Appalling service, rude staff and no regard for paying customers. There is no need for cheering and disrupting people's experience in a movie. Even if it is a concert movie there are manners and social norms that should be upheld. The staff had absolutely no regard for that. Do not go to Palace Cinemas when they think it's okay to disregard the experience of paying customers. I paid to hear THE MOVIE not some obnoxious morons who think a movie is a stadium. A stadium is completely different to a cinema and cheering at a stadium makes sense but it has absolutely no place in a movie. Any type of movie. The staff are rude and don't have any regard for the experience of customers. A concert movie is still a MOVIE and it is still a cinema not a stadium. The fact that Palace Cinemas think it's okay for a minority to ruin a movie experience for the majority shows they have absolutely no concept of customer service. I will NEVER be going back to Palace Cinemas when they disregard customers and think bad behaviour in cinemas such as crawling around, cheering and shooting throughout the movie is okay.

Usually a good place to go, however yesterday we arrived to see Oppenheimer to be told 5 minutes before that the showing has been cancelled and we will be given a voucher to see something another time. Annoying... but these things happen. HOWEVER, imagine how annoyed we were when we then tried to rebook our tickets online using these vouchers, to be told they don't work online and you have to come into the cinema to be able to use them? We don't live anywhere near the cinema to be able to do this, which makes them basically unusable. I appreciate things happen sometimes, but having your solution as something people can only redeem by coming into the cinema is counter productive and very frustrating, you wasted our Sunday and now you've wasted our money which we can't redeem.

The WORST cinema experience: • their website shows premium standards. • the MOVIE resolution was the worst quality I have ever seen. The SCREEN WAS cut off and very poor resolution. I felt I was watching a pirate copy. • overcharging for premium cost with NO Premium standards of quality. • Previews played for too long. • very bad lighting in the cinema. • the cinema was dirty & smelly. • the chairs were as hard as a rock. No recliner or cushions or cushioned head rests. No cup holders. Just a table attachment to the seat that didn't turn properly and got jamed. • the curtains sounded like they needed oiling. • there was no food or gold class service. The popcorn was stale and dry & the soft drink was watered down. • Restrooms were not clean

Needs improvement. Cinema 6 has a big mark in the middle of the screen. We tried to buy drinks and the staff were reluctant for us to use the lounge because they bizarrely thought we didn't buy cinema tickets (we had of course, but seriously, what on earth?). Almost every time we've gone (at least three times now) I've had to tell people to get out of the seats I booked. People on their phones during the movie. Two people got into a fight last time we were there, and I think a guy went for security, but no one ever showed up, and they weren't kicked out. Needs better staffing or it'll just get trashier.

Really nice cinemas. Just got a standard ticket and it was a very good experience. The smaller cinemas makes the viewing experience feel a lot more homely. Pricing is a little bit above (more expensive than) average. Only criticism is that they had only a couple of people on registers. The queue was around 15-20 people deep by the time we got to the front, so not what you want. p.s. if you're entering in off Broadway take the lift up!

Gorgeous cinema with really comfy seating. Located on the top level of the Sydney Central complex. The wine bar and seating area looks great and is also a good place to hang pre or post movie. The cinema always has foreign film festivals screening which is awesome as the variety of films are excellent. The usual snacks are available as well as a licensed bar. Sing up for the free membership as it offers discounts on all tickets.

Silly screening of Oppenheimer on Saturday afternoon. Stair lights were extremely bright and reflected off the projector screen. Audio was soft. Theatre was located next to public restrooms and random people kept opening the door to look, there should be curtains to prevent such disruptions. 3 stars at least because I really pleased with the service, fresh olive oil popcorn and lounge.

Excellent pop corn and cool prices with their loyalty program! However, with the renovation bar is tiny and the air con inside the cinema is too much. You need a coat. Also the number of people who disrespect other patrons by talking, using phones and more has increased drastically that watching movies there becomes a bit tedious.

