Not what i expected. I have a mtn bike that I’m in the process of restoring so therefore the gears aren’t working. I bought £150 worth of parts to replace the wheel, chain and sprocket. I insisted on buying the drivechain when buying all this but I was told it would be better if i bought it after I mounted everything else. So i came back the next business day (once i had installed everything i bought) and was told they cant sell me the drivechain because the cable for my gears was dodgey. Long story short, they do not sell bike parts. They are only mechanics and although i told them i will install the parts myself, they refused to sell me the parts i needed to fix my bike. Which is bizarre taking into account that they have already sold me most of the groupset and all i needed was the drivechain. This is a great shame as the staff seemed very friendly, i think they just wanted to fix my bike themselves to make some more money. Anyway, ive ruled out this shop for my bike necessities as i dont need a mechanic. Im not going to pay for work that i can do myself.

Not impressed here's why: Needed a simple freewheel removal tool for a 16t bmx rear wheel, or a service to get it removed. Fiver on ebay for the tool. Came in the shop to be told 'no we dont have them and cant (even) remove the freewheel for you'... When I asked why dont you have such a simple thing as a freewheel spanner, I was told "bmxes are dead now, there's no call for it'....Call for what? Its a dicta freewheel, on a million bikes not just bmx. The assistant was more than happy to show me irrelevant modern tech as an 'excuse', as if the only cycling that matters is 4 grand carbon fibre road bikes a few weeks old. Still to find an old-school bike guy in Liverpool to take care of my bikes - and I've got loads, shame really.

Bought a bike from these guys in June. They kindly price matched another shop that was further away and didnt seem intersted in my custom, with the bike being ready to collect within a week of it being ordered in for me. Following that, I've just recently taken the bike back for its 12-week checkup with a list of a few issues that had cropped up. Nothing seems to be too much for them, and the bike was back to new within a few days. A group of friendly people who are there to assist with whatever it may be. Could not be happier with the overall service received from Quinns, and I won't hesitate to bring my bike back whenever I need their expertise!

After having MTB damaged and my back wheel stolen I was under some time pressure to have what was fairly extensive work done to get my bike back trail ready for an upcoming trip. I can’t speak more highly of the team at Quinns- they were lovely, helpful, efficient, knowledgable, communicative & just excellent at what they do. They advised regarding works needed & explained everything thoroughly. Over & above that, they also took the time to chat through some theft deterrent tactics & products. Ready to collect in a few short days & my bike is riding so smoothly. I’ll be a new regular at Quinns for all services & bike needs.

I had a major flaw with the cable configuration on my second hand carbon frame. I took it in, the mechanic took a look and managed to come up with a bespoke solution my modifying a spare part, it looks really smart and shifts better than it ever has before. While this was being done the cables had to be replaced. Without me evening mentioning it he also noticed some of the sleeving was too long and fixed all of the lengths. All of this for only £20, and they were so quick I had barely sat down back at home with a sandwich when they rang to tell me I could collect it. Really great shop!

Came in with a very specific request to just remove a very stubborn freewheel as I didn't have the bigger tools to deal with. Was sorted within 60 seconds and initially wasn't going to charge anything! They also noted a wonky rear axle which I'm glad they pointed out (in middle of bike restoration). Sorted me out with a new rear axle and the bike runs better than I've ever known it too in all the years I've owned it. Would 100% choose this store over another bright orange nationwide known brand who were absolutely useles in assisting prior to Quinn's! SHOP LOCAL :)

Really great place. Walked in with my outrageous muddy, rusty 60£ commute bike, with a flat tyre, but the staff welcomed me on the door with a smile and courtesy. Really professional if you consider that this place is more a high level pro bike service with very skilled staff, and the tag price of the bike that they usually sell and service. Very fast and efficient in repairs, clear communication, honest in fault diagnosis and prices. Pleased to have found a place like that. Thank you.

This place is quite unique, when you walk in the welcome is there in your face with out being pushy, everybody is helpful and knowledgeable, I couldn't believe how much time the staff are prepared to spend with you, it doesn't matter if its a recovery drink or a £3000 bike the information that they give you is honest and gained from experience. With regards to bike servicing or repairs its second to none, from booking your bike in to collection 10/10 Well done the staff at Quinns Fred

Really Quinn’s could charge me any price. I was willing to pay for the gold service. Macca said I might not need the gold. Result! He took the bike off me. First off it’s hard to get a bike service post Covid. Went back to pick up my electric cube. Guy read out a long list of parts and service. The price I paid was cheaper then the silver service in Halfords. I’d checked. Gotta say. Honest company. Absolutely perfect bike. Even said to come back if any problems or questions.

