environment but I have to say Motor Marque have excelled. Given the experience you would think that it would reflect in the pricing but they are really competitive. I recently took my car for some new tyres and whilst providing 'whilst you wait' service I noticed they have started selling approved used cars. I expressed my interest in a replacement car for my wife, Liam was most helpful and found us the perfect 12 month old Audi which they had in stock.....with 3 years free servicing I was truly blown away. We are collecting next week......Happy wife, Happy Life!! Keep up the good work guys!

We had an issue with the clutch on our car which was getting stuck in reverse and stalling. I called up Motor Marque on the Friday morning to ask if they could take a look at it and if they had any courtesy cars as we had family visiting over the weekend. Two minutes on the phone and we had the car booked in and a courtesy car available for me to collect. I dropped the car off with the friendly staff explaining what they thought the fault might be, ran through Ts and Cs with the courtesy car and a promise they'd be in touch. A few hours later and I was told they had diagnosed the fault (hydraulic cylinder) and could order a part for replacement today and they gave a breakdown of cost over the phone. By 16:30 I had collected the repaired car! Excellent, friendly and professional service all round considering I thought I'd get it back middle of the following week. We'll definitely be using Motor Marque again!

I went to Motor Marque under the recommendation of my boss and I will never look again for anywhere else. Kate (who has incredible teeth) walked me through the entire process of what was going to happen with my car and based on the fact I know nothing - I was incredibly grateful. I picked up my car after the diagnostic to find it had been valeted. Then when I took it back - they did it again! They dropped me off at work and picked me up again when my car was finished. It was just next level customer care. It wasn't cheap, by any stretch... but I felt like I would have paid much more for what I got (for my car troubles alone) anywhere else. And I *trusted* that they were telling me the truth about what was going on with my car - which I rarely feel with car sales people...

I have used this place for years and it really does sadden me that I have gave them 2 stars. The service has really slipped, it has a feel they've made cut backs and desperate for money. I live about 5 miles away and asked for a lift, they don't have a driver. Then I got the quote and I did feel I was being robbed. The woman quoted a list of things and made it out if I didn't get it done my car would be ruined Then topped it off by saying "well a nice car like that, comes at a cost to maintain" Then I asked for some scratches to be taken out, to be told, oh we couldn't do that. But they could take 2k I had to pay. There is so much about this place that feels wrong. Take my 2k guys. You're coming across as a back alley garage and no doubt this will be your down fall.

Arranged an appointment to have a scraping sound from under the car investigated. Turned out the tray cover under the engine had come loose and was catching the road service. They had the car on ramps so invited me into the workshop. I asked them to order a new part but they advised it didn't need one as they could fix it while I wait. 15 mins later they were done. They then refused payment because it was a "10 minute job". Wow. Great service. I left a small tip and asked if they would buy lunch for the three staff working that Satirdsy morning. We have two cars.....and they have just got a new customer for all service and MOT'S.

I was looking for a trustworthy garage to look after my old S3 and came across this little gem. I booked the car in for a full service and MOT and requested they advised me of how the car was as I had only bought it 6 months previously. It failed the MOT on the rear brakes, which turned out to be pads, discs and calliper's, after further investigation. The garage kept me informed throughout the work, got the parts in quickly and completed all the work satisfactorily. The workshop looks well organised and clean whereas some garages clearly do not have such high standards. Will return in the future. Thank you

Motor Marque is a breath of fresh air in the motor industry. Offering great value, first rate customer service and a level of professionalism which seems all too rare these days, this company has been looking after my car for nearly five years now and has never disappointed. Most importantly, whenever they quote for more costly repairs a clear explanation is given leaving a feeling of confidence in the advice given that few other garages can match. You can even talk to their mechanics direct! A benchmark for quality service in my view and a garage I would not hesitate to recommend.

