Having lived in New Ashok Nagar for many years now, I can confidently say that this is one of the best residential areas in Delhi for people to live in. The area has undergone significant development in recent years and has its own metro station on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro, which makes it very convenient for people working in Noida, Greater Noida, and East Delhi. The availability of affordable rental accommodations in this locality is a major advantage, along with a variety of shops and departmental stores that cater to the daily needs of families. In addition, the locality is easily accessible through the blue line metro, and is very close to Noida sector 18, which is home to big shopping malls and restaurants. Popular destinations like Mayur Vihar, Akshardham, and Nizamuddin are also easily reachable. New Ashok Nagar also has two big hotels - Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn - which are adjacent to it, making it convenient for visitors to stay nearby. The area has a good mix of small and big schools, as well as hospitals. Auto-rickshaw and E-rickshaw services are readily available from the New Ashok Nagar metro station to places like Vasundhara Enclave, Dharamshila Cancer Hospital, New Ashok Nagar Police Chowki, and markets like Plaza Market or DDA Market. Moreover, the upcoming New Ashok Nagar RRTS station, which is being constructed just 100 meters away from the already operational metro station, will further enhance the connectivity and accessibility of this area. Overall, I highly recommend New Ashok Nagar as a great place to live for families and individuals who are looking for a well-connected and convenient residential locality in Delhi.

It is a small but nice metro station with all essential amenities present there. This is an elevated metro station on the blue line of Delhi Metro from where you can go towards Noida or towards Delhi. Stairs are available along with elevators. The ticketing system is through Automatic Ticket Wending Machine. Usually there is not a lot rush and you can go there comfortably with all the security checks. The platform is situated above the checking section you need to use escalators for that. Metros operate very frequently i.e. in every 5 minutes or less. But still there can be a huge crowd inside so you need to take care. First compartment is reserved for women only. Thus there is a quite good systematic approach in the Metros.

The metro station is clean and secured. Could've better if had two entry gates. The 4 stars are only for the station. Apart from the station, I would like to describe this town. Firstly, the atmosphere is so polluted, I mean just unbearable. The footpaths are garbage disposing zone for people. Roads aren't clean. No traffic rules followed. Besides, no guarantee of security. You'll find hooligans throughout the region. Drunkards roam at night. The underground water is depleting. And overall, it is not planned. 2.5 Stars The town has just two exceptions ; the EastEnd Apartments and the Metro Station. But I must say, the region has a good transport system.

  • Neeraj Singh

You have Dominos, KFC on the GF. Staffs especially the security one from CISF need customer service orientation. The sad part about this metro is that they only have entrance and exit from one side of the road. There is already a structure extended to the other side of the road, yet non operational. When I was not frequent to this station I kinda thought of exiting to other side but to my dismay it was non operational. Also if you are travelling from Dwarka to Electronic city and happen to be in the 2nd coach and exit at this station you have to cover some steps to come down through stairs, which is only one from the platform. It's tedious!

best think about this metro station is, it is near the udhayam theater. if you want to reach CMBT you cant reach in time because of huge traffic near CMBT due to bridge construction. at rhis point of time metro station will help us a lot. you will reach 15 - 20 minutes, or you can go to any other destination. they have also introduced annapp so that you can see each and every details of metro. you can plan you trip. they have also have some plans for those who travel a lot. if you have that travel card you can recharge that card with that app. so you don't need to wait in line to buy your ticket/token

  • CS Ajay Jha

It is one of busiest station of Delhi Metro on Blue Line service of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation- DMRC. This station covers huge crowd of people coming its nearby area including Vashundhra Enclave, Dallupura Village, East and Apartment and New Ashok Nagar itself. This metro station has sufficient space for transportation. One can find E- rikshaw or Auto rikshaw for getting to his/her desitination. One of the biggest problem here is that this metro station lack space for parking of vehicles of daily commuters/passenger.

  • Pratik Singh

Station is quite small as compared to other stations in blue line. Not in terms of length of platform but the area on which station is build. There's only one escalator on each side, along with elevators. There's total 4(sometimes only 3 working) out and 4 in gates to enter platform. Two atms inside the station (SBI & RBL). Domino's and Beer shop outside the station. No bus stop, for that go to noida sector 15 metro. Station is clean and staffs are helpful.

