I love the retro and intimate feel of the cinema. Even the slightly musty smell of the ageing outfit is quite pleasant. The waiting room and the cinema itself are also always spotless. It's never crowded so you can roll in anytime and still get a good seat. Tickets are cheaper than the bigger chains and the manager is always lovely.

Ambience of an old and classic movie theater, good candy bar, amazing show room, cheaper prices and a decent screen. The seats were a little uncomfortable from time to time but it was no big deal. Recommended over comercial chains any day.

Old school movies. No booking a seat, just turn up and choose where you want to be. Far less expensive than the alternatives. Once you're involved in a movie, arm deep in popcorn, you probably won't care that the seat isn't quite as comfy.

Took grandkids to this cinema, absolutely wonderful place and seating is luxurious and they also provided "high seats" for the kids which allowed them to readily watch the movie.

Old school independent cinema. One of the landmarks of Hornsby. They have a candy bar and also serve machine coffee. I have always enjoyed going here (6+ years now).

They now have Dolby 7.1. Wow! It's a great local 1 screen cinema way cheaper than the larger venues. We usually go in the middle of a week day when it's quiet.
