I stayed here on the night Kraftwerk played in Brisbane due to the short distance from the venue. At check in, I was asked to pay a $100 security deposit. This always baffles me because if I was to damage the room, $100 wouldn't begin to cover the cost of repairs. I stay in Brisbane multiple times through the year and, for some reason, Brisbane hotels and apartments love charging these deposits that always take close to two full weeks to return. The venues can manually release the funds the next day if they choose so. I know this because I work in the industry. I digress. So? What of the rooms? They are a little out-dated but great value for money consideing the location. I really enjoyed my room. It was quiet and high up but, more importantly, very clean. The kitchen was a little old and warn. It could do with an upgrade but, it covered my needs for the niggt and breakfast the following morning. Both the fridge and freezer were nice and cold. I managed to cook bacon, eggs and beans with toast for breakfast with minimal fuss. Sometimes, the hotplates are useless but in this venue, they worked a treat. The TV offered a good selection of viewing, the bedroom was very comfortable with lots of space as was the bathroom. The shower offered great water pressure and the towels were nice a fluffy. Sadly, the air-conditioning was still stuck in the early 90s. A massive cumbersome unit that made almost no impact. It would be a struggle on a hot day to keep the place cool I suspect. Would I stay here again? Most definitely! As I mentioned earlier, I found the room to be great value for money despite the few areas needing an upgrade. If you are chilled and relaxed about your accommodation, this is the perfect venue for a stay. For the precious Barbie doll types out there, I'm not sure you would totally enjoy your stay. The staff were friendly in parts but a,touch difficult in other ways. The chap who checked me in upon arrival seemed unhappy with his job.

The room I was placed in was dirty and run down, and the air-conditioning was stuck on full blast, which was impacting my asthma and confined me to the bedroom. I asked if I could be moved to another room, and they told me they were fully booked, yet looking on their website, they still had rooms listed as available. When I called my third party booking service and asked them to move me hotels suddenly a room was available it was the same type, just that it had been refurbished and the heater worked, so I was able to use the whole apartment. Really don't like being lied too. I won't be staying there again

I was in Brisbane for a job interview and this place was near by so seemed the logical choice. The room was nice enough for the price although a bit dirty in places and in need of some TLC. The real let down however was the bed. The mattress had completely collapsed and unfortunately I didn't find this out until reception had gone for the evening, the result was basically no sleep and a sore back which was just what I was after going for the interview the next morning.

The building is quite old, and the elevators regularly don’t work. They are always in maintenance but still broken. If you stay on the top rooms/apts, good luck! Also, the smoke alarm is a nightmare in this hotel. Multiple times I woke up with it ringing in the middle of night/early morning. They are false alarms caused for God knows the reason. The staffs don’t care much or provide much information about anything going on this property.

Checked in last night, to a dirty and dingy room more like an old forlorn boarding house apartment than a hotel room. Single glazed windows with skinny roller blinds but no drapes let every noise through and the carpet is stained and dirty. The bathroom is grim. Location is perfect but the room is basic, soulless and hasn’t been updated in decades.

Hotel desperately needs a renovation. The air conditioning units are so old, that even when the dial was set at 5 degrees the room was still over 30. Grubby carpets, and not safe for kids with windows that open full width, in a high rise apartment. Good location and the lady on reception was nice, thank you.

Our favourite hotel in Brisbane. The view of the Brisbane River and bridges is the best. The apartments are big and there is a little kitchen for self catering. Thank you Nell for your friendly, helpful and professional service during our stays in 2023 and 2022.

Worst experience of my life, horrible reception service!! We were on the lobby waiting for more than 2hrs for our room to be cleaned for check in, other guest arrived after us and they were able to check in first . Don’t recommend this hotel at all. I felt discriminated. Only the location is good

Good large rooms. Only lost points because of the bed. The two singles pushed together weren't the same height, so a bit of a ridge between. Wouldn't stop me from booking again.

The hotel is a budget-friendly option with basic amenities and comfortable rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient for exploring the area. While not the most luxurious stay, it provides good value for the price and is a decent choice for travelers on a budget.

Great location, the room was a great size with nice views - really generous! However, the carpet was stained, the bathroom was really dated and the shower head was SUPER LOW!! The room had a really awful smell in it; we couldn’t shake the

For the price ($180) this hotel was neat, clean and in the perfect location for our night out near The Barracks and a walk around town the next morning. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Friendly team, sensational location, but in general a tired and possibly unloved block of apartments. The amount of clearly visible wear and tear that would be relatively simple to fix makes the experience feel a little flat. I think the

Good location just a bit run down, wouldn't step outside after court sessions due to its location being so close to the police headquarters and drugs court, but aside from that it's super convenient. More

I read a review after arriving at the hotel which exactly matched my experience. The downside: room had an unpleasant smell. Dirty walls and stained carpets in hallways.