  • Anish Satish

This is a well connected station but also one of the busiest ones. Getting to and from the station is a piece of cake since there are multiple transport options. A new KFC opened up right next to the station. Along with a Domino's there are plenty of food options in case you are hungry. The area outside the metro is prone to traffic jams and hence best avoided during peak hours. Closest station if one is headed to east end or ashok Nagar.

  • Yugantar Saxena

A black spot on the world-class services of DMRC Network, New Ashok Nagar Metro Station at Delhi is perhaps the least maintained one. Frequent breakdown of baggage scanner leads to commuter's queue upto the road below. Escalator is closed abruptly every now & then, at least twice a week, specially in morning hours. One can well imagine the plight of senior citizens, heart patients and differently abled but not the station staff here.

  • iGaurav Nagar

Just like every other metro station, new ashok nagar metro station is just the same. But the locality of this area is not good. In the evening time it looks like a shady area. Although it looks safe because lot of girls live in this area. On the ground floor you will find dominos, KFC, a departmental store, and many food shacks as well. Roadside is completely filled with e-rickshaw and auto-rickshaws so commuting is not an issue.

  • Dr. Saikat Banerjee

The location of KFC store is the USP of this store. It's located just below the metro station. The ambience of this store is very good. This store is very well maintained. It's very clean and the staffs are very friendly, well mannered and quick in their service. The interior of this store is what attracted me most. The food quality and taste is great. Do visit this KFC store if you happen to visit New Ashok Nagar Metro Station.

  • mayank tewari

God damn I hate this metro station. As this is the only station which got only 1 entry and 1 exit with 5 AFC GATES which causes chaos at every time like in the evening around 7-8:30 pm and in morning after 8 Am so be aware and board before above mentioned timings for easy ride in metro , cause every metro going towards dwarka gets packed here. Metro authority should plan a new gates here for the sake of passengers.

  • Ashok Jessy

Alike other metro stations it’s abuzz and between tight city space. Station is good but once you step out it’s quite crowded and traffic seems unruly. Busy and binding but can be more better especially the surroundings. Cleaner ,organised route of traffic , proper marking of locations, better driving sense can make this much better. Could get also better for the students who study in Govt college right below.

  • Bijoy Patro

Poor crowded access to the metro station with electric rickshaws have a field day here. The lift is next to the Sulabh Sauchalya and there are pan/gutka stains at the entrance. The foul smell from the toilet complex a few steps ahead of the lift does not make it very welcome. The metro station does not have a parking either. The two ATM machines in the premises do not always have enough cash.

  • Ravinshu Mishra

It is located in New Delhi and last station of Delhi towards Noida City Center. It have only one exit gate as this moment (May 2019). And yes most important thing! ATM, there are three ATM machines, one is under station and others are down side out of station. There is Domino's and KFC restaurant as well and wine & beer shop is also there. It also have a paid big parking space.

  • Kirti Garg

Peace full station not crowed at all. And one of the best point is domino's at the entry of the station. Availability of rikshaws and auto all the time. And also there is new burger point open near the metro station. Staff is also very good. There is also a atm at the metro station. Electronic machine for token so u not need to stay in quee for very long time..

  • ankit gupta

The metro station is much like any other in the city. I wouldn't suggest going to any of the eating joints under the metro tho. The proximity to the nallah means a large variety of rodents at all times. Also the dominos outlet here is a hub for flies. There is a liquor shop under the metro as well. It sells only beer and a small selection of red/white wine.

  • garima agrawal

It's a good clean station and the best part is when you come out of it u have dominos below it and it near to metro 18 Noida from where you can take A 10 rs e-rickshaw and go for shopping. Product are cheap there in price . Uh can find every small need. Uh name it and uh have it . And Ashok Nagar also has a local market on Friday and Sunday.

  • JWALA SINGH

Very clear to say that place is divided in ssgmentwise life style and economical back ground. Good connectivity to cover complete noida and Delhi Place under transformation. Initially hard working people stayed here but now in A block you will find couple living in relationship. Economical place for living in relationship. Good for family.

