-> Vet on duty is excellent. ->However as for the ladies infront, especially Jackie, utterly rude and arrogant. I stood directly infront of Jackie and Angie while they continued typing on the PCs. After 5mins I get a "morning can I help" (no apology). ->After filling in my details on a clipboard, as I'm a new client. I only asked if I could correct the DOB on the new vet card made (filled in by Jackie) because it was written 2010 where as my dog is born in 2016. I came in with my previous vet card with all correct details and presented it to Jackie prior to filling in the clipboard. All that was needed to be said was "sure no problem sorry about that". I didnt need the arrogant "well that's what it looks like on the clipboard you filled in" response and then walk to the back by Angie, lifting your hand and say "Ag nie ag nie in the morè". -> I am a paying customer, which hence pays your wages, I would like to be treated with respect. Speaking in another language doesnt exempt you from your arrogance. This was my first and last visit to Northdene Vet. Even though I live less than 2km away, I will in future make the extended trip and drive all the way to another vet in either Chatsworth or Westville where I have previously recieved outstanding service.

Poor service, after 20 years of supporting this clinic in the area they were not interested in helping my animal for an emergency call out as I was not able to bring the pet to the clinic at the time... you would think after so much money I have spent there after all these years they would have some passion to come out for one call that I needed today.. I am shocked and disgusted that there is no regard for regular clients of this practice. It goes to show that all we are is a cash pay day and there is no passion at all to help an animal in need. My pet is screaming in pain and has bloody discharge and not one vet would assist me today.. I only live 10 mins from the clinic and it is to much effort for them to help my family pet.. I will never support them again and I will make this known to the world.

I can't begin to explain how happy and grateful I am for all that the wonderful folks here have done for my Ridgeback Troy! He was on the verge of death at just 7 months old and after already wasting time and money at another local vet, he just got worse. Brought him in here and everyone, from the front desk to Jackie and Dr Laura were absolutely fantastic. They loved him and treated him as their own and have restored his health to almost 100% in just two days. He's still on the road to recovery and they call daily to check up on him which is really special! Thank you guys so much!

Dr Roux is amazing with our pets and rescue animals. Great advice and attention to us and pets. Reason for a 4 and not a 5 our one pet came in for blood work, all was good but then we were told gave to bring in again more blood to test for feline Aids, surely that should have all been done at the same time vs a 3rd consultation and catching of the rescue cat a third time. Can the hospital at the vet look into this as I am sure we not the only ones fustrated with this.. What is the solution, I am interested to see the feedback on this.

We went there after adopting a 6 month old kitten. The adoption agency used this clinic for castration and directed us to go for a follow up visit after two weeks. The receptionist was confused and not helpful at all and the Dr was disinterested and down right rude. They don’t even bother to weight cats! The vet told me to do it myself if I wanted a weight! How can a wellness record not include something as basic as body weight? Will never take a beloved pet there again.

I found Dr Roux and Dr James and the Northdene Staff extremely helpful knowledgeable caring and friendly. Even did follow up on my dog Shiloh who Dr Roux operated on. Dr Roux punctual and kept me updated and both the Vet receptionist and Veterinarian Dr James explaned in depth how Shiloh needs to take her medication. Dr. is incredible. I've been going to snother vet for years, and my son, Jeff, had a lump on his neck, and the previous vet didn't even care to x ray cod 1 year ago. My dog was 9. He's 11 now, still suffering. The northdene vet was so passionate, and he was persistent he helped Jeff. And he treated my son with such love and care. He made me feel at ease as well. He's not after money at all. He just loves animals, and that's just amazing. Thank you, doc!

I have been patron of this excellent veterinary clinic for a number of years. Over the years they have taken excellent care and provided sound advice for my pets. I had the unfortunate experience of having lost two pets but was comforted by the due care and handling of my dearly departed pets. They handled both incidents in a dignified manner, I so appreciated those moments.

My babies always come home happy and healthy. My kitten got an abscess from another cat bite and the gentleman vet handled him with absolute care and knew exactly what he was doing. The fees are reasonable and don't leave you with an empty pocket. These vets are doing God's work looking after our precious babies.

Yesterday was such a hard day for me as I had to say good bye to my girl after 13 good years. The doctor who was there was fantastic, caring and so supportive. They always look out for the best interest in your fur babies. very friendly staff and amazing service. They don't charge an arm and a leg too. If it's minor, they won't make a big deal out of it just to get money out of you unlike some of the vets around the area.

Do not use this vet, multiple cats have escaped from the cages they were kept in as well as from the premises post-surgery, as they do not have the correct safety precautions in place. Unacceptable!
