After a long wait and switching several places from tooting the temple has finally settled down in Mitcham now. This place is better than the previous ones as it is has a better vibe. The main diety is devi symbolising shaktism a branch of Hinduism where feminine is a supreme diety or ultimate reality. The temple houses several other idols as well.  My most inspiring is the ardhanadhisvara idol which is half man and half woman not an usual idol you will find in other temples. The idol symbolises male and female principles cannot be separated. The priests are well learnt and knowledgeable and follow vedic ways of offering prayers to the dieties. You get a good vibe from them chanting the vedic mantras. Prashaad is offered as usual after the pooja and what I noticed recently is that they pack the prashaad for everyone which is a nice way of waste reduction. I would highly recommend this place!!!

Anyone and everyone from any religion and community are welcome. You get peace to your mind when you pray the statues of gods and goddesses & attend the poojas.

Traditional prayers are kept well in this Muthumari Amman temple. Amman are embraced as Amman believe to be protectors of dangerous diseases. During encient periods the chicken pox disease were cured by the Muthumari Amman and none can deny it.

I go there several times, its a peace full place , the good thing is having a free car park, staffs are really helpful, please use more agarbatti i never smell agarbatti in my visits.

Beautiful temple. Priests were very kind and polite. Lots of spaces available in the car park so can go visit during the day
