Awesome spot to get a picture next to very cool art! Love the name "whatliftsyou". The wings are beautiful and the little set next to it is great for kids or pets. I'm shocked at the many low reviews due to the fact of waiting In a long line... Obviously it intrigued people enough to see it, but didnt have the patience to enjoy and understand it may take a while! Well, our group of 8 went AT NIGHT, hopped out of our cars, waited for 2 people, then each person in the group snapped a pic. We didnt wait long at all, so I'd suggest a night photo to those that dont want to wait in long lines. We picked up ice cream and went just in case there was a long line. Just find something to do to keep you busy if there is a line. No big deal! Also, if your husband is like mine and doesnt take the best photos, make sure to tell whoever takes the pic to back up and get the whole set of wings lol! Good luck to those that decide to get pics! Again these are night pics just to give you the idea it still looks totally fine! *Also We went March 24th, tons of people in town during spring break, and again only waited for a few people. Plan around and think ahead!

Such a cool mural in the middle of downtown Nashville. My GPS kept saying I was there but it took me a minute to find it... The mural is painted on a wall on the side of a parking garage. I expected there to be a huge line so it would be more obvious to spot, but I guess I happen to be there when no one else was. Once you find it though it's super cute. I went during the morning after 10a. There were already around 20 people in line waiting to take a picture. Everyone was friendly and just doing their thing then moving on. It took me about 15 min for my turn. Strangers behind me were nice to take the pic for me. Me with wings is not really my type of thing to share. I did this for a scavenger hunt. Lol. These wings have a very strong reputation in Nashville and around the country. Really cool to see but to wait an hour or more with so many other unique things this town has to offer it is a bit overrated. Fellas, let me help you get some time back because your significant other may be one of those that HAS to get this picture... head across the street and get one in 2 minutes... or you can wait in line. Overall this is cool to see but spending more than 20 minutes there feels like a poor choice of time spent in Nashville.

As my friend and I were walking, he mentioned that the line for this mural was shorter than it normally would be. So, I hopped in line and the lady in front of me (we were 5th in line) confirmed what he said. People were snapping 3 - 5 photos and it took all of 5 minutes to advance to the front of the line. I didn't realize that wings included symbols of importance to Nashville. It's a beautiful mural. Update: As I was shopping at the Tanger Outlet in Pooler, GA I noticed another mural by the artist.

This is a quick stop in a nicer area than downtown. I was there at 7am, there was no wait. When you try to find it, It is in an obscure area on the side of a building that is the entrance to a parking garage. There is street parking across the street. You do have to pay for the parking by scanning a QR code, but because I was there so early, I was able to do a quick photo without parking enforcement around.

A beautiful rendition of large angel wings seasoned with southern images such as cowboy boots, hats, and other images that give a lace pattern. Made by an artist @kelseymontagueArt The only thing missing is you in the center. This is a popular attraction for taking photos. We went on a Sunday afternoon around 4pm and there was a line of people about 20 min long. There is also a shorter mini set of wings for the younger kids.

Great photo op! ✨ Super cute wings with guitars! A must have pic for visiting Nashville! The wait time was about 25mins… on the weekend during the day around 4 PM. It wasn’t too bad of a wait! The area was clean and had a one hour free parking place not far from the spot and a parking garage too… with shops and places to grab food after your photo!

Did not visit this. I did not hate it but I do not prefer public photo opportunity locations. Dealt with this while skateboarding in love park for years. Once it's a "place" to take a photo, it's not really special anymore. Unless it is to a person on a personal level. Idk....it's cool I guess. It's just a weird thing I have. This rating is more opinion based and should not be taken as a great review of the spot.

Love this mural! A line is expected- go early in the morning or dinner time and that will probably help with that, but I have never waited more than 15mins during the popular hours. The location is ok, being next to a parking garage can create a tiny bit of congestion for cars & people.

I love to see the murals around town but the lines are pretty long to get a photo. I know I may have to take a few shots to get it right but people seem to be right there in your personal space waiting and watching so it's hard to get comfortable to me. But nice nonetheless. I see there are tours that take you around but ai doubt you would have time to get murql pics on a tour.

Great spot for pics, highly suggest having a pro photographer take your pics there like Photowalk Nashville to get better pics. The line can be really long so go in early morning or late evening for low lines and better lighting.

I see this mural all the time on women's dating profiles. What guy needs online dating when he can just hangout here wearing a shirt or hat from his hometown and wait for a group of women to comment that they are from there. The line is almost all women. My kids and I skipped the line and found some other murals instead where there was no line.

Really neat spot! I stopped by on a Sunday morning and there was nobody there, so it was nice to take a few photos without being rushed. I've seen photos of the line down the street so I was prepared to wait in line and was pleasantly surprised to see nobody there. I figured this was a must-see spot while I was in Nashville on vacation.

Great experience! They even have baby wings Totally loved this part of town and we walked to honky-tonk Nashville. Would recommend taking an Uber back to your car if you park in this area they are a few hills.

Such a beautiful spot for photography, especially at night. Be careful though, because it's right in front and on the right side of a parking garage entrance/ exit. Definitely stay in the designated area for taking pictures, which looks like a bike lane.

I rate it a 3 but my wife a 5...so 4 it is. It was great for the kids to get pics for all their social media. It was not worth our 2 mile walk to do it! ‍♂️

Love the downtown Nashville vibe. And of course, the great music . This mural depicts the free spirit of all the Nashville musicians and community being lifted up in song. The wings have music and painted into the mural. Very beautiful.

Finally got to get my picture taken. When people say to get there early in the day, believe it. It was before 9am on a Sunday when I went. No line. My husband and I were the only ones there so poses didn't have to be rushed. Must see, but go early.

It’s a fun stop. Slightly awkward to grab a photo of the entire mural because it is in the way of a parking garage/ loading dock. I am sure a more talented photographer than I would certainly do it. :) I loved the little Angel wings.
