Discourteous and rude staff with pathetic customer service. 1. The customer service is fine if they are selling a car. Once you are out with your car, they don't care about anything. They sold me a 5 year Mechanical Protection Plan for a car which was already under manufacturer warranty which was not required. Since it was my first time buying a car, I totally trusted then and did not catch this point. It was a bad advise and a breach of trust. They also advised to get the car serviced after ever 6 months from them to keep the plan active, which otherwise was required every 12 months as long as the car was in manufacturer warranty. Another bad advise and bad customer service. 2. I finally sold of the car before the expiry of the 5-year plan and was eligible for a refund of the balance. I called them multiple times to process the refund and every time they transferred me between five different departments to finally reach the voice mailbox of the Finance department. Each time, I left a voice message with my details with an expectation for a call back, which I never received - bad customer service. After waiting for around 10 days or so, I decided to take a time-off from my work and visit them personally to get the task done. Again, I was bounced around between 3 different departments with each suggesting to go to the other one - bad customer service. Finally, I was escorted to a guy who was sitting with quite an agitated look on his face. I explained my situation to him while he never showed any courtesy to ask his customer to have a seat - discourtesy. He responded in fewest possible words to leave my copy of contract and they would get back to me. With a bad experience of not getting any calls back, I politely asked if it is possible to process it while I am there. The guy, handed my documents back to me and said, "Go Away" - the rudest response i ever received from any service provider. I again politely explained him the reason for my request which he was not willing to listen to. So asked him if it was possible to share his direct contact number for me to call him for follow up if required. He declined my request initially and then after my insistence shared the same landline number which had been transferring me from one team to another - lack of empathy and poor customer service. Finally, I gave up on him and left with the thought if I get my refund I would be lucky and if not, it is worth paying the cost to get rid of these guys - pathetic customer experience.

Sorry to say I do not recommend for service or repairs. I took my Holden there for a few non urgent repairs - asked for a quote. They charged $160 per fault to look at the minor concerns then provide the quote. I agreed however I note that no other mechanic does this. So the quote came back $2500 for one problem and $985 for the other. I elected to walk away and get another quote which I did from a mechanic that came recommended from multiple people. First issue he quoted $1000 ($1500 less!!$ second issue $600 ($350 less!) He said neither seemed urgent but would be good to sort out. Ok so now I know these guys are crazily overpriced but what really truly irks me is the receptionist told me problem #1 (which had to do with a potential leak of coolant ) was VERY urgent and I should get it fixed straight away as I could overheat the engine and damage it. She emphasized how urgent it was.. odd as the car had been fine no overheating etc at all. I went straight from Holden to the other mechanic. He discovered the coolant was almost empty!! Holden mechanic had charged me to find the problem and either saw the coolant was low and just left it that way or emptied it and then left it that way. I was driving out of there with a car that was going to overheat any minute and they knew it !! They even thought it would be great to warn me how urgent it was I pay them $2500 to fix it ! I will never Return to this business I suggest you seek a more reputable place to take your car.

Five years ago I was impressed by the service here. NOT ANY MORE. Took my holden back, just after the warranty was over, for a service. The headlight was not working, they quoted $1,110.00 to replace the whole unit, they said it was not fixable, I thought this was over the top, how much can a light bulb be worth?? The total list of 'urgent repairs' amounted to $10,118.00. The girl at reception could not even type properly because of her 'over the top' manicure and now as she pushed for me to accept the quote her attitude was deteriorating. So I declined and took my car to a trusted mechanic, he fixed it by resetting the vehicle management system, for free, something that could have been done during the service. If you put your trust in Pennant Hills Holden you have rocks in your head. Their greatest skill is fleecing you for every dollar they can. If you do go here and shake hands with anyone be sure to count your fingers afterwards to make sure they are all still attached. What a bunch of silver tounged serpents.

Initially I brought my car for the service and the car was returned much later than promised and more dirtier than before the service and with an issue I described unfixed. I was recommended to bring the car for the second time to change the parts they thought I should change to fix my car's issue which was the noise when pushing the break pedal on the declined surface. And the dealer suggested to change the belt, the belt tensioner and the AC compressor as Suzuki was paying for that and it is free for me (that was one of the main reason provided to me) and that changing those parts should solve the problem. The Rep was extremely sorry and said that next time I bring the car it will be washed. During my second visit I mentioned this experience and asked for the car to be washed after changing parts. The outcome : the car was returned unwashed again and the issue unfixed. The positive side is that I have been provided with a loan car free of charge while they were changing the parts.

I would like to leave some feedback with regard to our recent purchase of our new Captiva. The sales team serviced our need well which is as expected for a new car sale however I believe Ian Dingley went above and beyond when trying to get our loan across the line. The after sales service has been amazing! Everyone is friendly and helpful and I love the valet drop off. Trevor from service has been really helpful and extremely accommodating. Adam our sales rep followed up to see how we were going with the car a few days after the purchase and only just today – 2 weeks after the sale, I received a call from Kelly one of the owners. You should be really proud of your processes but on top of that you should be really proud of your staff. They really make your customers feel as though their needs come first and they are helpful and thoughtful. I will definitely become a return buyer knowing how I will be treated – I will also highly recommend people to your business.

