Terrible experience at the Omni this past weekend. We had called in advance to get a guaranteed early check in. After waiting in line to check in for over 35 minutes we were told that the early check in wasn’t actually added to our reservation and our room wasn’t ready. She said they would start cleaning our room and they would text us when it was ready. We never received that text. A little after 5:00 (regular check in time is 4:00), my husband found our keys were ready. Thankfully he was going to check every few minutes. Keep in mind the event we were there for had already started at this point. We finally got to our room only to discover that it is in very bad condition. We paid over $600 for one night in the room and it was disgusting. Also, the upgraded park balcony room is not an upgrade. You could hear every bit of street noise in the room on the 8th floor. I understand there was a big event going on, but that’s what this property specializes in so you would think they would handle it better. Our friends with us arrived about 20 minutes after us and had to wait in line to check in for over an hour. You couldn’t get food on the property either before or after the event without waiting in line for over an hour. After the event all the doors were locked except the ones coming through the valet area which made the walk back from the stadium about 4 times longer than we expected. Harassed by homeless if you stepped out the front door of the hotel. Difficult to get in and out of. Just overall a terrible experience, and not at all the upgraded experience we paid for. The only great service we received was from the valets. They were great and handled the high volume of traffic very well. They are the reason this review isn’t a 1 star.

Pros: great location if you’re wanting to be close to the aquarium, Coca Cola factory, and college hall of fame stadium. Also a good valet/Uber pick up area created so you’re covered while waiting in case it’s cold. South tower is renovated so the rooms don’t feel so old. Cons: terrible service by check in staff, especially Taj and his female associate. And the north tower room was so old. Since there’s no guarantee of which tower you’ll be in, you’re taking a risk. The south tower is nicely renovated but still not extremely nice. Sucks to have paid the same price that someone at the south tower paid. Our room felt so old. Also, I think the embassy suites hotel location might be better in terms of location and they have a Starbucks downstairs which is nice. Not sure how their rooms look though, but the lobby was pretty and bright.

For all those weary travelers tired of overpriced accommodations, I highly recommend giving HoteIDuIIy.cᴏm a shot. Their price comparison tool is a game-changer, and this spectacular room rate is just one example. I was not sure what to expect since this was my first trip to Atlanta. I travel quite a bit for work and have stayed in many hotels. The service here is amazing! Everyone on the team made me feel special and important. They went out of their way to help me and provide me with the best service possible. Even the housekeeping staff was excellent. They always said good morning and made sure I had whatever I needed. I would highly recommend this hotel and sent an email to the manager praising the excellent team members they have. Everyone was so helpful.

Sadly far from the standard of other Omni Properties. Poor check in experience. Food outlets inadequate for a hotel of this size and quality. No retail facilities. Room servicing pretty much non existent had to be requested on 2 days. Poor when provided. Yes its convenient as attached to Conference centre but lack of standards and facilities would not make this venue a choice for any other reason.

We did an event at their ballroom for 400+ people, ate at 2 of their restaurants and stayed overnight. The experience could not have been better. The hotel was clean and the room was great. The staff is amazing, very helpful and kind. Kudos to the event staff, Nagey Wright and all the catering and events team, for making our event planning and execution so seamless. Congratulations to General Manager Ramon Reyes for running such a fantastic operation and leading a great team!

This hotel is one of my favorite hotels, because is right off Centennial Olympic Park, it's attached to CNN, and in this case it was attached to the conference center that I was attending. The room and lobby were clean and consistent. The staff were helpful and considerate. One day, my room wasn't clean until after 4:00 p.m., which it was not a big deal because I did not get back to my room until later.

Great location for conference center or stadium. Otherwise, the location is so-so. Older and dated building but well maintained and clean. Rooms are big. Bars and restaurants on site are also good. Service is also good. It does get crowded for big events, but they manage it well. Drawback is that it is very pricey, and they put a large damage deposit on your card when you check in.

The location, next to the convention center worked out good. The TV remote was missing. I called twice on day 1, but did not receive it. I called again on the 2nd morning. Nothing happened. I left a note for the housekeeping staff, who then arranged for one. Housekeeping was excellent. Front desk staff were wonderful.

Typical Omni set up. Staff was helpful and very nice. Room was tired, old style tub shower with a drain that did not work so well. Great water pressure, but could not adjust actual shower pressure and was uncomfortable. Safe did not work. Bed was comfortable. Cafe area seemingly always open...

The locations was awesome. The room was decent but definitely has seen better days. The door locks were crooked and you could tell have been round the block a bit. Room service on the first day, thankfully the front desk ended up taking the order, day 2 I actually got a hold of someone. The food was good on both times. More

This is now my favorite Atlanta hotel. It's downtown yet away from the traffic and cluster of hotels on and around Peachtree Street. The surroundings were so quiet that I could sleep with my balcony door open. The staff was great and our room was spotless. Highly recommended

Not a great experience staying here. The rooms are oddly shaped and mine was visibly dusty and dirty. Rooms insulation was very poor, it sounded like the window was open even though it was not and the nearby street is very loud. Perhaps interior rooms are quieter. More

The lobby is beautiful and the staff are friendly. However, the hotel itself is old, beds are uncomfortable, and pillows are flat. There is no free wifi unless you are a Select member. There are cute little balconies overlooking the Atrium

I recently stayed at the Omni Atlanta Hotel for a glass expo and honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Right from the start, the vibe of the hotel was just spot-on – it felt luxurious yet super welcoming.
