I typically don’t leave reviews, but I had to for these guys. The work that they do is amazing. For my birthday my husband had bought me the dresser of my dreams. The dresser is huge, not only was it long and tall, but it weighs about 440 lbs. The company that we purchased it from used white glove delivery, and assured us that they could get it upstairs to our bedroom. Our stairs and narrow and have a weird turn, so I wasn’t sure if it was possible. When the white glove delivery people showed up they told us that they wouldn’t be able to get it upstairs, and suggested we exchange it for something smaller. I was dead set on keeping this dresser, so we just had them leaving it in the living room. We called a ton of different delivery companies. Most of them didn’t offer the type of service that we needed or were booked out for the month. We even considered having a wood worker take it apart, so that it could be moved. One of the delivery companies suggested that we check Craigslist, which was when we discovered Pack My Truck. I spoke with Maria from PMT on the phone, who was very sweet, and she told me that they could move the dresser that day. I was elated but still skeptical that getting the damn thing upstairs was even possible. When the PMT team came to our house they were very nice and professional. They assessed the situation and determined that it was definitely doable for them. In a matter of 10 minutes they carefully wrapped the dresser in shipping blankets, and got it securely and safely upstairs. PMT made the impossible possible with a team of 3. I can’t say enough good things about the service that they provided. I highly recommend PMT, plus it always nice to support a local family owned business.

My experience with this company was absolutely amazing. I was a little nervous about it at first because I couldn’t find a whole lot of reviews on them online, but I discussed it with Maria who told me they while they have many years of experience working there, the company itself is pretty new. I am very happy that I went with them for many reasons, which I will describe in details. First, I lived three hours from Portland and they drove down to Redmond to load my Uhaul. They got stuck in traffic and found themselves running late, and they texted me to let me know right away. When they arrived, they were able to quickly take inventory of what needed to be moved (I was living with my dad, so not everything needed to go). Among these items were a 100+ year old China cabinet with the original glass in it and a piano. They wrapped them both up in blankets and carried them out to the truck without incident. Before we left Redmond, we double checked with them to make sure they knew I was moving to a third floor apartment, and due to a mix up it turned out they didn’t know. But they jumped right in and got it done without complaint. Eddie did let me know that there was going to be a $75 fee for the third floor, but it was not a big deal at all. Altogether I paid $970, including the fee, the services, the supplies they used, and their round-trip travel from Portland to Redmond and then drop off in Vancouver. Other moving companies I checked out wanted $5k+ for their services and I would not have had my belongings same-day. This could not have gone better. I am VERY impressed with them. Eddie, George and Tony were outstanding and I will definitely be calling them next time I move. 100% recommend.

I would give them 1000 stars if I could. I had never needed moving services before but I needed a few bigger items moved that I couldn’t do by myself. Maria helped me schedule and she was so timely and helpful in our conversations. Flexible and communicative, I felt very taken care of from the beginning, which was so relieving as moving gives me lots of anxiety. Eddie and Tony packed the truck and they were the BEST! Seriously so so soooo great!! They were both so friendly and I was astonished at how quickly and carefully they were able to move these heavy items. In addition to being very good at what they do, they were cool to talk to! All of my items are in perfect condition, safely in their new home. Even when my new neighbors were being rude over a parking lot issue, Eddie and Tony handled the situation very well. The prices were so great, I feel a lot of anxiety taken off of my shoulders and I cannot recommend Pack My Truck and their great crew enough!! I super appreciate everyone I interacted with and will DEFINITELY be coming back for future moving services. Thanks so much you guys!!

We moved from NYC all the way to Portland, OR. We had all the arrangements planned out except for help unloading our things from a 22' Penske truck. I reached out to a couple of movers in PDX 3 days before we needed help and Maria responded immediately. Because it was so last minute, she was almost fully booked but made some arrangements to work around our schedule. We were moving into a condo complex and they had strict rules around the hours that we could move. Our flight arrived early and we arrived sooner than expected and Maria was so flexible in having her team show up early to meet us. They were so professional and took care of our things like they were theirs. They assembled furniture for us, moved things to where we wanted them, and also did a walk through to make sure we were happy with everything being where they were. They were super fast and friendly as could be. I only wish our movers on the outbound side were as good as Pack My Truck. I should mention that their prices are fantastic as well. You can't go wrong with these guys.

Worst moving company ever. I have a 1 bedroom and it took them over 8 hours from start to finish and I moved a mile from my previous address. The cost close to $1000.00! They had a 26' truck and left several lamps and boxes and other items behind. Broke items and left them as is on the living room floor. Bedroom furniture placed backward, did not follow furniture placement direction. I specifically told them to not stack items in my garage. When I checked, they stacked things in a huge pile. I called the owner Maria next day and told her all of the above and asked her to send out 2 men to finish the job. She refused saying "that's time and money and that's a cost we won't incurre". So I was left hiring 2 men on my own for 2 more hours and a truck for everything left behind and arrange heavy furniture correctly. Do not hire this company. If you are not satisfied, they don't care. They take no responsibility.

