My family and I absolutely love this library. There is plenty of space with a huge range of books for adults and kids alike. There are plenty of computers, digital media and even comics if you prefer them. I was impressed by how quickly and easily you can check out your books via the laser scanners that will instantly scan the entire pile of books etc at once. No need to do them one by one. Another great feature of this high class library is that if you incur a late fee you have the option of bringing in some canned goods to give to be given to charity for those most in need instead of paying the fee. The librarians are very knowledgeable and so pleasant and friendly. A big difference to the librarians of my youth. There is a fantastic kids area that has a projection mat that kids can interact with and includes comfy spots for parents to enjoy watching/reading together. Kids really lovethe bath tub as a quirky place to read. Love coming here. Highly recommended.

The staff and luxury air conditioned environment are five stars each. Resources receive four stars. I'd like more resources for teaching English to your average Australian students (there are plenty of IELTS resources but aimed at older English-as-a-second-language students). This library in general is a valuable family resource for us. And it's free to borrow items.

My local library for many years and a favourite place to visit. Good selection of books, warm friendly staff and generally a quiet oasis. The only aesthetic letdown at times is the amount of rubbish in the entrance courtyard. But overall, a treasured place for me. Life is better with books and libraries.

Needed a quiet place to work due to loud workers around my home office. Thought I would find peace at a library seeing as though they are supposed to be QUIET. This was seriously like a playground with kids screaming and running all over! Absolutely horrible!!

Good environment but definitely the loudest library I've been. Parents have no control of children and staff is not intervene to keep loud customers quiet. It would be great if the concept of library can be taught to the children who visit the facility.

A good local venue - Good selection of books, however can get quite busy and noisy. If your you're looking for a place to study I would suggest the nearly Kenmore library. Operating hours/days can be of a minor inconvenience.

What a great library. Staff are very pleasant and very helpful. Particularly Carol, Im a bit techno challenged but she was very helpful and super patient, nothing was too much trouble for her. Thank you

I really enjoyed going to the Mt Ommaney library today, staff are very helpful and it is well laid out with plenty of space. More than enough computers for everyone and a large library for all ages.

Great library, nice variety of seating and well maintained. The library obviously needs to cater to different needs, so individuals should bring ear plugs or head phones if they sensitive to noise.

The staff at the library are caring, pleasant and helpful. The facilities and programs are very high standard. It is always a pleasure to come to the Mt Ommaney library.

Great place with a wide selection of books. As with most council libraries, it can get quite noisy. But, I still find it bearable for studying.

Lovely environment. There is so much here that you won't find on the internet! My interest on this visit was local history.

Wonderful and very knowledgeable staff. Great place for kids to learn and explore literature during school holidays.

Noisy babies and chatting parents should not be allowed in the library! Library is not a public playground!
