I had never been here before, so I looked them up online and my wife and I decided to pay the store a visit. When we showed up (via Lyft) I was totally blown away by the appearance on the outside (reminded me of New Orleans), it's a massive store. wow. So we go in and noticed that it's even larger on the inside. and man that new furniture smell. sooooo much furniture and decor, very impressive. We were greeted right when we walked in the door. The Gentleman who helped us at first seemed rather in a hurry, so he didn't have a lot of patience with me or my wife. Come to find out he was helping more than one person at a time. (Apparently, it's against policy there.) So anyway, My wife and I decided to look around at all the furniture in the place. She went one way I went the other. We spent a good 3-4 hours in there maybe more. (to be honest, I lost track of time) We met up with another gentleman there by the name of KYLE MILNE. I nicknamed him the Tall Gentle Giant. Very soft spoken, knowledgeable and friendly. I mean I am usually hard to deal with due to my social awkwardness (I ramble a lot), but he didn't seem annoyed at all. very very patient. He answered all our questions and we talked a lot with him. Long story short, it took us quite a while to finally pick things we wanted for our Bedroom. It was just so overwhelming. So many beautiful things to look at there, (I admit I got so distracted. ha!) and we settled on a set from upstairs. The Cinry Set. We wanted an extra nightstand as well. When all was said and done we paid for a Queen headboard/rails/footboard, Dresser (no mirror to save some cash) 2 Nightstands. He told us it would arrive sometime early June. (Though for some reason on the paperwork it was stamped "July 2nd of 2018") Also, we discovered he accidentally put in the wrong apartment number, we ended up calling in and getting it changed no biggie. (our fault for not checking the order form prior) so anyway, All in all my wife and I had a decent experience at the store for being first time customers. again for the most part (with the exception of a couple impatient sales reps), our experience with KYLE was a good one. Had it honestly not been for KYLE, we probably would have left unsatisfied. A few of the sales people looked bored out of their minds and they were just sitting around on the furniture either texting or shooting the breeze. Admittedly the store didn't have many customers at the time we were there (may 18th) Anyway I'll be updating this review once we actually get the items we paid for. They are being delivered and assembled in our apartment by Pruitt's delivery people, so we'll see how that goes. So... Here's an Update : a few days Ago (5-29-18), Delivery guys showed up and Brought in and set-up everything we bought. Really nice guys. They set everything up really quick and where out within about 20 mins or so. (They were fast) Then they give us tips on how to move the newly built bed frame if we ever decide to move. My wife and I will def do business with Pruitt's Furniture again. (So long as we get another good Floor Sales Rep again. ;)

I purchased a rocker recliner on line from my son for his birthday think it will be delivered within the week. After no response I decided to email customer service to find out what’s going on they said my order did not exist luckily I snapped a photo of my transaction and had my proof the lady said I would have to wait 4 to 6 weeks for the product as they don’t make it I had to get it from someone else very upsetting news. because it did not state this in the ad after waiting five weeks with no response I emailed customer service to find out what’s going on after several emails they never emailed me back so I made the phone call to find out where is the chair after waiting several minutes on line the representative told me I would have to wait an additional six weeks because it’s back ordered I know the chair is not back ordered they never ordered the chair that’s why I will be an additional six weeks I asked your verification proved that the chair was ordered and the representative would not supply this because it doesn’t exist they never ordered it the representative didn’t even really seem to care that I would have to wait 12 weeks for a chair until I asked what her name was I would be writing a review(Rosie) then replied would I like my money back no I want what I paid for and a discount because you messed up she replied that they will be no discount this is poor customer service at its best maybe if you’re in there look for furniture you may want to look elsewhere as you may have to wait several months for your product to arrive and they do not care they will not email you back either. Is the free drop shipping really worth it at this point I don’t think so

Buyer Beware! This place is horrible, the quality of their furniture is garbage, and their customer service is even worse. We shopped around the big stores, thought we found a great place to buy a fairly expensive sectional. Months later, they delivered a massive couch, which we questioned was what we even ordered. Well, within 5 months, the cushions failed, the fabric was horrible, wearing, and hot, and we could feel the frame of the couch in our backs. Called them about it failing this early, they sent out a guy to take pictures. Apparently that did nothing, so they picked it up on a Wednesday, threw our cushions on the ground when moving it, set our couch on the ground outside and in the truck, didn't bother to wrap it, guys were sweaty while hugging our cushions to take them out. So now our couch is dirty. Then, they won't even look at it until Saturday, when Kyle is back working (as if he is the master furniture carpenter?). So, inconvenience your customers for days without a couch based on the schedule of one guy? They gave us a loaner, at my asking, which was horrible. I had to call them back just to understand what was happening to our couch, whether we were getting our money back or we had to fight them on this. This place is a joke, expensive, and their furniture is very low quality. Will never shop here again.