  • Rajan Jha

good place for middle class family. if you are looking room for rent in cheap price than you should go to d and c block. its the border of delhi and noida. here security staff are also good. he treat well. but it have only one exit gate. so its realy different metro station. because most of the metro stations have at least 2 exit gate.

  • Vishnu Kumar

This metro station provides a good connectivity for Maharaja Agrasen college (DU) and Dharmshila hospital. E rickshaws are easily available here for both the locations and just charge ₹20/person. Apart from that the area near by has good market for daily needs and other items too. East end apartment is also near by this metro station.

  • Akshay

Rush on peak timing, New gates installed to save a lot of electricity. Presence of Dominos, beer shop, SBI and 2 other ATM. Sometimes the x-ray bag scanners do not work but it's an exception. The convenience of Auto and E-rikshaw available. Tickets for metro are taken from vending machine. Well designed to handle rush situations.

  • Animesh Gupta

Metro at this place is the only good thing while the place, sanitation, air and water quality everything is bad at this place. There is a sewage treatment plant besides and the worst thing is that it is open which makes the air quality so bad that you cannot breathe. The worst part of Delhi which takes you to Gazipur.

  • Vaibhav Mudgal

this is in calm place, but in festival time there... so much rush on the road if u come by foot then its fine, but in normal days u can use e-riksha for the local conveyance. and if you Pani Puri (Gol Gappe) lover then you can eat outside below of the metro station, First Pani Puri wala from the entry gate is awesome.

  • Shayali Thakur

Located at new Ashok nagar Delhi border connecting with blue line . Near metro you will get so many shops like Domino's, KFC is under construction. You will also get shatabdi bus booking office where you can board bus for various route. So many Auto out side metro station connecting dharmshala and janta flat route.

  • Sushant Roy

It's last metro station in Delhi if you are traveling from Delhi to Noida in blue line metro. Two disadvantage with this metro is that one side of it is booked for entry and exit so it creates mess during rush hour and there is a waste water management plan right there near metro station and it smells really worse.

  • Geet

New Ashok metro station is place where you can find beer, diary and pizzas altogether but staff needs to work on toilets. They are charging but toilets should be clean. Also, outside the station there are local battery rikshaw available to visit near by places like hotel Crowne , dharamshila hospital etc. …

  • Siddharth Subramanian

Not close to a bus stop but still plenty of connectivity options when you alight from the metro train. There are a few food outlets like Dominos pizza at the ground floor and a liquor shop as well. This station is on the Blue Line of the Delhi metro and one can catch a train towards Noida or Dawrka from here.

  • Annu Yadav

The place was nice... And connected through metro...u can easily get rickshaw here... This is on blue line .... Here only blue line is present....no confusion among metro lines...... And also a road connectivity . If u feel hungry then.. U can purchase delicious pizza down the metro station...

  • KHALID SHAIKH

  • Kapil Arora

Station is ok but more cleanliness would be appreciated. Staff is really polite specially the security. They have beggers near the ente and exit of the station authorities should do something about it as we shouldn't encourage begging also we have Dominos KFC and beer shop just below the metro station :)

  • KULDEEP SINGH

Last Metro Station of Delhi in Blue Line next metro station is noida Sector 15. most off the compies of noida and new Ashok Nagar is near to this Metro Station and you can take battery rickshaw from outside of the metro station and save your time and energy. Otherwise distance is not so far for walking.

  • SUNIL KUMAR RATHAUR

Ashok Nagar metro area are good. But probably problem comes to find out room for rent in that area. And the convene are easily available. Market are near all the areas. And the people who are interested and would like to know what are your thoughts on the best regards Ashok Nagar metro station.

  • Nirmal Sarkar

New Ashok Nagar Metro Station is the last station before the Delhi Metro crosses the Delhi border and enters UP. It falls under Blue Line. The station is clean and well maintained. You can easily get an Auto or E Rickshaw to visit any place nearby. Ola and uber services are also available here.

