Now I wouldn’t be leaving this review if I wasn’t so mistreated by the owner of this establishment. I am 19 years old and can barely afford to get my own car fixed. I took my car in saying it was pulling to the right and shaking at high speeds which I originally thought was a tire alignment issue. They then said my tire alignment was bang on which is fine, they then recommended that I get my brakes checked which in my opinion is a bit crazy since a faulty calliper would smell to high heaven if constantly pulling. They then recommended I get my tired balanced which I went through with only to find out it fixed neither of my problems. I concluded it was actually an issue with my steering rack since my steering wheel was having an issue with its returnability to the middle when turning right and faulty steering racks shake at higher speeds. I then asked the owner if I could maybe get a refund since working on the wheels would have not solve the issue. He then ranted at me for 5 minutes in a very unprofessional tone when I was simply respectfully asking to get half of my money back (I would’ve simply taken a polite no for an answer) but instead I was criticized and said I had no right to accuse them of not properly fixing the issue. He then said to take the car in to get the other wheels balanced which wouldn’t have solved the issue since it isn’t a wheel issue. So I essentially spent over 100 dollars to get work done I never needed. If anything it made the issue worse. The workers are professional though but the boss is not. Very disrespectful and will not let you get a word in if you are unsatisfied with the work done to your car.

I never usually write reviews, this will actually be my first, however, I needed to share how awful our experience was with this establishment. I brought my vehicle in to get an out of province inspection last week. Long story short - since their quote for repairs was outrageous and a lot of the repairs were not needed and overpriced, my husband said he would go ahead and pay for the inspection, but decided to get the needed repairs done else where, as the cost was way more than what was needed. When we went to pick up the vehicle the manager or gentleman that did the inspection was so incredibly rude and went so far as to call my husband inappropriate names that I will not repeat and said we had called them crooks, which was 100% un true, all we did was say we would pay for the inspection and then denied any further services as he thought we could get repairs done a lot cheaper somewhere else, which we did by the way and saved $1,100. I have never experienced such awful service and see someone treat my husband this terribly for doing absolutely nothing wrong. I would not recommend this place for any maintenance and repairs and will let everyone I know not to go here.

My original post got deleted after an edit for some reason. So here is a short version. They damaged my rim very badly when I brought my truck in for a flat, tried to hide it by not telling me about it at pickup, promised to pay for the repair when I brought it to their attention, then took it all back and sent me a nasty email all because I gave them an honest 1 star review. The owner wrote, “To proceed with us to repair this wheel, you will be required to write (not delete) an equal length letter (400words) of retraction (apology) against your slander statement (modify original) and post it on google to be reviewed by OK Tire Richmond Rd.” Need I say more? Other 1 star reviews are very accurate. I would AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COST unless you want to go through what I went through (and am still going through).

My car was rattling whenever I drove 100km/h and a quick Google search suggested I needed my tires balanced. After calling a few places around me, I settled on this OK Tire - the person on the phone seemed the friendliest, and their pricing was comparable, plus it was close to home. Drop off was quick and painless, they were on time, took the car for a diagnostic test drive, phoned me before any work was done, and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I felt like I was well taken care of, and wasn't subjected to the normal mind games that get played at most mechanic shops. My car works great again, and the price came in at a bit less than what was quoted on the phone! Overall, I'm very pleased with this location and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Amazing!!! On the snow dump we got today my tires (that I though were great) left me stuck multiple times. I got fed up and my husband ended up calling around for places to put new tires on our van. We ended up here. I was afraid that we would get really ripped off because of the fact it was a rushed last minute appointment. But Lionel was an amazing help!! I had tires in mind that I wanted to get, and he suggested ones that ended up saving me $300. And honestly it is night and day between my other tires. Amazing, honest and so helpful! From a frustrated Mom, thank you so much for turning my day around and being so amazingly helpful!!!