Fantastic service from Kate and the team at at Motor Marque. I recently accompanied my daughter to the garage when she took her car for a service and MOT. The whole booking process was easy and Kate responded to any emails enquires very promptly and was extremely helpful. Any remedial work required following the MOT was explained clearly and the cost was broken down. There was no "hard sell" just clear honest advice. It was a very refreshing experience compared to a lot of garages and we will definately be returning. 100% recommended, you will not be disappointed!

From the really friendly and highly efficient reception staff through to the quality valet of the car, Motor Marque provide a seriously good service. Until a couple of years ago I was a long time customer of BMW; whilst their service has always been good, it's not a patch on these guys. Mark Frankland and his team are obviously committed to make the tedious process of car maintenance/repair as hassle free and painless as possible and all at a very competitive price. First rate - highly recommend them.

Booked in for a service and MOT. Had an inclination my brakes needed replacing so chose a major service. An hour after dropping the car off Motor Marque called to say brakes were fine and there was no need to doing a major service. In their words there was plenty of meat on them and you might as well save your money. It can sometimes be a gamble choosing a garage but these guys have always been great and I’d use them over the main dealers every time. Thanks again for a great honest service!

I went here for an MOT fooled by how professional and polite they were. Turned out my clip needed a bit of work, new belt as it was worn, née alloy wheel, new brakes and alignment of wheels as well as new shocks and ABS rings. Cost me 1300 other garages have said should have been a 700 max job and I was robbed. All garages in local area say Motormarque are known to charge way over odds. Can't fault the service but unless you want to pay through the nose...go elsewhere!

Very Poor contacted them for a price to diagnose a fault with a fiesta engine. I had already been told by the AA that possible cam issue and it would need a full inspection and was given the fault codes I passed this on to motor marque who were going to charge me £75 to check ..they wanted the car for an hour so I dropped it down only to be called back 15 mins later to tell me the exact same thing the AA had said and they still wanted the £75 ..never again. .

I used Motor Marque for the first time this week and from start to finish they were very professional, provided excellent customer service and did a great job. Finding reputable garages who get a good job done proportionately is difficult but I am so glad I found Motor Marque. The staff were very friendly and professional, great communicators and did a really good job on the car in terms of MOT and remedial work required. I definitely recommend them.

Being recommended by a friend, I decided to go to Motor Marque for my Ford Mondeo’s next servicing. It was shocking to see that I have been spending too much money on servicing of my Ford for all these years. They charge very less than my dealer and the services are amazing. I actually saw my car getting serviced through the big glass window. Thanks to Motor Marque my car is now brand new, once again. I would definitely recommend the garage to all.

They are the only place I have ever taken a car and come away feeling like you were actually treated with true courtesy and respect. No upselling, no patronising and stirling customer service. Brilliant garage. Sam was the person at the front desk that we spoke to who is also one of the MOT technicians there booked the car in for a checkup. The checkup was very comprehensive and I was given a breakdown of what needed doing with absolutely no pressure of being sold to. Also the car was valeted with the checkup. Also the pricing is very reasonable and the work was to a very high standard

I love Motor Marque. The staff are brilliant, especially the girls who are the customer-facing part of the company. Even if they're ringing to tell you bad news that's going to cost you a small fortune, they're always kind and sympathetic. I trust them totally that if the mechanic says something doing, it really does need doing. Our whole family use Motor Marque, and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Con men don't use told me I needed new exhaust new rear springs had it checked elsewhere nothing wrong with exhaust and rear springs nearly new both exhaust and springs still going after 2 years makes me wonder if it needed new discs which I let them do also ridiculously expensive . Had to give one star or I couldn't post

Motor marque are great. Found them through the good garage scheme and I can't rate them highly enough. Great standard of work, reasonable prices and excellent customer service. They even fixed tiny things I didn't mention- for free, like my window buttons that had fallen through my door. Would highly recommend.

Booked in for an MOT at short notice and they were accommodating. Not only that, when I had to take my car from the garage for an unscheduled errand, it was still ready in plenty of time on the same day. Car wash and mini valet was a bonus, as was the friendly service.