  • darpan shivhare

This metro station is situated in good place. The metro building having few option to get rid of hunger and thirst. This building having dominos and beer shop. Also having cheap rate Bar and one travel office. You can get chakna also in beer shop. So reach your destination happily.... cheers

  • Shubham Singh

I would like to give it just 2 star. Because this is the worst metro station I have ever seen in Delhi and here is why, it's made in a small place so infrastructure is not good. There is one stair on both platform and that use for both entrance and exit. That is hectic and create crowd.

  • Rajesh Kumar

  • vishakha chauhan

It is clean but there is a drainage besides the New Ashok Nagar metro station so it smells very bad. When you go down from the metro you will find Atm , Domino's and KFC that will be helpful in case you are starving , you will get e rickshaws towards noida, vasundhara and mayur vihar.

  • Roshan Kumar

Ticket:- Automatic Machine he. Jagah saaf suthri he. Vehicle:- Metro ke bahar kaafi Rickshaw, E-Rickshaw or Auto milte he. Food:- khane pine me street food se lekar piza shop tak he. iske alawa Beer ki shop bhi he. ATM:- ATM machine he par work nhi karti. Parking ki achi suvidha he..

  • Anupam Choudhary

Place where luxurious and local experience meet. From Crowne plaza and Holiday Inn on one side to Local market and shops for day to day essentials on the other side, New Ashok Nagar is definitely a worth palce to live. Domino's and KFC at metro station add beauty to New Ashok Nagar.

  • paridhi goel

My everyday commute place.... I love travel via metro.... There is a KFC and a dominoes at the metro station.... There is the biggest wine shop of the area nearby which makes the place a bit uncomfortable sometimes but overall if its jus travel that u r concerned about then it fine

  • Hari bhushan Yadav

normal metro station with only 2 platforms one towards dwarka sector 21 and one toward noida electronic city. This metro station is on blue metro line. #nearby *dominos *state bsnk of india * bear shop * travel agency with some booking facility. nearest hotel { holiday inn }

  • karan kashyap

This metro station does not having any staff working in ticket allocation. It's fully automated with token and card recharge machines. That's great thing. Domino's in metro premises is other good thing if you are having quick meetings. And beer shop is also available here.

  • shishir

A good place for living if you are bachelor and working near to any noida sector. Proper connectivity is available via both metro and auto. You can get variety of food and shopping options. Easily get fresh vegetables. The only one thing is to improve here is cleanliness.

  • Diwakar Joshi

Normal metro station of Blue line . You can metro for different sectors of noida and dwarka from this metro station. Bit small in area compared to other metro station. This metro is on both sides of the road. But usually the doors of one side are closed for some reasons.

  • Afzal

It's also so same like all metro station poor maintenance, Some technical problem with Metro coin machine (MCM) The passing gates not work properly. the Ashok Nagar area is nice but in Friday night huge crowd for shopping and huge traffic at metro station.

  • Amit Tyagi

One of the famous hot spot for people who are travelling via bus to Lucknow, Kanpur, allahabad, Gorakhpur or mau-Azamgarh. At the night after nine o’clock the place is crowded with passengers and bus. This place is looking like a bus stand at night.

  • Jeevanshu Dhawan

It is well connected to the Dharamshila Cancer Hospital and the surrounding apartments by autorickshaw and cycle rickshaw services. Just below the station one can find Domino's and KFC, as well as a bar at the ground level of the building.

  • Shelesh Kumar

Nice and clean. You might find few beggers at the entry stairs. Tokens are sold via Ticket Vending Machines only. Two ATMs Inside SBI and RBL respectively. Good eating options below the stations. Domino's is there as well as a beer shop.

  • Tarun Om Madan

This metro station has lot of Auto rickshaw outside, has KFC, a kind of Bakery shop, lot of street food options outside in the day, Ola and Uber also available. For Metro tickets, there is kiosk available and a man to give you the change.

  • Dio Fist

  • Ar. Manisha Khandelwal

Neat and clean metro station. Washroom available. There is no ticket counter only ticket vending machines are only available for tokens and smart card recharge. Atleast one ticket counter should be there.