My best friend, her sister and I were visiting Calgary from Sask. when on our last day, my friends tire popped. We were stranded and randomly called this location for help. It was also my best friends birthday. Ryan Heath-Smith went absolutely above and beyond with his service and hospitality. He was so kind and helpful. He took what could have been a terrible day and made it one we can look back on and laugh. Thank you so much for helping out some girls from Saskatchewan. We will never forget you and your kindness! While driving to work a couple of weeks ago my tire hit a hole in the road where the asphalt was removed and was not marked and my tire blew. It was a Friday morning and I called to see if they could help and they didn't even hesitate to get my car in to be fixed. The customer service was amazing. They went over everything with me in detail and found replacement tires and had it fixed by the end of the day. I hopefully never have this issue again but if there are any other issues with my cars tires this is the place I will contact immediately. I highly recommend this business to anyone. Thank you so much for your help!

I haven't actually been here but really appreciate some advice I just got from Lionel regarding an issue I'm having. He convinced to me to talk to another Tire company that recently switched my car to summer tires because I came close to losing a tire on the highway and need a new rim. I have taken his advice and I don't know what will happen with the other company yet, but I really appreciate the time he took to explain what he thought may have happened and what the other company should do. Perhaps saving me $500! Hope to come to you for future needs - thanks Lionel!

Was very friendly. But who ever put my new rims on only used one hub centric ring that I supplied. I was wondering why they left 3 in my truck. Took my wheels off and found only one had the ring. You need these rings to help keep your rims centred or they can make your vehicle feel like the tires are out of balance. Other then that they were ok. Gave me a deal on the TPMS and got them all working. ( EDITED FEB. 24 2022) No wonder they gave me a deal on the TPMS. It’s been about 1 year now and 3 of the TPMS has stopped working. I think they put used TPMS in my truck.

Wow what a great place to do business with, the people there are friendly and helpful. Claudia Went way above and beyond to help me get my tires, and when I had an issue with one tire, made sure I was not running on my dummy tire while we waited for my tire to come in. I drive from east of Strathmore everyday to and from work in Calgary, and I don’t think my dummy tire would of lasted. Can’t say enough about the service I received and will be back again. Went to this shop when Ryan was there. Loved what they did then. Not so much now. Took my vehicle in. We said air conditioner not working. Picked it up. They told me it was fixed, but I should take it and pressure wash my rad. Was not fixed. Everything was the same. Paid over $300 for nothing. Called them back and she said, you never said what was wrong. Read, air conditioner not working, maybe you should check if it is more than a charge? Don't bother. There are better places to take your vehicle

Lionel and his crew were great, a totally seamless transaction. In contrast, I had an alignment done at the OK tire just down the road on 17th a week before and had an awful experience there (staff saying they wanted to kill other staff, they gave me the wrong bill, waited over an hour for them to sort out my bill and refund...), whereas Lionel at the OK tire on Richmond had coffee for us and his staff were happy and got along great. Thanks for the quality experience, I'll be back again for sure.

One of my tires blew up while driving on Highway 1. I was on my way to a quick get away to BC, and needed a new tire within the hour in order to get back on the road. Even though it was on short notice, Claudia and Ryan and their staff helped me right away, got me a new tire, and replaced the old one within one hour. Ryan even drove to their warehouse to grab me a new tire as they did not have the model i needed at their location. I strongly recommend this shop and I know I will be going back.

Price on the website was cheaper than the price in store. We stated our disappointment and the guy was rude, argued with us about policy, and berated us stating,"that's how the world works." Well buddy, we needed over $2k in maintenance done, and found the same tires cheaper at Canadian Tire, and that's including the $40 "freight charge" you charged us to get the vehicle back. Thanks for the education on how the world works! Maybe focus on building the business.. Claudia was wonderful though.

Went in for a tire balancing as my car had been vibrating while traveling at highway speeds. They quickly balanced all four, and told me that the lug nuts I had put on ( recommended by a popular tire shop in town which I won't ever be going back to) were the wrong ones and were ruining the threads. Luckily i had the stock lug nuts in the trunk which they put on free of charge and without me having to ask. Really impressed. Will definitely be taking my car here from now on. Highly recommended.

I left a tire and rim and tire sensor with them for repair which got stolen after a break in to their store. After a fair bit of hassle they replaced the rim but refused to replace the electronic tire sensor for it ($80). They told me they'd give me half off a new sensor if I bought a new set of tires from them!? I get that stuff happens but it's certainly a reasonable expectation that a business would completely replace property when stolen while in their care. I won't go back here.