I have to admit I was a little bit skeptical upfront at the company who relied on the customer to get the the trucks that they pack. Thinking more about the business model in retrospect it's pretty good. What was amazing about this company where the people. Maria was super responsive on the phone flexible when we needed to change times. The true hero of the company is a guy named Eddie. He's one of their lead Foreman and super detail oriented. What impressed me the most is that Eddie is a grandfather and it looks like is 38. At one point I even had my son come over just to interact within because of how polite he was. Every sentence ended with sir or boss.I'm not one that wants to be called Sir or boss but I appreciated the politeness and the consistency of somebody who cared that much. Is packing abilities and lifting abilities we're as good as his manners. I think he played Tetris professionally.

This company was a life saver for us! We used Pack My Truck to help us move some furniture out of our house and into our POD and they had a great deal for work under 1 hr. Then, later that evening, we realized that we were in over our heads with moving the rest of our stuff but it was after 6:30 pm so we though we were screwed. I decided to try to contact the company again to see if there was any chance they could come help us again the next morning and the manager not only called me back after business hours but was able to move things around and get 2 guys here at 6:30 am to help us with the rest of our stuff. We were so grateful that they could help us, not to mention the movers were friendly, on time, and did a great job packing the POD. Would absolutely use Pack My Truck again in a heartbeat!

I was blown away by this company. Maria was super nice when scheduling the appointment. She made the whole process very easy. The guys showed up on-time (actually a bit early which was great). They were so fast and efficient. My fiancé and I had been unloading for 3 days. They did more in an hour than we did in three days of moving. Honestly, we couldn't have done in a week when they did in an hour. We were moving a lot of furniture up to the second floor, and they moved it up super fast. They moved more than 50 heavy items/boxes/pieces of furniture upstairs in less than an hour. They were careful with all of our items. Nothing was damaged. I will definitely hire this company any time I have to move. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We are super happy customers!

Eddie and team are pros. When you watch them it’s so impressive how these guys move and are so efficient with every load. They know this stuff cold. Honestly, I’ve just never seen movers as good as these guys which is why I’m writing this review. They’re just good people all around and they worked their butts off until 10:30 at night with absolutely 0 complaints and a great attitude. Took care of my belongings as if it was their own and they also appropriately wrapped finer things in heavy duty blankets and plenty of tape/clear wrap. Happily dissembled my furniture too. 100% recommend Eddie, his wife Maria who helped me set the whole thing up, and his workers who are extremely hard workers. Thanks, Pack My Truck!

I am SO happy with my experience with Pack My Truck. At first, the 2 movers were about an hour late because their previous job was bigger than expected. I was annoyed that they were going to be late because I only have the U-Haul for a certain amount of time. But, when the movers showed up they were moving SO FAST. They had dollies ready to go and other moving materials. They were very professional and careful with my items. I feel like I got a great deal because a competitor (College Hunks) quoted me $400 MINIMUM to move stuff from a 1 bedroom apartment only a mile away. My total cost with Pack My Truck was around $200. It's so worth it and I will recommend this company to any of my friends who are moving!

From the moment I contacted them they were helpful and efficient. Scheduling the packing of our truck was smooth and quick and then day of they called about a half hour before showing up. Our crew Tony, Eddie, and Jimmy got right to work and kept at it until the job was done. A few questions here and there but otherwise I just stayed out of the way while they took care of loading the truck. Tried to have things all ready but they still took care to wrap and package things I didn't think to take care of....also the move was a long distance and our load did not shift one little bit. It was packed so well!!! Nothing broken or damaged. I would call again for their services!! Thank you for everything!!!!

I sold my house and scheduled help with this company, they charge you a "mileage fee", up front, in addition to the hourly rate which I did not have a problem with except when the sale on my house fell through and I had to cancel they said the "mileage fee" was not refundable even though they didn't go anywhere. This is pretty pathetic so, if there is any chance your plans might change, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, otherwise their reviews are good and that's why I chose them but I will not be using them in the future because things change. Reply: it wasn't last minute, it was 25 days before the move. Your excuse for keeping a mileage fee when you do nothing is wrong period!

Great moving and packing company! I hired them to move from one house to another, about 3 miles apart in the Hillsboro area. Maria was very quick to respond upon my initial inquiry. She sent one of her movers pretty soon in the week to do an estimate. Eddie was very efficient and accurate in terms of his estimate. I hired 3 movers, Eddie, Tony and Jimmy, to move a 1700 sqft home. They were incredibly efficient. They are super nice people too. They packed everything very quickly and with care. All of our stuff was very organized in their packing. No damaged or broken items. They moved everything in 5.5 hours. Highly recommend their service.

We used Pack My Truck today, and our movers Tony, Eddie, and Jorge were great! We had them move our stuff from a U-Pack cube (at the U-Pack facility) to our apartment a few miles away. The entire move took less than two hours, even though our apartment was on the third floor with no elevator. They handled everything with care, so much so that one of our new neighbors asked them for the business info for a future move. We coordinated the move with Maria, who was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this business and Tony, Eddie and Jorge!