Worst customer service and disrespectful store manager. Purchased a bedroom set in May 2021. We were told we we would get it in July but nothing in July. After calling the store I was told would receive in August. I called multiple times to inquire about the bed with no assistance from the store manager. I think his name is Kyle. He said he can’t help and right now whole world is having problems and it’s not his problem when I was talking about the purchase that was made. He I won’t be getting the bed until the end of December may be. They lie about everything and they’re very rude and disrespectful to their customers. I ended up canceling my order and the store manager did tell me we will get refund on everything that’s including the warranty fees, shipping fees as they delivered part of the purchase in may. We will never do business with them and we recommend everyone to stay away from this place. So much for being a family owned company. I hope to get all our money back without any issues otherwise they’ll get sued for sure. Zero stars.

Thank you to Kyle M. for going above and beyond. We recently purchased a new home for seasonal use. Kyle took my order via email from Canada based on Pruitt’s extensive online selection of furnishings and accessories. Kyle also provided expert advice with any questions we had. Our order was processed flawlessly and delivered on our desired date. Pruitt’s delivery staff were amazing! They were efficient and very professional. Our new furnishings were set up for us and the packing materials taken away. We were so impressed with the quality and value of our purchase, along with Kyle’s support we decided to make a trip to their showroom to thank Kyle personally. We found a few more items there too! We have already recommended Pruitt’s and Kyle to some neighbours and future buyers at Robson Ranch. Thank you again to Kyle and the entire team!

PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND SAVE YOURSELF MONEY AND A HEADACHE. If you really want to enjoy your furniture everyday you can’t do it from Pruitts. I spent $4,000 on a sectional and a dinner table and the 2 year warranty. I have NOT even had my furniture for 2 weeks and each item broke!!! It’s like these are for show only! I had a friend come over and she sat down on our couch and it cracked, my son and his dad sat at the dinner table bench to look at a photo album and it cracked too. We had a technician come to our house to say there’s nothing he can do even though we have a warranty and it’s up to the owners to determine the final outcome. These people are going to give you cheap furniture at a totally over priced rate. I am beyond upset and shocked at the cheap quality of furniture here.

I am new to Arizona and a friend told me about Pruitts. Do not be deceived by the old exterior of the building. Pruitts has a large inventory of quality furniture at reasonable prices. Earlene was my sales guy and he is nothing short of amazing! He is not pushy and does not try to over sale you. He allows you to take your time, has a ton of knowledge about the various brands and quality and will go the extra mile to make sure you are completely satisfied. Pam in the office area is so patient and understanding. I have called there many times and she is always pleasant, helpful, and eager to resolve whatever issue you may have. She literally is a God send! When my friends see my place, they don’t believe how much I paid for my furniture. I highly recommend you check them out.

I bought a chair. The salesperson was very friendly and informative there was nothing wrong with the sales experience the problem came when I had to wait for over an hour to have my chair brought out and loaded into my car. I sat in my car in a desolate parking lot and loading Zone. I finally called and asked what was happening with the chair I bought. They said it wouldn't be too much longer. Which turned out to be about 15 minutes. I believe this was all the time that was needed to bring my chair out and load it up. I am not why I had to wait an hour. But why no one came out to tell me that it would be a while. This was the store on Thomas. Because of my waiting time I felt like giving this one star. But decided to do a three because the sales service was good.

They sold me a dining table in June 2021 and in 4 month somehow water got inside the table and the edge got swollen cracking the paint on the side. To my surprise It wasn't even real wood at all but synthetic materials with wood laminate. Their policy says one year of warranty however they won't back up their product and they even challenge me to court if I have a problem with their decision even after they send a guy to check the damages and agreed it's due to the table absorbing liquid but the customer support talks like I drop the table on it side. Buyers beware. They never told me its fake wood, they won't back their product and they are quick to challenge you to court.

A friend of mine told me about Pruitt's Furniture. I went last Saturday to the Thomas Rd location (Phoenix, Az) and had the great opportunity to work with Earland. He was so awesome. He was so helpful explaining the warranties, the service, the product. I got a quick delivery schedule. The delivery was A+ as well. They came in a professional truck, clean, courtesy and professional. They were quick and didn't damage anything. I have being buying pieces and having them delivered and last 8 months I have gotten the bad delivery guys. This service all around was like the days of GREAT Customer Service. I will be going here first to furniture the rest of my home.