Was sent from Halfords to Quinn’s because they couldn’t help with my bike issue today, wasn’t aware Quinn’s is shut on Wednesday’s when I got there. Instead of sending me away, the staff accepting the delivery in the morning took me in and fixed the problem despite being shut. Very very generous and helpful, made my day!! Will be returning and recommending this bike shop to everyone. Thanks again!

Dealing with this store is a treasure. The staff are kind and cooperate with the customer with all respect. Do not hesitate in your choice in dealing with them. Amazing shop! Staff really know their stuff and wont sell you products just to increase the total, fair advice everytime. Got mine and my partners bikes here recently and they were just great, helpful and patient staff walked us through the process with bikes and accessories, been here many times over the years and has always been a good bike shop. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely fantastic. I took my bike on to be fixed on the Saturday and was told it would be ready on Tuesday. Which was 2 weeks quicker than the place up the road could do it. So I was made up. I was even happier when I got a call a few hours later on the same day telling me the problem wasn't as bad as they thought and they sorted it already. Absolutely fantastic service!

Went to a number of shops went to quinns they had plenty of stock showed me a few bikes different ranges I told him what it was for he found me the right bike for me his name was Mark he really looked after us and helped me I wouldn't go anywhere else now the staff were helpful thanks Mark I got the trek merlin 7 super bike

Waited a few months to get my bikes fixed during this summer (2020), rather than going to the nearest bike chain (dubious reputation). Glad I did, Quinn have done a fantastic job on both bikes with the government voucher scheme, and made both road worthy. Would recommend to everyone over any other bike shop in Liverpool.

I've always been impressed with the lads at Quinn Cycles. No question, however mundane, goes unanswered and they are extremely knowledgeable about all things to do with cycles. I also ask them to service my bike and know that when I get it back its right and its like I'm riding a new bike again. Highly recommended.

Visiting Liverpool for Corporate Games and Di2 develops an intermitent fault. Quinns did a same day investigation found it was a battery fault and only charged for the part. An above and beyond service. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and I highly recommend them based on my experience.

I bought a Scott mountain bike which is brilliant but the chain developed a problem took it into Quinn's today the fault was fixed whilst I waited in the store .They're service is superb I cannot praise them enough .Once again thank you and Merry Christmas to all at Quinn's. Steve Williams

Incredible customer service! I have been there twice now with the most weird questions and everybody from the staff has always been beyond helpful and patient. They have a huge range of stock, from electric bikes, to regular bikes or any kind, plus all the bike equipment you can think of.

Just been and had inner tube replaced by theses guys. They charge a tenner. 10 minutes down the road another flat tyre, they hadn't removed the piece of glass that was stuck in the tyre. Went to guy 10 minutes away on Holt Road who does it for a fiver and does it properly. AVOID QUINNS!

Excellent!!! Fantastic customer service, first class. Have visisted three times now in run up to collecting my new bike to purchase all the necessary accessories. Have been dealing with a gentleman called Mark who is extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the shop and staff.

Booked my bike in for a 2* service but after Quinn's inspected the bike they felt it only needed a 1* and replaced my gear cable. Impressed with the work. The bike's come back performing great and like new. Equally impressed with Quinn's honesty and customer service throughout.

My usual bike shop couldn't find me a bike between Brexit and the Pandemic, so I went to Quinns. The service was exceptional and I couldn't have been happier. The staff couldn't have been more warm and welcoming and my bike came within the time given to me. Would recommend!

Good display of bicycles, but no tricycles - the assistant said they buy them in to order. I think that will be my next option, as at 73, my balance is not that good. My granddaughter enjoyed looking round the shop and discussing her needs with a knowledgeable staff member.

Took my bike in to have my carbon steerer tube cut, they did it quick and clean. Good social distancing measures have allowed them to keep the workshop open where other bike shops have not which is a great service to the community.

Brought my bike in for a service they have sent me home with out trueing my back wheel and my disc rotors are still scraping. They done a good job on new cables. But they just ignored the rest of the bike

Took my MTB in to have the gears checked out and they ended up worse than before I'd been in.bad but not halfords bad.