So far the best cinema experience I've had in Sydney. This is not your regular mainstream cinema, screening rooms are smaller and more intimate and you can actually buy and bring your drinks in and watch your movie while enjoying a fine glass of wine. Seats are brand new, reclining for some and super comfy. I really recommend

price is a bit on the higher side if you aren't a member but there is a free membership option, the seats are extremely comfortable and they have a pullout table which is a nice change from a cup holder, big leather chair, intimate theatre, decent location, didn't get any snacks but they apparently have olive oil popcorn

One of the best cinemas in Sydney. Great prices especially with the free membership, small cinemas so they're never too crowded or too far from the screen. Alongside a great selection of movies that are often not showing at the larger event/reading cinemas. The popcorn is also excellent

Outstanding venue for movie lovers. Boutique style cinema house with about 10 cinemas on level 3 inside the shopping centre next to the Glue store .cosy cinemas with smaller screens and not more than 50 seats each. They sell snacks and alchohol too so you can watch the movie in style.

The venue has gone cashless, which is inconvenient. Not only that but when we went to pay with card, they applied a surcharge. If you’re not aware, it is illegal to surcharge if there is no alternative way to pay. Get rid of the surcharge or accept my cash.

It’s always nice to come to these smaller scale cinemas and enjoy a movie! These cinemas are a lot cleaner and better taken care of than the larger scale cinemas so worth that little bit extra for a better experience. Platinum class is also

It's a nice but small cinema. The price is reasonable but the food and snacks are expensive. Almost feel like they gave up profiting on tickets but on food instead. The staff was friendly but the place was also quite under-staffed during

Palace Cinema is located in the Central Park Building on Broadway. Palace offers quality movies & plenty to choose from. The cinemas have easy access, plenty of room, & very comfortable adjustable seats. Staff are helpful & friendly, &

Since the bar opened up next door, Cinema 8 is not useable. Either stop showing movies in there, or tell the bar to turn their music down. It is far from ideal watching a movie with loud electronic music playing continuously next door.

Centrally located in CBD (Central Business District) opposite UTS (University of Technology Sydney) all transports, eateries, shops, offices, awesome decorations, supermarts, Chinatown, Harbour, park highly recommended …

I love this cinema, the vibe, and, of course, their famous popcorn. I always enjoy the movie selection: not only do they show Hollywood blockbusters, but also more ambitious movies. And you can't beat the location!

  • Hugo Brown

The platnuim class is great, especially has the cost prohibits alot of people from going so you get to enjoy in the company of others who enjoy watching films in quieter way with service at call of button.

Popcorn is amazing prices aren’t too bad! The seats are comfy but I wish they went back! Or I couldn’t figure out how to make them. Anyway, love to see movies here. Love that it’s not too big and crowded

The cinema is fine... the overall ambience in the shopping centre is not so great. There seems to be more shops now opening in September 2023 so may improve overall experience

Located inside Central Park shopping centre. Palace cinema can beat other cinema price competitor. It is quiet small cinema, looks like you enter a private home cinema. It is

The screens are very small, the seating arrangement is terrible, and my TV’s sound is better than at the cinema. Moreover, there are no food options, nor Caramel Popcorn.

Love this theater, very chic. Popcorn and icecream yummy. Bought tix online and just went into theater. Comfy seats and cozy space. Look forward to going back.

  • NmN

it's nice but those exit lights they keep on during the show is just unbearable. It's right at your eye sight and makes the movie experience unpleasant

  • Olivia Lo

The theatre is pretty small and there’s trash between seats. However the price is very affordable, just 9 dollars for students.

  • sandra galeano

Nice, clean and quiet movie theatre in the city. I really enjoyed it. If you don’t like the crowd this is the best place to go.

  • Lucy Robson

Always enjoy a film here, great cinema and enjoy the surroundings. Well worth signing up to the free membership.

  • Michael Casey

Great cinema. Comfort in seating and legroom (188cm). Choc tops great. Full bar if you want. Will go again.