As long as I’m in Phoenix, I won’t get furniture anywhere else. First, they have the best prices hands down. The same set we got was $350 more at AFW. Second, the sales people are not pushy and will make sure they find something that fits your needs. Finally, they had a long long day of deliveries and still came by at 7pm to bring our furniture (they gave us a heads up when we bought it could be as late as 8pm). Oh, and we loved a set that was out of stock but they had one on the floor and they let us take it! Love love love this place. It’s family owned too so you are supporting the livelihood of a good family!

Quality furniture, wide selection & fair pricing make this the go to store for furniture needs. We recently replaced loveseats, large chairs with ottomans & some tables for two rooms. We saw some items at Ashley Furniture, but the same item (by item number on product), was considerably higher there. We saved money at Pruitts, have furniture that is durable & delivery was seamless & efficient. We purchased the warranty & were also given a care & polish kit for both the fabric & leather pieces. Our salesperson was informative, patient and helpful & we'll buy from here again.

I bought a beautiful couch from Pruitts. Had it delivered because I’m disabled and elderly. The delivery drivers asked me where I wanted it. I said right through the front door. They said they couldn’t bring it in the house. Said it wouldn’t fit through the door in the box. (It could) it was about to start raining and I didn’t want the couch to get ruined. I sent it back. If I wanted to bring it in the house myself I would have picked it up myself. I am done with Pruitts. Back to American Furniture Warehouse for me. They deliver it INSIDE the home.

I am always impressed by this place! It’s the perfect furniture store. The have a great selection! It is evident that the buyer for the store really knows how to select the right items and has a solid mix of furniture making one stop shopping for any furniture I might need for my home. Went to get a dining table set. They conveniently had all of their dining table and chairs in one room where you could look at specifically what you came for. Great selection and price range. Only bummer about the whole experience is that the dining set we chose was not in stock and have to wait 4-6 weeks for delivery. This is the 2nd store that said because of COVID-19 that things are out of stock and there is a long wait. Time to get back to business! Other than that great experience.

We were very impressed with the selection here. We weren't familiar with them and didn't know what to expect before pulling into their parking lot. Very large building and broken into many different rooms depending on what you are looking for and price point. Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for furniture, and we weren't being crowded by the salespeople - - very good at giving us space yet being close enough for when we had questions.

Came looking for sectionals and beds for new house recently purchased. Pruitt's choices are numerous and fairly priced. I have purchased from there before and have been extremely happy with the product I purchased and the delivery and set up by their drivers. There was no pressure sales and it is a very enjoyable shopping experience every time I visit their showroom. I definitely will continue using and recommending their store.

Great choices and helpful staff! Got an awesome couch (USA made) and some Ashley furniture pieces. Free delivery and set up; however the men who delivered got sweat all over the couch so I called the store and they sent out a cleaning technician ASAP (he was an independent contractor but worked for them for 30 years and had nothing but great things to say about the family owned business). Great customer service!

I bought a sectional from Pruitts on Thursday and it was delivered by Friday at 11 am. Everyone from Scott the salesperson to the delivery people were very professional. I love their selection, service, and prices. The other bonus is it is a locally owned family business not a corporate owned chain store. I've bought many pieces from them over the years and they have always been high quality. It is worth a look.

Usually the quality is high, but recently we purchased a table and chairs. The table is great, but the chairs are so cheap and nothing similar to what was in the show room. We’ve had them come out and service them 3 times and they continue to fall apart. Now they no longer will respond to our calls, they won’t fix them and they won’t refund us for these junks chairs. Will never be coming back here again.

Me and my husband bought a sectional and it was blue and it was called. The sales was David. And it cost over $2,0000 and it didn't came has we thought we had alot of problems with this company. We are surprised there still in business.we had to go back because we wanted to return it and they didn't. And the guy David Harris. We bought it in 2003 and 2004 and they did have day laborers.

I have shopped here for 30 years and one of my sofas was given to another family with lots of children and grandchildren and it still looks and feels great. I have been satisfied with everything I buy there. The salespeople are awesome and great prices. Under $150.00 less than the Dump for a sofa I bought a year ago.

Bought extended warrenty on recliner set. Put in claim and cushion not covered. I was told the warrenty would cover everything. Even is cut by knife or puncture, but not cushion. Manager Lynn stated they are training employees to point this out. Sorry but not helping my case. Don't waste money on insurance.
