Do not visit the Almeda location. They are poorly trained and disrespectful. My mom and I went to have lunch at 4 pm on Wednesday. The hostess did not know how to seat us, so we had to wait for another one to come back. Once sat and order drinks and food. The drinks and salad came out. A bit later, the server asked if we needed anything else, I asked for a refill of tea (I never got one). The food came out, and mine was fine. Mom's was a completely different dish. She told her it was incorrect and repeated her order the server come out about 5 minutes later and asked what the dish was again. I started to eat, slowly thinking mom's dish would be out soon. Nope, the 3 tables that were seated after us had food, I had almost finished mine. Mom went to find our server, she had never came back, to get the check for my meal. The manager (maybe assistance mng) never once apologized for the poor experience, and was rude when mom stopped to look at the bill to ensure she was not charged for the meal she never got. I will not be returning to this location. At this point I don't think Olive Garden ever needs my business again. This was extremely unprofessional.

I really enjoyed my night here as I was treating a few friends who haven't eaten here. My waitress, Felicity, was very attentive and polite. She was beyond knowledge of the food options available. They have gluten-free pastas as well as vegetarian and vegan options on there menu. There was only a five minute wait for such a busy Friday night. The parking is plentiful and it's very kid-friendly. Customer service is everything to me so I was elated when the manager, Robin, stopped at each of the tables to see if their service was up to par. My company was beyond satisfied and we'll definitely be returning.

This location was the worst. We went to dinner at 8:30 pm on sunday, ordered, then all of a sudden someone started vacuuming all around us. We thought it was temporary but they kept going where we were literally having to yell at each other to have a conversation. My husband had to ask them to stop after a while cause it was too much. Then he went to the restroom as we were leaving at 930 and the restroom was gross. Trash cans overflowing and needing a little attention. That probably could have used the cleaning rather than a vacuum in the main dining area where 3 tables were still sitting, enjoying dinner. There was a game charge on the tablet on the table and the waitress said it's automatic when you touch that tablet. Seems like a total scam for $3 extra bucks. I only touched the thing to look at appetizers, not pay games. She did remove the fee but I can only imagine how many people are charged this without knowing.

Placed an order one evening for picked up following day. Catering business lunch for 6. Order selection online was without issue. Pickup process by parking in slot, texting arrival was smooth and timely. Attendant was friendly. Chicken Alfredo- packaged well and plentiful. Nothing exceptional, nothing bad. Salad- Large bowl and plentiful. Complete with solid lettuce core “butt”…bonus! Quite a few notably old pieces of lettuce. Definitely food quality control issues in the kitchen. Breadsticks- Either previous day offerings or left out to the point of notable toughness in texture. Although not previously stated in any of my reviews, I am a Texas certified Food Safety Manager. There are subtle issues of concern (salad being one) that caught my eye. Location may be due for a couple of back to back unannounced health inspections to tighten things up. Might know a guy that can provide some help to the location.

I've been coming here for a while and have never reviewed this location. You might wonder why 3 stars and I still come back. I had a bad experience this visit. I had to wait 30 minutes before a waiter/waitress came by to take our drink order. This was after they came by to check on the table 3feet and 1 Foot away from us. We even made eye contact with several of the staff. This was frustrating bc the table in front of us had a birthday and they hung out in that area for a while. We finally decided to go talk to the staff whom sent the Manager to talk to us. They offered us a free appetizer but at that point we just wanted our food, since they had taken our order maybe 1 minute before the manager walked up. Ordered the all you can eat pasta bowl..... this the plate they brought.... seemed like a child portion. Oh well.... Skeptical about returning to this location.

My waitress was excellent. Food quality and manager were well below expectations. This was my first time at this location. I’ve eaten at Olive Garden restaurants all over the city and surrounding areas for decades. Lasagna is my favorite. My daughter and I ordered lasagna. Hers came out ok. Mine was burnt on top. Cheese was dark brown. Waitress took it back and brought out a second one that had no meat between the layers and was very thin compared to my daughter’s serving. I asked for the manager and showed him. He started talking loud and made excuses saying the meat could have oozed out of the sides while cooking. He added another $17.99 on my tab and sent out a third serving in a to go container. Cheese was not even melted and still no meat inside. When I went to pay on the machine on the table is when I noticed the additional charge. Called waitress who said manager had her add it. Thankfully I looked at the total because I usually just swipe my card. Horrible experience.