These guys recently helped me diagnose and fix a gas-line sensor that was broken, but because the sensor was busted it was sending a wrong message that the gas cap needed replacement. They did a thorough job testing, diagnosing and showing me why it took so long, but I now feel guilty about all the work they did for nothing just figuring it out because they hardly charged me anything for all that extra work they did. These guys are really straight shooters! And they know their stuff.

Without a doubt one of the least patient least understanding and overall most unfriendly tire shops I have ever visited. the OK tire on 17th Avenue is far superior. Fat slovenly 'Dean' at the front had the worst attitude and tone when i started inquiring about anything. Save yourself the pain, its a very small shop. Only 1 technician for however many bays they have. The Sub-Humans who own and operate this location deserve to have a dual tire blowout at highway speeds.

I've been going to the OK Tire on Richmond Road for more than 20 years now... Mick and his team have never steered me wrong. Whether it be an oil change, tires or some crazy noise in my engine, they've always made sure my cars over the years were well maintained and safe. Came in yesterday with a flat, unfortunately didn’t have my key for my lug nut, the team let me leave my car there overnight. When I returned the following day they were more than helpful with giving me options and thinking of ways to help me out. Following up the lug nut key was found and they took my car in almost immediately and swapped out the flat on the house. Lovely service by the whole team, I will definitely be returning sometime soon!

This was the best experience that I have ever had getting my vehicle fixed. I have taken my vehicle to 3 different shops to get the air conditioning fixed. It was never fixed properly. I came here to this location when a friend recommended it. It was fixed and I was on my way in a few hours. They explained what they had done. I now have air conditioning in my SUV. I would recommend this location 100 times over. You will not be sorry.

I called Dean and asked if it was possible to swap a set of tires for me. He informed me that it's tire season, incredibly busy, but if I left the vehicle with him he would complete the swap. He didn't create false expectations and gave me a window to work within. One days notice and made it work. The vehicle was ready before the end of the day. I was happy! Thanks Dean and the OK Tire staff :)

I've had to go see these guys twice now because of screws in my tires. They've been awesome. Both times they got me in right away. Gave me coffee while I waited and had the utmost respect for me and my vehicle. I was in and out within one hour both times. Thanks so much to this shop for helping me out in my time of need. I'd recommend them anytime to anyone who needs a tire fix.

I desperately needed one of my tires patched and after spending two days calling countless places I called this location and Claudette (sp?) found a way to get me in and have it repaired in just a couple of hours! Honestly so very very impressed with the service and just a great experience! Thank you so much!!

****GARBAGE**** 6 months, and 20k kms later, I'm getting new tires again, because their Blackawk branded tires are bald... And the installer stripped the threads in the hubs too. So off to the dealer to buy new hubs. This is from highway driving our SUV, not from anything weird, I'm not kid with a sports car.

This is a my neighbourhood tire shop. I’ve visited about 4-5 time over the last 10 years for emergency tire repair and they’re NEVER willing to help unless you want to buy a full set of replacement tires. Go to Fountain Tire instead, they’ll at least attempt to fit you in.

Overall good business to work with front desk lady was an absolute pleasure and went out of her way to find the right tires that I needed unfortunately had an incident and scratched one of my rims they did fix the issue by cutting me a check to cover the costs

Great shop & awesome service! Dean at the front was very friendly and helped me with everything. He answered all of my questions and even propped the door open when I said it was hot in there. Very cost effective and timely. I definitely recommend this shop!

Highly recommend the Richmond Road location - excellent, kind, and fast service! They got me booked in next day for a tire valve stem repair, did it in 10 minutes while I was there, and only charged half of what they quoted me since it was such a quick fix!

The manager (older white guy with greyish hair) was an absolute jerk to his employees, even in front of a customer. I’d hate to see what he is like behind closed doors. The mechanic himself was quite helpful and knowledgeable though.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences over many years. Dean has been extremely lovely and accommodating to whenever Ive needed to get my car in. They always do great work and explain everything in detail. Highly highly recommend!

This shop caught an oil filter that the last shop used, that was the wrong one. That almost cost me my engine. The experience was great here, the shop manager George got me in asap and took care of me.

I called about a slow leak on a tire, they got me an appointment within the hour. The woman at the front desk was delightful to deal with. The leak was repaired quickly and cost less than $50.00
