This library is great, but that older male librarian is so rude and conceited. I was sitting in the back room reading, while a young lady walked out of the toilet and then was blasted by this male librarian for using the 'staff toilet'. I thought this was very unnecessary and crude considering the toilet door was not clearly labelled staff toilet and general common toilets are not visible on the outside of the building. How was she to know. Felt sorry for her.

Mt. Coot-Tha Library is one of the best Library to be operated, not because of its size and versatility of books offered, but for the venue where it is being operated. A two-room facility, with almost all the facilities, you can expect, a library can offer and a decent collection of books; makes this a unique library operated by Brisbane City Council.

The Mt Cootha Library is a quaint library that's related to everything related to plants and astronomy. Everything about plants alone is enough to satisfy every gardener's dream. There's no machine for borrowing or returning as they have lovely and knowledgeable librarians on duty

Great library stocking mostly botanic and zoological books for kids and adults. The librarian is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the books in the library. Still has all the facilities of a regular library.

Great relaxing place, the food in the restuarant was really great. 2 pieces of battered fried fish, gravy and salad for $18.95 real good value. Will be back again.

Cosy library hidden in the administration building of Brisbane Botanical Garden. It has a fairly large collection of books about local fauna and flora.

Went for the Dahlia show and stayed for a picnic near the lake. Lovely spot, an oasis for plant and animal life.

Great place. Amazing collection if you are interested in trees and or flora.

Small library but the staff are super friendly and really really helpful.