Gotta admit , I get the same thing every time , but I've tried the other dishes as well. The chicken Alfredo is by far my favorite. Ok , I've been going to this location off and on for over 20 years. The food has always been excellent. The ONE time my dinner was not of the usual quality , they quickly fixed it. (There was only 3 pieces of chicken , when it's usually like 10 or more. The wait staff has always been attentive to your needs. On my latest visit , I felt like I was the Royal treatment... My tea glass was replaced immediately after setting it down 3/4 empty. I thought he was gonna pull my chair out for me too... The dining area is always clean , as well as the restrooms. If you look around , you'll see people constantly cleaning things . All in all , this place will always be on my Top 10 favourite places to eat in the Houston area.

Horrible service. Great food. Once our soup and salad came to our table we realized there were no utensils. After about 10 min of our waitress leaving to go get our bread, and never returning I asked another waitress if she could please provide us with utensils so we could enjoy our salad. She completely ignored me kept giving me bad looks. Finally, after about another 10 minutes our waitress comes back (with out our bread) I asked for the utensils. We get the utensils and our bread and she goes to refill our drinks… our food comes out and I asked her if she could bring us another bread to enjoy with our meal. We finished our entire meals, no bread she didn’t even come back until I pressed the call waiter button as we paid I asked for to go boxes and nothing. It’s too bad such a great restaurant has such poor service.

This place was great. I've been enjoying Olive Garden since I was a child. But I really enjoyed this location. The service was 5 stars, servers were more than happy to tend to our 10 person party. We didn't have to wait for anything. The food was good. The Alfredo sauce has improved majorly. The picture is the Chicken Margherita on the right, it was excellent suculleny and flavorful, even the brocolli was fantastic. and Chicken Parmesan on the left. Both plates were about $20/each. They let us take home our extra salad and breadsticks. Would definitely come here again. The atmosphere was warm and inviting.

The food was very good. The atmosphere and music were good. The waitress was new and made horrible mistakes. After taking are order she never brought they breadsticks or salad to the table she rarely came by. We had to ask for our breadsticks our salad or soup refills on drinks. Waitress actually brought the soup and salad after the main course. Because I've been to the restaurant before and know the normal standards of the wait staff I will still recommend the restaurant overall I am not going to hold the restaurant responsible for the actions of a new waitress. Hopefully any waitress in time will learn the qualities of the staff I normally experience.

So here's the story... we had a great experience - we brought a whole family there and all got good food and all enjoyed what we chose and our server was just about perfect... BUT we are sitting there and on three different occasions heard arguing and fighting between other servers (not our own server) and how someone had stolen the table or something like that it was pretty unprofessional and it just kept going on. Wouldn't have said anything about it except it kind of just kept going on and there was some yelling and it wasn't from the back or some hidden area it was right there in front of us.

It was a combination of things that affected our dinner. What it seemed like a new server with many big tables, the restaurant was cold, a baby crying in the table next to us, no bread and the bar drinks arrived after appetizers, other drinks like coffee, water, tea and soda until after estrés were served by a nervous server. All this definitely affected the atmosphere, and at the end, the enjoyment of the food. It was not mainly the servers' responsibility, but who left him with that huge load of work when he was not ready yet, I suffered with him through the process.

Love the food. Had bad experience here at this restaurant. First food took long to get here they didn't have certain drinks at the bar. My waiter was a new waiter wasent much that she was new but the fact that she was left alone to service the tables by her self and didn't quite knew the menu she had to go back and fort to the server station to asked another server. And the small of stinky feet from the cheese was horrible other olive gardens dont have that bad of smell of cheese like this one did.

Portions seem smaller and prices are a little higher but I am seeing that accross the board. Still a good value for a nice lunch and we had excellent service. Clean comfortable atmosphere. Well worth it I love the Tiramasu.

We visited this place during our visit to Houston. This restaurant is conveniently located off the I-45 along gulf freeway. This time we tried eggplant parmigiana with breadsticks and minestrone soup. All the dishes were great. Also ordered cheese pizza, that was good too.