I bought Commodore from Tony Pereira at Pennant Hills Holden Used cars. I was warmly greeted by Tony. Tony was very cheerful and he was very keen to help me. His product knowledge was amazing. He offered me a test drive and the whole experience of buying a car was very relaxing and enjoyable. I am 100 % satisfied by the customer service. I asked if i could drive the car home the same day. It was no trouble, the car was prepared, he paired my bluetooth phone, i was offered fuel and mats and drove home 1 hour after buying the car. Tony introduced me to the service dept for a small fault the following day and i was looked after without an appointment. My car was repaired in a matter of minutes and i was on my way. A great experience and i will definitely recommend Tony and all staff at Pennant Hills Holden to my family and friends.

Poor experience. In 2016 I bought a car from Pennant Hills Holden and they as well sold me an extended Mechanical Protection Plan. This Mechanical Protection Plan had a sentence saying: "The Company will, from the date of receipt of written request from the Customer, refund a pro-rata proportion of the remaining balance . . ." Later in 2019 I moved from Sydney changing my service dealer. Then I contacted Pennant Hills Holden to cancel this Mechanical Protection Plan and get refund mentioned in the Contract. They replied back referring to another part of the Contract and advised that my Mechanical Protection Plan "is not eligible for a refund ” as Contract "was auto cancelled/voided . . . due to missed servicing.” I am not happy with Pennant Hills Holden service at all. I would not use them again!

I recently purchased my very first car here, and was really happy to work with El-J as he ensured the entire process was incredibly smooth. I work at a dealership myself (not Holden) and see people spend hours with salesmen, but I was happy to have been able to sort out an agreement plus paperwork in under an hour (including a test drive). The car was in perfect condition come delivery, and had a near-full tank of fuel which I really appreciated. I’m obviously hoping this car lasts me the next decade, but I’d happily do business here again come time for my next car. Thank you to both El-J and Louis for a very happy experience.

Several of the worst car services I've ever had in my life. Oil smears on the outside of the car, twice the car has been screaming for more fuel upon picking the car up after they've obviously had fun thrashing it around the block with their mates, delays in getting the service done at the promised times, had an engine warning light come on as I drove out of the dealer; the list goes on. I was happy to forgo my extended dealer warranty so my car doesn't come and keep getting thrashed by someone else every 9 months. I escalated my experiences to the service manager AND Holden Australia.

Arrogance and rudeness come to mind... I decided that it was time to start looking for a new car... The name Hyundai and Kia was front of mind because of excellent reviews I've seen and read. I was wanting to look and feel both products. At Hyundai & Kia nothing to sit in and nothing test drive... Kia was a little better with their approach. I crossed the road to Toyota.... totally different.. a warm and friendly reception along with a coffee and cars to feel and drive.... Did a test drive in the Corolla Cross... Guess which one I'm going to buy... Shame

Took my car here to get serviced. Drop off was easy, staff were super friendly and knowledgeable, and the waiting area was comfortable and stocked with coffee, newspapers and a TV. There is also a vending machine with snacks. Staff were able to diagnose and solve the car fault within a few hours and I had the car back at the end of the day. My only word of advice is that if you need to use the courtesy shuttle provided, ensure you book it when you schedule your service or that may not be able to accommodate you.

The sales service for MG and Suzuki is great. Hyundai and Kia sales leaves a lot to be desired and you're better off looking on the websites- in fact they only seem interested in your if you are ready to hand over cash on the spot. Avoid weekends as the number of staff compared to clients means that you will have to wait for quite a while for service - particularly if people are there putting down money or picking up vehicles.

Better service than Windsor Holden! At least these guys didn't suggest roadside assistance for our failed shock absorber..... Addendum. Post the broken Captiva spark plug which eventually required extensive cylinder head repairs for the major service, they also didn't check the transfer case oil level. That resulted in a another failure at my cost. Subsequently I no longer use Holden as a repair/service agent.

Trevor in the Service Area is truly a service champion. Running my own business - I know how important people like this are. I had an issue with my service (as sometimes you do) but he had it sorted out quickly and made sure it received the care and focus it needed to get resolved. Very poor dealership. Purchased a 2021 Hyundai highlander with only a few kms, drove away with no registration transferred, and only half a tank of fuel. Not one person offered to show us the functions of the car. No indication on when servicing is required , and a slow finance department. 1 star is being quite generous for the dealership. I would recommend trying Skoda across the road perhaps

Never taking my car back there or purchasing another one. My whole family have always bought from Barry Smith Holden but the issues I have faced from servicing has turned them right off.

The company reps. Are very helpful.The new Rams are same what over priced. I'll wait for the price to drop. The Rams are a good towing vehicle and the back trays are prepared with tie down hooks. The interior is comfortable. Appointed well , comfortable the only thing now is the test drive.
