I brought a lipstick on 10/12/2023 and once I opened it the turning mechanism was broken. I took it back to Panda stores Gateway on 20/12/2023 and was absolutely appalled at their customer service and assistance. They refused to replace the faulty product and kept point at the sign on the wall that says "no returns on make up etc ", even though my item was not used and I had both my receipts. They additionally questioned me as to "why I didn't bring it back the next day on my break " and "how is it possible that I have time to bring it today on my break" and further accused me of potentionally breaking it myself and bringing it back to Panda stores Gateway . The store manager Lydia even viewed the cameras to see the time I bought the item. This is very disappointing since I was going to purchase all my Christmas gifts at Panda stores Gateway but given the service and accusations and questioning by the staff and management I will not be shopping at any of the Panda stores anymore. Many of my co workers have also had issues with faulty products from Panda stores Gateway and have since refused to shop there as well.

Experience was horrendous. The supervisor named Lydia was the most rude and very unfriendly person I have encountered in passing. She should permanently wear a mask to cover her facial expressions. She was so rude to a patron who was not at fault for an item falling due to it terribly being stacked by the store staff. She has no communication skills especially knowing that the patron was elderly . She was more interested in complaining about her husband and home problems instead of dealing with issues in the store. Most staff were very incompetent. What horrified me the most was one of the staff actually picking her nose and packing the shelf. She did not even go sanitize her hand. It was so disgusting and unhygienic... It's scary that such a terrible outlet is being put in such a beautiful mall. It takes the luxury of shopping in gateway from a 10 to a 0.. A definite NO GO zone especially if you or your family want to get infections for the festive season. Gifts from there.. definitenly not. Totally disappointing... Definite 0/10 The experience in Value Co. In Cornubia was 100% better.

THE MANAGER OR OWNER OR WHOEVER THAT LADY IS, IS ABSOLUTELY RUDE, THEY DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY PUT THE WRONG PRICES ON ITEMS AND THEN REFUSE TO GIVE THE PRICE THE CUSTOMER SAW.... SHE CAN'T FOLLOW OUR SOUTH AFRICAN LAWS SHE MUST GO BACK WHERE SHE CAME FROM!!!! SHE IS RUDE AND SAYS GO GET SOMETHING ELSE FOR THE PRICE YOU WANT.... SHE NEED TO GO FOR LESSONS ON HOW TO DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS! IMAGINE THEY HAVE THE WRONG PRICES ON THE ITEMS AND YET SHE SAYS OH NO SHE WONT GIVE ME THAT PRICE I SAW... SHE IS HORRIBLE, RUDE, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL...

Went their on the opening week. Great deals. Not that expensive shop. Some nice stuff.
