We visited Oban Cycles after looking around for two new bikes for myself and my wife and couldn't have been happier. John the owner was very helpful and advised us about the right size bike for my wife, he didnt have anything my wife liked in stock but showed us a bike in a catalogue which was what we were looking for, he ordered two different sized bikes so we could see what was the best fit for her. We bought the right sized one for her. After riding it she wasnt happy with the handle bars so we looked for some Holland type Dutch comfort handlebars which he fitted for no charge. We will definitely return to his shop again and highly recommend him and his shop as nothing was too much trouble.

AVOID this bike shop. the guy that works there is a bit strange. went there few weeks back for a new inner tube he quoted me £15, today he's quoted me £5 for the same inner tube.. they are known for being rude and pricy and i can tell you now both are true.. the guy working there has a very strange attitude problem and he seems to be making his own prices up as and wen he feels like.. had quite a few ppl tell me the same about him, today i found out for myself..

BEWARE! Experts in taking money off you. Will give you sound and friendly advice and tot up all the bits for a service and replacement parts. However, when you take your bike back with the same problem, he'll tell you it's something else, (that could have fixed the whole thing in the first place), and then give you a special price for that! My advice, just go to Halfords. At least you have a complaints process if you ever needed it.

I was in need of a presta pump so popped in their and yes they had one for sale in a clear bag no labels but on the pump it said bike mate so i bought it £15 seemed ok but the pump i had just bought was actually from aldi price a £6.99 also bought 2 innertubes for my hybrid, innertubes not to bad but really upset with how they can buy stuff from another shop and sell it for more than what its worth

I was in need of a new headset and after waiting almost two weeks and having payed £40 these are the results... As I was in a rush I didn't have time to argue with the staff and explain the headset should be flush etc. Although the staff were friendly this is terrible service and its lacking care for customers expensive bikes. I wouldn't recommend this business and I wont be visiting again.

Took my non-electric bike to get tire pumped up and the lad continually asking me if my bike was electric or if the kit had been taken off. If so what has this got to do with him ? Even though I've told him it's nothing to do with him and this bike has never been electric. I've never had any problems until this selfish man decides to give alot of grief over a bike!!!

I always go here for anything bikey. I no nothing about bikes apart from riding them, the fella who works there is a pleasure to meet and deal with, I could get what I need a bit cheaper online but I'd sooner pay the extra amount.. Very quick and always happy to answer any questions you may have. A*******

Great place to get a bike repaired. Had a punctured tire and needed new brake blocks fitted. My bike was ready to collect in less than an hour. Rides smoothly and the service and parts were really cheap! Will definitely go again. Don't think I could get a better price anywhere else.

Found me a reasonably priced replacement rear wheel which was a good match for my damaged one. Fitted cassette and disc brake from my old wheel and had it ready in under 30 minutes. Great service from knowledgeable and friendly staff member. Thank you. …

Would highly recommend this family run business. Such friendly and knowledgeable staff, great service and even took time to ensure 9 yr old understood how gears work so he could get best enjoyment out of bike. We'll definitely be returning. Thanks

I've been into the County Road Oban Cycle shop today and met thee most helpful and friendly guy named John. Can't recommend him and this shop enough. Sorted out new inner tubes, recommended great locks and lights which I bought. Very helpful

They did a service on my back-up bike. It is like new and the staff are knowledgeable and really friendly. Been going there for a few years now and will always go back. A local bike repairers you can trust.

Excellent service. Very friendly owner. Trued my back wheel without adding to the cost of replacing the brakes and inner tube. Definitely the place to go in Liverpool if you have a bike problem.

Really nice guy. Rang for a puncture resistant tyre. He had to order one and was in shop 3 hours later. He then fitted it in about 5 mins I’ve finally found my bike shop.

Great guys. Reasonable prices and if any problems they fix it straight away. Bought my last 3 bikes from them and will probably buy my next 3 from them as well.

Needed a service on my mountain bike which had spent a few years in the shed, no problems bike as good as new, great price, good value..

Passed by to see it I could use the pump. Says buy one or pay a pound. Very overpriced and seems to make them up as he goes along.

Really unhappy the way my bike came out it came out in worse state than I brought it in evrythink was lose and not properly set up

Who needs Halfords these guys didn’t need you to book in just took bike to them and they repaired the inner tube inside of 5 min