I can’t say enough good things about Eddie, Alex and the team from Pack My Truck! These guys truly went the extra mile for me every step of the way, from giving me a better rate than any other company in Portland (I got plenty of quotes!) to efficiently and safely packing AND moving my whole house in an afternoon! They were incredibly professional, thorough and made the brutal process of moving SO MUCH BETTER than it would have been otherwise... if you are looking for the best movers in PDX, look no further than these guys - they’re fantastic!

Moving with Pack My Truck was a wonderful experience. We were able to schedule our in-town move a couple of weeks in advance and receive clear communications leading up to and on the day of the move. Christian and Manny were AMAZING! They handled all of our stuff with care and expertly packed the truck full. These guys worked their tails off and never lost their professional kindness. These guys rocked my world this morning! They showed up on time and ready to handle the challenge of rearranging things from my storage unit that were already in my truck, so that everything from my apartment would fit. They were fast, worked hard and totally delivered. Eddie is the Tetris master of all time!! I am so impressed with how quickly and efficiently he wrapped and stacked my belongings in the truck. He and Miguel were a very professional team and took care of everything. I couldn't imagine a better move.

We hired Pack My Truck to load our moving pods. They did a phenomenal job, loaded our house in just over an hour (SO fast!) - they even packed us so well that we only had to use 2 pods instead of 3, saving us a bunch of money. Our crew was Tony, Sky, and Jimmy. They were really friendly, talked us through everything, and were extra careful when packing things on our newly refinished floors - not a scratch anywhere. The office staff were very helpful scheduling was prompt and easy. The best thing was the movers that came out to do the work. They were very professional, they had an amazing attitude. It’s not often in todays society that the employees doing the work are actually thankful for your business. That’s exactly how they made me feel. We are moving out of state and needed help loading our U-Pack trailer. We had never used movers before, but I recently had a major surgery and we are not so young any more. Someone recommended this team to us and we are so glad they did. They did a phenomenal job. They packed the trailer so well, I know they saved us money on the space we didn’t have to use. They were patient, kind, and friendly - couldn’t recommend them more.

I’m not sure why the ratings are so high on these guys. Yes they scheduled me quickly (after paying $25 fee to get them to my house) but they did the small amount of work I had to move. They were here less than 30 minutes and I was out $175. No moving people are worth this amount of money for such a short job. Yes they came quickly, yes they did what I asked, but at a HIGH cost. Next time I’ll look for someone more reasonable

I had the crew help out with my move on short notice, when I suddenly realized I couldn't do it ourselves. It was a huge relief knowing "they've got it covered". I also had to reroute and have them pick up a piece of furniture from the SE first, and there was no problem accommodating. They were also very gentle with the furniture and wrapped everything, unwrapped everything, etc. Thanks team!!

From start to finish a great experience. Eddie and team were prompt, efficient and kind. Moving during a pandemic is stressful, but they made it much less so. They came prepared with all the tools needed to dissemble my furniture, wrap my belongings, etc. I also lived on the third floor of a walk up and they had no issues. And they’re also quite affordable, in my opinion. Highly recommend.

Awesome! I don’t use that term lightly. My neighbors all marveled at how efficiently and professionally they packed my trailer (ABF trailer to Buffalo). They used 6’ less than I, or ABF, estimated. Eddie and crew were great. Eddie called in advanced to verify time and if we needed anything for them to bring. They did a wonderful job wrapping our furniture and moving our belongings to the POD. The heaviest furniture was on the top floor and they took extra precautions to not damage anything while moving it. We were extremely happy with their work and would use them again.

Trey and his crew were great. Padded the doorway out (see picture) and hauled some VERY heavy furniture from a basement apartment without causing any damage at all. Even dealt with my feral cat with grace!!! (btw, he made it home safe guys!) Very fast and so much more affordable than the moving companies I've hired in the past. Thank you for making our move less stressful.

Christian, Rome, and Ethan did an amazing job helping us move out of our home. The team was communicative, had a great sense of of humor, and moved our items with care. They are Tetris masters when it comes to packing a truck. It was super hot outside, and they all remained in good spirits. If I was moving in the Portland area again I would 100% call this business.

These guys were great! Showed up on time, and loaded my rental truck with our 1 bedroom apt in under the two hr minimum. When they first looked at our situation, they were afraid that they wouldn’t be able to fit everything in the truck, but they worked hard to pack it in such a way to get it all in. I had them pack a lot of my house one day and load a truck on another. Office staff were great, as was the total 5 people working at my house. They were hard working, respectful, and were great at both asking for instructions as well as giving them. If I were to stay in the area, I'd hire them again.

The team of 2 moved my apartment with lightning speed. They took lots of care with everything (glass, tv, light colored couch, large mirror, etc etc etc). I'm thrilled. The rate was very reasonable too. Will definitely call them again the next time I move. Grateful they made moving so easy.
